Summary
They had been friends since high school, but Cheng Xiaoshi had fallen in love with Lu Guang even before he’d found the courage to invite him to join their game on the basketball court; before fate had cursed them with their secondary genders. Lu Guang had made it clear how he felt. When he’d presented as an omega, he’d shut down every suggestion of ‘finding a mate’.
Cheng Xiaoshi wished he could confess. However, he thought that doing so would make him look like every other hormone-driven, omega-obsessed alpha out there, and that felt like a betrayal of their friendship.
Then one day, Cheng Xiaoshi returned home early and sensed something was amiss...Cheng Xiaoshi moved swiftly to the door and pushed it open, and as he did so, a wash of Lu Guang’s sweetened scent hit him.
There on his bed, Lu Guang lay half-dressed and curled in on himself, surrounded by heaps of Cheng Xiaoshi’s clothes. Cheng Xiaoshi stared as Lu Guang brought one of his black shirts to his face and inhaled its scent.
His shirt.
His scent.
Lu Guang moaned as he exhaled, quietly groaning into the fabric, “Xiaoshi…”
