You are drunk Cadet.

Summary:

A one shot.

Tally returns to Fort Salem drunk and full of mishief after a night out with her sisters.
Her drunken antics land her in a spot of trouble with the guards who are less than amused by her behaviour, resulting in the General being called.

Work Text:

"Tally, wait up, I think you should hide at the back of the group, you're pretty wasted dude." Raelle laughed, as they approached the main gates to Fort Salem.

"Pfft...I....can...totally...pass as sober...woahh haha!" Tally replied, almost falling off the kerb.

"I'm pretty sure they're gonna know you're drunk Tal...you're such a lightweight." Abigail chuckled.

"It'll be fiiiine guys...you'll see, I'll just use...the Craven charm" Tally assured them with a drunken grin.

Raelle and Abigail smirked at each other.
"Sure Tal, you charm the pants off those guards!" Raelle encouraged.

Tally turned around and flashed her sisters a grin whilst walking backwards, which was definitely a bad idea as seconds later she tripped and fell on her ass.

Both Abigail and Raelle burst out laughing at their sister, who was currently laid out on the floor.
"You ok Tal?" Raelle asked when they finally managed to compose themselves.
Abigail went over to the redhead and helped her up.
"Yes...now shhh...we have to make them think we are sooober!" Tally replied grinning.
She approached the gate and one of the guards stepped forward.
"Report." The guard said.
"The names Craven...Tally Craven" Tally said in her best British accent.
Raelle and Abigail sniggered at their sister's terrible James Bond impression.
The guard did not look amused.
"Medals." She said sternly.
Tally turned to her sisters. "Ooo someone's a little grouchy." She laughed.
Tally pulled out her medal and showed it to the guard.
"Cadet Craven, you are drunk." The guard said.
"No shit!...ooops.. I mean no I'm not, I'm completely sober, not drunk at all...noope not me." She said with a drunken grin.
Tally looked down at the woman's chest, reading her name badge. "Corporal Mcdonald...oooh Mcdonaald had a faaarm...do 'You' have a farm Corporal Mcdonald?" Tally asked with a silly grin on her face.
"You are drunk and disorderly Cadet, demerit for your covern." Corporal Mcdonald told her, marking her medal with a 'D'.

"You're drunk and disorderly, why don't you have a demerit! Tally said, whispering a seed that removed the D on her medal and placed it on the Corporal's.

Raelle and Abigail tried to hide their smirks at the now furious guard.

"Who taught you that work!?" The Corporal asked.
Tally tapped the side of her nose and grinned.
"Answer me Cadet." The Corporal demanded.
That's classified... I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you." She said with a wink

"I've had enough of this, inside now!" The guard barked.

"Ooo somebody's definitely grouchy tonight!" Tally giggled as the guard marched her into the gatehouse.
"I suggest you two disappear...now!" Corporal Mcdonald said to Abigail and Raelle.
"So much for the Craven charm." Raelle chuckled as they followed the Corporal's instruction and left.

Tally was placed in a warded cell in the gatehouse.
"Aw come ooon...I was only messing with you Corporal...you're not really grouchy...you're a lovely...ball...of sunshine!" She yelled through the bars.

The redhead sat down on the camp cot.
"I love what you've done with the place...it's very hooomely." She laughed.
"Ooo the room is very...spinny...wooo!" Tally said grinning.
"You guys...aren't very chatty are you? I will definitely...be leaving a crappy review...I demand to see the manager!" She laughed.

A short while later the door opened and General Alder walked in.

"Aww you called the General...you big nark!" Tally said standing up.

"Cadet Craven do you care to tell me why I have been called out to the gate house at 2 in the morning to find you in a detention cell?" Sarah asked.

Tally bit her bottom lip. "Because aparently... I am drunk and being disooorderly Ma'am...that's totally not true by the way...General."

"I tried to issue her with a demerit General but she ended up transferring the D onto my medal instead." Corporal Mcdonald said.

"Maybe if you actually had.. 'the D' once in a while you wouldn't be so grooouchy." Tally said grinning.

Sarah had to bite the inside of her cheek to prevent the smirk that was threatening to break out at Tally's quick retort.

"That's enough Cadet!" Sarah said firmly.

Corporal Mcdonald chose to ignore the comment.

"When I asked her who taught her that work she said if she told me she would have to kill me." She told the General.

"Aw come on I was quoting top gun!...you must have seen it...that is such..a..great movie Goose." Tally replied with a grin.

