Now, We Are Family

Summary:

Raising your son all by yourself was not easy, but possible. Having an eight-year-old son while also being part of the council, the Defender of Tomorrow, and a scientist seems like an impossible job but Jayce knows he could do it. But one thing he couldn't do was answer one question the small boy asked him a thousand times already: Why did he only have one Dad?

OR

Ethan never gets an answer to his question so he takes matters into his own hand to find his father.

(Part 2 of "Ethan")

Notes:

IMPORTANT! Here are a few explanations for this omegaverse!

The heat: The heat is not noticeable in this omegaverse and is more like regular human ovulation. The chances of getting pregnant by accident are a lot higher.

Alpha Voice: The Alpha Voice is a tool alphas can use to force omegas to yield. It is a frequency that can only be reached by alphas and even though omegas can fight against it, normally the alpha voice is a powerful tool.

This is also the sequel for "Ethan".

Work Text:

Zaun was a scary place. The loud hiss of machinery pierced the filthy air that made your throat burn if you inhaled too deeply. The streets were dirty and the houses old, poverty was written all over the faces of most people here.

People, there were a lot of them here. Wrapped in old clothes, they frantically ran up and down the streets, past stalls selling all kinds of rubbish and shops whose owners made a shady impression. No one stays in one place for long, no one looks at anyone. The neon lights bathed the people and streets in a pale glow but weren't bright enough to erase the many shadows that lurked in the corners.

Several side lanes led off the well-lit main streets. They were narrow, dark, and dirty. Sometimes beggars sat inside them, sometimes dark figures stood there, patiently waiting for their next victim. Everything here screamed “danger” and yet among all those dark figures was a small boy, wrapped in an old cloak he had found, anxiously making his way through the crowds.

If you want to know exactly what got Ethan sneaking out of his house in the middle of the night to go to Zaun, you have to go back a few days, to the day that little boy finally got his dad to tell him the truth.

From an early age, Ethan knew something was wrong. Even though his dad bought him whatever he wanted and downright spoiled him, that didn't distract the boy from the fact that he had only one father while all his friends had two parents. At the age of four, he asked his dad why he only had one dad, but he never got an answer.

Ethan's dad always tried to change the subject whenever his boy asked the question that seemed to bother him so much, and he had managed for four years to successfully do that, but as the little Alpha grew older he was no longer satisfied with lame excuses.

For weeks, the eight-year-old bombarded his dad with the same question, wanting to know where his other father was because he knew he had one since his dad accidentally leaked that information a while back. Ethan just couldn't understand why his father didn't want to tell him what happened between them back then. Ethan's persistence and constant bothering often led to arguments with his father, who was balancing between being a council member and a single father, until he eventually gave up.

Although he really wanted to wait until Ethan was older, he decided to tell his curious son everything. He even got the old chest down from the closet that contained all his remembrances of Viktor that he hadn't seen in years.

It wasn't easy for him to revive everything he had suppressed for years. The sadness, hope, and anger at what had happened sat deep in his heart and as Jayce looked at the old pictures of himself and the Omega with his son all those emotions blossomed again.

However, once the ball was rolling, Jayce started telling everything. He gave his son the pictures of Viktor and himself, and while his son looked at them, he told the story of how two scientists who were destined for each other met. Contrary to what he had originally planned, the alpha left nothing out of the story, wanting to be honest with his son and fair with Viktor. His son should know that it was also Jayce's fault why he only had one father today.

The entire time he was telling the story, his son listened in silence. He never once interrupted or asked any questions and when Jayce finally finished, tears in his eyes and a heart heavy, Ethan hugged his dad, who hugged him back.

After the mystery of Viktor was revealed, the tension between Jayce and Ethan also eased. Both felt as if there was nothing between them anymore and both found this more than pleasant. However, Ethan grew more and more guilty for practically forcing his father to tell the story after seeing the impact he caused.

He couldn't deny that his dad had gotten sadder and calmer since he told Ethan everything he knew, and the little alpha couldn't help but blame himself. He really wanted to know what had happened eight years ago and now his dad was sad. The boy remembered one sentence Jayce said in particular:

"I had hopes that he would come back after the war and be part of the family, but I think I messed it up forever."

