Work Text:
Rhaenyra climbed onto Daemon’s lap, her eyelashes fluttering, her violet eyes looking straight to his lips, “you want to claim your victory prize now, princess?” Daemon asked slyly. Rhaenyra bit her lips and nodded softly.
“Answer me with your word, princess; I want to hear it.”
Blush colored her cheekbones, “I want my prize, Uncle.” Her violet eyes darken with need, “I want you to kiss me.” She almost whispered.
Daemon smiled as he brushed his thumb over Rhaenyra’s cherry-pink plump lip. “My pretty princess, my sweet princess,” Daemon murmurs on top of her lips and makes her shiver in his embrace.
“Uncle…”
“Ssshh…sweet love, don’t rush it; Uncle Daemon will take care of you, yeah?” He shushes her.
“Mmmm…” she moaned when Daemon's lips finally met her, and his hands were firm on the back of her neck, brushing the sensitive spot behind her ear that he knew so well there.
“My sweet princess always tastes so sweet to her uncle.”
“Uncle…” she moaned his name breathlessly.
“needy, aren’t you, sweetheart?” Daemon chuckles, “open up, sweetheart; let me taste you, my sweet princess.”
Rhaenyra eagerly opened her mouth enough to let Daemon explore her mouth with his tongue; her moan was sweet, just like her taste on his tongue.
Daemon finally breaks their kisses, “you need to go back to your room, my love.” Daemon kisses her forehead.
“I don’t want to go,” Rhaenyra said sadly.
Daemon placed another kiss on her cheek, “I know, my love, but you should.” He kisses their twin flame mark behind Rhaenyra's right ear.
Rhaenyra brushes her forefinger or Daemon’s mark behind his left ear, “ Avy jorrāelan issa idañnykeā perzys. ” Rhaenyra said so sweetly as she pressed her forehead upon his.
Daemon closed his eyes, “ Hae avy jorrāelan, issa idañnykeā perzys. ”
Daemon stared at the secrets passages door of his room where Rhaenyra left; an indescribable emptiness choked him; he hoped Rhaenyra didn’t feel the same, although he knew otherwise, their bond would grow stronger each day passed, soon it would be hard to conceal, Demon sigh looks like he must proceed his plan faster now.
He wondered how a harmless curiosity of a girl of four and ten could stir him into sweet diabolical madness like this.
It started when Rhaenyra presented him with an ancient Valyrian scroll, a story about Idañnykeā perzys, a twin flame legend of old Valyria in the common tongue. They called it Soulmate.
“ Uncle, look, the scroll said; if idañnykeā perzys do this ritual together, Gods will bestow them with a mark that will appear on their body, proof that their soul is bonded,” Rhaenyra said with gleaming eyes.
“And what if not.” Daemon teases her.
“The mark simply won’t be appearing.” She answered. “Can we try it, uncle?”
“You want to know if you’ve bonded with your old uncle?”
Rhaenyra pouted, “you’re not old, and yes, I want to know.”
Daemon chuckles while fondling Rhaenyra’s inflated cheek, “why not try it with your brother? You’re going to marry him, not me.”
Rhaenyra pout even more, “I only want to try it with you, uncle!”
Daemon chuckles, “Okay, okay, we will try it tomorrow, hmm? Don’t pout like that, my love; you will hurt your cheek.”
Rhaenyra finally deflated her cheek and smiled at him, “we need couples items for the ritual….”
“I’m listening,”
“Are you sure you want to do this with me, sweet princess?” Daemon asked again before he lit the red candles that surrounded them.
“Uncle, I swear if you ask again, I’ll feed you to Syrax.”
“Okay, okay.” Daemon chuckles while lit up the candles, “now what?”
Rhaenyra binds their hands with wine-red silk ribbons. “Don’t let go of my hand until the ritual ends.” She warns him.
Daemon reminds himself not to laugh over this child's play, “I won't, my dear.” He swore.
“Now, we need to read this together,” Rhaenyra told him while showing the parchment with old rites written on it.
Daemon and Rhaenyra chant the old text slowly together, Daemon has no idea what it’s about, but he does recognize Maeyls, the goddess of love's name, and something about twin flames.
When they finished the last word, all the candles suddenly died; before Daemon could say anything, the candles suddenly lit again and blazed ferociously, the fire soaring so high until it reached the cavern's roof; Daemon quickly pulled Rhaenyra to his embrace to protect her. “Fuck.” He cursed when a sudden burning sting hit the back of his ear; Rhaenyra was no different; she wailed in pain while covering her right ear.
