Chapter Text
You were intoxicating, like a drug. From the moment you stepped on base, introducing yourself in that calm, collected manner, he was hooked. Every waking moment of his day was filled with you, it was agonising, he hated how easily you filled his mind. In the however many months he'd known you, you hadn't even had a proper conversation with him.
But how could he possibly talk to you? Not while your eyes fluttered up at him, begging to be bent over the nearest surface and take him fully. It wasn't his fault, no, it was yours. You were to blame for his insanity.
Did you not know how much your mere existence taunted him? How you sent him into a silent frenzy every time you walked past, savouring the gentle wafting of your perfume. He was slowly being driven to madness. He loved to stare from the shadows as you talked, watching the plump pink flesh of your lips press together before parting wide in a laugh or shout.
If he had been the romantic type, he might have told you that he was like a moth drawn to a flame, but he was not. He loved you like a rabid dog, feral and uninhibited, he wanted to use you, break you, mould you until you knew nothing but the feeling of his name on your lips.
His dreams were no better, there he could fully immerse himself in the experience that was your presence, drinking in imaginary flavours of your tongue devouring with his, imagining running his teeth over bare skin that flared a delicious red under his touch. Watching you squirm beneath him as he evoked sweet cries of pleasure with his fingers. You'd like it, he knew you would, beneath the pure facade he knew you were just as twisted as he was. If not, he'd make you so.
Those dangerously innocent eyes glazed over with tears, meeting his as he pushed you to the brink. There was no doubt, König was utterly obsessed with you. At first, it was controllable. He tried, really tried to limit himself, only trailing loosely behind you now and again, bloodshot eyes burning into the back of your body, hungrily drinking in the sight of you. But he never got close enough to be caught. At least that’s what he told himself. But desire is not a flame easily extinguished. It burns, festers, burrows in his mind like a fucking rat.
And yet he couldn't stop. He didn't want to.
Today was no different, he was sitting idly on a worn couch on base after coming back from a mission, watching, waiting. However, the gnawing pit clambering in his stomach was not. Jealousy was rearing its ugly head once again, staring daggers at you while you chatted up Ghost. Those lips, curled into a perfect smile while you giggled away like a bubbly schoolgirl, who did you think you were? You were his, and the insatiable hunger forming in his veins would stop at nothing until you knew it too.
“Verräter…” König spat venomously.
—
For a while, you were oblivious. König had never expressed any outward interest in you, none that you'd picked up on anyway. Only the occasional small talk or mandatory discussion of their latest mission. If asked, you would have described him as nothing more than an acquaintance, and that made his blood boil.
Though in the past few days, you knew König had been following you around, however long he'd been doing it for remained a mystery to you. His lingering stares were no secret to you but became more noticeable as the months went by. At first, you didn't understand it, was he maybe angry at you? Had you done something to upset him, so much so that he followed you around everywhere you went like a second shadow? But the longer his obsession was left unchecked, the more you noticed you seemed to like it.
You and Ghost continued talking for what seemed like forever, busily swapping funny stories with the occasional teasing jab of the ribs for saying something presumably unsavoury. Though, even distracted, you could feel König's eyes boring holes into you, sensing the imminent rage from his unwavering gaze.
König's anger was consuming him from the inside out. He couldn't stand the sight of you laughing, flirting, and enjoying yourself with Ghost. How dare you? How dare you show any interest in someone other than him? He was the one who had been watching, observing, longing for you. You were meant to be his, and his alone.
As Ghost's laughter reached your ears, König couldn't hold back any longer. His hands clenched into tight fists at his sides, his knuckles turning white against the dark fabric of his combat gloves. His breath came out in short, heavy bursts, a mixture of anger and jealousy threatening to suffocate him. Tension in the air was palpable as König's gaze bore into you. He was ready to do anything, anything necessary, to make sure you didn't slip through his fingers.
"Hey, did you want to go grab lunch with me?" König's whole body tensed. Surely you would say no, refuse him, you have to. His eyes remained fixated on you, waiting to hear your response, resisting the urge to charge over and grab one of you by the neck. Who he grabbed was not important, whichever was closest he decided, yours was smaller, and he bet that his whole hand could wrap around it and then some. You'd look so pretty with the bruises of his fingers burned into you, blooming dark purple clouds that stood out on your delicate skin. Gorgeous.
Your eyes flickered up to meet Ghosts again, slightly taken aback by his offer. They got along but your mind was rather... preoccupied at the moment. "Uh, actually no sorry, I've still got to clean my gear," It wasn't technically a lie. But it was an escape. An escape from König's eyes, his presence, everything about him that sent uncomfortable heat to bubble in your core.
