Work Text:
Tall, not tan, but young and lovely. He knew her from TV, and he knows everyone staring did too. He wanted to approach her, but how could he? Alejandro was just some nobody—an ice cream vendor on the side. She was a reality star.
A hot summer day. Relaxing murmurs of breeze flew through the palm trees, ruffling their leaves and alerting the coconuts that they had to ripen faster.
Alejandro was working at an ice cream truck, trying to make a living to support himself in college. It was like any other summer day, with a lot of the guests and beach mongers queueing up for a scoop of cold, sweet ice cream.
Nothing in particular caught his eye, except for a head of silky, black hair amongst the line. The person seemed familiar, but Alejandro didn't wanna jump to conclusions.
As the figure got closer, he looked at her removing her sunglasses. It was Heather! From Total Drama! Man, she was ethereal. Is this love at first sight?
What he didn't realize was the state he was in right now. He didn't realize he'd been staring at her, mouth agape, pupils dilated, and heart beating wildly.
"Hello," she snaps, clearly irritated, "I'd appreciate if you could take my order now,"
Stuttering, he obliges, "Y-yes, Ma'am. What would you like to have?"
"Okay." She took a deep breath. "I want a triple choco ice cream, with two tablespoons of vanilla placed between 3 pieces of cherries, KEEP THE STEMS ON, then drizzle with a mixture of dark chocolate and caramel, and don't put any drizzle on the cherries. Got it?"
"Got it. Anything else you'd like?"
"None."
"Okay, Ma'am coming right up."
As he passed the note on to his fellow co-worker the blonde guy stood surprised.
"Dude that chick's order is crazy! What kind of Harry Potter wicked abra-ca-dabra is this?" he exclaimed.
"Don't know Geoff, but it's what the customer wants." he shrugs.
"How were you even able to write this fast? And with this much information too. I'd go batshit, bro."
Dismissively, he tells him, "Dunno, now get to working. We don't want her to get angry."
"Aye aye, Captain."

As soon as lunch break came, Alejandro decided to take a walk around the park. After all, considering the time he spent there, he might as well check the place out.
...and there she was.
Sitting near the palm trees, was Heather.
It would've been a lie to say that he didn't feel anything but admiration towards her, in fact, his suave demeanor spiked as he saw her.
There was this aura about her personality on the show. He liked feisty women. A girl who could cuss him off the first minute then tell him she loved him.
A girl who would stand up to him. Would tell him around.
Yeah, that was his type.
And Heather? Well, she was exactly that.
As he started gravitating towards her, she stood up from her place, and began walking towards the shore.
Heads turned, men whistled, and women's jaws dropped. They all knew who she was, yet she still didn't care.
As Heather swam towards the sea, Alejandro rushed to follow her. He shouted, "Hi! I'm Alejandro. Nice to meet you!"
Heather looked him in the eye, seeing a glimmer of confidence in them. She flirtatiously winked, saying, "Couldn't get enough, huh?" and dove into the water again.
"Wow," he sighed, dreamily.
