"Gin, I want you to come with me somewhere!" Higuchi exploded into the phone line.
"Where?" Gin asked hurriedly, wondering what their superior could want from them at twelve in the afternoon.
"The mall at xxxx," Higuchi said happily as she hung up, cutting off Gin's question. The younger Akutagawa sibling just sighed and went to get their work clothes on before heading off.
'It's my day off, why am I expected to work again?' Gin mentally loathed as they walked to the mall, only to be met with a surprised look from their boss.
"Gin, did I call you at a bad time? Were you on a job?" Higuchi asked worriedly as she rushed over to Gin, shocking them.
"You didn't call me here for a job?" They asked, disbelief obvious in their features.
"No silly! It's just we both had the day off and I wanted to spend it with you!" Higuchi whined as she slipped Gin's mask from their face and planted a kiss on their lips. Gin's brain was practically short circuiting as they processed what Higuchi said and did.
"So this is like… girlfriend stuff, not boss stuff?" They asked as they looked at the blonde.
"Yep! And you are lucky I decided to bring an extra pair of clothes for you," She said as she fished a pair of jeans and a cropped t-shirt from her bag, making Gin wonder how fucking big that bag was inside. "Here!"
Higuchi waited for her lover outside the bathroom door as Gin changed. The moment she saw them her hands were on their stomach and waist. The blonde slipped Gin's original clothes into her bag and the two went to walk around the mall for a bit.
"Higuchi?" Gin asked as they gently tugged on the woman's hand. "Can we go over there?" They gingerly pointed to the food court as they heard their stomach rumble slightly from not being fed in a few hours.
"Of course! Come on!" Higuchi was back to full energy as she pulled her partner to the appetizing smells.
Gin got some ramen while Higuchi had some udon and after they went to get some mochi.
When they finally started to walk home Gin felt revitalized after three weeks of straight work and they could tell Higuchi felt the same as she held them against her side.
At Higuchi's house they sat around on the bed, gently kissing as the woman's hands roamed over Gin's body. Gin sighed happily as they felt Higuchi's hands rub over their waist and hips. They placed their own hands on the blonde's ribcage and tried to deepen the kiss only to be met with resistance.
"Gin, are you not tired?" Higuchi asked as she pulled away from the person lightly nipping at her lip.
"Kinda," Gin responded as they laid their head on Higuchi's chest, slightly stuffing their face between her breasts.
"Well then, we'll wait until tomorrow," Higuchi bopped their nose with the tip of her finger before cuddling Gin close.
