Work Text:
Hongjoong let out a huge sigh of relief as soon as he stepped in the door, the inviting warmth defrosting his bones and getting rid of every worry in that moment. The journey was treacherous, driving through rain, hail, sleet, you name it. But he’d do anything to escape home life at Christmas time.
He’d booked himself into The Sleepy Lodge in the middle of a small remote town south of Seoul. It was quaint and exactly what he needed at this time of year. No one to bother him, phone signal non-existent and just his own company to do as he pleased.
Hongjoong walked up to reception after shaking all of the snow off of his boots. It wasn’t a huge lodge, but big enough to fit a grand tree in the entrance area with the most delicate of decorations. Tinsel and glass ornaments were placed across the desk, as well as a bowl of nice sweet treats. Everything about this place felt homely.
“Hi there, I’m here to check in. The name’s Kim Hongjoong.”
The woman behind the desk smiled upon his arrival, after wishing another man a happy stay who dragged his suitcase away.
“Ah, Mr. Kim. Welcome to The Sleepy Lodge, I’m happy to welcome you here over this festive period. Is it just yourself staying with us?”
Hongjoong nodded. To be honest, he never really had time for relationships, or the ones he had given a go with always failed. It was probably him that was the problem. Spending time with a partner at Christmas without wanting to burn the tree or scrap Christmas dinner is something he’d like one day. But these things take time.
He was snapped out of his daydream when the woman looked like she was in a bit of a predicament.
“Ah. I’m sorry, sir. I’m not sure what has happened when you made the booking, but it appears there’s been a glitch and we’ve double booked the room.”
“I’m sorry?”
“I do apologise, Mr. Kim. This doesn’t usually happen-”
“So why has it happened this time? Who is in the room right now? I’ve just driven 3 hours in that terrible weather and I refuse to go back out into it!” Hongjoong could feel himself getting redder and the woman’s eyes went wide.
“Mr Jung just checked in with us. I’m so sorry, this doesn’t usually happen-” She tried to reiterate.
Lucky for him, the red-haired man who Hongjoong saw check-in just as he arrived was still walking up the wooden staircase, after being caught up in what looked like an intense phone call. He wasn’t usually this rude but he cut off the woman at reception and started running after the man with his small suitcase.
“Excuse me!” Hongjoong panted. The red-haired man turned around when he reached the top of the stairs, looking down at Hongjoong. He was thrown off suddenly at the man’s chiseled features and soft brown eyes, and it made his throat dry up slightly.
“Uh, hi. Sorry for the rude interruption as you’re probably here for some peace and quiet like me.” Hongjoong kept walking up the stairs until he was eye level with the man.
He chuckled at Hongjoong. “You could say that, yes.” He voice was like honey to match his glowing skin. “How can I help you?”
“Well, I’ve just tried to check-in and it seems like they double booked the room that you and I have both paid for.”
“How does that even happen?”
“That’s what I was saying! Something about a glitch in the system but now I’m left with no room as they are fully booked with probably lots of lovey dovey couples that make me feel sick to my stomach.”
The man looked at him with curiosity, a small smirk on his face. “Well, I’m sorry to hear that…”
“Hongjoong. I’m Hongjoong.”
“I’m sorry to hear that Hongjoong. I’m Wooyoung by the way. I’m not sure what I could do to help out though. They definitely don’t have anything else available?”
Hongjoong shook his head. “Could- could we take a look at the room? It might be that it’s 2 twin beds pushed together to make a double? Sorry I sound so desperate, Christmas is always a shitty time for me, so this is the first time I’ve managed to get away from the family and I’ll do anything to keep it that way.”
Wooyoung gave a sympathetic smile. “I get you. I’m here for a similar type of reason. But let’s save that kind of conversation for later. We’ll take a look and see what we can do.” Hongjoong felt a warmth inside him that he hadn’t felt in a while. He wasn't expecting the man to be so easy-going about this.
The pair strolled up to the end of the corridor and Wooyoung turned the key in the door. The room was breathtaking. It was more like a suite equipped with its own tree and had a homely feeling. And a four-poster bed. One four-poster bed to be exact.
“Shit.”
Wooyoung couldn’t help but let out a little laugh at the situation they both got themselves involved in. “Okay let’s think about this logically. Surely they have a pull-out bed or even a blow up mattress in this place? We could then take turns in the bed to make it fair.”
“Yeah, surely.”
The woman at reception gave another sympathetic smile. “I’m so sorry. We have a few families with us who needed extra beds in their rooms so there’s no more to spare. At the moment I can offer a full refund and a voucher for a 3-night stay that can be used within the next year.”
“I appreciate the offer. But there’s no way I can even attempt to make my way back to Seoul right now.” The snow was coming down thick and fast and Hongjoong was sure it wouldn’t be long before his car would be engulfed.
He was now left in a sticky situation with Wooyoung, a man he’d only just met 10 minutes ago. Sure he was already far better company than his parents but sharing a bed with a stranger in what could be considered quite a romantic setting - it was definitely a problem he couldn’t see coming a mile off, but now here he was.
“I’ll sleep in the bath.” He blurted.
