It was a calm day, breeze blowing on the wind the port was bustling as always with ships and fishermen pulling in and out as always. Okay it was a calm day for the port. It was a very hectic and frantic day for you.
You refused, it would not happen! Not today, next week or even in your lifetime! How could he?! Your father was so cruel to even suggest that you marry that brute! It was bad enough that you had to even humor your father by courting him!
Matthew Watkins was his name. "A Lord". Your father has said, he would be good for you dear, he had said, just try to get to know him. No it wouldn't happen. You decided right then and there! You had been the perfect daughter until then. No more!
So here you are now, dressed in the most sea worthy clothing you could find your hair cut to a more manageable length and tied up in a high ponytail and hopefully enough coins to ask for passage from the next ship out of Port Elizabeth as soon as possible!
You didn't really belong to high life ladyship anyways. You never fit in, you preferred to play outside and climb trees, or sword fighting, you even convinced your personal guard to teach you how to shoot a gun. You could survive and you would survive.
But first you had to escape Matthew and his stupid men chasing you. You weren't really paying attention to your surroundings and just happened to see the giant vessel, what was is called? The Celestial? You didn't think much of it as you ran up its ramp, and on board the ship.
Best to hide now and ask forgiveness from the captain later. Just long enough until Matthew gave up looking for you. Looking over the side, you didn't notice the figure coming up behind you, until you were lifted off your feet by the back of your shirt collar, and faced you towards the person that had grabbed you.
Except it was not a person, but an automaton, a big automaton. You looked him up slowly starting at his black boots traveling up to his dark trousers and noticed the sword and gun hanging off the belt on his sides. You're eyes continuing up to his white billowing shirt that was tucked into the dark pants and a waistcoat that matched the pants before finally landing on his blue and white face, with piercing red eyes.
And boy was he beautiful! And slightly intimidating, but god was he beautiful! No wait focus! You are obviously trespassing and he was not happy! And going by the hat on his head this was the Captain. Apologies now then.
"Look I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just barge in on you like that, sir, um Captain…I just really need to hide! Your beautiful!" Shit! Did you really just say that out loud?!
"What?" The stranger asked loosening his hold slightly as a look of surprise went across his face, before he shook his head and glared again*
"Wait sorry! That just came out! I'm so sorry…um I just need to hide, please.. I'm being chased and I can't be fou-" You didn't get a chance to finish your response before you were cut off by the Captain.
"Silence, why are you hiding? You realize this is a pirate ship right? Not the best place for a young lady to be hiding." He said before finally setting you down on your feet and walking around you as if assessing you.
"What's your name?" He suddenly asked.
"Y/N" You respond as you feel his eyes look you up and down, before nodding.
"Who are you hiding from? Why did you choose a pirate ship? Surely you know how dangerous we can be right?"
Actually you had a bit of an idea, but you couldn't speak from experience, not really. You'd only met one pirate in your life and automaton as well. He was quite friendly and had taught you how to defend yourself.
"I've only met one pirate in my life and he was quite nice to me…of course I was a child when I met him…" You say giving a shy smile as you looked up at the tall Pirate Captain. He was quite tall.
"Hm..and how would you assume that I would be?" You hadn't actually thought about that. He was right, he could be worse than Mathew.
"Because you could have kicked me off by now but you haven't." You say with confidence as you give a sly smile back.
He smiled back before letting out a little chuckle. Did he find you funny? Or what you said humorous? It was a start. He then seemed to relax before holding out his hand.
"Moon, Sorry for the rude grab, but I had to make sure you weren't a thief or stowaway, though I wouldn't mind if you were one~"
You blushed as you grabbed his hand in a handshake, or you thought it was one before he lightly kissed the back of your hand, causing your face to become even redder. He smiled at your reaction.
You would have responded, but was interrupted by someone shouting your name from the docks causing you to groan in annoyance, as you quickly grabbed Moons gun off his hip and aimed at Matthew and shot his hat off with scary accuracy.
"Fuck off Matthew! I told you, like I told father! The engagement is off! I'm leaving!" You missed the look of Surprise on Moon's face and the look of astonishment at your perfect aim.
Matthew for his part was stunned to almost had his head shot off. "How Dare you! Get off that Bloody ship this instant! I paid to have you as my Wife and I will!"
You were about to shout back before you heard Moon speaking next to you. "I'm afraid you're too late~ You see My brother and I have claimed this woman for ourselves and will be taking her with us."
"Yeah! Wait what?" You say looking up at him in surprise and shock. Did you just get kidnapped by Pirates?! And did he say brother?! Fuck maybe you did pick the wrong ship?
Moon only smiled down at you before picking you up and carrying you away from the side of the boat and telling the just as stunned crew to cast off before carrying you to the Captains quarters and setting you down inside.
"May I have my pistol back sunbite?" He asked with a sweet smile as he held out his hand. You could only nod as you placed it in his hand and stood there stunned as he patted your head and Called over your shoulder.
"Sun! We're Casting off, get up and look after our new treasure." Wait treasure?! He was serious about that?!
"Hang on wait, what's happening?!" You asked, but got no answer in return only a smile as the door closed and you heard what sounded like shuffling as heavy footsteps came up behind you and you honestly reacted before thinking and you grabbed the arm and threw the person over your shoulder where he landed hard on the floor.
The new automaton, looked up at you stunned before grinning big."We found a really good treasure!"
Before you could apologize he was back on his feet and brushing himself off, that's when you got a good look at him. He was definitely the same height as Moon, and his attire much the same except he was yellow with and white and had rays like a sun coming out of his head that were spinning around his head.
"Hello! My name is Sun! I hope Moonie didn't scare you too much! He doesn't usually bring new people on board, much less steal such pretty treasures like yourself!"
You were stunned by how polar opposites the two brothers were. They definitely reflected their names, that was for sure. You almost couldn't get a word in before you finally just lifted your hand and put it to his mouth. Which silenced him immediately.
"Hello, hi Sun, it's nice to meet you as well, I'm sorry, I was honestly just hiding on your ship to keep from having to marry my ex fiance…and now I'm being told that I'm being taken as your treasure… I just need time to process all of this and then maybe I can explain everything to you and Moon, once that happens I'm sure you can just drop me off at the next port of you wish."
He listened closely before nodding his head, before he looked a little crestfallen about you saying you wanted to leave. Did you upset him somehow?
"Well we will gladly listen to your explanation, however…I don't think we could possibly let you go… your way to valuable to let someone else have you starlight. Perhaps you will change your mind after you get to know us!"
"Wait, but I, can't oppose on your ship! And I really know nothing about pirates either! You're both making a horrible decision really…"
"No, when Moon says we're taking something as our treasure, well we're pretty selfish and don't like to give up on it. So I do hope you decide to stay~ Oh I know! I will give you the grand tour and then you can explain your situation and be our treasure afterwards!"
You wanted to argue, but the look on his gorgeous face, convinced you that maybe it would be fine. So you just nodded and agreed.
"Okay…lead the way gorgeous" Fuck! Shut up!
Sun froze up at being called gorgeous before he ran out of the room and to a barrel and ducking his head in where steam came out. Uh oh! You broke him.
"Naughty girl ~ overheating Sunny like that~" Moon said by your ear causing you to squeak and jump before grabbing him and tossing him over your shoulder, much like you had for Sun.
You then started apologizing before hearing laughter in response from the dark themed Captain.
"Hahaha! Yeah! Definitely a great treasure to stumble upon our ship, huh Sunny?" He asked his counterpart who only nodded his head and his rays fluttering and spinning around his head.
You in turn realized that you may have gone in over your head. Welp should be exciting right?
