Sweet just like frustration

Summary:

Loki had never been so sexually frustrated in his life. He’d always had more than enough interested partners—his natural charisma in addition to his royal status saw to that, depending on the occasion, but here none of that meant anything. They’d spent what seemed like the last month in the bowels of the TVA, not once leaving on any kind of mission requiring less than a full team of hunters, and there hadn’t even been time to slip away.

Notes:

Quick beta by MY WIFE Oriiana. On that note, I'm posting on Sunday because I just got married! (I couldn't resist being one of those authors.) Cheers, have some porn.

Title from Ice Cream by MIKA.

Work Text:

Loki had never been so sexually frustrated in his life. He’d always had more than enough interested partners—his natural charisma in addition to his royal status saw to that, depending on the occasion, but here none of that meant anything. They’d spent what seemed like the last month in the bowels of the TVA, not once leaving on any kind of mission requiring less than a full team of hunters, and there hadn’t even been time to slip away.

Mobius was keeping unusually late hours lately, staying up to finish reams of paperwork, stumbling into bed too exhausted to do more than pass out in Loki’s waiting arms. Loki held him close as he slept and, if he woke with a not-infrequent nightmare, stroking his hair and pressing kisses to his shoulders until his breathing evened and he snored softly once again.

“Come to bed with me?” Loki stood in the doorway, clad only in an abbreviated pair of gym shorts, his hair flowing loose around his shoulders.

“Sorry, Lokes. Gotta finish these assessments,” Mobius explained with a rueful smile.

“You work too hard. I’m sure those can wait until the morning.” Loki cocked his hip, drawing attention to the sinuous curve of his waist and the sharp lines of his hips leading lower, and offered his most winning smile. “Come on, I’ll help you relax.”

Mobius watched him for a moment, his eyes darkening a shade, then sighed softly, looking down at the papers under his hands. “No can do, unfortunately. The teams heading out are counting on me for this information.”

Loki’s lips pinched into a thin line, and Mobius knew he’d upset him. But facts were facts, and if he didn’t finish these assessments, he’d be sending good people into the field unprepared. “You can get some sleep, though. I might be here for a while.”

Loki arched an eyebrow and turned without a word, flouncing dramatically into the bedroom where he’d taken up residence. He had his own bed in the apartment next door, but neither of them really saw the point when they’d naturally gravitated toward spending most of their time here.

“Loki—”

Mobius knew an apology was in order, but first… he had to finish these. He frowned to himself and got back to work.

Moments later, he began to hear… noises from the other room. A soft gasp, a hitch of breath—was Loki crying? Mobius felt a sharp pang of guilt, then heard his name moaned softly in what could be nothing but pleasure.

Instantly, he realized what Loki was up to.

Loki stormed off into the bedroom alone, incensed that Mobius hadn’t gone for his seduction. He had honestly thought it would be that easy—he saw the way Mobius looked at him even when he wasn’t being particularly charming, and they’d spent several lovely trips to various timelines enjoying each other before the Splintering. If Mobius had to finish those papers, fine. He didn’t know why he had to finish them himself, why he couldn’t just make the call and pass them off to a junior agent to fill in the details, but… whatever.

If the usual method didn’t work, Loki was by no means above using more underhanded tactics. He reached into the drawer in the bedside table, shimmying out of his tiny shorts and letting them pool around his ankles. Grabbing the bottle of lubricant, he poured a generous amount into his hand and perched on the edge of the bed facing the door, taking full advantage of the room’s acoustics.

He took his cock in hand, stroking along the full length with a slick, wet noise. His breath hitched at the abrupt sensation, and he set a punishing pace, handling himself a bit more roughly than he usually liked—slow strokes with his thumb and index finger in order to tease himself to full arousal—but he’d been needy and hard for far too long already not to just go for it. He curled his full hand around himself, allowing the lubricant to do its job and distribute the friction evenly, and gasped at the resulting sensation, which was far more like when Mobius touched him. But he wasn’t, Loki reminded himself, frustration bitter on his tongue. If Mobius didn’t want him, he could take care of himself like he always had.

As Loki stroked himself, he couldn’t help the way his mind wandered, thinking about the way Mobius liked to take his time, to trail down his body leaving whiskery kisses from his throat to his hip, those blue eyes twinkling with his own secret mischief as he teased Loki before giving him what he so desperately wanted.

“Mmm, Mobius…” Loki moaned, letting himself be a little loud so Mobius would hear what he was missing out on. He paused for a moment to listen carefully, but heard nothing, not even a response. Furious, he stroked himself faster, the heat and friction building nearly to the point of pain as his fingers tightened around his cock, until his back arched and he cried out, spending over his hand.

In his brief post-orgasmic haze, Loki realized that Mobius hadn’t stirred at all.