It was obvious that Jayce still loved and missed the Omega. When Ethan asked why Jayce didn't go to Zaun to speak to Viktor, Jayce just shrugged and said he was too scared of the answer. While Ethan couldn't understand why his father felt this way, he knew what he could do to help him:

He would find him himself.

And so it happened that in the evening when little Alpha should have been asleep for a long time, he climbed out of the window of the apartment where he lived with his father and went through Piltover's dark streets, slowly making his way to Zaun. With only a photo of Jayce and Viktor, he set out to find the Machine Herald and reunite him and his dad once and for all. In addition, the thought of having a second father was more than tempting for the eight-year-old, especially since Viktor looked so kind in the pictures.

Admittedly, he didn't really have a plan as to what exactly to do or any idea of how to get to his father in the first place, but the little boy had always been a fan of the "act first, think later" method.

In the end, he was completely lost on the street and didn't know what to do anymore. He hadn't had any idea from which direction he was coming for some time and slowly uncertainty and fear spread. His dad wasn't around to help him, for the first time little Alpha was completely on his own, and for a boy like him who had grown up so sheltered this was quite a problem.

His original plan to ask the citizens of Zaun about his father quickly fled from the moment he saw the creepy creatures walking the streets. Piltover was so different from Zaun and he quickly realized that here apply different kinds of rules. But this also meant that he had no idea how to behave in order not to attract attention.

"What are you doing all alone in this part of Zaun at this hour, kid?" The voice that suddenly came from behind him made him wince.

He turned around abruptly and saw a Yordle looking at him questioningly. It was funny being called "little one" by a creature that was barely chest-high, but Ethan wasn't feeling like making jokes in his current state. Rather, he was trying to find his voice and stop staring at the Yordle, who was still staring at him expectantly.

"I-..." the boy cleared his throat once as the word left his mouth in a high-pitched squeak. "I'm looking for my father."

"Oh, when was the last time you saw him?" The Yordle cocked his head and looked at the young alpha again with his big eyes.

"Um, no, you misunderstand me," he began, fumbling with his robe in embarrassment while looking everywhere but the eyes of the fluffy creature in front of him. “My dad and I live in Piltover and my father lives in Zaun. I want to find him as my dad seems really upset and I feel bad for forcing him to tell me why I only have one dad."

“You're from Piltover? And you came here to Zaun all by yourself to find your father?" Ethan nodded in response and, shaking his head, the Yordle dragged him behind himself. "You have no idea how dangerous this time of day is for kids like you, especially when they're from Piltover! I can't just leave you here alone, no no no. What's your father's name, little one?"

"My dad told me he's called the Machine Herald around here and that the Herald was his former partner." The name he said hadn't meant anything special to Ethan, but when he saw the Yordle's face he wondered what bad thing he said to provoke such a reaction.

“The Machine Herald is your father? But… he never really went outside or was with people in general? How is he supposed to date an omega from Piltover-” the fluffy creature started, but Ethan cut him off.

“My dad is an alpha, not an omega! He said they were partners before they separated so that's why they know each other." There was a few seconds of silence when Ethan said that before the Yordle seemed to find his words again.

"Does that mean your father is... Jayce Talis?" The conclusion was uncertain and Ethan could see that he couldn't quite follow, so he nodded.

"Yes," he answered bluntly, watching the uncertainty give way to confusion.

“But that's not possible! The Machine Herald is most definitely an Alpha and not an Omega! Are you sure your dad didn't joke with you?"

“Of course I am! My dad tells me always the truth! He would never lie to me! I can prove to you that this is my father, you just have to bring me to him!" A grin crept onto the boy's face as he recognized a possibility for himself to find his father after all.

"I don't know, little one. Your dad must have had his reasons why he didn't go see your father himself and-...”

“I want to see my father! Please!" With the best puppy eyes he could do, he looked at the ball of fur in front of him.

The Yordle rubbed his face and didn't seem all that excited about the idea. He was pacing while mumbling things and putting his hand to his chin thoughtfully. Ethan watched him turn left and right again before finally stopping and looking at the young alpha.