Wooyoung squinted his eyes, looking at him as if he had two heads. “You’re not serious.”
“No, I am. I’m sure it’ll be comfy enough.”
“Hongjoong. I can’t let you do that. It’s fucking Christmas for crying out loud - excuse my swearing - but that would be cruel. Tell you what, we’ll go through and ponder over a nice mug of hot chocolate.”
Hongjoong and Wooyoung settled at a table in the dining room which was also decorated beautifully, with fairy lights hanging from the ceiling and each table equipped with their own reindeer ornaments and tinsel. They were by the window where they could watch the snow come down, lying thick on the trees which surrounded the lodge. Hongjoong let out a big sigh, realising he’d been tense pretty much such the predicament started.
“Hey, none of that sighing. We’ll figure something out.”
“Sorry. Listen, I appreciate you being so chill about this. If it was the other way around, I don’t think I’d be quite so welcoming.”
“I don’t believe that. I know I don’t know your home situation, but I get the sense you’d rather gnaw your arm off than be there for Christmas.”
Hongjoong was caught off guard with that and laughed loudly. “You could say that.”
“So, there’s no way I’d try and make you leave here after a mistake that was neither of our faults.”
“Thank you, Wooyoung.” Hongjoong felt something in his stomach. It wasn’t bad, but it was also something he hadn’t felt in a while. Butterflies? Wooyoung was only doing something nice for him, nothing more.
Hongjoong’s mouth watered when the hot chocolates arrived, towered with whipped cream and cute little candy canes sticking out of them.
“Oh my god.” He moaned after taking a sip.
“Good, right?” Wooyoung grinned at him, his eyes twinkling.
“I’ve never tasted such a good hot chocolate in my life. Nothing else matters right now apart from this.”
“The best you’ve ever had? Wow.”
“What? Are you a hot chocolate connoissure or something?”
“And what if I am?” Wooyoung grinned.
“Shut up.” Hongjoong jokingly hit Wooyoung’s arm.
They made small talk whilst sipping on their hot chocolates, but Hongjoong had to mentally keep slapping himself back to reality because he felt himself staring at Wooyoung. Specifically his lips. Which were very plump and had a cute little mole on them to match the one below his eye. Oh my god. He had to stop.
“So are you sure you’re all good sharing with me then? We could try and venture out and find a spare room somewhere else too.”
Hongjoong shook his head. “No it’s okay, as long as you don’t mind either. I probably could’ve had it a lot worse so I’m glad I ended up with someone like you.” He gave Wooyoung a small smile.
He wasn’t going to lie to himself, the thought of being in extra close proximity with Wooyoung for the next few days gave him butterflies and then some, but he had to pull it together.
“Great, I don’t mind at all. To be honest, maybe the company was a blessing anyway. Home life has been… hard and I can get lost amongst my thoughts far too easily.”
Hongjoong gave him a sympathetic look. “Oh I get you, completely. I’ve been in and out of therapy for… 3 years now but thoughts always come back, no matter how much I unload to countless therapists. Sorry - it’s Christmas, let's keep this light-hearted.” Hongjoong laughed awkwardly.
“Please don’t apologise.” It was an impulse but Wooyoung reached over and grabbed one of Hongjoong’s hands. Hongjoong almost jumped out of skin but immediately felt safe. It was a small gesture but he really appreciated it. “Us lot can stick together, huh?”
“That we can.”
Their conversation flowed naturally, as if they had known each other for years. Wooyoung listened with interest to everything Hongjoong had to say and it made him feel wanted for the first time in a long while. Everyone else got bored of him quickly but Wooyoung made him feel like the only person on the planet in that moment. His heart swelled.
They went on to have dinner together, talking about their school life and sharing stupid stories about things they got into trouble for. Hongjoong found himself crying with laughter at some of the things Wooyoung had to say.
“These stories are far too bizarre for you to make up, oh my god. Makes my school life seem so boring as if I went to a boarding school!”
“I just got in with the wrong crowd, they were all clowns!”
“You should write a book, it would be a hit.”
Wooyoung laughed. “You know I have actually thought about that…”
“Great minds.”
When it was time to head up to the room as they were both yawning and their stomach’s were pleasantly full, Hongjoong let Wooyoung lead the way.
The room suddenly felt smaller than earlier when they both checked it out and Hongjoong could feel his face heat slightly. He couldn’t back out now but how was he supposed to act normal sleeping in the same bed as a gorgeous man like Wooyoung?
“Do you have a preferred side?”
Wooyoung’s voice shook Hongjoong out of his thoughts. “No I’m all good, as long as I have easy access to the toilet I’m fine. I always wake up in the ungodly hours with a full bladder. Sorry, I’m blabbering.”
Wooyoung chuckled. “It’s fine, I’m actually the same. Can’t make it through a full night.”
“Yay for inconvenient small bladders.”
They both got changed into their bed clothes, Hongjoong sporting a yellow matching pyjama set and Wooyoung… Hongjoong swallowed thickly when he looked him up and down.
