Some Things Can’t Be Helped

Summary:

Lumine was a princess of the abyss. A leader destined to rally the forces of the greatest darkness, of the people that remained of Khaenri’ah against Celestia. To topple the forces of the gods and humanity so that the abyss may rule.

But there were some things that just can’t be helped.

Like you.

Notes:

I have awakened from my slumber to provide to you my Abyss Lumine Brainrot. I swear I’ll write the next chapters for the other fics soon

Work Text:

Lumine was a princess of the abyss. A leader destined to rally the forces of the greatest darkness, of the people that remained of Khaenri’ah against Celestia. To topple the forces of the gods and humanity so that the abyss may rule.

But there were some things that just can’t be helped.

Like you.

She couldn’t deny you made her feel certain ways she’d never felt in her life, both in Khaenri’ah and in the Abyss, ways even her brother had failed to make her feel (and she supposed she could be thankful for that; she was many things, many horrible things, but incestual didn’t happen to be one of them).

The way you smiled that caused her frozen heart to thaw just that little bit, the laugh that made her days feel like maybe they wouldn’t quite stretch on forever. How your eyes sparkled whenever she tucked your hair behind your ear, and whispered how much she loved you with her hot breath tingling your ear. She didn’t exactly have a soft spot for humans, but for you, she could make an exception.

And if anyone had any problems with it? Well, she didn’t have a problem sending a few of her more obstinate subordinates to the doors of the reaper of souls.

She was the Princess of the Abyss, after all. Some things can’t be helped.

And sure, theoretically you could leave at any time, but why would you? Lumine showers you with so many lavish gifts, praise, offers of wonders beyond the human imagination, pampering and taking care of you. You were her most valuable possession after all, and she liked keeping hold of things she liked.

But if you were ever to try to leave in spite of that… she’d have to do something to convince you otherwise.

Lumine would never hurt you, obviously. She’d never forgive herself if a single hair on your head was out of place. In practice, however, if you ever left, you might find a few Abyssal Mages appearing out of nowhere, telling you it was unsafe and that the Princess required you back immediately.

She was the cruel princess of the Abyss, after all. Some things can’t be helped.

To rule at her side until Celestia cracked under her pressure, and to celebrate that victory with her when the day comes. She, of course, has the perfect idea for a gift in mind, as she always thinks every problem out and comes up with an indisputable solution.

She was the intelligent, cruel Princess of the Abyss, after all. Some things can’t be helped.

Thus was your fate. Her treasure, her precious darling, a princess kept in a high tower by an abyssal dragon; to be lavished with praise and guided by a velvet fist into her arms everyday; to hear sweet nothings whispered in your ear by her cold lips and to feel them pressed against yours. To receive her love and adoration, until all of your thoughts were of her, and her alone.

She was the loving, intelligent, cruel Princess of the Abyss, after all. Some things can’t be helped.