"Okay, I'll take you to your father. I just really hope what your dad told you is true."

So while Ethan was making his way to the Machine Herald, at the same time an alpha was running around frantically in one of the luxurious apartments in Piltover.

Actually, Jayce just wanted to check on Ethan before he went to bed himself, but what he found wasn't his son, but a pile of clothes under a blanket and an open window, which didn't bode well. A small, naive part of him hoped that the boy was just messing with him and was hiding somewhere in the apartment, but that hope was quickly nipped in the bud.

Jayce tried desperately to imagine what on earth came up in his son's mind for him to climb out of the window in the middle of the night but didn't find an explanation that would make sense. However, when he accidentally bumped into the box that he had filled with things from Viktor which he hadn't put back in its original place since showing it to Ethan, it all made sense.

"Oh please don't..." he said before running to his front door and throwing on his jacket and hat.

Frantically trying to put his shoes on, he hopped on one leg and nearly fell into the clothes rack by the front door before yanking the door open and running outside. He had no clothing that would do well as a proper cover-up, but he would find something eventually when he reaches the borders of Zaun.

Zaun.

The Alpha's heart tightened at the thought of his son being there, all alone and without protection. Ethan was eight years old, he was probably as naïve as he was, and that could cost his life down there.

After the war, Zaun was independent but continued to be ruled by criminals. Living conditions hadn't really improved, people were poor and sick, living an inhuman life down there. The few resources were used up pretty fast, especially after the war took them off Piltover's trading route. A boy like Ethan, who was obviously from Piltover and clearly well off, was the perfect opportunity for some people to get some easy money.

The sound of shoes on a cobbled seemed louder than ever, the empty streets of Piltover wider than ever, and the walk to Zaun longer than ever. Jayce ran as he'd never run before, the bridge soon in sight.

Mercy on those who even looked at his son.

"Are we there yet?"

"Shhh, you have to be quiet, little one!"

Ethan walked slowly behind the Yordle who has introduced himself as Camden, staying close behind. They had left the main streets some time ago and were now walking through dark, deserted alleys. The houses were big and run down, no one seemed to live here, but little Alpha had seen creatures sneaking by out of the corner of his eye several times. They were not alone and that terrified the boy.

When they finally turned onto another alley, Ethan could read the name "Emberflit Alley" on a small, battered sign, barely able to make out the faded letters. Slowly they both made their way through the dirty path and Ethan was about to ask if they were in the right place because nobody could live here under these conditions when he heard something.

Three men emerged from the green fog that seemed to cover the streets like a cloak. They wore old clothes that seemed to have been patched a few times. Camden stopped and Ethan looked anxiously at the Yordle, who seemed to be skeptical himself.

"What do we have here? A little bugger and his pet,” said one guy, an alpha.

"We don't want any trouble, we have to go to Machine Herald," Camden said calmly and the men looked at each other before laughing.

“Do you think you can just knock on his door and visit him? The guy's crazy!" The man laughed and looked at Ethan. "I heard he'll saw off your arms and replace them with robotic arms. Then you must serve in his army for all eternity!”

Ethan flinched and tears welled up in his eyes. He was terrified and inevitably began to tremble.

"T-that's not true!" His voice was a squeak and made the men laugh again.

"Oh yes? And how do you want to know that? You weren't even born when all this started! Besides, you're from Piltover, your shabby disguise can't hide that,” growled one of the two Betas and Ethan backed away, eyes widening.

“How much do you think we can get for the little one here? His daddy must be worried sick and willing to pay a lot of money,” the other beta remarked and Ethan looked startled at the Yordle who stood protectively in front of him.

One of the men stepped forward and grabbed the boy, the other two grabbed Camden, who was trying to yank the boy from the Alpha's hands. Ethan tried to fight back, but the man's grip was too strong. The little Alpha has never felt so weak as in this moment. He shouldn't have gone to Zaun by himself, he shouldn't have sneaked out!

"Why do you have a picture of Talis in your bag?" Confused, the Alpha looked at the picture he had fished out of Ethan's pocket before widening his eyes, looking from the picture into Ethan's face and back again. "Wait, is THAT your dad?"

