dan heng has the unfortunate realization of the situation he has found himself in.

Work Text:

This is fine. This is totally fine.

Dan Heng just wants to reunite with Ren and get out of here as quickly as possible, but it isn’t going to be easy. Things are also quiet. Too quiet. He seems to have been placed in a little grass field of sorts, with a mansion in the middle. As soon as he tries taking a step behind him, he bonks his nose on a forcefield. He must have been put on the edge of the arena then.

He realizes he has a little blue button attached to his person. When he clicks it, the world becomes infinitely… taller? He looks down at a rain puddle and gasps. I just turned into a lamp . He should be freaking out right now, but he’s actually quite nimble and fast in this form, so he just rolls with the punches. When he rounds a corner, he sees someone hiding behind a tree. Perhaps another player?

Dan Heng is about to approach her when he hears her let out the biggest shriek he has heard since he landed in this world. “Ah! Please, there’s no reason to take this game so seriously!” What he sees next, honestly has him rolling his eyes. Ren dons a maniacal smile as he quickly catches up to her and presses a button. It scans the general area, and the woman disappears. Dan Heng isn’t worried, she must have gone back to the real world.

He should have expected that Ren would have fun with this game. After all, they’ve been in a similar cat and mouse chase for so many years. Well if it’s a game he wants, a game he’ll get.

We both have experience with this, Ren. Catch me if you can .