The candles finally died down, and silence fell upon them.
“Sweetheart, are you okay?” Daemon asks.
“the back of my ear hurts so bad,” Rhaenyra said with tears in her eyes; Daemon quickly checked it and found a fresh branding wound in the shape of a dragon head; the surrounding flesh was still red.
Daemon touched the back of his left ear, and his finger traced upon a similar branding mark, “Fuck.” He gasped.
“What is it, uncle?” Ask Rhaenyra in confusion.
Daemon's head spun; this ritual was natural, not mere child's play; he exhaled deeply before kneeling in front of Rhaenyra and letting her see the mark behind his left ear, “I think we bonded, Rhaenyra.” Daemon said slowly; he didn’t want to startle his precious niece.
“I knew it!” She exclaimed, “I know you’re my twin flame!” She said in immense joy.
“Rhaenyra—”
Rhaenyra did not allow Daemon to finish his word; she cupped his cheek and quickly pressed her lips upon his, “We’re bonded, uncle! the Gods show it; you’re mine as I’m yours.” She said while smiling beautifully.
Daemon can’t help but smile with her, “I am yours as you’re mine, my heart.” He said before pulling her into his embrace.
Ever since Daemon planned their future more carefully, he could not just elope with Rhaenyra; she had been promised to her twin brother, Aemond, she would be the future queen of the seven kingdoms. If he takes her and goes without any preparation, his brother and his nephew will chase them till the end of the world. He didn’t want that kind of life for Rhaenyra; his sweet princess didn’t deserve life on the run like some common criminals; she deserved to be queen, and if she could not become Queen of seven kingdoms, well he just needed to create a kingdom for her isn’t?
Truthfully Daemon's plan was started even before Rhaenyra and him bonded on the ritual; as she said, she knew that he was her twin flame; Daemon knew that too when the first time his brother put her on his arm, and that violet eyes stare right through his heart, he knew she was his. He knew he would do anything for her, kill her, and even burn the world for her. At first, all Daemon wants is to be as close as possible with Rhaenyra and spend all the time they had until she finally marries her twin brother and becomes queen of the seven kingdoms; but now, after the Gods grant them their twin flame mark, Daemon thought all hard work he is doing this far was worth every sweat the drop.
His plan starts with making Rhea Royce, his bronze bitch barren; Daemon cannot forget the joy he felt when the maester proclaimed that his lady wife was barren and could not carry a child in her deserted womb, the poison master from Essos was true to his word his poison was worth every gold that Daemon spend. Finally, just finally, he is free from doing his dreadful husband duty to fuck her sheep of a wife.
His brother has pitted him, of course, with his foolish softhearted brother, Viserys offered to annul the marriage so he could marry again to another highborn lady, but of course, Daemon declined; he just managed to free from one prison. Why the fuck he wants to jump into the new one? He will play a pitiful husband who defends the honor of his barren lady wife, well, only until he doesn’t need the house of Royce resources anymore, of course.
The second plan was even more thrilling for Daemon, the unfortunate death of Viserys trusted friend Otto Hightower; no one suspected that the robbery gone wrong was staged; the thrill Daemon felt when his blade sank upon the leech heart was unparalleled, the way light died on his eyes that look at him with full of terror was the most delightful memory that Daemon would never forget.
And as he predicted, Viserys's renewed love and sympathy for Daemon and Viserys’ sadness of losing a dear friend made Viserys appoint Daemon as the new Hand of the King.
Of course, everything would be simpler if Daemon had just killed Viserys and Aemond and taken the throne by force, but Rhaenyra wouldn’t like it, despise him, and it was the last thing he wanted was Rhaenyra’s happiness and her love.
Daemon was relaxing peacefully with Rhaenyra under the Weirwood tree shade when Aemond approached them.
“Good morrow, Brother!” Rhaenyra greeted his brother without even bothering to stand up from her current position; she was lying on thick blankets and using Daemon’s thigh as her pillow.
“Good morrow, dear sister.” Answered Aemond with a smile.
The smile vanished when Aemond's gaze turned to Daemon, “Uncle.” He greeted Daemon sourly.
Daemon chuckled, “nephew.” He answered while running his finger through Rhaenyra’s hair.
Aemond immediately scowled upon seeing, “don’t you think you overstayed again, uncle? I think your lady's wife will be sad; she needs all support she needs in troubled times like these. You don’t think so?” Ask Aemond.