Ethan could only nod, tears streaming down his face and a sob threatening to break through his lips. The man's grip was painful and he wanted to be let go, but he had no chance.

“That's the Talis boy? Oh my god, we're gonna get so rich!" The two Betas looked at each other and grinned.

"If your dad is the Defender of Tomorrow, what are you doing in Zaun? A privileged brat like you would never set foot down here without a reason,” the Alpha growled, and the grip on Ethan's arm tightened.

"Ouch, you're hurting me!" Ethan's pleas fell on deaf ears. "I'm here to find my other dad! Please let me go, I didn't do anything!"

Now, little Alpha was really crying, tears running down his flushed cheeks and his frantic breathing punctuated by several sobs. The man seemed to think before he started laughing. He loosened his grip slightly, allowing Ethan to pull free. He did this so hard that he fell backward onto his butt.

"So you really think your other dad is the Machine Herald? Oh man, kiddo, you're killing me. Your Papi and the Herald are enemies, they fought each other. Besides, everyone knows the Herald is an Alpha,” the man said, grinning cruelly as he looked at the sad face of the little boy in front of him. "You're pretty stupid for someone who has such a smart father," he said and chuckled.

“My dad would never lie to me! He knows best who my other father is, you idiot!" Ethan was shaking with fear, but also with anger and shame.

The man's grin disappeared and his face became a grimace of anger. He grabbed Ethan, who cried out, and tugged him up. The two Betas had to hold onto the Yordle, who kept trying to get to Ethan, screaming at the alpha to let the boy go.

"You little shit, I'll show you what we do with cheeky little-...", he began, but then fell silent, as heavy Footsteps could be heard behind him.

The grip around Ethan loosened and the Alpha, who had been so bigoted seconds before, now stood with wide eyes against the wall of the house, while a giant reared up in front of him. Ethan looked at the man, seemingly made out of metal. He had bright yellow eyes and a huge claw on his shoulder that looked like he can rip someone apart.

"Who do you think you are?" A voice echoed down the street, it was cold and deep, making the hair on Ethan's neck stand up, and the man shiver.

"W-what I... I didn't-..." the alpha stuttered and gulped while glancing at the boy. "I-is that YOUR son? I-I had no idea-"

“If you get too close to him again, you will wish you had never met him. I'll make you and your two minions disappear!"

The Herald turned and walked over to Ethan, who was sobbing and shaking. The claw darted forward and snapped at the betas, who, startled, released the Yordle that had been held back the whole time. Camden stumbled forward and looked at the Herald with a mixture of gratitude and fear.

"An Omega... is the Herald really an Omega?" It seemed like the Alpha connected the dots and came up with the only logical explanation.

Suddenly his fear seemed to leave him and a terrible grin crept onto his face as he walked towards the Herald. He grabbed Ethan and before the big metal man could do anything, his alpha voice rang out.

Take off your mask, Omega! ” Nothing happened for a few seconds and the Alpha felt a moment of uncertainty, but then one of the Herald's hands went to his mask before he removed it.

With his back to the rest, only Ethan and the Alpha could see his face, the latter of whom was more than pleased. He studied the omega's face and licked his lips, the feeling of power making his cock hard.

"Such a beautiful omega, I'll make you my bitc-..." he began, just as a metal hand shot around the Alpha's neck before the Herald effortlessly picked him up by it.

The man's eyes widened as he struggled in the air, desperately trying to free himself.

" Let me go Omega! ” Again that disgusting grin of superiority, which disappeared pretty quickly when the grip around his neck tightened so much that he couldn't breathe anymore.

"I'll say it again..." the tall man began before pulling the Alpha so close that they were only inches apart. “Touch my son one more time and you will see what I am capable of. I will break every bone in your body and turn you into a robot, having you clean the dirt off my shoes until the end of time."

The words were so soft only the Alpha could hear them and so sharp that they made the man's body tremble. The Herald let go of him, who let out a pathetic whimper and stumbled to his feet, shaking.

"Let's go," he croaked to his mates after he stopped coughing.

The three men ran as fast as they could, the two betas as intimidated as the alpha. The Herald didn't look at them, instead turning to Ethan, who was far less frightened at the soft expression on his face.

