As Sonny walked around the corner to the VSF interrogation room he sighed. The vice commander had told him the phantom thief had been caught. Not only was interrogating the so called "phantom thief" an important task it was also a complete waste of Sonny's time since he knew he was just going to let Alban go. As he looked into the interrogation room he started to panic...
Alban was gone from the room no trace of him being in there.

Sonny ran to his and Alban's shared house. Looking around he saw that Alban's room looked like it was ransacked, clothes thrown around everywhere as if he was in a rush to leave. Lots of the food was also missing.
As he ran around the place checking every gate, the dreadful feelings in his heart got worse and worse. He knew it was too late, Alban was gone...
After the announcement of the Phantom thief's disappearance the VSF got worried . Even if they dealt with Virtual crimes they still went Patroling from time to time. In the past few weeks Sonny never left his office, opting to look through paperwork after paperwork or case after case hoping at least one of them was about the Phantom thief possibly coming back. Eventually years passed not a word came back about Alban. Sonny was devastated, but one day there was a new case about a fast thief who happened to leave a... Cat calling card? As Sonny read the report his heart filled with excitement. He hadn't been out of his office it a long time. Coming to work early in the morning then leaving for home late at night. It was the same routine. If he had went patroling he probably could have seen Alban sooner. Sonny took the case deciding to come out physically surprising many in VSF of his sudden actions. He began tracking down case after case until he got to the location the thief would be at next. The Diamond City lights Museum. As soon as the mission started he burst through the door kicking it down yelling "Stop thief!" As if on cue a fast shadow went bolting up the museum stairs. As he ran and chased after the figure he ended up landing in a alley way, there in front of him was the thief and a trainee pointing a knock out gun at the thief. There was no doubt in his mind it was Alban. Slowly he walked up and handcuffed Alban turning to call his crew to stop searching. Then he heard a loud bang then a thud. He turned around seeing Alban laying on the floor. All he could see was red as he attacked the trainee. Shooting him to death. As he ran up to Alban he called for medics. He couldn't lose him, the person he worked so hard to see again. As the medics took Alban away he fell into despair thinking of what could happen. As he rode off to the hospital he walked into Alban's room staring down at the unconscious man.
Hoping,
Praying.
He would be okay.

As time passed, Sonny waited. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into a month. Eventually Sonny got an unknown call from someone. They explained that their names were Uki and Fulgur. (and Yugo if you want) They were friends with Alban and had been the ones to let Alban stay with them. They asked Sonny if they could visit Alban worried that Alban might be in bad condition. That same week Sonny got the permissions to let them in. He greeted them took them to Alban's room and asked them many questions. While they were talking Sonny heard his named get called out of nowhere, "Sonny?" He snapped his head over to see Alban awake. He looked drowsy but awake. At last. Sonny helped him up and talked with Alban a bit. Soon the doctor came in. All he could feel was how relieved he was that Alban had woken up.

Alban wasn't able to walk yet due to his muscles being strained from not moving in a while. As he slowly recovered Alban explained to Sonny why he left. Sonny explained how he already knew Alban was the Phantom thief. Him often disappearing at night and how he always wore these cat clips nomatter where he went. Soon Alban, Uki, and Fulgur decided that it would be better for Alban to move in with Sonny again. As they stayed together they would embrace and reassure each other everything was okay. That everything would be okay "In Each other's arms".
