Chapter 1: Want

Chapter Text

It has been several weeks since Leon was in Spain on his mission. He was still surprised he made it out of there alive. He was even more surprised to find out that Luis was still alive and made it off of the island in one piece. Leon suspected Ada helped him out of there. But now the Spaniard was living with him in his small apartment in the city. Luis could hardly go back to his old life and Leon felt in a giving mood. Consider it repayment for the help he gave him with the antidote.

They grew closer over the past weeks, picking up the sexual tension where they left off. They ended up exchanging a few kisses and having a particularly steamy night after cracking open one too many beers.

“Ey Leon? What did you do with the coffee?” Luis rummaged through the messy cabinets in Leon’s kitchen.

“Top shelf,” Leon grumbled focusing on some paperwork laid out on his desk.

“Gracias,” Leon watched as Luis reached up to grab the container, his white shirt hitching up and exposing the tan expanse of his lower back. Leon averted his eyes and scribbled nonsense down on his work.

“Your focused face is very sexy,” Luis leaned on the counter and tilted his head.

“Shut up I’m trying to get this finished,” The agent flicked his eyes up to him and frowned.

“Once I get my coffee I’ll get out of your beautifully styled hair don’t you worry,” Luis winked and poured the freshly brewed coffee into his takeaway cup.

“Where are you going?” Leon sat up a bit straighter and set his pen down.

“Oh suddenly so interested eh? I’m going to the mall. Need new clothes. As much as I like borrowing yours, your trousers are a bit too tight on the jewels,” he pulled a heavy coat on instead of the ugly excuse of a jacket he always had over his shoulders.

“Alright…be careful,”

“I’m always careful guapo. Later.” Luis disappeared out the apartment door.

The apartment was suddenly very quiet. It was what Leon was used to after being a bachelor for many years. But having Luis about brightened the place up, it wasn’t silent and his bellowing laugh filled every corner of the room he was in.
God did Leon miss him? He just left! Leon shook his head and ran a hand through his hair. He shouldn’t be getting attached. Nothing good ever happened when Leon got attached to someone.

The agent looked over to the hideous jacket Luis had left behind and before he could register what he was doing, he was up on his feet going over to it.

He smoothed his fingers over the detailing on it, his fingertips trailing over the textured leather that ran over it. Leon pulled it on. He wanted to be close to him. Luis’ scent was strong on it. Had the guy even cleaned the thing since Spain? Leon pushed that thought to the back of his mind.

It smelt of cigarettes and the hints of aftershave he used. It was a soft peppery cinnamon smell that was overpowered by musk. Leon hated to admit anytime he smelt the cologne his heart would start beating just that little bit faster.

He held the lapels of the coat close to himself and inhaled deeply. The heavy jacket was good at grounding him. The smell of Luis made him feel safe. It was slightly oversized on the shoulders and waist, Luis was just that bit broader than him. And he liked that. Leon closed his eyes and held the jacket close to himself as his breathing calmed.

Just then the apartment door opened again and Luis came barging in, “I forgot my…” he trailed off and let his eyes flicker over what he saw before him. “…my lighter.”

“I- I was just-“

“You missed me that much already?” Luis tilted his head and smirked at him.

Leon felt his cheeks flush red as he sank a bit further into the jacket, “Don’t flatter yourself,”

“I think its cute,” Luis stepped closer to him and fixed the lapels on the jacket. “It makes it look like you’re mine,”

Leon couldn’t even form a snarky come back before Luis tugged him forward into a deep kiss. He felt his chapped lips move against Luis’ softer ones. A small moan escaped his lips. Leon rarely lost control but he simply couldn’t handle being around Luis. He pushed his buttons in all the right ways.

“So eager hermoso,” Luis pulled back as Leon’s lips chased after him. “I got somewhere to be remember?”

“Stay.”

“Is that an order?” Luis poked the centre of his chest and slowly trailed his finger down to his navel.

Leon shivered and watched the other man with those powder blue eyes of his. He drove him crazy. He simply couldn’t keep it together around him as much as he wanted to. And he hated it.

“I’ll do the ordering around here from now on…is that okay with you Agent Kennedy?” Luis circled his hands around his waist as Leon gave some hurried eager nods.

“Good boy,” he reached up and pat Leons now flushed cheek. “Over to the sofa. Take off everything…except for the jacket.”

Leon opened his mouth to protest but stopped himself. He watched as Luis moved away from him and sat down on the soft sofa with his legs spread apart.

The spaniard lit a cigarette and inhaled before releasing a cloud of smoke into the air.

“Don’t be shy mi querido, I’ll take good care of you. Promise.” Luis shot him one of those alluring smirks he had grown accustomed to.

“You’re too goddamn cocky,” Leon averted his eyes from him.

“And you love it.”

Leon stalked over to face Luis on the sofa shucking off the jacket around him and casting it aside. “I’m not wearing your stupid jacket.”

“Hey two seconds ago you had your face buried in it longing for my return,” Luis exhaled another cloud of smoke and grinned up at him.

The blonde sat on the spaniards lap his two legs straddling either side of him, his hair fell into his face as he peered down at the man before him.

“Why so quiet now eh?” Luis tilted his head.

“I…really like you Luis.”

“…is that a problem?”

“Of course it’s a problem. You’ve been a distraction since I met you in that hell hole of a village…”

Luis watched him with dark eyes as he voiced his concerns.

“And you’re still distracting me now. And I’m just not used to it because no one has ever stuck around with me for this long. Anyone I like…they always leave.”

“I know the feeling. I really do. Ex partners just saw me as a fun night and nothing more. They’d be gone the next morning with not even a note left behind,” Luis would shrug.

“At least you have experience. I’ve only kissed Ada a few times. And that night when we-“

“No…” Luis gasped. “That was your first time?”

“Well I haven’t had any time to get busy in between a goddamn zombie outbreak and training to be an agent,” Leon flushed a deeper red.

“I’m honoured. Honestly,” he put a hand on his chest.

“So yeah. That’s all I had to say.” Leon looked away and sighed.

“Good talk…” Luis smiled up at him. “Now. I think we should take it to the bedroom instead eh? I want your second time to not be on a creaky sofa,”

Leon let out a little breathless laugh and shook his head, “I think I’d like that,”

Luis circled his hands around Leon’s waist and lifted him up, Leon instinctively wrapped his legs around the other man holding on tight.

“Woah!”

“Onwards!”