"Shhh, everything's fine," the omega breathed, carefully cradling the little Alpha in his arms.

It took Ethan some time to calm down, but with the help of the Herald's gentle words, he finally did. When the adrenaline finally subsided, the eight-year-old yawned, his eyelids suddenly seemed to get very heavy. The Herald had removed a metal collar around his neck and a pleasant and familiar scent surrounded Ethan, who wearily closed his eyes. The last thing he felt was being picked up before fully falling asleep.

The number of times Viktor felt terrified he could count on one hand. However, the fear he felt as he saw the Alpha grab his son was almost numbing if it weren't for the rage making his body tremble.

He would have killed the Alpha if Ethan wasn't right in front of him. The boy's small, scared face made his heart clench and helped him stay in control. It had been almost funny for Viktor when the Alpha used his Alpha Voice against him, totally confident that he was in control. On a normal day, Viktor would have found it difficult to resist that voice and its dominant ring.

It didn't help that the alpha himself was quite dominant, which made Viktor admit that he would have had a hard time resisting the alpha... if he hadn't attacked his son. The man didn't realize that the only reason he'd escaped the omega unscathed was because of Ethan. Messing with an omega's child was a death wish but Viktor didn't care if the Alpha had learned his lesson because all that mattered was if his baby was safe.

It felt so unreal to be able to hold his son in my arms again. Ethan's face was buried in the crook of his neck, drawing in the scent of the omega, who now turned to the Yordle.

"Thanks for bringing him here," he said, and Camden looked at him wide-eyed.

“N-no problem. I'm sorry, but this is all a bit much to process right now."

“You did what you could. I'm just glad I was there. Can you make it home alone or do you want to come with us. I have one bed left,” the Herald said softly, and the Yordle shook his head, smiling.

"I'll be fine," he said and said goodbye before going his own way.

Viktor stroked his son's hair and went back into his house before locking the door and activating the defense systems again. He took the boy up the stairs and put him in the spare bed, which has only been used a few times. He gently laid little Alpha on the soft bed and covered him up after carefully taking off his shoes. He could hardly take his eyes off the peacefully sleeping face he hadn't seen in so long.

"I thought I'd never see you again," the omega whispered softly as he crouched down by the bed and gently stroked his boy's cheek.

He blinked back a few tears and swallowed hard, the joy he felt was indescribable. However, there was also anger.

What the hell was he doing alone at night in Zaun?

Jayce walked the alleys and streets as fast as he could without attracting too much attention. Zaun was big and winding, it would be a long time before he got a lead if he was unlucky. However, the alpha was willing to search for his son without a break. He wouldn't stop until he found him.

"How was I supposed to know that the Talis boy was really telling the truth?" A man's voice made Jayce freeze.

"That little beast was just lucky, had we caught him a little sooner his daddy wouldn't have been able to help him!"

"Admit it, Sitka, you shit your pants," came another voice, sounding rather amused.

"Keep your mouth shut! You were just as scared! I have to say that I didn't think an Omega could stand up to my Alpha voice. I bet it was just for the adrenaline. If I meet him again, I'll make him my bitch and even his stupid son won't be able to do anything against it!"

The men turned when they heard Jayce's footsteps and the alpha was about to say something when Jayce grabbed him.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM, YOU BASTARD?!" A punch in the Alpha's face sent him straight into the garbage cans, which banged loudly as he fell against them.

The betas backed away, the pheromones Jayce releasing were so strong and menacing that even the other alpha didn't dare stand up. Talis was an alpha not to be joked with, everyone knew that.

"N-nothing, the Machine Herald has him!" The Alpha ducked as Jayce approached him.

"Touch him again and I'll have you locked in Stillwater's deepest dungeon, you parasite!"

With those words, Jayce practically ran down the alley, leaving the three men looking at him in fear.

They had definitely seen enough today.

Viktor had taken off his armor and was now sitting downstairs in his kitchen making a cup of sweet milk. As there was a pounding on the door, the omega couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Jayce outside. He yanked open the door and before Jayce could say anything, Viktor roared.

