Taehyung isn't as oblivious as people thought he was. He was just good at ignoring and Overlooking. But he couldn't do that anymore. It was getting too much. Jungkook needed to move on.
Exhausted from a long day doing interviews,he threw himself on his bed.
Less than five minutes later,he felt the bed dip beside him.
"Hyung do you want me to get you something from the store? I'm hungry".It was Jungkook.
Taehyung stared.
"Hyung?"Jungkook looked confused.
Blinking, Taehyung sat up.
"We need to talk."
"Did I do something?I-"
"No,You didn't."Sighing,He stood and walked to the window.
"Jungkook,I don't know how to say this so I'm going to be blunt."Jungkook stared at him,face blank.
Taehyung doesn't know how to approach this.He doesn't know how to ask his maknae if he perhaps has feelings for him.
Jungkook also stood up.
"Hyung-"
"Jungkook please be honest with me.Do you have feelings for me?"He prayed he denied it.
Silence.
Jungkook's face was still blank.
"Jungkook please help me out here"Taehyung pleaded.
Jungkook walked up to him.He was suddenly too close.
"And if I do? What's going to happen then?"
Taehyung isn't a coward,but he really wants to run at this moment.
"Jungkook, I'm really sorry but I want you to move on."His vision was becoming blurry with held back tears.
"Jungkook, you need someone who will love you back... I- I can't Gukkie"
"But why,why hyung?"Jungkook whispered
"I love you as a brother.I'm your hyung Gukkie.Your brother."
"Tae, I've never seen you as a brother.I've been in love with you since I met you Tae...I can't-I can't stop."He sounded broken.
Taehyung blamed himself.He should have done this a long time ago.
"You can Jungkook.You can stop.There are a lot of people out there who will love you.I just don't want you holding any hope that I will because I'm sorry but that'll never happen."He was been cold but he needed to be.
He moved towards the door.He's running away.
Jungkook stopped him.
"Stay, I'll go.It's your room."Quietly,He left the room.
Taehyung released a breath he didn't know he was holding.