The man stood in a baggy t-shirt and bare legs, and Hongjoong could only imagine a pair of tight boxers underneath. His legs were tanned and muscly, Hongjoong’s thoughts drifting again to imagine them around his waist or even on his shoulders-
He shook his head to quickly snap himself out of his inappropriate thoughts.
“Sorry, this is all I have as I thought I’d be sleeping alone! You look cute.”
“Oh- I- Thank you.” Why was he suddenly a stuttering mess? His face went red and he quickly turned around to put his clothes he changed out of into his bag to hide his prominent blush.
Hongjoong could hear behind him the rustling of Wooyoung getting into the bed and then he let out a deep sigh. Or maybe it was moan? Thank god Wooyoung couldn’t see Hongjoong’s face right now. “Oh this mattress is glorious. I could stay here forever wrapped up like a cocoon.”
“Yeah?” Hongjoong’s voice shook slightly.
“Come and try it. You’ll never want to leave it either.”
Hongjoong took a moment to compose himself, moving his things around for no reason before turning around and approaching the bed. Wooyoung looked so relaxed and content in that moment, his bright hair frayed across the pillow and his eyes soft yet glittering in the dim light.
Hongjoong slid into the bed, keeping his distance from Wooyoung but groaning at the warmth and softness of it. It felt like the embrace that he so very needed. “Oh yeah. That’s good. Like fluffy clouds.”
Wooyoung turned his head and grinned at him. “Exactly! Who needs Christmas with the family when you have this.” And in that moment, Hongjoong agreed. He felt safe and a warmth spread throughout him.
They lay in a comfortable silence, watching mindless television with bleary eyes. It wasn’t long before Hongjoong could hear Wooyoung’s breathing even out. He looked over and couldn’t help but smile to himself. He was still gripping the covers with both hands and he looked so peaceful as he slept.
Hongjoong’s heart thumped against his chest as he let his eyes graze over Wooyoung’s face. He was beautiful and Hongjoong couldn’t lie to himself about that, but he felt that tug in his stomach again because he knew Wooyoung would never go with someone like him. He felt stupid for pining over someone who he had just met but he had been guilty of that numerous times. And then the relationships never worked out. He should know better by now but his feelings always got the better of him.
It took him a good while to fall asleep because his brain was going into overdrive, but eventually he drifted off into a deep sleep.
Hongjoong stirred with the bright morning light shining onto his face through the gap in the curtains, and it took him a good few seconds to realise there was a predicament in his pyjama trousers. Somehow during his sleep he’d manage to plaster himself against Wooyoung’s back. He felt solid and warm and there was a coiling feeling in his gut. And he had a boner.
Oh god he had a boner, and it was digging into the small of Wooyoung’s back. Hongjoong shifted slightly and pleasure sizzled through his veins. He dug his teeth into his bottom lip to stop himself from moaning directly into Wooyoung’s neck. If Wooyoung was still sleeping then he could just slink off to the bathroom and deal with the problem without Wooyoung realising. He was about to follow that plan before a voice shattered the silence.
“Someone’s woke up in a good mood this morning, huh?” Wooyoung’s voice was thick with sleep; gravely and deep, and it just went straight to Hongjoong’s dick which did not help this problem whatsoever.
“I- Oh god, I’m so sorry Wooyoung. I’ll pack my things and go, I didn’t mean to make things awk-” Hongjoong started to remove himself from Wooyoung’s back but he had other ideas.
“No. Wait.” Wooyoung’s voice was firm and he reached back to put one hand on Hongjoong’s hip to hold him in place. “Use me.”
“I’m sorry, what?” Hongjoong could hear his blood pumping his ears, not quite believing what Wooyoung was saying.
“Use me to get off. Please.” Wooyoung’s voice suddenly got quiet and Hongjoong was very aware of his fingers digging into his hip.
“I- Uh-” He was so flustered. He still didn’t know if the man was just joking around or being deadly serious. Hongjoong didn’t want to make things even more awkward but his dick was rock hard and still pressing into Wooyoung’s back. “Are you sure?”
“Yes. I’ve wanted this since I laid my eyes on you. Please, Hongjoong.”
Hongjoong gulped loudly and moved his hips down a bit, until Wooyoung’s ass, which was still boxer-clad, made contact with his crotch. “Fuck.” He started grinding his hips, the tent in his pyjamas dragged along the cleft on Wooyoung’s ass. He could already feel himself leaking which was so embarrassing, but his head was hazy with arousal so he couldn’t even think straight.
“That’s it baby, use me.”
Hongjoong wasn’t going to last long, he could already tell. He let his hips move quicker, chasing the orgasm that would shatter him. Wooyoung’s ass was firm from probably a decent amount of squats every day but he could picture it taking a good spanking as well. Hongjoong panted loudly into Wooyoung’s ear and the effect it was having on Wooyoung went straight to his dick too. The man had his eyes closed and mouth dropped open in silent pleasure.
“Are you close?” Wooyoung asked, grinding his ass back onto Hongjoong, soaking up the feeling of his hard cock against him.
“Y-yes. You feel so good.”