You fought with yourself internally as you made your way to the armoury, your mind and body were screaming two different things. You could feel a sick desire festering and building up inside you. This wasn't right, you shouldn't feel like this, you shouldn't like this. You resisted the urge to confront König about his stalking. It felt like such an ugly word to use, but even he knew that what he was doing was borderline harassment. You weren't sure of how he'd react, he was your Colonel for fucks sake, but this had to stop.
Ironically enough, König had been filling your mind as well, though only for the last few days when you had first noticed his lingering presence.
You gripped the handle of the armoury, trying to calm your racing heart as your mind slowly started to sink into the filthiest of places. Every time you'd caught him staring, your body ached, and your breath picked up, it was unbearable. For days you'd been stuck imagining what went through his mind, what he was imagining when he looked at you, when his eyes raked over your body so obviously you were baffled at how you hadn't noticed it before.
—
König watched you as you excused yourself from Ghost's company. His eyes followed your every movement, darkening with a mix of possessiveness, desire, and anger. He knew he couldn't let you slip away now, not when he was so close to fulfilling his obsession. Maybe it was just his imagination, as twisted as it was, but he swore he could see the corner of your lips twitch into a small repressed smile as they briefly locked eyes.
As you walked towards the weapons room, König's mind raced with conflicting thoughts. Part of him wanted to trap you, to demand your attention and make you see that you belonged to him. Another part of him, the more rational part, realized that scaring you away would only push you further from his grasp. And he couldn't have that.
His fists clenched tighter, his nails digging into the skin of his palms. He could already feel the heat pooling in his groin, a mix of arousal and frustration, as his mind spiralled down the darkest fantasies. What would it feel like to have you under his control, completely at his mercy? The thought sent a shudder of pleasure through his whole body, but he knew he needed to tread carefully.
As you entered the armoury, the thick metal door closing behind you, a shiver ran down your spine.
The silence enveloped you.
It wrapped around you like a snake, devouring any barriers you'd so desperately tried to form between you and your thoughts, forcing you to face the harsh reality that you had begun to enjoy his stares, that you got off to his obsession.
A part of you hoped that König would follow, that he would embrace you and fulfil the dark desires that swirled within. But the other part feared the intensity that lay behind his alluring eyes. Oh god, those eyes.
Your hands trembled as you reached for your cleaning kit, trying to distract yourself from the thoughts that were consuming you. Images flashed before your eyes—König's forceful grip on your throat, his dominating presence, the growl of his voice, the feeling of his firm hands on your body. It took every ounce of self-control not to slip a hand into your panties and satisfy your raging fantasies. You were alone. Surely no one would notice.
You snapped yourself out of it as you caught your fingers twitching over the hem of your pants. "What the fuck am I doing?" You muttered, running a hand over your face and through your hair, trying to dismiss the restlessness stored up inside.
But in the midst of this storm of conflicting emotions, a voice whispered in the back of your mind, warning you of the dangers that lurked beneath König's gaze. With each passing second as you begrudgingly cleaned your weapons, you found yourself drawn deeper into the darkness, the lines between fantasy and reality beginning to blur. It was sick, twisted, and forbidden, but a part of you craved it. A part of you wanted to surrender to the madness that König provoked within you.
König couldn't resist the pull any longer. He couldn't bear the thought of leaving you alone, even for a second, of you surrendering to the darkness within without his presence. Missing all the small moments that went unnoticed even by you—No, he couldn't have that.
The door to the weapons room creaked open slowly, revealing his towering figure framed by the dim light that filtered in from the corridor.
His eyes locked onto yours, the object of his obsession, a mix of longing and hunger swirling within them. Without a word, he closed the distance between you, his heavy footsteps echoing through the room. The anticipation was thick in the air as he approached, his fingers twitching with the desire to claim you.
He watched as your eyes snapped up to meet his, revelling in the way they widened as you took in his full stature. He would have loved to hear your heart in that moment, he knew it was beating fast, how could it not? Whether it was out of fear or yearning didn't matter to him, only the fact that his presence evoked a reaction. Would it have sounded like a hummingbird? Trapped in the cage you called your ribs? Maybe he should just rip it out of your chest to see for himself.
He loved the way you were staring at him, keeping your eyes trained on him as he closed the distance like you would an enemy in the field. Dangerous.