Daemon places his forefinger upon Rhaenyra’s lips to silence his sweet princess protest before throwing a smirk at Aemond, “oh, you haven’t heard, do you?” He asked.
Aemond swallowed hard, “about what?”
Daemon grinned at Aemond; he pulled the Hand of The King pin from his pocket, flashing it at Aemond before putting it on his doublet, “Your father made me his Hand this morning,”
Daemon chuckles in amusement when he sees Aemond turn pale like a ghost.
In contrast to her twin brother, Rhaenyra squeals in delight; she quickly rises, kneeling beside Daemon, “Really, uncle?! That means you will stay at King’s Landing with us, never to leave again?!” She asks.
Daemon lifts Rhaenyra to kiss her cheek, “yes, my sweetheart, there’s no need for me to leave again.” He kissed her other cheek, “I’ll stay until you grow bored of me, sweet love.”
“I’m so happy!” Rhaenyra shouts while wrapping his arm around Daemon's neck, “I will never be bored of you, uncle!” She said, making Daemon chuckle in amusement.
“You sure you didn’t want to marry again, brother?” Ask Viserys out of the blue when they are having lunch together after small council meetings. “You could choose any highborn lady you want; I wouldn’t interfere; I would like to see you happy with your own family,m you know.”
“I’m fine, brother.” Daemon smiled. “Rhaenyra was enough for me to dote on, and I don’t think leaving my lady wife or taking a second wife in Rhea's current state was wise; Runestone’s Maester told me that my lady wife's depression is going worse lately.”
Viserys patted Daemon's shoulders proudly, “I’m so proud of you, brother, you really matured beyond my expectations, and I pray to god for my good sister's fast recovery.”
“Thank you, brother,” Daemon smiled again, “I cannot be your troublemaker forever.
Viserys laughed delightfully.
Daemon wasn't surprised when he found Rhaenyra waiting for him inside his room, “uncle…” her beautiful princess called him sadly.
Daemon quickly sat beside her before hauling her onto his lap, “my heart, What saddens you?” He asked. She slowly showed her bruised knuckles; Daemon drew an angry breath “who?!” He asks angrily.
“Septa Anella…”Rhaenyra sobs, “She kept saying I made wrong stitches in the embroidery class, she made me redo my works, I got angry and threw my embroidery to the ground, she said that not how a future queen should behave, and she punished me in front of other young ladies.”
Daemon carefully placed kisses upon the bruises, hoping his kiss could make it slightly better, “don’t listen to that whore; you do only what makes you happy, my love.”
Rhaenyra giggled, “Septa never laid with men, uncle; how could they become a whore?” Rhaenyra ask.
Daemon smiled, “one doesn’t need to get laid to become a whore, my sweet princess.”
“What kind of logic is that?” Rhaenyra laugh.
“Mine?” Daemon smiled.
Rhaenyra snorted; she wrapped her hand around Daemon and snuggled to him; Daemon stroke Rhaenyra’s back slowly while remembering the septa's name.
Septa Anella was found dead the following day, with a broken neck at the bottom of the royal sept stair.
Daemon makes sure he closes the door behind him before uncovering his hood.
“My prince.” Greet Mysaria with her signature slurtty smile.
“How is the plan doing,” asks Daemon.
“As good as you predicted, my prince. Without Hightower and you as Hand of The King, everything was going as smooth as butter.”
“Good.” Daemon smiled. Honestly, he was disappointed with his nephew, turns out Aemond Targaryen is not as bright as people thought he was.
Mysaria pulls out a box from her secret compartment and gives it to Daemon before leaving him alone.
Daemon carefully skimmed through his secret correspondence; he burned and kept some. After he’s done, he poured himself a goblet of wine and drank it slowly, enjoying the taste while looking at the King's Landing night view from the window, “Just a little bit more.” He murmured to himself.
Daemon clenched his jaw when he saw Aemond climb down from Vhagar's back; he was even more furious when he saw Rhaenyra congratulating her twin brother with a warm hug and kiss on the cheek; his innocent niece didn’t understand the consequences that both of them will face after this, they can no longer have their private time, Daemon bet now Aemond will follow them everywhere when he and Rhaenyra go flying together.
“We have to celebrate this! My son! The crown prince had claimed Vhagar!” Viserys exclaimed.
Daemon tried his best to smile, “yes, brother, we should,”
“Now we can fly together, Idaña.” Aemond said to Rhaenyra. But his gaze and smirk were directed to Daemon.