“Wait a sec.” Wooyoung separated himself from Hongjoong before turning around and slotting his thigh in between his. Hongjoong had never felt so good. His length rubbed against the hardness of Wooyoung’s thigh and he was practically dripping inside his pyjamas but he couldn’t care less.
Their faces were so close together and Wooyoung tried to dip in for a kiss, but it was more a mix of them panting into each other’s mouths as they both grinded against each other. Hongjoong hated to admit it, but this was a lot better than some of the sex he had had in the past, so god knows what it would actually be like to fuck Wooyoung.
“Let go, Hongjoong. Get yourself messy for me.”
“Oh- oh god.” Hongjoong tucked his head into the crook of Wooyoung’s neck as he came, his hips jerking and soaking his pyjamas. It had been a while since he came that hard.
And then Hongjoong jerked awake, his chest heaving and pyjama top sticky with sweat. What?
There was a lack of warmth next to him. Had Wooyoung left before he woke up? Then he became aware of the wetness around his crotch. The sex that he had with Wooyoung that he wanted to scream about was only a dream. He literally came in his sleep like a teenager.
A wave of anxiety then came over him because where was Wooyoung? Was it obvious that he was having a sex dream about him and got totally weirded out that he left? Fuck. But then, speak of the devil, Wooyoung opened the door and came into the room with a plate of pastries and toast.
“Ah, you’re awake! I didn’t want to wake you but realised breakfast was almost over so I grabbed us some stuff. Hope that’s okay.”
“Uh. I- Yes, thank you.” Hongjoong felt embarrassed about his current predicament even though Wooyoung couldn’t see under the covers.
“Did you sleep well? It seems like you were dreaming about nice things anyway.” Wooyoung grinned as he set the plate down at the end of the bed.
“What do you mean?” Hongjoong felt his face heat up.
“Nothing major. You’re just quite vocal in your sleep which I find endearing. And just before I left the room I’m sure I heard a “Ah, Wooyoung.”” He let out a breathy moan as he imitated Hongjoong.
Hongjoong’s brain short-circuited and he didn’t know what to say. But he knew he’d probably messed things up for them now. “Fuck. I’m sorry. I have such vivid dreams sometimes and with everything that’s gone on-”
“Hush, Hongjoong. It’s fine.”
“You’re just saying that, you probably want me out of here as soon as possible.” Hongjoong began to get out of bed but Wooyoung made his way over to him, stopping him.
“Honestly, I’m fine with it. If I have to admit it, I’m pretty flattered that you’re already dreaming about me.” He smirked and Hongjoong blushed an even darker shade of red. “Has it been a while?”
Hongjoong looked away and sighed. “Too fucking long.”
“Same. I was blessed with a shitty, abusive ex that has given me serious trust issues. So that’s fun. Sorry, I don’t even know why I’m telling you this.”
“Whoever they were deserves hell. You deserve so much better.” Hongjoong looked up at Wooyoung who was staring at the ground. It was the first time he seemed vulnerable since they met and his heart ached for him. “Get back in bed and we’ll devour these pastries.”
Hongjoong tried to will his boner down with his hand underneath the covers.
Even though it was a spacious bed, they seemed to drift towards each other’s warmth whilst they devoured the best pastries they had ever eaten. It was the most comfortable Hongjoong had felt with someone in a while which surprised him, as he often kept his barriers up. Wooyoung was the light that he needed at this time of year and he could feel his cheeks hurt at all of the silly stories he spilled from his life.
The snow had stopped falling but it was still inches deep so the pair weren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Neither seemed to mind.
“Thank you.” Hongjoong said out of the blue, making Wooyoung raise his head off the pillow after being engrossed in a sickening sweet Christmas film on the TV.
“For…?”
“Just… this is the nicest Christmas break I’ve had in a while and I know this wasn’t intentional whatsoever, but I feel like I can actually breathe.”
Wooyoung took Hongjoong’s hand in his and stroked his thumb over the back of his hand. “I’m sorry for whatever has happened to you, and I know I hardly know you but seeing you happy makes me happy. I’ve always been an empathic person. I can’t help it, even with strangers but I can tell you’re a good person.”
Hongjoong let out a weak laugh that led into a small sound of agreement. “Thank you. I’m not sure what I’ve done to deserve the shit I’ve gone through. But it makes us stronger I guess?”
“Agreed.” Hongjoong looked down at his hand still in Wooyoung’s and felt a twist in his stomach. This was nice but he couldn’t let his feelings get the better of him.
They lounged around for a while before Wooyoung declared that he was going to attempt a walk outside.
“Be careful.”
“Okay mom.” Wooyoung chuckled. “I’m not going far, I just need a bit of fresh air.”
“We can go down for a hearty lunch when you’re back.”
“Sounds like a plan.” And with that Wooyoung closed the door.
Hongjoong lay back down in the bed with a loud sigh. His mind was going at a million miles per minute all because of the pretty red-haired boy he was stuck with. And come to think of it, he hadn’t had a release after the intense dream he had about him this morning.
With a lot of effort, he got out of comfy, warm bed and padded towards the bathroom, happy to have a bit of alone time.
