Trap

Summary:

“Ieiri-san, I can't. I can't be pregnant right now. Not when my divorce is in the middle of-” Nanami took a deep breath, his voice wet, and his eyes were turning red as tears started to fill its rim. “I can not do this right now. Please help me.”

Notes:

I rushed this one, so I'm pretty sure that this is ‘meh’ and ‘bleh’ (not that my past works are focus on quality).

I'm rushing this cause I'm writing a GoNana Marriage hunt. Hihihi. Kinda excited for that one.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

---

"That can't be," Nanami says with so much conviction that it sparks pity in Shoko's heart for the man.

“Kento-”

"Can we recheck? Maybe it's just a stomach flu? Or maybe it was from my recent mission?" Nanami asks, trying to grasp something, but Shoko only shakes her head.

“The test is very accurate; you know how this world works. They want to know everything, that is why they built machines like this. Machines that can know who the father is and if the child has curse energy with them.” Shoko drops the lollipop she’s holding, “Kento, you're carrying the Gojo-heir.”

“Ieiri-san, I can't. I can't be pregnant right now. Not when my divorce is in the middle of-” Nanami took a deep breath, his voice wet, and his eyes were turning red as tears started to fill its rim. “I can not do this right now. Please help me.”

“I'll try. But you do know that for me to able to operate you, I need permission from your alpha. As he is the father of your child, and despite your divorce, he's still your partner.”

“Fuck.” Nanami pinched the bridge of his nose, tears spilling from his eyes.

“I can talk to him if you want to,” Shoko suggests.

Nanami looks at Shoko with so much hope and gratitude. “Thank you.”

But Nanami shouldn't trust her because as much as she loves him, her loyalty to their pack is much stronger. She understands why Nanami wants to leave, but that doesn't mean she agrees. Nanami should've listened to Gojo more, understood what Gojo wanted, and followed what he wanted; he was the alpha of their pack, and his decision was the law. And if Gojo wants Geto back in their pack, Nanami should respect it.

But now Nanami wants to kill his child, another pack member, the son of their alpha, and that is forbidden, sacrilegious even. On his path to freedom, Nanami is killing both his child and himself. And she cannot let that happen. He's pack, the youngest, and the omega. Their omega. Nanami is hers, too. Hers to protect and love.

So she did what she could to protect him. She calls Gojo.

Nanami was not born in the Jujutsu world; he never understood its customs or why they still cling to the old ways, like having a pack submitting fully to their partners or putting every decision to someone because of their orientation, but he respected it all.

He makes sure to try and compromise on every rule that they implement on him, that is, until he finds out that the reason why they were given a grade 1 mission when they knew that both Nanami and Yu are not capable of finishing it. They saw the paper that indicated that they wanted to terminate Yu because of his relationship with Nanami.

Because Beta and Omega couples shouldn't exist.

And his anger and Gojo’s disappointment towards the higher-ups have brought them together. But he didn't mean for it to be so intimate. Yu is and will always be the love of his life.

But one intimate night led into another, and then into another until Nanami’s clothes have a space on Satoru’s closet, and almost all of his books are neatly placed in Gojo’s residence.

But what he didn't do was ask Gojo for his bite; he never did. Even in the worst part of his heat, it will always be for Yu. But one day, he woke up with a bite on his neck, tying Nanami to the one and only Gojo Satoru.

But when Geto came back, he saw an exit, a way to warn him of his freedom. But, of course, how can a bird with clipped wings fly?

---

"Geto-san, please. Let me go. If you let me go, Gojo-san would be yours completely. P-please! My flight will leave. I need to be there!" Nanami pleads."This is my only chance!"

And Geto is being torn because it's their Nanami, their Omega, pleading for the impossible because of something absurd.

He and Gojo do love each other, but they are like the sun and the moon, while Gojo's love for Nanami is a like the moon and the stars. And Geto doesn't understand why Nanami thinks that Geto would replace Nanami's place in Gojo's life.

"Nanami, you can't leave."

And Geto's heart broke when he saw how fallen Nanami looked with those few words.

"Kento, listen. Gojo loves you, I love you. They need you. I need you, too." Geto pleads, but Nanami just looks crestfallen.

"You don't understand. I don't care about Gojo-san or you and your relationship or the pack! Or the rules or your customs! Fuck all you want! I don't care! It's Yu that I love! I want to leave. I want to be free. Let me fucking go!" Nanami finally breaks, screaming at the top of his lungs, pushing Geto with all of his strength, clawing his way out of the embrace.

And that is when Geto truly understands. Truly understand. Nanami uses his and Gojo’s situation to file for divorce not because he's jealous or hurt; he's using the situation to escape.

And now Geto’s angry, hurt, and desperate. Because now his world had shifted before he thought he could persuade Nanami to listen, to make Nanami see, and to show Nanami their love. That Nanami is loved by the both of them. Before, he thought Nanami wanted to leave because he was unloved and wanted to be loved. But now he knows that Nanami just wants to go. And it hurts.

But doesn't Nanami doesn't understand that there's no pack without an omega?  All of Geto’s dreams came crashing down. His dream of work beside Gojo again and to come home with their pregnant omega. Always pregnant with either Gojo or Geto’s offspring. Welcoming them with sweet kisses and stories about their children’s day.

All of those are starting to crumble in Geto’s eyes. So he did what Gojo was telling him to do months ago when Nanami first filed for divorce. He bit him. On the other side of his neck, where Gojo’s mark bite is. Because just like the moon, the sun needs the stars too.

Gojo smiles when he sees Geto carrying his omega inside their house. Now, his family is complete.
