"Shu you're so amazing I love you!"
"Your work is the best Shu! Keep it up!"
"He looks so handsome and his work is so good!"
"His significant other must be so lucky to have a man like that!"
Those words boomed against Shu's ears as he walked down the red carpet, earning flashes from the photographers and paparazzis that sort of blinded Shu as he entered but slowly got used to it, smiling and waving for his fans that surprisingly almost filled the whole venue and the photographers that were struck by the dark-haired man's amazing features.
As soon as he reached the end of the carpet, an organizer guided him to his seat that had a label 'Yamino, Shu' engraved on it, he sat and waited for the event to start, as all the guests sat on their respective chairs, the lights darkened and focused on the stage where the host that dressed in a suit with an orange tie and a recognizable brown hair.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Annual Webtoon Awards, I am your host tonight, Mysta Rias!" The brown haired raised his hand and waved at the crowd that surrounded the arena with their claps. "And a special host tonight, please welcome Mika Melatika!" Mysta pointed his hand to the girl that walked to the stage in a long silver dress that wrapped her body beautifully, "This man.. really" Shu chuckled at shook his head as he watched his friend and Mika on-stage, "Thank you Mysta Rias, now lets get tonight started!"
The two hosts announced the writers that won for each category, one writer that won a category was his close friend Shoto, whom we proudly clapped for, after all that man had been friends with him for many years.
"Now, for the award all of you have been waiting for.. the 'Webtoon of the Year'!" Mika excitedly exclaimed as she pointed at the trophy that stood in a glass cage. "For our competitors, Aia Amare's Licensed for Error, Elira Pandora's Ladders of Love" Earning a slight pause from the hosts, "And Shu Yamino's Considered for Evil" a picture of each webtoon cover appeared on the large screen, the arena was silent as the crowd waited for the winner.
A staff handed Mysta an envelope that contained the winner's name, his hand flapped the cover and took a peek at the winner's name with a grin and whispered it to Mika, the tension growing stronger by the second, the two hosts looked at each other and nodded, "The winner for this year is.."
Shu can hear his own heart beat, he can hear the silence in the room as everyone waited for the hosts to announce the winner, taking their time by making a pause, "Shu Yamino's Considered for Evil! Congratulations Shu! Please come up on stage!"
The two host announced and clapped in sync as the light focused on Shu who had wide eyes and mouthed a few 'really?'s to Mysta and the others that surrounded him, the crowd clapped and cheered as soon as Shu's name was called, he then made his way on to the stage still with a shocked expression that was soon replaced with a smile as he was given the mic and the heavy trophy that was probably bigger than his head.
"Err.. I really don't know what to say haha.. eyy pogg!" Shu laughed, making the crowd laugh, "But anyway, this award means so much to me, it really shows that we should continue what we're passionate about because at the end we'll surely get what we wished for, thank you to all my fans and the people that supported my journey from the beginning, and a little spoiler for all of you.." the tall man cleared his throat and shot a mischievous smile, "Season two will be released soon", followed by a wink.
The audience gasped at screamed with excitement at Shu's statement, clearly leaving an impact to the audience, Shu then walked down and back to his seat for a few closing credits, with the two hosts ending the event.
Shu was at his waiting room, laying down on the couch on his phone, scrolling through photos of him from today's event, suddenly a knock was heard, causing the man to lazily stand up and greet the person he'd been waiting for, he opened the door and was greeted by Mysta and his purple-haired friend, Shoto. "Shu! How are you? Congratulations on the award!" Shoto welcomed himself in and pulled Shu in for a hug, Mysta following him inside.
"Congrats Shu babe, you deserved that award so much! I honestly predicted you'd win so I made a bet with Mika, guess who won!" Mysta chuckled, feeling so proud of himself.
"Thanks guys.. I was really shocked when my name was called, I thought Elira will be called up so I prepared myself a draft tweet saying i'll try again next time" Shu grabbed the phone and showed the tweet to the two, causing the three of them to laugh.
The three sat down while Shoto shot his 'twin' an eyebrow raise. "So.. Season two huh? I thought you won't make one?" The purple haired guy laid back on the sofa and crossed his arms. "I really wasn't going to! but something just inspired me to do them again."