“How does our son end up at Zaun in the asscrack of the night?!” His hand gripped the doorknob so tightly it arched under the pressure.

“He climbed out of the window! You know as well as I do that I would never let him go down that shithole alone!"

"This shithole is still my home!"

"Shut up, you sent Ethan to Piltover because you know he would never have a chance of a healthy life!"

Viktor pulled Jayce in and slammed the door close behind him. Jayce turned to him and sighed.

"Is he alright?" When Jayce said that, the images came back into the Herald's mind.

Ethan crying, the fear in those golden eyes. It made the anger boil up in him again. He had seen Jayce in front of him for the first time in eight years and he wanted to choke him.

“Yes, because I intervened, you idiot! Our son could have been dead, Jayce!" Viktor screamed so loud that he would have worried Ethan would wake up if he didn't know that the room the little one was sleeping in was soundproofed.

"I know, do you think I would be here if I didn't care?!"

"How could you even let him find out about me!?" Now Jayce got angry too and approached the equally angry Omega.

“I have no idea, maybe because Ethan KNOWS something is wrong? Maybe because the boy wants to know why his own father doesn't want anything to do with him?" Viktor's heart clenched and he swallowed hard.

"I didn't have a chance, Jayce. I would have given anything to be in that boy's life,” he breathed, and Jayce knew what he was saying was true, but the alpha was just too angry to stop.

“I know, but Ethan doesn't! For him, it was always just me, until he found out there had to be someone else in his life! You have no idea what it's like to look into your son's sad eyes and know that you can't offer him what he most desires! I was hoping that, after the war, you would at least let us hear from you, write a letter or something, so that I can look my son in the eyes when I tell him that his other father loves him!” Jayce's voice broke and he cleared his throat while averting his gaze from Viktor, who was standing wide-eyed in front of him.

Jayce had reopened the wounds that had taken so long to heal. He'd always been good at it, and the omega knew it wasn't on purpose. Jayce was deeply hurt, as was he.

"I'm sorry, Viktor. I know as much as you do that you didn't choose this. I don't blame you for not coming to Piltover back then, but because with each passing day that I didn't get any sign of life from you, I found it harder to convince myself that you still care about us as much as we care about you. I love you Vitya and Ethan loves you too. Why else would he have run to Zaun alone in complete darkness to look for you? Back then you told me that I wasn't allowed to love you because we are on two different fronts, but baby, I still love you so much it hurts."

Jayce took Viktor's hands in his and looked into the golden eyes of the omega, who stood speechless, unprepared for those honest and loving words from the man he had been yelling at just a minute ago.

“Every time I look into our son's eyes, I see you in them. Your beautiful golden eyes that I fell in love with.

I'm sorry for what I did to you, for the pain I caused and I want you to know that there isn't a day that I don't regret raising my alpha voice in front of you.” Jayce's eyes filled with tears of regret and sadness.

He had lost his partner here, in this house, more than eight years ago. The only person Jayce had ever loved like that. He wanted to be with him, he wanted to be able to call him his mate, but he messed everything up. Now he was standing in front of him once again, afraid that one wrong word could lead to a disaster.

"Jayce, I..." the omega whispered, knitting his brows together before kissing him.

The kiss felt good, like a wildfire, which filled the two men with warmth again. A warmth Viktor had missed, a warmth Jayce wanted more than anything. Kissing wildly, they stumbled down the hallway, barely going a second without each other's lips.

It took a while, but they finally arrived upstairs in Viktor's bedroom, who closed the door behind him. As soon as he did this, Jayce picked him up and carried him to the bed. The Herald took his face in his hands and kissed the Alpha's face.

"You're so beautiful," Jayce breathed, throwing Viktor onto the bed before clambering over the omega.

"Me too," Viktor breathed and Jayce looked at him questioningly. "I love you too Jayce."

These were words that took more than a decade to utter. From the first night they kissed to this moment when their lips met again, it has taken so many years, years filled with pain and tears.

"I've loved you ever since we floated through the air in Heimerdinger's office and I saw your smile. I love you so much that I was afraid of the power of these words. I didn't want to ruin everything through my egoism and when you confessed your love to me back then, I felt the same way. We've both been in difficult situations of our own doing, but despite it all, I've always loved you."

