Work Text:
KAZUHA NAKAMURA always said to herself about the mirror that should not be in a living room, or at least, if it was just an idle idea, that thing should not face the sun or you're going to blind—if we are to set aside the myth of the mirror that could summon a dark energy, demon, for example. It was a very good idea to make her mother believe that Lady Nakamura was on that side of beliefs. Even Though it sounded really foolish just to think about the illogical myth.
It was before she finally found the stirabout in her very quiet house that landed just after the arrival of a lady from the east coast of the United States, the place she did not want to know at all for it was not that necessary for her. The Lady of Huh Family, known as the lady with an odd attitude, came to her mansion to study with the Grand Duchess Nakamura.
It had been three weeks since all of the chaos that the young lady made, and it had been three weeks since Lady Kazuha sat before her window just to avoid all the noises.
Today, nevertheless, would be demurrer for her existence even still in a big living room in the manor because Lady Huh was asking for the mirror to rather exist there across the sunbeam.
"It's for my very energy," the young lady stated clearly. It was too bright for Lady Kazuha to exempt her wrath upon such a nostrious demeanor coming from aristocats across the globe, said her mom. She did not to reply. "The sunbeam brings me blessings as for I will percolate the bliss all across the seats in the Garnier Opera."
Oh, she ought to be rather insane.
Garnier Opera? A young lady for aristocats? Oh, her mom would prefer to lock them up in a exile castle on the east coast than to let the ladies in this house stepped their delightful feet on the floor of such a lavish place.
"Garnier Opera is not that arguable for a noble lady."
The pool of expression on Lady Huh's face brings Lady Kazuha into a deep wince. She said keenly, "It's rather funny. I am an opera singer."
"Was it not?" Lady Kazuha gasped. "Ah, I cannot believe it was so."
And that was their last conversation before her house was filled by the voice of an opera performance by Lady Huh. It was so quiet since until one day the mansion was the commotion coming from the living room, where the mirror was staying.
Kazuha woke up in the middle of the night as she heard the sounds of a young lady crying out loud, stripping in agony, and she couldn't stand the noises. She wanted to finish all the madness in the manor, but as soon as she arrived, she saw the back of Lady Huh was shivering along with the crying noises.
"Hey, hey." Lady Kazuha rapidly walked. She held Lady Huh's shoulder and rubbed it gently. "It's okay. I am here. You are okay, now. Do you want to have a glass of milk?" She grimaced for none of the noble ladies would have known how to make a warm milk as the lady-in-waiting were all taking a rest. Gasped. "Even though I don't know how to boil the water for the hot milk," she whispered to herself.
What a bemusing point it was to see the back that had been shivering in tears for ten minutes changed into soft chuckles. Lady Kazuha was startled to her heart as soon as Lady Huh lifted her head and chuckled. Oh my, she held her breathe, she was ridiculed!
"Oh, it was acting, Lady Kazuha." Lady Huh stood and pulled Lady Kazuha to have the same level of head to her. "I apologize for the commotion I have made to my lady of grace."
"Have you lost your mind by no means?" The Lady could not help but raised her voice in a soft tone. "You had me worried and all you have done was a mere play."
"Oh, no." Lady Huh chuckled, again. "I was practicing my ability to cry, and since everyone will look at me in such a manner, I decided to practice in the middle of the night."
"How…"
"I made you worried about me, it means I am a good actress," said Lady Huh while smiling. "Anyway, please tone down the formalities because I will be here for five years to come." She held Lady Kazuha's hand, and bowed, like a gentleman, she kissed Lady Kazuha's hand and smiled. "My name is Yunjin, from The Huh Family, My Lady."
She held her breath as her heart skipped a beat for a while.
"It is nice to meet you, Lady Kazuha."
[Lady Kazuha looked at her in disbelief for being ridiculed, then left. She left a grin on Lady Yunjin's face that would not be gone even for a week.]
