It's finally Saturday and it's a Saturday both me and Katsuki have off! And yet we are both just sitting in my room. Not really doing much of anything honestly I'm worried just us sitting in each other's arms and reading manga isn't enough for Katsuki and they deserve a better day off then just sitting in my room bored.
I started to shift and move around a lot as the guilt ate away at me. I just feel so bad we are doing nothing. I finally just pushed his blanket off of me and put my book away.
“Hey Kats?” I say as I look up at him from where my head is laying on his lap.
“Hmm?” He hums as he moves his glasses up just the tiniest bit up his nose.
“I uh I just want to um are you sure this is okay” I say as I start to shift in his lap.
“Is what okay? You on my lap? Your fine shitty hair or are you uncomfortable?”
“No, I'm fine, I'm comfortable. I ment is it okay that we aren't doing anything today? it’s our day off and we haven’t had a day off together in ages, shouldn't we be spending the whole day like a date?”
Katsuki just hums as he continues playing with my hair.
“I see nothing wrong with this. I actually prefer this but if you're bored we can go out and do something as long as it’s not shitty. Make sure that it’s just me and you, no idiot brigade, okay!”
I realise as I look at Katsuki that he's not making an effort to get up. As he continues to read his manga and seeing the way the light is hitting his face, maybe being “bored” was definitely better.
“Nevermind Kats, can I just have a kiss and we can continue to snuggle and read okay?”
“You don’t have to ask for a kiss Ei but yeah I’m okay with that plan” Kats says as he moves to give me a kiss.
It’s slow and gentle and every bit as sweet as Katsuki is to me.
“Kats I love you”
“I love you two Ei now next time you think we need to be doing something together just know that sometimes we need a day off from everything. Also being with you is my favourite thing. We can be busy doing something every minute or just staring at a wall watching paint dry. As long as you're with me it will be my favourite day” Kats says as he puts his hand on my cheek and gives me a quick kiss.
“Your the best you know that I don’t know how I got so lucky”
“I know I’m the best but when it comes to the two of us I’m the lucky one Ei”
Katsuki goes back to the way he was sitting on the bed and grabs his book again. This was definitely the better thing to do today because I can see now the way he visibly relaxes and how calm he is.
I guess I shouldn’t have been worried that he would have thought what we are doing today to be boring. I should have realised just how much he loves being with me and just me. It’s almost as much as I love being with him.
“By the way Ei”
“Yeah Kats?”
“What do you want for dinner tonight?” Kats asks as he looks at his phone.
“Oh I don’t care love, as long as you stay right here with me” I say as I hug his waist and bury my head into his lap more.
“YOU CAN'T SERIOUSLY EXPECT ME TO COOK WITH YOU LIKE THIS ON ME LATER!”
“No you're right I’ll help you cook!”
“That’s fine you have been getting better at cooking, just let me deal with the meat you almost made the meat into charcoal last time” Katsuki says as he puts his glasses and book to the side.
“That’s fine with me Kats but can we stay like this just a little bit longer your comfy!” As I hug his waist tighter.
“Okay Ei just let me get comfy again and we can have a late dinner” Katsuki grabs his asses and goes back to reading.
I got comfortable again and started to close my eyes as Katsuki started to play with my hair. As I start to drift off to sleep all I can think is.
Boring days are my favourite days with Katsuki.