He groaned as the hot water made contact with his skin in the shower, easing any aches and pains he had. His mind drifted again to the dream he had, the way Wooyoung’s body felt against his and his cock rubbing against Wooyoung’s thigh. It was so vivid it felt like the best sex he’d had in a long while.
Hongjoong’s cock stiffened again a bit too quickly but he didn’t care, as long as he finally got the release he needed. He shoved a fist in his mouth when his other hand made contact with his cock and slowly dragged it up and down. Wooyoung could come back into their room at any moment and Hongjoong didn’t want to make him feel more comfortable than he probably was after the morning ordeal. However, Hongjoong felt more blood rush south at the thought of Wooyoung hearing him and enjoying it.
Hongjoong’s hand quickened up and down his length and he put a hand against the shower wall to steady himself. His legs started feeling weak the closer he got to orgasm and couldn’t afford to fall and make a scene.
He thought about Wooyoung sneaking in behind him and wrapping his hands around his body, Hongjoong turning around and pressing him up against the shower wall before leaning in to kiss him. He’s already thought about this; their kiss would be slow to begin with and then as soon as Wooyoung whimpers into Hongjoong’s mouth, it would be frantic and heated with their cocks rubbing together.
“Ah, fuck!” A moan slipped out of his mouth as he stroked himself through a sudden orgasm, cum splattering onto the wall before being washed away by the running water, leaving no trace.
“Hongjoong?” He heard his name being called by none other than Wooyoung. Shit. He must’ve been louder than he thought and he didn’t really think Wooyoung would be back so soon. “Are you ok in there?”
“Y..yes. I’m fine, Wooyoung. Thank you!” His voice wavered. He didn’t sound convincing whatsoever.
Hongjoong quickly scrubbed himself clean and got out of the shower. He still had remnants of a blush on his cheeks but it would have to do. As long as he didn’t look freshly fucked.
Wooyoung was sat on the edge of the bed when Hongjoong came out of the bathroom. He looked mildly concerned but as soon as he took a long glance down his body, his face softened.
“You’re okay then?”
“Yeah I’m fine, no emergency!” Hongjoong could’ve sworn he saw Wooyoung smirk as if he knew. This was getting worse and Hongjoong was convinced his head was gonna explode by the end of their stay if the tension between them kept rising.
“I’m glad. You do have a nice glow about you.”
“Uh, thank you. Must be my new skincare.” Hongjoong forced a smile.
“Mhm.” Okay he definitely knew. “The snow is still pretty deep outside and they hadn’t bothered shoveling any of it, so I couldn’t get very far. Guess we’re still stuck with each other’s company for now.”
“Don’t make that sound like a bad thing, I don’t mind. Well, for now anyway. Just don’t get on my wrong side.” Wooyoung grinned at Hongjoong.
“Ooh can Hongjoong be mean? I like a man with a little bite to be honest.”
Hongjoong felt his face heat up. Was he always this flirty? Two can play that game however and he wasn’t going to let himself get flustered. “Great, I like a man who can take it.”
Hongjoong felt heart lurch as he watched Wooyoung take in what he said, slightly taken aback. He probably wasn’t expecting that retaliation but he enjoyed giving it. “A match made in heaven then, eh?”
“Absolutely.” The air was thick with tension but then it was immediately destroyed by Hongjoong’s stomach rumbling. Wooyoung let out an endearing squeaky laugh.
“Lunch?”
“Lunch.”
The tension dissipated between them as they tucked into a hearty lunch which warmed them from the inside out. The conversation between them was still steady and Hongjoong felt at home. It was a nice feeling that he hadn’t had in a long while but a sadness lay underneath it as this wouldn’t last forever.
“I think this is the most content I’ve felt on Christmas Eve.” Wooyoung and Hongjoong were tucked up in bed pretty early; their bellies full and faces flushed with a healthy glow. They were lying on their sides, face to face, and Hongjoong felt his stomach do a flip again. Wooyoung looked so soft in this setting, tucked up in bed and his hair falling over his forehead without any product in it.
“Me too.”
A comfortable silence fell upon them. Wooyoung’s eyes slipped shut but Hongjoong couldn’t look away from him. He knew that they didn’t have a lot of time left together but there was something niggling in the back of his brain. If he didn’t do something now, he’s probably going to kick himself for a while.
“Wooyoung?” He whispered, unsure if he was one of these people who could fall asleep in the drop of a hat.
“Mhm?” His eyes flickered open. Hongjoong hesitated for a second and felt his heart suddenly speed up as he looked into Wooyoung’s deep brown eyes.
“Can I kiss you?” Hongjoong swore that he saw Wooyoung take in a quick breath. Was that good? He was already overthinking this. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea after all.
“I’m sorry. Maybe that was an inappropr-”
“Yeah.”
“Sorry?” Hongjoong wasn’t sure if he was hearing things right.
“I said yes, kiss me you idiot.”
Wooyoung shuffled closer, closing the distance between them and leaned in, placing a hand on the back of his head and making Hongjoong’s job easier for him. Relief flowed through his body as he was so terrified of rejection.
As soon as Wooyoung’s lips made contact with his, every worry he had simmered away into complete and utter want. His lips were softer than Hongjoong ever imagined and moved perfectly against his own.