A little piece of shit — Daemon cursed internally.
“Yes! I cannot wait to fly alongside you and Vhagar, brother!” Rhaenyra answered excitedly.
Daemon exhaled deeply; he hated Aemond. No, Daemon despises his nephew, not only because Rhaenyra was promised to him since birth, but because his stupid brother named his nephew after him, Daemon and Aemond; what a fucking joke, his nephew was not him! That piece of shit was granted everything that Daemon did not, the crown on his head, the kingdom, everything that Daemon couldn’t have; his jealousy was ugly, and the only keep Daemon from killing Aemond was Rhaenyra.
Daemon sighed when the door of the small council chamber opened abruptly, his first headaches not even cured. Their new one hit him like a hurricane, “Four ships have been lost, the last one was flying my banner, the Stepstone has now grown into conflagration, yet you sit here and dither about court business.” Corlys Velaryon spat while knocking his knuckles on the table.
“Lord Velaryon, please sit down first,” Daemon said.
“Sit down?! All I want to know is what to be done with my ship and my men!”
“Corlys, friend, please sit,” Daemon repeated.
Corlys drew a sharp breath before pulling his chair and sitting down; Daemon smiled at Rhaenyra; his niece quickly understood. She pours some wine into a cup and puts it near Corlys, “The crown will compensate for your ship and crew and make an offering to the men's family.” Daemon said before Corlys cut him; Daemon raised his forefinger, “I also already sent a crown envoy to negotiate with the man sso-calledcrab feeder; we will consider our next move by the response we get.” Daemon smiled, “I promise you, my friend, the crime against your fleet and your crew will not go unpunished, but I need you to wait patiently because we cannot risk waging war against the free cities.”
Corlys clenched his jaw but nodded in the end, “I will hold on to your word, Lord Hand.”
Daemon nodded.
“Will there be a war, uncle?” Ask Rhaenyra when the two of them stay after the small council dismisses; Daemon tilts his head, leaving the correspondent he currently read on and stares at his princess; he smiles when he sees worry marred his princess' pretty face.
Daemon brushed his thumb over Rhaenyra’s chin, “worry not; there will be no war, my sweet love.”
Rhaenyra sighed in relief, “Thank God, I thought you would have to go to lead our armies on the frontline, Uncle.”
“Did I just hear my baby princess worry about his old uncle?” Daemon teases her.
“You’re not old! And of course, I worried about you, uncle,” Rhaenyra said while wrapping her arm around Daemon’s neck.
Daemon kissed Rhaenyra’s jaw before wrapping his arm around Rhaenyra’s waist and resting his head on her chest.
“Uncle…”
“I know, sweetheart.” Daemon murmurs.
Their blissful sweet solace breaks when there's a knock heard on the door, “My Prince, it's the time for the banquet.” Said the guard on the door.
Daemon sighs before letting Rhaenyra go unwillingly, “come, sweetheart, I already arranged lemon cakes and many candied lemons and oranges to add to the menu.”
“Really?!”
“Did I ever lie to you, my sweet princess?”
“No,” Rhaenyra answered with a broad smile on her face.
Daemon stared at Rhaenyra intensely, refusing to break eye contact till Rhaenyra burst into laughter and slapped his arm, “Stop it!” Rhaenyra yelled.
“Stop what?” Daemon teases.
“You know what, uncle!”
Daemon chuckles while wiping the corners of Rhaenyra's lips that are covered with sugar. Instead, wiped clean his thumb on a handkerchief; he licked his thumb clean, made Rhaenyra blush, and landed another slap on Daemon's arm with a glare.
“You eat too much candied lemon, sweetheart.” Daemon reminded her.
“There’s no such thing as too many candied lemons, uncle,” Rhaenyra replied with the same tone Daemon used.
Daemon chuckles, “don’t come to me when your tummy hurts later; I already warn you.”
Rhaenyra sticks out her tongue to him before taking another candied lemon to her mouth.
“Looks like you two are having fun,” said Viserys with a bright smile.
“Well, yes, definitely, Your beloved daughter here is trying to break a record, brother; she stuffs her mouth with three slices of candied lemon at once.”
“Rhaenyra!” Viserys gasped in disbelief.
“Uncle lied!” She yelled with a flustered face.
“Am I? Oh yeah, it's four at once, right?”
“Uncle!” Rhaenyra gasped.
