Work Text:
When Patroclus and Achilles died, they were met by the god of the underworld, Hades. He offered them a choice: to spend eternity in the Elysian Fields, a paradise reserved for the bravest and most virtuous of warriors, or to be reunited in the afterlife.
Without hesitation, both Patroclus and Achilles chose to be reunited. Hades, moved by their devotion to each other, granted their wish.
Patroclus and Achilles were overjoyed to see each other again, and they spent their days wandering the Elysian Fields, reliving their happiest memories and making new ones. They still trained and fought together, but this time, there was no fear of death.
As they explored the fields, they came across the souls of their friends and fellow warriors who had also died in the Trojan War. They greeted them warmly and were glad to see that they were also in the Elysian Fields, enjoying the afterlife together.
The love between Patroclus and Achilles was as strong as ever, and they were content to spend eternity in each other's company. They knew that nothing could ever come between them again, not even death.
The end.
