Chapter Text
"Can you help me find my son?"
"Oh? Yeah you know I would! Is he alive still?"
"No, he died many years ago."
"Ah! Well....Why not ask the Angel Counsiler for his location. I get Heaven is big, but they should be able to find his location with no problem."
"......That's the issue....He's not in Heaven."
"....Oh..."
Oh
Are you a fallen angel now? Or would you still just be a Angel on VaCa?
"You keep tensing up and moving around like this, the tattoo is gonna get fucked up." You say, pulling the tattoo gun back from the demon's lower adament, starting to get annoyed with the demon's squirming around.
"You know what, how about a 10 mins break. Go smoke or get something to drink and we will see if we can continue when you get back." You sigh, pulling the needle tip out of the gun and throwing it into the small trash beside you before removing your gloves.
The demon in your chair sits himself up and groans from the pain of the started tattoo.
"Don't mean to move around. The fucking thing hurts like a bitch." The demon grumbles. You lean back against your chair and let out a annoyed sigh. No no, you can't be mad at the client, everyone's pain tolorance is different.
"Well, lets see how you're feeling after that break and go from there." You waved the demon away before standing up, watching him step outside the front for his smokes.
"Love when they come in here acting all tough and talking big game, then crumble when they get tattooed." Your co-worker spoke to you as she walks by your table, holding a energy drink in her hands.
Her name was Tina and the form she was given was that of a bear....But combine of plants as well. Plant bear? Though with her hair being made of vines was pretty cool. They could grow different flowers from it depending on her emotions.
"How long you think hes gonna last after break?" You ask, standing up to stretch your back and give your hands some stretched from holding the tattoo gun for an hour. Tina thinks for a sec before answering you back.
"I give it half an hour. You think he will stay still enough to finish the outline atleast?" She ask as you, giving a lazy smirk at your form. You shrugged and take a sip from your cup of tea, looking back out the doors in the shop. "That's what Im aiming for. I don't get why he just doesn't use the numbing cream. It would make this so much easier to work with, for both of us." You whine, leaning against your table to slumping your head onto your shoulder before looking up at Tina. She only chuckles into her drink as she gives a amusining stare back.
"Oh he's one of those old fashion men. Gotta be toughh, no matter if it would make it better for everyone if they admit it's too much. Ope he's coming back. Good luck." Tina steps away from you as you turn your attention back to your client, coming back to your chair. You put on new gloves and attach new needles to the gun, getting yourself ready to work again.
"We ready to go at it again?"
Home, thats all you cared about as you finally enter your apartment. You almost got caught in another terf war as you were leaving work. While you worked more in the Vee's territory, your apartment was in the inner city, near the boarder to Cannibal Town. Now you're not really interested in Cannible Town and its....culture.You like meat, but not like they do. Honestly you would rather be Vee's area, as it had all the fun shops you were interested in, despise the sex stuff that was pastured around.
You liked technology...maybe not as much as the people in Vee's territory like it, but you enjoyed how it made things easier for you, unlike the old time of Cannibal town. Which don't get you wrong, love the looks and the cute old styles of it's time, but you died in 2022, where technology was just everywhere. You atleast needed your phone and tablet.
No the real reason you lived near Cannible Town was for a dear friend of yours. The one that you willingly followed to hell.
"Oh! There you are! I was getting worried you were going to be stuck in that dreadful terf war that had happened a few blocks away." A petite woman comes out of the kitchen, her curly blonde and brown hair put into a low ponytail.
Her name was Irene Lorecraft. A young lady in appearance, but old in her personality. Her skin was a lovely milk chocolate that had gold flakes sprinkled around her skin. Though she used to have normal, golden eyes. For hell, her eyes became black with her iris turning green, same with her wings. Gone with the white wings, and replaced with green wings with black tips, almost giving it a burnt look.
Heaven allowed those that made it through their golden gates the ability to change their looks at will. Wanted to look how you were on earth, you could or you could change it completly. Even adding animal, tech and/or elements to your design. There was no body shame, so there was no limitation to what you wish to look. Irene picked to stay in her human form with some minor changes, but here in hell, she decided to add on some Goat designs. The horns, the ears and the tail. She even added those weird iris goats have. Wanting to look a little more for Hell.
You kept it about as basic as Irene with your looks. Especially since you died not too long ago, You stayed mostly human looking, but decided it couldn't hurt to add Mouse ears, little mouse nose and a long tail that had a puff ball at the tip. You even gave your mouse ears some cute sun and moon earrings.
Your angel wings turned into more butterfly designed wings. Still bird wing shape, but with butterfly designs for hell.
"Not this time, kept my shield up to make sure no unwanted attacks hit me as I was flying home. " you take off your shoes at the door and follow Irene into the kitchen, already smelling something good cooking. "What you got going?"
"Country fried steak! With green beans and bacon bits with some good ole fashion mash potatoes. Found a good selection in Cannabil Town on my way home." Irene smiles, already reading the question/concern on your face. "It's not human meat. You know I always double check and no, I'm still not becoming a cannibal. Though they are wonderful people."
"I'll keep you to that." You take your seat on a bar stool and watch Irene cook. Ready to stuff your face and laze about on the couch. The reason you lived closer to Cannible Town was for 2 reasons. One, Irene felt much more fit in with the people of Cannible Town then any of the other areas. Especially given she was alive closer to that time period and you had no issue with it, you had wings to fly to and from work.
The other reason for being close to Cannible Town was for the same reason you and Irene were even in hell in the first place.
Her Son.
He was rumored to always hang around Cannible Town the most before he suddenly disappeared in hell. Irene figured she might have a good chance of seeing him if she worked and lived near Cannible Town. How could you say no to that?
While she was a close friend to you in heaven, the two of you's relationship morphed more into a parent and child like status. She filled the void where your mother was missing and you the same for her with Irene not having her son with her in Heaven.
You were about to ask Irene how work was until the power suddenly turned off.
"Who the fuck knocked the power out this time? " you question as Irene formed a small glow light in her palm. Before Irene could response back, the radio that sat on top of the microwave turns itself on with a erie voice that sings out of it.
"I'm afraid you lost your signal. Let's begin~"
Oh, oh that's weird. You were about to comment on it at Irene, but froze when her eyes were widen in pure shocked and...... Hope?
"Irene? You okay?" You asked as you step closer to her, only for her to snap out of her trance and quickly grabbing your hands tightly.
"Irene...?" You question with concern in your voice. You could only study her expression for a second before she spoke.
"It's him"
"It's..... Who?"
"It's him! My son! Alastor!"
Oh.... Dear goople.... How do you tell your best friend/heaven mother that her son sounds like a fucking creep?