Daemon laughs with Viserys upon flustered Rhaenyra; from the tail of his eye, Daemon could see Aemond throwing a murderous glare at him, but he currently couldn’t disturb Daemon because the court holding him with their congratulations over Aemond's successful attempt to claiming Vhagar, which made everything more amusing to Daemon.
Daemon hummed while playing with the small velvet box on his palm; his long-awaited commission was finally finished. He could almost picture the joy in Rhaenyra’s expression when she received this gift. He put the velvet box into a safe in his pocket and walked faster to the dining room.
“Oh, Daemon, you are finally here; great,” Viserys exclaimed.
Daemon blinked and glanced at Rhaenyra, who only shook her head subtly at him, “Did I need to prepare another banquet?” Daemon teased, “we celebrated something?” Daemon asked while sitting beside Rhaenyra; Daemon frowned when he saw Aemond smirk at him.
“Yes, brother, Aemond come up with really wonderful idea,”
Daemon temple twitched, “I’m listening.” Daemon said calmly.
“I have decided that The royal wedding between Aemond and Rhaenyra will be held on their name day celebration. There's no greater name day gift than bestowing the title crown princess to my precious daughter, right?”
Daemon feels Rhaenyra grab his hand underneath the table; he could feel panic and anxiety emitting from her; Daemon tries his best to soothe Rhaenyra by brushing his thumb over her backhand.
“After the wedding, Rhaenyra and I will live at Dragonstone; we will take duty to rule the ancestral home like all the predecessors,” Aemond adds with a triumphant smile over Daemon.
Daemon temple twitches wildly now; his piece of shit good for nothing nephew seems to have already planned all of this thoroughly.
“Oh, I’m so proud of you, my son, but please do visit us often; the keep will be lonely without the presence of the two of you,” Viserys said.
Aemond smiled to Viserys, “Of course, father, I’ll often visit once a month for our monthly small council meeting.”
After dinner, Aemond stays with Daemon and Rhaenyra in the dining room; he smirks at Daemon before grabbing Rhaenyra's chin with his thumb and forefinger, “I have been patient all these years, my beloved sister; I give you time to have fun, I ignore your disobedience, I let you do whatever you want, but hear me, things going to change when we are married,” Aemond brushed his thumb over Rhaenyra cheek before placing a kiss upon it, “I expect a dutiful and obedient wife.”
Daemon feels Rhaenyra trembles; Daemon quickly pulls Rhaenyra and shields her with his body; Aemond laugh, “As I told you, uncle, I will let you enjoy your remaining time with my beloved sister, but in the end, Rhaenyra is going to be mine.” Aemond patted Daemon's chest before leaving both Rhaenyra and him alone.
Daemon exhaled sharply before cupping Rhaenyra’s cheeks, “don’t cry, my love; everything will be alright.” Daemon assured her.
“But you heard them, uncle!”
Daemon kisses Rhaenyra's forehead before resting his forehead upon hers, “do you believe me, Rhaenyra?”
“With all my heart.”
“Everything will be alright, my love.”
Daemon smiled internally when he saw a page boy running to Maester Mellos with a raven scroll in his arm; Daemon silently observed the maester, waiting for the unrevealed of his first move.
Mellos gasped loudly, drawing every council member's attention.
“What is it, Mellos?” Ask Viserys.
“This, your majesty—” Mellos took a glance at Daemon.
“Well, go on, Mellos, don’t leave all of us hanging.” Viserys urge the maester.
“Prince Daemon, my deep condolences,” the Maester said, “Raven just came from Runestone; your wife founded death this morning.”
“My wife?! How?!” Daemon pretends to be surprised. Gosh, he feels like a good actor.
“Her ladyship—” Mellos stopped, the old Grey Rat swallowed hard, “The ladyship suspected took her own life, my prince; there's a suicide note beside her when her handmaiden found her.”
“God be good!” Shout, Viserys in disbelief; he quickly grabs Daemon’s arm, “brother….”
Daemon covered his face with both hands, hiding his smile, “I know she was depressed, but she told me she is getting better in her letter!” Daemon tries to herd as devastated as possible.
Viserys stood up, wrapping his hand around Daemon, “oh brother, I’m so sorry.” He said.
“I… I ah… I need to go to Runestone.” He said.
“Wait, you need to calm down first; there’s no way I'll let you fly in this condition,” Viserys said sternly. “Rhaenyra, my dear, please accompany your uncle while I arrange the wake for your good aunt.”
“Yes, father.” Rhaenyra quickly took Daemon's hand and let him out of the small council room.
