Chapter Text

It Hurt. As much as I want to deny it, it hurts, so fucking bad.

It hurts knowing that I could've been there, I could've been her
But Here I am watching from a far of what could've been mine.

He looks at me one last time before looking back at her.

I remember the way his eyes shined when he first told me about her.
My whole world sank but the way he smiled while the sun kissed his face melted my Heart.

I felt a pat on my back.

Grayson, the only person who knew.
He had the same sympathetic look on his face when he found me crying in the tennis club locker rooms.

"You holding up okay, Mat?" He ask. I bite my lower lip to stop myself from crying 'this was stupid' I thought to myself 'what kind of an idiot cries at there best mates weeding!'

"Yeah" I replied.

An idiot who fell for his straight best friend

My eyes are stuck to the ground and I feel my back swarming with sweat.

'last chance' a voice echod in my head.

I look up to see James looking at me. There was a glint in his eyes that sent a shudder down my spine.

I bit my lower lip so hard it must've bleed.
He mumbles something inaudible for anyone to hear.

I want to throw up so bad.

"No one?" The priest voiced mirrored in my head over and over again.

Grayson glances at me. I shook my head, no.