It all happened so fast but Hongjoong made sure he was as close to Wooyoung’s warmth as possible; their legs tangling together and hands roaming around each other’s bodies but also careful of where they were touching.
Hongjoong brought his hand up to the back of Wooyoung’s neck, keeping them close as their kisses got more heated. Wooyoung was pliant in Hongjoong’s grip and started to pant into his mouth.
“Off. Please.” Wooyoung whimpered as he pawed at Hongjoong’s pyjamas.
Hongjoong chucked. “Never put you down as this needy but if that’s what you want.” It was not like the movies trying to get each other’s clothes off as they got caught up in a pyjama arm or leg but eventually the garments were thrown to the other side of the room.
They were both under the covers so they couldn’t see each other’s bodies properly, but Hongjoong was still in awe of Wooyoung. He had a pinch me moment as he was convinced that his dream about him was the furthest that they would’ve went.
“I’ve been wanting to do this since the moment I laid eyes on you. Even if it was a frustrating situation.” Wooyoung confessed.
Hongjoong exhaled loudly. “I was honestly convinced my feelings were one-sided and got myself in such a shitty mindset. So I’m really fucking relieved you feel the same.”
“Have you seen yourself you dumbass? It’s me that should be fucking relieved.”
“Just shut up and let me kiss you again.” Hongjoong pushed himself up onto one arm and leaned over Wooyoung before kissing him.
Wooyoung knew how to kiss. His tongue swiped in all the right places and lips moved in a way that got Hongjoong’s cock semi-hard embarrassingly quick. He could feel Wooyoung’s length against his leg and small whimpers escaped from Wooyoung’s mouth when he made slight contact with it.
Hongjoong wanted to devour Wooyoung in the best way possible. His current situation was better than anything he had ever imagined, but he was greedy.
He broke the kiss and the sight of Wooyoung was already a wet dream. His face was flushed, lips slick was spit and eyes glazed over.
“I know this might be too forward but I’m gonna say it anyway - I really, really want to fuck you.”
Wooyoung’s response wasn’t even coherent, just a filthy moan slipping from his mouth. He slipped out of the bed from underneath Hongjoong to his suitcase and Hongjoong’s heart sank for a moment, thinking he had overstepped the boundaries. But when Wooyoung came quickly back to the bed with lube and a condom, relief settled in his stomach once again.
“I’ll take that as a yes then. Were you anticipating a Christmas hookup all this time?”
“A man’s got to be prepared.” He handed the items to Hongjoong.
Hongjoong settled between Wooyoung’s legs and finally got a perfect view of his body. He was a walking juxtaposition; soft curves in some places and muscular in others. His hard cock lay against his stomach and was already leaking. Hongjoong’s mouth watered but he had to be patient. Wooyoung was staring at him hungrily; his eyes dark and seductive. Hongjoong’s hands shook slightly as he opened up the bottle of lube and coating two fingers in the strawberry scented liquid.
“Let me know if any of this is uncomfortable, okay? I don’t want to hurt you.”
“I’m a big boy, Hongjoong. I can take it.”
Hongjoong smirked. “Fine. I hope you feel this for days.”
“Someone’s cocky. Get on with it.”
“Has anyone ever told you you’re a brat?” Hongjoong lined one finger up to Wooyoung’s hole and slowly pushed it in, enveloped by the warm heat.
“Ah! Maybe once or twice.”
“Thought so. Someone needs a little taming.” Hongjoong took his time with Wooyoung, the slow drag of his finger inside him making the man squirm. He was obviously hungry for more.
“More. Please, Hongjoong.” Wooyoung was moving his hips down on Hongjoong’s finger.
“Okay. Seeing as you asked like a good boy.” A second finger was added to Wooyoung’s tightness.
A sheen of sweat was already covering Wooyoung’s body and he looked like a Greek God under the warm light of the bedside lamp. Hongjoong really didn’t know how he got so lucky. Wooyoung’s hips moved downwards as he met the upwards stroke of Hongjoong’s fingers, making sure he got as deep as he could.
A third finger was soon added and Wooyoung’s sweet moans got louder. Seeing a pretty boy fall apart underneath him was a wet dream come true and Hongjoong would be thinking about this for the rest of his life.
“Taking my fingers so well, that’s it.” A drawn out moan came from Wooyoung and Hongjoong raised an eyebrow. “You like that? You like being told you’re a good boy?”
Wooyoung’s cock leaked more precum on his stomach and he threw his head back, pretty red hair splayed across the pillow. Hongjoong took that as a yes.
“Please, I need your cock. I’m ready.” Wooyoung panted.
“You sure?”
Wooyoung looked at Hongjoong’s cock hungrily. Hongjoong was definitely not lacking in the dick department, he was blessed in both length and thickness. Wooyoung pushed himself up to a seated position and tried to get Hongjoong to lie down instead.
“Let me ride you, please. Wanna feel you.”
“Fuck.” Hongjoong moaned. “If you’re sure.”
“I’ve never been so sure of anything.”