Rhaenyra and Daemon walk arm to arm in silence till the both of them reach Daemon's chamber; when Daemon's chambers door is finally closed and locked, Rhaenyra quickly throws herself into Daemon's embrace; Daemon silences Her laugh with kisses, “shhh, you cannot be heard laugh, Rhaenyra.” Whisper Daemon. “We’re mourning, remember.” He winked.
“What with the act! And the tears!” Rhaenyra whispered.
“Well, do Need to look convincing, aren’t we?.” Daemon smirks. “After this, I need to go for a while to prepare everything,” Daemon rubbed his thumb over Rhaenyra’s Cheek, “I’ll come back, sweetheart; I would never leave you again,”
Rhaenyra turn silent.
“My heart, do I ever lied to you?”
Rhaenyra shook her head.
“Do you trust me? Because I need you to trust me.”
“…I trust you, uncle, with all my heart.”
Daemon kissed Rhaenyra’s lips, “no matter what happened, promise me to stay strong; no matter what, I’ll come back to you, and we will be together.”
“I trust her in your care, Strong. Do not let me down.” Daemon told his most trusted aide, Harwin Strong.
“Yes, my prince.” Answer the knight.
Daemon exhaled deeply; he rubbed his thumb over Rhaenyra’s cheek before kissing her lips, “ I will come back to you no matter what. ”
“ And I’ll be waiting. ” His sweet love answers.
“ Be strong for me, my love.”
Rhaenyra nodded, “I will.”
Daemon mounted Caraxes; instead of flying to the north to the Vale, he flew with full speed to the east. Cannot waste any more time.
Rhaenyra waited; part of her wanted to run away on the back of Syrax chasing her twin flame, but she had already made promises to stay put, waiting for her dear uncle back, but months have passed, yet there's no sign of his returning, the wake already ended, Rhea Royce already buried deep in the ground, the mourning period also would end soon, why she had not heard anything from her uncle?
“Do not wait for him; he left like the coward because he knows he had no chance, forget him, and save yourself from a heartache, sister.” That what Aemond keep feed her anxiety.
There’s truly no news? Or anything?” Rhaenyra asks desperately to Ser Harwin.
The knight smiles wryly at her, “I’m sorry, princess, there’s any.”
Rhaenyra touches her twin flame mark behind her ear, telling herself to be strong; he will return to her, no matter what.
She wants to keep believing but reaches her limits when standing beside her father, “you look beautiful, my daughter, future queen of seven kingdoms.” Her father told her with proud in his eyes.
Rhaenyra just smiled faintly at her father. The guards opened the heavy double door, then she saw him, her brother, at the end of the aisle, smiling at her. Her whole body felt numb; she lost hope and could feel the fire inside her die down slowly.
She remembered their last night's conversation.
“Just give up and accept that Daemon leaves you!” Aemond yelled.
Rhaenyra stood still, watching the night sky, hoping she somehow could see Caraxes flying to her.
“Tell me what I am, that not him?!”
Rhaenyra turns around to face her twins. “Everything.” She answered, tears filling her eyes, ready to spill anytime, “everyone always expects me to be perfect, to do what I must do, no one ever bothers to ask what I want, how’re my feelings, not even you, my twin! It's only Daemon who cared enough!”
“I could learn Rhaenyra! I will do it if it makes you happy!” Aemond took Rhaenyra’s hand and kissed her knuckles.
“Yes, You could,” Rhaenyra answered; she saw a flash of happiness on her twin's expression, “you could try, but you will never be him; you’re my twin but not my twin flame.”
A smile dropped from Aemond's face, swapping with anger, “you will learn to forget that damn man and love me!” He spat before leaving, slamming the door behind him.
Rhaenyra fell to the floor; she no longer could hold her tears; she curled on the floor, hugging herself, crying till she was exhausted and fell asleep.
Rhaenyra took one final glance at the sky on her back before she even opened her mouth to say Goodbye; she felt her heart beating as she had never experienced before, making her halt and clutch her chest.
“Rhaenyra, are you okay? Why do you look pained?” Ask her father.
Rhaenyra ignored him, her eyes just stared in one direction, and then she saw a tiny gleaming red dot on the horizon. Rhaenyra's tears fall, and immense relief washes over her as Caraxes and Syrax land before the Royal Sept.
Daemon sighed in relief when he saw Rhaenyra hadn’t walked in the aisle; his brother looked perplexed when he saw him.