"Cadet Craven I said that's enough! You will speak to your superiors with respect is that understood?" Sarah snapped.

"Yes General...has anyone ever told you... that you.. have.. the most prettiest eyes...they're sooo bluee." Tally replied with a drunken grin.
Sarah sighed. "On second thought do not speak at all, unless you would like to be court marshalled for making inappropriate comments to the General of the US army." She said raising her eyebrow.
"Mm I apologise Ma'am... I definitely do not find the rest of your face pretty then...because that...that would definitely be inappropriate." Tally said grinning.
"Cadet Craven you are a drunken idiot now be quiet...Corporal, I will handle this one personally, I assure you the Cadet will be severely reprimanded for her behaviour." Sarah said.
"Cadet, you will apologise to Corporal Mcdonald for your disrespect, now!" Sarah said sternly
Tally cleared her throat and put on her best serious face.
"I am sorry for my behaviour Corporal, I meant no disrespect...thank you for your service." Tally said, mock saluting her.
Sarah tensed her jaw.
"Open up the cell Corporal I will take her off your hands and I assure you that you will have a proper apology in the morning." Sarah said.

"Yaay I'm freee!" Tally laughed.
"Not quite Cadet, once I am done with you, you will wish I had left you in that cell!" Sarah said firmly.
Tally gulped.
Corporal Mcdonald smirked at Tally as she was led outside.

Tally was marched towards the Administration building by General Alder.
Once they reached her office Sarah ushered her inside.

"Tally Craven you are in big trouble!" Sarah said, staring down at the Cadet.
Tally bit her bottom lip and peered up at the General through her lashes.
"The last thing I expected to be doing tonight was bailing my very drunk girlfriend out of a cell at the guardhouse at 2 in the morning!" Sarah said.
"I'm sorry baaaby... don't be mad at me...I'll make it up to you" Tally said with a wink.
Sarah shook her head.
"Yes you will! But not tonight you are far too drunk to perform." She said.
"Pfft I will have you know...General ..Alder I am more than..capable of performing just fine right now!" Tally replied feigning offence.
Sarah raised her eyebrow at the redhead.
Tally frowned.
"Just how much have you had to drink tonight?" Sarah asked.
"Mmm a lot...I'm quite...drunk!" Tally replied.
"I can see that." Sarah chuckled.
"Are you... mad at me? Tally asked.
"No sweetheart...you are a huge pain in my ass sometimes but Goddess I love you." Sarah told her.
Tally grinned. "I love you..sooo much Sarah! You...were very sssexy when you were being 'the General' at the gatehouse." Tally told her.
Sarah chuckled. "I wasn't trying to be sexy Tally, I was trying to convince the guards that you would in fact be punished." She told her.
"Mmm but you know...I find you very sexy.. as the big..scary..General." Tally said, grinning.
Sarah shook her head.
"Come on, I think you need to go sleep this off...and just so you know I was serious about that apology...you will in fact be apologising profusely to Corporal Mcdonald tomorrow, is that understood?" Sarah said.
"Yes Ma'am." Tally replied, mock saluting.
Sarah rolled her eyes, there was clearly no getting through to the redhead in this state.

Sarah led the younger woman into her private sleeping quarters.
"Mmm General... are you trying to get me into bed?" Tally asked, winking.
"I am not trying Tally, you are going to bed, to sleep off your drunken stupor." Sarah told her
"So no sex for..Tal-ly?" The redhead asked with a cheeky grin.
"No sex for Tally." Sarah repeated.
Tally frowned. "You're...no fuun!" She said.
Sarah chuckled. "And you my love are incredibly drunk and need to go to sleep." She said.
"Fine!" Tally huffed.
"Come on sweetheart, let's get you out of these clothes." Sarah said, helping tally to take off her dress.
She went to her drawers and took out an old oversized army t-shirt and placed it on the redhead before pulling back the covers and encouraging Tally to lay down.
The older woman went to the sink and filled up a glass of water and placed it on the bedside table for the redhead.
"Sarah..." Tally said.
"Yes my love?" Sarah asked.
"Cuddle me?" Tally replied.
Sarah smiled. "Of course darling...give me a minute to get ready for bed ok?" She said.
Tally nodded sleepily.

A few minutes later Sarah climbed into bed behind Tally and pulled her into arms. She peered over at the redhead who was fast asleep, snoring softly.
She placed a kiss on the sleeping woman's cheek.

"Goodnight my love." Sarah whispered.
