Clunking his way into the cabin he was forced to call "home" Jack kicked off his shoes and collapsed face first onto the rickety bed, almost immediately regretting it as his glasses pushed into his face. "Ow-! Fuck." He shoved himself up and rolled over onto his back instead. Rubbing the bridge of his nose as he stared up at the dusty support beam of the cabin that had one too many cobwebs. (Seriously are there spiders in the mist because they're already suffering enough as it is.)
"How was last round?" A voice startled Jack as he jolted his head up, only to be met with Elijah leaning on the doorframe. "Jesus, don't sneak up on people." Jack said in a grumpy tone, trying to ignore the fact that Elijah had his hair down. He wasn't complaining though, it somehow made him look even hotter… "Wasn't really sneaking but point taken." Elijah walked over to Jack and sat on the edge of the bed. "Your hair is a mess by the way." Jack rolled his eyes at the comment. "No shit." Elijah let out a sigh and knocked Jack in the ribs with his elbow. "Ow what the fuck dude?!" Jack said, rubbing his rib. "Come on, sit up."
Jack let out a few huffs in protest before finally pulling himself off of the bed. "Now what?" Elijah rested his hands on both of Jack's shoulders, resulting in a small squeak escaping from the latters mouth. "Now, you turn around and let me fix your hair." He gave Jack a small smile, resulting in the corners of Jack's lips curving up ever so slightly. "Yeah, whatever…" Jack shifted so that his back faced the taller man's chest.
As Elijah brushed through Jack's hair with his fingers, he leaned his head over to see his face, only to find it being as bright as a tomato. He let out a soft chuckle at the sight of the smaller man's complexion. "What's so funny?" Jack asked, an annoyed tone underlying his words. "Mmmm? Oh, nothing. How do you want me to do your hair?" "A braid is fine I guess…" Jack mumbled. "Braid it is!" Elijah started separating Jack's hair into sections as he overlapped them one by one. Without realizing, Jack started dozing off a little, his eyes drifting shut every now and then. "It's not easy to braid your hair when you're all wobbly, you know." Jack inhaled sharply as he came back to reality. "S-sorry, m'just tired." Elijah was able to make out about 70% of what he said but he got the idea. "Well, try and stay awake until I finish your hair."
Wrapping a hair tie around the end of the braid, Elijah finally finished the braid. "There ya go delivery boy.." No answer. "...Jack?" He looked down at the man, only to find him leaning against his chest, having fallen asleep. Elijah smiled at the sight and carefully pushed the delivery boy's bangs out of the way as he softly kissed his forehead. Pulling his grey hoodie over the smaller boy.
Who knows, he might let Jack do his hair in the future.