“Daemon? Where have you been? I've been trying to contact you all these months!? Oh well, that could discuss later, come quick; the wedding is about to start.” His brother rambled as usual.
“I’m not coming for the wedding, brother,” Daemon said, his eyes looking straight at Rhaenyra.
“Cut out the joke, Daemon,”
“I’m not Joking.” Daemon replied, “Everything is finally ready, Rhaenyra” Daemon told Rhaenyra, “will you come with me, my love?” He asks.
“Yes!” Rhaenyra answered.
Viserys’ jaw dropped, “what—!?”
Rhaenyra immediately tossed away her tiara and maiden cloak before climbing to Syrax's saddle.
“Rhaenyra, what you think you’re doing?!” Viserys yelled.
“I’m sorry, father, Uncle Daemon was my twin flame; he's my soulmate; I never loved Aemond; I never wanted to be queen,” she said in Infront of her family and every guest that now flooded the entrance of the Royal Sept.
“ Soves! ” Daemon commanded Caraxes, and Rhaenyra followed. They fly to the east.
Rhaenyra opened her eyes and still couldn’t believe that everything she saw was real; she traced her finger slowly on Daemon’s face, afraid that everything was just her hallucinations and would be gone in just one snap.
“It’s real, Rhaenyra; it's me; I'm truly here, beside you, my heart,” Daemon said in his hoarse low voice. Daemon quickly wrapped himself around Rhaenyra’s tiny body, “I’m here.” He assured her before placing a kiss on the crown of her head.
“What the hell have you been?! I may already be married if you're minutes late, uncle.” The anger that she dwelled up until yesterday suddenly burst.
Daemon murmured a string of sorry alongside small kisses all over Rhaenyra’s face before he stopped and stared right into Rhaenyra’s eyes, “I’m sorry I can’t send messages, my love; no one could know this secret until I brought you here or, It will be impossible for me to even just to entering Westeros. Let alone taking you with me.”
Rhaenyra huffed; she remembered when she was dumbstruck when she landed at ‘their castle’ yesterday; the staff received her with a warm smile and called her Queen and called Daemon King; the place was beautiful, built almost identical to Dragonstone but with better defensive structure, and armed with thousand unsullied soldiers who scattered around palace perimeter, “Can’t believe you are the one behind the Triarchy all along, uncle.”
Daemon chuckles as he places kisses on Rhaenyra’s forehead. “What with the long face, my love?”
“We only have Syrax and Caraxes, Uncle.” Rhaenyra huffed, “they have Vhagar, Meylys, and Seasmoke… I know unsullied are strong, but they could be burned nonetheless.”
Daemon pecks the tip of Rhaenyra’s nose, “they didn’t have Meylys and Seasmoke.” Daemon corrects her.
Rhaenyra frowned, “what do you mean? You forget how much Lord Corlys despised the Triarchy?”
“I already made a deal with my dear old friend.”
“What deal?”
Daemon raised his eyebrow, “you couldn’t think anything?” He pecks her lips, “did I really fuck you that hard till your brain melted last night?” He teases her.
Rhaenyra quickly slapped Daemon’s arm; her face felt burning, “uncle! Be serious a little!”
Daemon chuckles. He rolls Rhaenyra over and pulls her into him till her back leaning on his chest, “it’s hard to be serious when I have your naked body in my arm.”
“Daemon…” Rhaenyra warns him as she feels Daemon's hard cock poking the small of her back.
Daemon laughs, “Okay, name me one lady who could match both of your parentage background and wealth?”
Rhaenyra fell silent momentarily and then gasped, “you promised Leana to marry my brother?”
Daemon kissed Rhaenyra's shoulder, “I can’t promise him that, but I can vacant the position, and it's up to him whether he could make his daughter queen.”
Rhaenyra gasped when Daemon suddenly entered her without saying anything, “Uncle, we are not done talking here!” She protested with a vain struggle.
“Mmhm…” Daemon hummed as he nibbled the soft skin on Rhaenyra’s neck, his arm wrapped around her body and locked her in place.
“Uncle, I’m serious! I won’t let you fuck me to submission like last night; we need to talk, a real talk.” Rhaenyra struggled harder to make Daemon release her after he pushed himself up all to the hilt. “I deserve it after you left me blind for months!”
“Ask anything, sweet love, but let me stay inside you; yeah, I need you way too much.” Daemon pleaded sweetly.