—
The tension between you stole the breath from your lungs, squeezing and constricting the hesitation that whispered in the back of your mind until it disappeared, leaving you completely defenceless against your desires. No matter how wrong they seemed.
Your eyes focused on him as he stood close, too close, your gaze followed his hand as it reached out to brush against your cheek, a surge of electricity shot through your body, flinching back instinctively as the rough fabric of his glove caressed your skin. You could feel the dominance radiating off him, his unyielding aura consuming you, pulling you into his world of darkness and pleasure.
A twisted smile played across his lips, revealing a glimmer of his dark desires. His presence was overwhelming, filling every corner of the room. His voice, husky and thick, cut through the silence. "Meine Geliebte, what thoughts have you been entertaining in this room of sin?"
Your mind was screaming at you to run, your fight or flight instincts sending adrenaline to course through your veins, but you didn't care, you wanted this. The rush of danger he presented only made you want him more. You took a chance, angling your face into his touch, subtle enough to be dismissed as nothing if he so desired, but also ignite a dark, yearning fire within them both.
"I don't know what you mean Colonel," you replied softly, feigning innocence as depraved images floated behind your eyes.
He was practically on top of you now, a predator closing in on his prey, his fingers moving to cup the side of your face. Any closer and you'd be able to brush your lips against his, your body tingled at the thought of it. The room seemed to shrink, the air growing heavy with tension. König's gaze penetrated deep into your soul, stripping away any pretence or resistance.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that question?" You stared up at him through your eyelashes, he seemed even larger when you were sitting down. You wondered how tall he'd seem when you were on your knees.
"You have a staring problem, sir." You taunted, the title rolled off your tongue like honey, thicker than usual, you liked the way it sounded coming from your lips. The familiar burn thrashed around in your stomach, aching to be satisfied.
König's breath hitched in his throat as your words wrapped around the air, dripping with a seductive challenge. His eyes narrowed, a flicker of irritation crossing his features at your audacity. His grip tightened slightly on your cheek, a mixture of pleasure and possessiveness taking hold.
A low chuckle vibrated through his chest, the sound laced with dark amusement.
"Oh, my dear, you have no idea what you're inviting," he murmured, his voice husky and filled with promise.
"Staring problem? Nein." He chuckled, shaking his head softly, "I have an obsession problem. And you, meine Geliebte, are the object of my obsession."
He towered over you, his presence filled your senses until there was nothing else but him. Every fibre of his being was focused on you, fully aware of the power dynamics at play, the electricity that crackled between you. König's voice dropped to a low, commanding whisper, hot breath washing over your skin. "You've awakened something within me, something dark and primal. A thirst that can only be quenched by claiming you as mine."
The possessiveness in his words sent a thrill up your spine, intensifying the heat that burned within you. In that moment, there was no denying the magnetic pull between them, the realisation that you wanted his dominance as much as he wanted control.
You inched your face towards him, your warm breath fluttered over the hood of his sniper mask as your tongue snaked over your lips, now glistening with moisture as they ghosted over the dark fabric. Your gaze never left his, something that he enjoyed immensely, those untamed eyes of yours drove him mad.
He wanted to watch you break.
"Show me how much you crave me then." You whispered, not bothering to attempt to hide your lust, letting the festering feeling consume you. If you had become sick and depraved, then you'd gladly be sick and depraved with him. For him.
—
König's grip tightened on your cheek, his eyes burning into yours with an intensity that made your insides quiver. A predatory smile played on his lips as he leaned in, his voice a low, seductive growl.
"Oh, my sweet victim of desire," he murmured, his breath mingling with yours. "You have no idea what you're asking for."
With a swift motion, he lifted his mask over his nose, revealing the scars that marred his face. His features were twisted, a reflection of the horrors he had endured. But something was captivating in his vulnerability, in his willingness to expose himself to you. His cool, icy-blue eyes bore into yours, searching for any trace of hesitation.
There wasn't.
He struck with a sudden, carnivorous ferocity, his hand slipped behind your head to tangle in your hair, pulling you closer. His lips crashed against yours with desperate hunger, melding together in a passionate frenzy. The kiss was a tumultuous blend of dominance and submission, desire and possession. His tongue danced with yours, exploring, claiming every inch of your mouth, leaving no doubts about his intentions.
König's free hand roamed over your body, igniting trails of fire in his wake. He caressed, squeezed, and claimed you with an unyielding grip. The fabric of your clothing was no barrier to his touch, as he traced his fingers along the curves of your body, teasing and taunting.