Wooyoung settled on Hongjoong’s lap and he was a sight to behold. Hongjoong had to be careful as he might just come there and then. Wooyoung reached for Hongjoong’s cock behind him and lined it up with his hole before slowly taking him in.
“Oh my god.” Wooyoung’s eyes rolled back as he was stretched open. “You’re so big. F- feels so good inside me.”
Hongjoong’s legs shook whilst Wooyoung took all of him. His tight heat was the best thing he’d felt in a long while. Once Wooyoung bottomed out, they took a moment to take each other in. Hongjoong placed his hands on Wooyoung’s hips and stroked up and down his sides.
“Doing so well for me.”
A pretty blush lay upon Wooyoung’s cheeks. He lifted himself up slightly before dropping back down, crying out as Hongjoong nudged his prostate. He quickly built up a rhythm, looking like the most sinful sight on Hongjoong’s cock.
“N- never had anyone as big as you.” Wooyoung groaned.
“I told you you would feel me for days.”
“Cocky bastard.”
“I am indeed a bastard with a cock.” Hongjoong tightened his grip on Wooyoung’s hips and pulled him down, hitting that bundle of nerves again that made Wooyoung’s thighs tremble.
Wooyoung brought his hand to his own cock, smearing his precum over it to make the slide of his hand smoother. But he didn’t even finish one stroke before Hongjoong was batting his hand away and replacing it with his after spitting on his palm.
“Only I get to make you come.”
Wooyoung whined. “I’m close. Please.”
Hongjoong sped his hand up until Wooyoung’s hips were jerking on their own accord which made Hongjoong groan too. His head was thrown back in pure ecstasy and he let out a wail as he came all over his chest and Hongjoong’s hand. His full body was shaking as he dealt with the aftershocks, but Hongjoong didn’t let up.
Still inside Wooyoung, he moved him so Wooyoung was now underneath and Hongjoong didn’t hesitate to start thrusting to bring himself over the edge. Wooyoung clawed at Hongjoong’s back and wrapped his legs around his hips, making sure Hongjoong could still get as deep as possible.
“Come in me. Make me messy.” Hongjoong thrust a final time before tucking his head into the crook of Wooyoung’s neck and spilling into the condom. The heady scent of Wooyoung and his sweat filled his nostrils and he couldn’t help but swipe his tongue across his skin.
Wooyoung milked Hongjoong dry, clenching around him until Hongjoong couldn’t take anymore and pulled out with a groan and flopping down on the bed. Boneless and satisfied.
They lay side by side, only their breaths filling the room but Hongjoong had never felt so alive yet sated at the same time. Wooyoung was a wonder.
“Not to fuel your ego any more, but that was quite possibly the best sex I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a fair few partners. That’s a magical dick right there.”
Hongjoong snorted. “I’ve never heard that one, but I’ll take it. Shower?”
“Not yet, give me a few more minutes.” Wooyoung pouted and cuddled into Hongjoong’s side despite both of them being sweaty and cum still on Wooyoung’s chest. That few minutes turned into a few hours after falling asleep in each other’s arms.
The bright winter sun streaked into the room onto Hongjoong’s and Wooyoung’s face, making them stir. Wooyoung was tucked into his arms and he must’ve stayed there all night. Hongjoong’s eyes flickered open and he smiled at the warm weight on him.
“Merry Christmas.” His voice was gravelly and thick with sleep.
A small voice replied. “Merry Christmas Hongjoong.”
Hongjoong was still riled up from last night, so he wanted to give Wooyoung something seeing as he didn’t have a physical present for him. “Can I do something?”
“That’s very vague. Will I like it?”
“Well, let me know if you don’t.” Hongjoong had to slide himself from underneath Wooyoung which he whined a little at, before disappearing under the covers. He spread Wooyoung’s legs and bent them so the soles of his feet were planted on the bed. He felt Hongjoong’s breath hover over his hole and then it suddenly clicked.
“Oh fuck-” Is all he could say before Hongjoong had his tongue on him. And he didn’t hold back.
Hongjoong buried his face straight in there, sucking and licking at the furled skin like it was his last meal.
“Best Christmas morning ever.” Wooyoung put his hand on the back of Hongjoong’s head to keep him down there. Not only was Hongjoong packing, but he was skilled with his tongue as well. Wooyoung’s cock throbbed and he felt like he could come untouched.
It was wet and messy down there, Hongjoong slurping and licking away but he felt like he was in heaven. Wooyoung’s legs shook around Hongjoong’s head as his orgasm got ever closer.
“Fuck- keep going. Your tongue is incredible.” Hongjoong smirked to himself before drawing Wooyoung ever closer to him so he could get as deep as possible.
Wooyoung’s orgasm hit him like a ton of bricks when Hongjoong slipped the tip of his tongue inside him; he didn’t even need to touch his cock. Hongjoong continued to eat him out until Wooyoung physically couldn’t take it anymore, getting too sensitive. He felt like he came for hours and so hard that he blacked out for a moment. Hongjoong was maybe a little too good with his tongue.
Hongjoong was a sight to behold when he appeared from under the covers, his mouth and chin covered in spit and he looked very pleased with himself.