Tears ran down Jayce's cheeks, making their way until they finally dripped down the alpha's chin. Gently, Viktor wiped them away and smiled at the Alpha, who connected their lips again.

No more words were needed because, just like then, the two men understood each other without a word. When skin finally met skin, a feeling of ecstasy ran through both of them. The touches were careful and gentle, the kisses full of love and light as a feather. For Viktor it was as if his world had shone in a new light because he finally had what he longed for: his Alpha.

It was never his original goal, but it turned out that way and now, after eight years of worrying, the time had finally come. Jayce sill loved him, he was HIS alpha.

"Claim me," Viktor breathed Jayce's eyes widened.

"Are you sure?"

Instead of answering, Viktor sat up with him and bowed his head submissively. He bared his neck to Jayce, the most submissive gesture an omega could show an alpha. Jayce's heart missed a beat before bending his head down and licking the spot, making Viktor shudder. Finally, he bit the omega's neck, who groaned and pushed against the alpha.

A cocktail of feelings was released into Viktor's body, along with a fair amount of slick that soaked the omega's underpants. He had never been so excited as now. As Jayce licked the spot apologetically, Viktor grabbed him and turned them both so he was on all fours over the Alpha.

"I love you, my alpha," Viktor breathed, kissing down the alpha's stomach until he got to the man's cock, which stood proud.

The omega grabbed his cock and licked the entire underside from the base to the tip, making Jayce moan loudly. Viktor knew exactly how to please his alpha, what he wanted, and how he wanted it. He licked the tip and sucked on it while massaging his balls and looking at him with half-closed eyes.

"Shit, babe, you're so hot," Jayce breathed and Viktor took his cock out of his mouth, a thin thread of saliva connecting his mouth to his dick.

"Fuck me, Jayce," he said, only to find himself facedown in the pillow seconds later while Jayce pulled his hips up so that he had a good view on his ass.

Jayce pulled the soaked boxers down and licked his lips when he saw how wet the omega was. He parted the Herald's ass cheeks before licking his entrance. Viktor groaned loudly and hugged clawed into the bedsheets as good as he could. Jayce started tongue-fucking him and all the omega could do was clutch his pillow and moan.

"So needy and wet for me baby," whispered the Alpha, who had started massaging his own cock.

"Just for you, Alpha. I want to be yours, only,” Viktor breathed and Jayce bent over the brown-haired man.

"I'll make you feel so good, Vitya," he whispered before entering him with his cock.

Viktor's eyes rolled back and his legs were shaking with need. The omega was so incredibly sensitive because of the fresh bite Jayce had left on his neck that he felt everything much more intensely.

Jayce's hips began to thrust into him and soon settled into a steady rhythm that the omega and alpha alike enjoyed. Even after all this time, Jayce still knew exactly where to thrust to make Viktor a whimpering mess. Again and again, he hit the omega's prostate, who bit into the pillow to dampen his noises.

Jayce slowly bent over him, his warm breath tickling his ear, and the places where his stomach touched Viktor's back seemed to get incredibly hot. Viktor opened his eyes and met Jayce's dark ones.

"I'll fuck you until you can only moan my name until you're ruined for everyone but me," he whispered and Viktor moaned at the words before coming hard.

The orgasm hit him with such force that his vision blurred for a moment. Jayce fucked him through his orgasm and meet his eyes as he spoke slowly.

"I'm going to fuck you all night until you realize how much I love you. ”

Turns out Jayce really meant those words. Viktor couldn't remember a time he was fucked so well. Sometimes he rode Jayce, sometimes Jayce fucked him against the wall, sometimes he fingered him until he was shaking and the alpha's fingers were cramping.

Finally, Jayce came deep inside him again, and Viktor fell onto the Alpha's chest, the knot preventing the semen from leaking out. They both just lay there, the stillness comfortable and the sound of their breathing the only thing that disturbed the piece. The room smelled of sex and Viktor was sure he wouldn't be able to walk tomorrow, but it was so worth it.

“Come back to Piltover with us, baby. Let us finally be a family,” Jayce whispered while stroking the omega's hair.

