,,Is there really a need for you to go?“ Joshua asked the man whos about to get ready for work, which just sighed annoyed ,,Yes I do. I‘m already almost 2 hours late to work.“ and Jeonghan was right, he was 2 hours late as he saw the messages on his phone.
He looked back at the naked man which still layed in bed ,,You should get up to, when I‘m late you‘re also late. Or did you forget that you work for my husband?“ this was the last thing Jeonghan said the other male before he left the Apartment and rushed to his car.
He couldn‘t believe he really spend 2 hours at Joshua's place cheating on his husband of 3 years. Well it‘s not the first time Jeonghan cheated within these 3 years of marriage since his husband doesn‘t really has time for him but even if it‘s not the first time, how do you explain to your boss and husband, you been 2 hours late to work when you also left the house first?
After 45 minutes Jeonghan finally arrived at the company and rushed into the office, but then he arrived his husband wasn‘t there. ,,Did he got tired of waiting for me and went home?“ thought to himself. This thought of his got canceled as fast as it came to his mind when he heared the office door being closed with a loud noise. ,,How pleasing to see my husband after being 3 hours late. Where the fuck were you!?“. Jeonghan knew he fucked up after being greeted like that, he slowly turned around to face his boss.
,,Cheolie..I can explain everything. Just calm down a bit first and drink the coffee I bought you! I..I also got you cupcake!!“ Seungcheol looked at him and slowly went to his desk to sit down. ,,I hope you have a good explanation. You may be my husband but that doesn‘t mean you can just come late whenever you like. It‘s the third time this week Jeonghan.“ and it was odd for Jeonghan being late so often. Especially since Jeonghan hated late comer himself. The said man carefully placed the coffee and the cupcake infront of his husband and took a deep breath.
,,There was an accident!“ ,,An accident?“ ,,Yep an accident!“.
Seungcheol looked at Jeonghan with confusion ,,We take the same route to work and I barely got out of the house 30 minutes after you. There was no accident.“ Jeonghan laughed a bit ,,Not on that route! When I went to get you some coffee and an cupcake from your favorite shop.“ Silence. Seungcheol thought for a moment but when smiles and nods. ,,Then I can forgive you for coming late my Darling.“
The lie from the younger one worked.
Jeonghan slowly went to his own desk and just fell into his chair. He couldn‘t believe this stupid lie of his worked, well yes Seungcheol can‘t confirm there couldn‘t be an accident but that doesn‘t explain why Jeonghan didn‘t answer him for 2 hours. ,,He must has forgotten about that. His schedule was pretty busy this morning but still Seungcheol is not stupid or something. Was I careless and he got some clues about my affair with Joshua?“ His eyes slowly went to his husband, who was already back into his beloved work and couldn‘t careless anymore about the late coming.
And oh, how Jeonghan hated that. So since his husband didn't care about him anymore, he took out his phone and wrote his best friend.

After this Jeonghan went offline, without texting his best friend his original matter of why he texted him in the first place. Only because his best friend was right, he wanted to end his thing with Joshua but he just couldn't bring himself to do so. Why? Because Jeonghan loved the affection he got from his coworker, that he longed for since many months. Don't get Jeonghan wrong he felt terrible that he cheated on Seungcheol, but at the same he doesn't felt so. He longed so long for affection which his husband stopped giving him since he was busy with the Agency.
,,He didn't even thanked me for bringing him an coffee.." pouted Jeonghan in his thoughts before he finally started to work. Trying to ignore the little sting in his heart and the messages from his best friend.