“I’m gonna need to sit on your tongue for the rest of my life.” Hongjoong cackled and wiped his mouth. Wooyoung caught a glimpse of his hard cock and gestured down to it. “Do you not want to…”
Hongjoong shook his head. “This morning was all about you, I’m fine. He leaned in to kiss Wooyoung and he was gladly accepted despite the morning breath and just having his head between Wooyoung’s legs.”
They showered and got dressed in their most festive jumpers before going downstairs for breakfast. A hearty buffet was laid out for them and the other guests and the pair were never happier.
After the events of last night and this morning, Wooyoung and Hongjoong shared lingering glances and touches, and it gave Hongjoong more butterflies than when he had his face buried in Wooyoung’s ass. These feelings quickly simmered away as this time tomorrow, they’d be saying their goodbyes and going back to their same old lives.
It was the best Christmas Hongjoong had had and it was definitely bittersweet.
“I’ll miss you, y’know.” He blurted, suddenly breaking eye contact.
“Woah, woah. We still have a whole day together, at least wait until tomorrow for the feelings.” Wooyoung teased.
“You’re right, sorry. I just have a habit of getting ahead of myself too much. I think about the moment being over whilst still being in that moment far too much.” Hongjoong looked down at his fidgety hands.
“How are you supposed to enjoy life with that mindset? You’ll never be happy that way. Seriously, take every second as it comes and live in the moment. I want you to be happy, Hongjoong. You deserve that and everything more.” Wooyoung covered Hongjoong’s hands with his.
It was slightly overwhelming to hear someone care about him in the way that Wooyoung does despite still not knowing each other for very long. It’s a feeling that he hasn’t experienced a lot and he’s never sure if he’s deserving of it.
“Thank you.” Hongjoong whispered. “The same goes to you. You’re bright like a ray of sunshine, and I feel so blessed to have met you. You deserve everything good in life.” He could feel himself well up and he was surprised at his own emotions. A single tear rolled down his cheek and Wooyoung was so quick to lean over and wipe it away.
“Hey, it’s Christmas! No crying please. Let’s go out and build a snowman, yeah?” Hongjoong nodded and let himself be taken by the hand. Wooyoung was always good at bringing joy.
They built a mediocre snowman, ate some more, laughed, ate again, Hongjoong fucked Wooyoung slow and deep, and watched cheesy Christmas TV. A perfect Christmas for them both and they never left each other’s sides.
Before they knew it, it was Boxing Day and a sad feeling overcame Hongjoong as they spent a sleepy morning together before getting up to pack. The snow had dissipated enough for them to leave much to their dismay.
They brought their things down to reception and gave the room key to a pretty pleased receptionist, as if it was her ploy all along. They hovered awkwardly at the front door before Wooyoung pulled Hongjoong into a tight hug.
“Thank you for these past few days, I’ve never been happier. And I can still feel you.” He whispered, a smirk heard in his voice.
“Cheeky, but I told you so. Thank you for being the best company.” They didn’t break the hug totally as their lips lingered over each other’s before going in for a slow kiss. Hongjoong didn’t want this to end. But it had to.
It was painful to break up the kiss but they would’ve stayed there all day otherwise. They exchanged numbers as there was no way they could go a day without talking to each other.
They eventually said their proper goodbyes in the car park and Hongjoong watched on sadly as Wooyoung’s car disappeared in the distance. The drive home back to Seoul was difficult and he found himself crying a few times and frantically wiping the tears away before he steered the car off the road, but Wooyoung lived in Dajeon, so it wasn’t the end of the world. He met the most wonderful person by chance in a strange circumstance, so that was a blessing enough.
He got home late and sent Wooyoung a simple “miss you x” before crashing out on the couch with his phone tucked into his chest.

Hongjoong and Wooyoung spoke every day, sometimes when Wooyoung was cooking and he would talk through his recipes, other times where Hongjoong was in his studio composing. Even when they were apart, Wooyoung was so easy to talk to and the conversation flowed naturally.
When it hit New Year’s Eve, Hongjoong felt sad that he didn’t have any plans or anyone to celebrate with, but he was suspicious when Wooyoung sent a message on its own saying “text me your address x”. He did, but his mind was coming up with many different reasons why.
He didn’t hear from Wooyoung for several hours after that and then a loud knock at his door startled him completely. He wasn’t expecting anyone.
“Hello?” There was no answer. He was apprehensive to open the door in case it was just some silly salesperson, but thank god he did.
Wooyoung stood there with the biggest grin on his face and Hongjoong was so shocked his heart nearly fell out of his ass. He was about to leap over and bring him into the biggest hug but Wooyoung held a hand up and stopped him. He was hiding something behind his back.
“I know it’s not Christmas anymore but…” He brought his arm round to reveal he was hiding a sign. A sign that very clearly said “Will you be my boyfriend?”
Hongjoong brought a hand to his mouth. He hadn’t even told Wooyoung that Love Actually was one of his favourite films but it was like he already knew him so well. His heart was racing but he’d never been so sure about an answer before.
“Yes, you idiot. Of course I’ll be your boyfriend.”
