Chapter Text
Joe was inspecting his alarm clock, sitting on the couch. Weird how it always went one way, forward, he was really trying to think what would happen if it went backwards. Would the day reset?? He was snapped from his thoughts when Ross walked in with Andrew. They were talking about some junk he didn't care about.
"Hey, Ross you're a scientist. What happens if I spin the clock backwards?"
"I study biology, Joseph."
"So? Isn't like physics as important?"
"It's not what I'm studying goddamn it."
"You're useless. Andy?" Joe turned to Andrew who was very lost in thought, clearly only Andrew cared about answering his question. After a little bit of thinking, asking Ross questions he couldn't answer and then thinking again, Andrew had a solid answer.
"I don't know" Andrew shrugged, Joe looked defeated, after all that time he was thinking for and that's all Andrew came up with?
"But, it wouldn't hurt for us to all gather around the clock and spin it backwards together and find out" He added, with a slight smile. That..was good enough for joe, so together they turned back the time on the clock. Apparently it was some ancient magic clock because by the time both hands on the clock were back at 12 all 3 of them were little kids.
Just little little guys. Joe who was the eldest of the group has reverted to around 5? It was hard to tell, Andrew around 4, leaving Ross as the littlest at around 3-2 ish.
Now, this wasn't the outcome anyone was expecting. Who knew turning a clock backwards would literally turn back time? That's insane! It would be especially insane to Rob and Zubin when they returned from the grocery store. The last thing they'd ever expect is to come home to 3 toddlers in their house of 5 men.
"I'm TELLING you he's still staring at the clock"
"Get ready to eat your words, Rob"
They both walked into the home and were greeted by, and you'd never guess what it was, 3 little kids. Rob, who'd never been a big fan of kids, backed up a bit behind Zubin.
"Haha guys, how responsible of you leaving some kids unsupervised" Zubin laughed sarcastically, looking around the house. It was dead silent aside from the laughter of the 3.
The biggest of the 3, joe, was sat on top of the back rest of the couch and was throwing pillows at the younger two. The middle one was throwing them back at him while the littlest just stared.
"Guys..?????" Rob called out, looking around the house for any signs of the others. Their cars were there, so they had to be. Zubin on the other hand, took control of the situation.
"Hey, we don't hit our friends," He spoke calmly, taking the pillows away from the oldest one. "What's your name buddy?" He asked, setting things into place.
"Joey!" The kid responded, getting up and jumping around. Zubin just stared at the kid, it was a coincidence or a really elaborate prank.
"Well Joey, can you not jump on the couch? How about we get on some cartoons?" He reasoned, watching the three get excited and stare at the tv expectantly.
"First you gotta tell me your names," he held up the remote he'd grabbed from the coffee table and stared at them expectantly.
"Joey!"
"Edu!"
"oss!"
The smallest one struggled with his own name, being the youngest. Now looking at them, they all looked like baby pictures/videos he'd seen before when they were working on the video for good day. Oh..god.
Zubin really quickly turned on the cartoons and ran off to find Rob. They had to talk about the possibility of these actually being their band mates.
