That's Right, YOUR Idiots Want You To Be Happy

Summary:

It's complicated, but a TL;DR is that I'm basically writing Jackbox characters breaking the fourth wall to offer you comfort in honestly crappy times.

Chapter 1: Explaining This Horrifically

Chapter Text

Greetings folk. Colored "Will Make Sure You Know Your Comfort Characters Want You To Be Happy" Scribbli here.

...how did I get this idea? It's funny.

Mostly just got roped into a conversation about how some friend saw Schmitty as a parental figure they'd like. Same, really! Then I thought about it a bit.

Characters breaking the fourth wall because they can see you aren't doing the best? Otherwise avoiding an important thing?

Hoo boy, do I LIVE for it!

So I've decided to make this thing a proper... thing. You too can be comforted by your silly blorbos!

How, tell, do ya do this? Look no further.

[HOW DO I DO THIS?]

It's simple. You just have to leave a comment on here detailing two, potentially three basic things: the character you want offering you comfort, what you want to be comforted about, and the third but more optional thing - a general gist of how the character acts.

Why do I need that? I'm what I call a New-School-Jackboxer. I work best with the Pack 10 hosts! And as the packs go down I get a bit more... ehh.

So, if you want to request a more vague character (eg. somebody like the Bracketeering fellow or Buzz because free my man), I'd find it very helpful to know how they act so I don't write 'em wrong on accident!

An example on what to do (though there's no need to follow this EXACT format):

'maybe a thing of cookie trying to remind me to drink water'

I'm bundling comfort and self-care into the same word.

Boom. Feel free to ask me any questions you'd like, and have fun being comforted by your silly idiots.
