'I was worried something happened to you?

'was that your first kiss'
Prompt request

There was a reprieve. A much needed breather from the annoying waves of the leeches that would try to infiltrate past your borders. Right now, you allowed yourself to be out in your true form. The form you feel the most free. Your werewolf form allowed you to enjoy life to your fullest. Because it was the middle of Summer, you had less of a time to be yourself. With the heat of the summer easing up as the sun set, you were making your way to the restroom to change.

Removing the articles of clothing, you started to allow your excitement to swell in your chest and make you transform. Bones shift and break. Muscles inch and crawl with new connection points for the different shapes your bones took. Fur bristling and then becoming smoothed out from a distant breeze that hit you. Your nose and mouth stretched and became a snout. Despite the brutal transformation, you became numb to all of this. Mostly due to the constant use of this form. All of this  was a static feeling for you.

After the transformation, you stand on your pawed legs and flex your clawed fingers. Everything seemed to be in working order. Turning on your heel you ran on all fours. Down one of the old deer paths and leaping over a rotting fence line into a corn field. Careful with not disturbing the crop, you follow the groves of the field. After a few minutes of running through the stalks of the corn you find the edge of the forest again. Despite it being fractured, the forest still has a huge presence in the town. Squeezing under the fencing, you slipped into the other half of the forest you enjoyed being in occasionally.

Birds scattered from the forest floor when you break through the brush. Startled sounds of chirping and the sounds of flittering wingbeats briefly filled your ears as you were running through your forest. Heading straight to your favorite hunting location that was far from where you knew where the seasonal hunters tended to roam. The path was rocky and steeper to climb, but you welcomed the challenge. Leaping from one section to another, digging your claws in for extra traction.

When you finally make it to your favorite hunting grounds, you slow down and ease your movements. Carefully with where you place your hands and feet as your nose is lifted to detect any nearby prey. Tail still as you are focused on the scents that drift towards you. It did not take long for you to find one that would catch your attention. A herd of deer got your attention and you started to carefully stalk your way to where they were grazing. Which was an overgrown meadow with wild grasses and flowers. Your golden eyes narrow as you watch them graze. Focusing on each one, you soon selected the weakest one before making your move. Leaping out of your cover and running straight to the one you wanted.

The doe bleats and darts. She was weaving between the other members of the herd. But her attempt to shake you off was futile as you were focused on the poor deer. Your prey breaks through the bush and you leap over it just in time to slam your face into a flat half-moon face. Letting out a yelp, your momentum shoves the poor bot you collided with back. Tumbling down the hill with him, both of you let out grunts and whines as you rolled down the hill. Only stopping at the base in a heap.

Tangled with the lunar bot at the bottom of the hill, it takes you a while to manage to unwedge your arms from under the torso of the royal blue bot. A soft growl of frustration escapes your maw as you look down. Ignoring the fact that there were silver throwing knives on the bandolier that was hanging from the shoulders of the lunar bot. Tearing your eyes from the weapons, you look up just in time to see the eyes of Moon and feel his flat face against your snout. Your gold eyes widen before you back away and push up to stand on your large padded paws. You hear the sounds of rustling and you narrow your eyes while baring your teeth at the possible danger.

You relax when you see the green hued rays of sun. Huffing, you look to Moon and extend a clawed hand to Moon, who was still on the forest floor. If you didn’t know any better, he looked like he was looking stunned. You huffed again, asking for the duster he wore in your language. You highly doubted that either of them understood what you were saying, but it was something that made you feel a bit better. Waiting for a few seconds, you saw Moon scramble up onto his feet and shrug off his duster and hand it to you.

Looking away from the two and watching the forest between them, you watched the branches sway in the summer breeze as you took long even breaths. Ignoring the two bots watching you from your peripheral vision, you were starting to calm yourself. The energy you had started to melt away as everything was shifting back to place and your fur started to recede. Your size shrunk and soon you were back to your normal self. Blinking, you looked at the two celestial bots.

“Why are you two here?” You huffed as you pulled the duster tighter around yourself as you were trying to cover yourself more. The forest felt a bit more welcoming than the two bots right now.

“Ah- well.. We…” Sun was stumbling over his words and you waited patiently for him to organize his thoughts. Only focusing on the smell of the forest past the oil and rest that came from them. Your attention returned to Sun once he started speaking. “We were worried-” He froze when he looked over to Moon before correcting himself. “I… Was worried that something had happened to you… When I heard that crash…”

Turning to look over at Moon , you couldn’t help but notice that he was oddly quiet. Usually he would be making a smart ass response or try to figure out your plans in the woods that you have already claimed as part of your territory. You tilted your head as you watched him closer. If you didn’t know any better, you could have sworn that soft sound was the sound of a computer fan. A smile started to grow on your lips.

“What that your first kiss clockwork?” You chuckled as you pulled your arms through the sleeve carefully. The lunar bot narrowed his eyes as he was getting up and brushing himself off. Obviously it looked like he was trying to give you a dangerous glare, however the fact that he handed you his duster made that glare an empty threat.

“We should be going now that you are safe.” Moon growled out as he started walking away, facing away from you and moving towards the direction of the town. Glancing over to Sun, your smile grew into a toothy grin. A wave of energy rushed through you as you had to hold back a sudden attempt of a change. Turning to walk after Moon, you chuckled.

“So that was your first!” You piped up with a laugh. Finding it funny that you had bumped noses as your werewolf form with the lunar bot. Making it a not so proper kiss. But hey! That made it more amusing for you as you teased the wiring bot.

“Drop it.” He growled out each word with clear annoyance and you did not drop it until you reached the town.