Rhaenyra choked when she felt Daemon twitch inside her, “Uhh…” she couldn’t think of anything; her brain screamed to order Daemon to move.
“What is it, sweetheart?” Daemon coos to her,
Rhaenyra smacked Daemon's thigh, “Jerk!” She cursed. Daemon laughs,
“You sure they won’t chase us here, uncle?” He finally could think of something.
Daemon peppered Rhaenyra’s neck with kisses, “worry not, My coward Brother and his small council won’t dare to attack us and anger our allies, my love.”
“We had Allies?”
“What do you think I've been doing this past month? Enjoying the Essos sun?”
Rhaenyra shot a glare at him, “well, I don’t know! You sent no message!”
Daemon mumbles another sorry on her skin, “all the free city was backing us, my dear, especially Pentos, and Braavos,”
Rhaenyra feels at ease; she is completely leaning on Daemon now.
Daemon moved his hip carefully, like testing if Rhaenyra was going to protest or not; Rhaenyra let him, “for your Ass brother if he dares to fly here with Vhagar, I will fight him,” Daemon said with one heavy thrust that makes Rhaenyra forget to breathe for a moment. “I already prepared dozens of scorpions installed on every tower and gate; I’ll skewer that ugly toad of him.” Daemon starts ramming Rhaenyra with possessiveness, “he would need to kill me first before he could lay his hand on you; you’re mine, my love,” Daemon growled in her ears, “Mine!”
“Yes," Rhaenyra pants, her eyes glazed over and full of unshed tears. "Yes— yes—" Rhaenyra’s breath hitched in her throat; Daemon was too big, and she felt too full. “You're so big— I can't— I feel like I can't breathe!!" she moaned; Daemon grunted and slammed his eyes shut. Rhaenyra's muscles squeeze, and Daemon cum immediately, so hard that he almost loses consciousness.
Daemon smiled slyly while brushing strayed hair off Rhaenyra's sweaty forehead, “I recalled someone said that she is not going to let somebody fuck her to submission.” He teases.
“You’re unbelievable!” Rhaenyra blushed; she kicked his sin out of spite.
Daemon laughed; he pulled Rhaenyra into his embrace, breathing her citrus scent that lingered on her hair. “Sleep, my love. No one can take you away from me; you’re stuck with me till the end of time.” Daemon murmurs on top of Rhaenyra’s lips.
Rhaenyra hummed before drifting to the dream realm.
“Something good states on the letter?” Ask Rhaenyra.
Daemon smiled at his queen as he gave the letter to her; it was from Harwin Strong; he stated that Viserys made his father the new hand of the king; it was also informed that Viserys fell ill because of shock after Rhaenyra left, and how Aemond was nonstop petitioned the small council to wage war with the Triarchy, but Corlys, Strong, Beesbury and surprisingly Mellos keep declined it.
Daemon knows it's not all because of their love for him; more likely, the council is trying to keep Daemon away from the throne as far as possible; they know for sure if Aemond attacks their castle, Daemon won't hesitate to kill Aemond. If Aemond dead, Rhaenyra will be the sole heir to the crown, ad as the lawful husband of the Targaryen Princess; Daemon will ascend alongside Rhaenyra.
“Let’s hope my brother recovers soon, hmm?” Daemon smirks. “I pray to the god he lives long enough to give us time to create our dragonling army,” Daemon smirked even wider.
“Uncle!” Rhaenyra with bright red cheeks.
“You don’t want it?”
“Even If I wanted that, we wouldn’t have enough egg… Syrax was too young.”
Daemon hummed.
Rhaenyra raised her brow, “what did you not tell me this time?”
Daemon avoided his wife's lavender gaze, “I may or may not steal a couple of eggs from the Dragon Pit vault.”
“Eggs?” Rhaenyra emphasized the plural at the end of her word.
“Eggs,” Daemon nodded.
Rhaenyra narrowed her eyes and looked suspiciously at Daemon.
Daemon laughed, “Okay- okay- I took all the eggs and left the one that had already turned into stone.” He confessed.
Rhaenyra gasped, “uncle, that greatest treason to the crown!”
“Those fools won’t realize it until it is too late.” Daemon shrugs.
Rhaenyra huffed, “all I wish was for Aemond to give up on me; he said so many hurtful things, but he's my brother; nonetheless, I cannot hate him.”
“My sweet queen not only had a beautiful face but also had beauty heart, hmm?”
Rhaenyra blushed, “stop it, uncle.”
“I can’t, and I won’t.” Daemon smiled.
