Poem of A Human

Summary:

I am Human
I swear it to you.

Screaming to the world isn't enogh

Screaming thoughts 

Screaming to anyone who will listen

 

I am human.

I swear it.

 

Even if I feel numb

Even if I don't understand what is so wrong

I'm human

I know it because I have to be

 

I've been told I'm not,

but I swear it's true

Maybe 

I'm Screaming it to you now

 

Someone will tell me I'm human

Maybe you will

Turn right back around

And give that stupid smile

 

But you won't understand 

I'm human

Let me be human

 

I can act and dance and play the part

Just let me be human

Let me feel human

 

And yet

He whispers it to me

'you were never human, ----

Never ever human. Stop pretending.'

 

I try and fight back,

I'm human

He said it once to me I know I am

 

'A dead man's word means nothing.'

 

Let me be human.

 

'No.'
