Chapter Text

"The accused is found gulity of their crime by the jury and is sentenced to life with parole."

The smack of the judges hammer was heard echoing across the beautifully carved court room as she smacked it upon the wooden coaster.

"Gulity, of smuggling illegal weapons, and suspected drugs being imported into [REDACTED] from [REDACTED]"

You stood at your podium on display to a half filled court room, sticking out like a sore thumb in the bright orange prison attire you had been wearing, your wrists aching from the stainless steel cuffs the cop placed you in.

As you stood there an officer walked over to escort you outside of the court room, as you were dragged down the velvet floors you couldnt help but glance over at the men sitting in the last row, all their suits having the exact same emblem on the chest pocket.

"Weird."

You mumbled under your breath, scoffing as you awaited the car escort to the county jail. The scruffy cop swung the door open and shoved you inside, shutting the door behind you. As you looked out the window to the cop you noticed the men you saw earlier walk up to him and notice them starting to have a conversation, the thick glass of the cop car window keeping your from ease dropping; you were almost upset you couldnt hear what the men were saying.

The officer finished talking to the suspicious men, continuing to walk the drivers side of the car and sit down behind the wheel, his demeanor seeming uncomfortable, almost frightened and intimidated as he began to start driving the...

...Opposite direction of the county jail, but towards the port.

The car ride was dreadful, the cop flipped between old 80s music channels and gospel music halfway throughout the car ride, his deep gravel like voice occasionally humming along to the grating music. You were dropped off at an almost remote location and transported into an even heavier and armoured vehicle, a big black van that you sat in the back of, your wrists and feet chained together before you took off on the long journey ahead of you.

Soon the black van arrived at a warehouse on the edge of the city along the ocean front, it was massive and seemingly heavily guarded with turrets and other heavy machinery. Your stomach twisted with nervousness, you knew immediately this wasnt the county jail, possibly something even worse.

You were dragged out of the black van, the van driver was not the one pulling you out though, but by a heavily armed officer who guided you to a very high tech armored elevator that took you deep underground into under the dark and gloomy facility.

The elevator opened to a prison like environment, you had a sigh of relief realized that this might actually be a county jail outside of the city, but still halfly upset that your still being thrown into jail but also heavily confused to why you were being locked up in to a prison on the outskirts of town right on the blue ocean.

Arent prisons usually on land?

What you didnt expect was what the next 2 weeks brought you, a seemingly torturous training camp for an underwater corporation called UrbanShade. They were making hellish almost military soilders to retrieve a 'crystal' from a flooded underwater facility littered with monsters.

At this point death would be more of a want than this hell. No one told you anything about why it was flooded and why there a crystal, all you know was that there was a loaded shotgun to the back of your head at all times and you might die and at any moment upon leaving the facility and journeying into the dephs of the let vand zone.

The only postive to this training was you had an almost desirable living space, it was definitely out of the oridinary for a prison; and that your body finally had more muscle definition.

But curiousity got the best you, despite all the risks and your fear you almost longed to see what was down in the let vand zone, why were there monsters? Why were you and other prisons choosen to go here? All the other times you were arrested it was nothing like this. It felt like a high powered magnet was pulling you into the arnoured hard shelled submarine, Call Of The Void.

After a grueling year and constant under water drills and training and studying the differents threats that lived in the let vand zone you were finally transported via submarine deep into the ocean, traveling all the way out to point nemo where the underwater facility was located with around 10 to 15 other prisoners, the journey lasted almost 2 weeks and was the most dreadful experience, but you knew you wouldnt have to go through it again since the last time you were gonna see sunlight was before you stepped foot into that black submarine.