"What will it be about?" Mysta chimed in
"It'll just follow the cliffhanger I left on season one and make it have many twists, my viewers will probably be shocked by the twists, I planned some good ones" Shu laughed menacingly followed by the two rolling their eyes.
"Will you add Luca's love interest? or pure action and crime again?" Shoto nudged the other wiggled his eyebrows "Of course only action and crime, you know I don't do romance genre" "That's why you're bitchle- I mean.. maidenless at the moment" Mysta tried to hold his laugh in while Shu just rolled his eyes.
Shoto wrapped his arm around Shu's shoulder and leaned in, "Come on Shu~ Add a little more boost to his personality! I'm sure your viewers will like it! imagine the mafia boss getting a love interest, it'll definitely boost your readers"
Now that Shu's thinking about it, it'll definitely make his webtoon a little more interesting, but the problem is, Shu doesn't know anything about love or how it works, that's why he didn't add anything in the first place.
"I'll think about it," He stood up "I have to go home and work on it, I haven't really finished the first few chapters" The dark haired laughed awkwardly before standing up and grabbing his coat.
The two also stood up and patted Shu on the back. "I have dinner plans with someone so.. I gotta take my leave, see you mate!" Mysta gave a wink before setting off. "Ill walk you to the parking lot, some photographers might stalk you"
The dark haired man nodded and proceeded to leave the room with his small bag hooked on his shoulders, he then called an assistant to close the door and clean up for him before walking with Shoto to the parking lot, striking up a small conversation until they reached Shu's car.
"Hey man, this is where we'll part ways now, you should also go home, don't stay up late too much" Shu ruffled the male's head, messing his hair up a little
"Im also about to head home, I'm tired" Shoto groaned and waved bye to Shu before walking to his car with was nearby, Shu started his car and began to drive off, eager to go home.
Shu plopped down the bed with a groan, feeling the comfort of his own bed in his own home, he was about to doze off when his phone alarm rang, picking it up and snoozing it before sitting up again.
"Time to work.. no more procrastinating Shu!" he slapped himself on the cheeks and grabbed a can of Monster, gulping it all down and throwing it in the trash.
He approached his computer and digital tablet which helped him with his webtoon, he grabbed the pen and started to boot it up, yawning in the process, Shu stretched his body lazily and grabbed his glasses to work better.
As soon as the screen booted up, a ray of light appeared behind him, making him look back, as he caught a glimpse of what was behind him, he widened his eyes in confusion and fear, he did not know what it was.
It was a tall and wide portal that had a rectangle shape and a thin white border, the portal was slightly see through, unknown of what's behind it, Shu slowly backed away, until curiosity ate him and moved closer to it.
As he observed the bright portal, he noticed a dark shadow slowly approaching, and approaching, and approaching until..
A huge figure came out of the portal right in front of Shu, making him fall back while the digital pen he was holding rolled under the table.
Shu was about to get up until he noticed a huge weight on-top of him, making him look up and see a tall buffed man with blonde hair, body covered in blood.
The two made eye-contact, questioning the sight infront of them.
"Who.. who are you-" Shu was cut off with the man putting his hand on his mouth, cutting whatever he has to say, shushing him as the man slowly looked back, sighing in relief as the portal slowly closed.
The man stood up and grabbed a random towel before wiping himself and the blood with it. "I'm sorry, here take my hand, get up" he then offered his hand to Shu who's still confused but accepted the hand.
And then it hit him, how did this man get here? what's with the portal? did he come from the portal? what's with the blood? why is this man so fine- oops.. got carried away there.
"How did you get here..? what about the portal? why are you.." His words trailed off as he observed the man's facial features, his purple eyes that had a slight glow, his refined nose, his blonde hair and his jacked body covered in tattoos.
"Luca.. Luca Kaneshiro.. you're him.." Shu couldn't believe it, is it really him? the character he made, the character he built purely from his imagination.
The blonde pulled out a gun and pointed it at Shu with no hesitation. "How did you know my name?" Shu closed his eyes in realization that it is the Luca Kaneshiro, he opened his eyes but didn't make eyecontact as he bit his lower lip and pointed at the posters around his room, posters of Luca.
Luca observed the room as his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, lowering the gun and staring at the shorter male infront of him. "What.. does this mean?"
