Summary:

Before he dies Jaehaerys the old King with the last of his strength writes a letter to his Grandson Viserys after receiving a Vision of the destruction of his house because of Otto Hightower. Years later in the months following Daemons banishment and Aemma's death as he is going through his old things he finds it, the following morning Lord Strong bursts into the small council carrying a message that will change everything, sealing the glory of one house and the destruction of many others.

To Viserys I Targaryen

 

My Grandson and Heir I write this letter to you with the last of my strength, Please I implore you to listen to me The 14 gave me a grave warning. Under no circumstances can you trust Otto Hightower he will lead to the destruction of our house and the extinction of the Dragons, he will stop at nothing to put his grandchildren which you sired on the throne, Do not trust the visits of Alicent she is a snake in disguise, the Citadel needs to be dismantled as does the faith, they have murdered, Baelon, Aemma, Alyssa and myself have been slowly poisoned, Larys Strong must be eliminated, Trust Maester Geradys with your care. Trust Daemon and keep him by your side, do not alienate him.