"Ok," he said and Jayce stopped.

"Do you mean it?" There was so much hope in that sentence that Viktor's heart clenched.

"I don't want to have to pretend like I'm fine without you anymore. I want to hold my son and cuddle with my mate. I really want to put this all behind me,” he breathed and Jayce smiled before hugging Viktor tightly.

"Me, too. I want to be together with you, have more pups, and a big family with the most beautiful omega I've met in my life." Viktor giggled and looked at him.

"You want more pups?"

"Yes, I want to give you as many pupa as you want. I want you to have a big and happy family", he breathed, kissing his omega's cheek.

"Well, it would be a miracle if I wasn't pregnant, given the amount of cum you've pumped into me," he said, and Jayce blushed at the perverted words that came out of Viktor's mouth so innocently.

"Viktor!"

"Shh, let's go to sleep!"

"You can't say something like that and then expect me to just sleep!"

“Hm, why, what-... AH! J-jayce, hmm~” Viktor moaned as the Alpha pinned him to the bed and started fucking again.

Jayce kept his promise to completely destroy Viktor. The next morning, Viktor's butt hurt. Jayce actually had to carry him to the bathroom, which was directly adjacent to the Herald's bedroom.

The warm water felt good and both men stood in the shower, hugging each other, enjoying each other's company, and when they were finally done, they dried themselves before stepping out of the bedroom fresh and clean. Viktor quietly opened the guest room door and saw that Ethan still seemed to be asleep. Jayce hugged him from behind and the omega leaned against the alpha's chest.

He could get used to this morning routine.

"I make breakfast. Wake our little one up,” Jayce whispered before the Alpha made his way to the kitchen, leaving Viktor alone.

The omega quietly entered the room and a gentle smile crept onto his face as he looked at his son. The little one must have been exhausted from yesterday, so the Herald was extra careful when waking the boy up.

"Wake up, sunshine," he whispered, caressing the dark hair Ethan had clearly inherited from Jayce.

The boy slowly opened his eyes, and the same gold that was in Viktor's eyes glared at him. Ethan yawned sleepily and Viktor's heart beat faster.

"Where am I?" The Alpha murmured those words under his breath as he sat up and looked around.

"In my guest room. You were so tired after yesterday's incident that you fell asleep straight away."

Ethan looked at Viktor and smiled before leaning forward and hugging him. Viktor was a little surprised but returned the hug. Ethan drew in the scent of the omega, which was as familiar to him as Jayce's was.

"I really can't believe I found you. I thought you didn't want to be with us,” the boy murmured into the crook of his neck, and the Herald's heart clenched.

"I'm so sorry, little one, but I had no choice. Zaun would not have been a place for a boy like you to grow up. Giving you to Piltover was the hardest decision I've ever made, but now that I see how healthy and big you are, I don't regret it." Viktor sat on the bed and held Ethan in his arms, who snuggled up to him.

"I'm glad you want to be my father," he just whispered and looked at Viktor with wide eyes. "Wait, what about my dad? He must be worried!"

Viktor chuckled a little as he looked into the boy's startled face before brushing his wild hair away from his face. He really was a perfect mix between Jayce and himself. The resemblance was unmistakable.

"Don't worry about it," he said before standing up with the boy in his arms.

Ethan held onto Viktor and looked over his shoulder as the omega carried him downstairs to where Jayce was making breakfast. Ethan's eyes widened and he began to beam.

"Dad!" Jayce looked up and smiled so softly that Viktor's knees went weak.

It was the same smile he had given him back when the two men went over his Hextech theory in Jayce's blown-up apartment. It was so gentle and pure that everything negative in Viktor's mind disappeared.

This man was now his mate.

"I didn't think I would ever see this sight," he said, putting the food on his plate.

Viktor put Ethan down and took a seat as well. He gave Jayce a loving glance, enjoying the moment of idyll that he had been denied for so long.

It wasn't all good between them and there was still a lot to talk about, both men knew that, but it was a start in the right direction. It was the end of an era, the closing of a chapter that will hopefully remain closed forever. It was a rocky road up to this moment, but when Viktor looked at his son's smiling face, it was worth it.

Now they were a family.