Rather than sated, he just felt wrung-out and exhausted. Swallowing down a sob, he wiped his hand angrily on Mobius’ side of the blanket and crawled under the covers on the other side of the bed, willing himself to fall asleep quickly. If Mobius didn’t want him, he could deal with the consequences.

Mobius held his pen in a white-knuckled grip, gritting his teeth as he finished marking his recommendations on this report, the slick noises and breathy gasps echoing in from the bedroom with perfect clarity. Mobius’ erection was positively aching in his slacks, his mind filled with a near-perfect image of what was going on in the next room. Loki fisting his own cock, the delicate flush spreading down his chest, his tongue flicking out to wet his narrow lips, his soft mouth falling open as his face relaxed in pleasure—

Mobius breathed sharply through his nose, willing himself to calm down and not take off after him, racing into the bedroom, dropping to his knees and just—

He closed his mouth with a click of teeth, staring as if to bore holes in the paper, writing with slow, careful strokes to avoid accidentally writing what he was imagining instead of what he should be thinking about. Safety concerns. Protocol. The number of resources to be assigned, the reset charges that could be spared in case they encountered a Kang variant.

He was burning up, sweat beginning to bead at his temples as the heat of arousal swept through his body, leaving him feeling parched and empty. He could imagine the smell of Loki’s arousal, heavy and intoxicating as he pressed in close, taking him into his mouth, causing those soft whines and gasps himself… he clenched his fists to keep control of himself, and paper crinkled beneath them, snapping him back to the present.

Right, the assignments.

He didn’t particularly want to do them—at the moment, he desperately did not want to do them—but he had a responsibility. He was already asking so much of everyone else, putting Loki out in the field where he could be hurt even though it shouldn’t ever have been his job… he’d want the same consideration for Loki’s safety that he was putting into the rest of these assignments. He had a standard to uphold. The thought of Loki being hurt or getting lost again on a mission was too awful to imagine.

The soft cry that accompanied what must have been Loki’s orgasm sent a bolt of lust directly to Mobius’ groin, and he had to sit back and take a moment, his eyes squeezed closed until bright sparks pricked at his vision as he gathered all his willpower to just finish the assignments.

Breathe, Mobius.

A silent tear traced its way down his face as he took a shaky breath, gripped his pen tightly, and continued working.

Thanks to Mobius’ careful planning and Loki’s brilliant use of magic, the mission went off without a hitch. The Kang in this timeline, a particularly charismatic dictator, somehow hadn’t been expecting each of his closest aides to be replaced by a disguised duplication cast carrying a reset charge, until it was too late and the boardroom dissolved in a shower of orange sparks.

They found themselves swept up in the celebratory mood, and Mobius was seconds away from pinning Loki against a wall and kissing him within an inch of his life before he remembered that they needed to debrief. Their faces were scarcely an inch apart, their eyes linked—and Loki’s hopeful expression crumpled as Mobius turned away.

Fortunately, B-15 saw the whole thing, and was about done with their antics—Mobius’ obliviousness to Loki’s blatant pining, followed by Loki going to greater and more obnoxious and risky lengths to catch Mobius’ attention. If they kept doing this on missions, it was going to get somebody killed.

“Mobius.”

“Bea! Good work out there.”

“Thanks.” She raised an eyebrow at him. “I’ll handle the debriefing.”

“Don’t worry about it, I’ve still got point on this mission.”

Loki sighed as Mobius pulled away, leaving him leaning awkwardly against the wall.

B-15 shook her head. “Nope. I’m using my security clearance to place the both of you on emergency rest leave.”

“Why?” Mobius’ brow scrunched in confusion, a million protests already queuing up until he realized she’d said both of them.

Loki’s attention was piqued. “Me?”

“Wait, and Loki?”

“Have you been getting enough rest, Mobius?” She replied, ignoring his second question.

“I’ve rested…” Mobius looked a bit guilty.

“Recently?” Bea gave him a pointed look. “I don’t mean this as a punishment. But you both seem a little… distracted, and I don’t want to put anyone’s lives at risk.”

“But—” Loki interjected.

“But nothing. Loki, you know just duplicating one of the advisors would have been enough. Replacing all of them, really?”

“Touché.”

She was right, of course. If he could manage all five it was a point of pride, and maybe he’d catch Mobius’ attention. But he recognized what she was doing. In targeting the both of them with criticism, it made Mobius more likely to cooperate. The man had his own unfortunate stubborn streak, and Loki felt intensely and bizarrely grateful.

“Mobius, I know how hard you work on the mission approvals. I know you understand.”

Mobius bristled, his heart racing with the idea of stopping, of things spiraling out of control with no way to stop it. “I have to keep working, we both know how important this is. I need to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.”

“You’re not keeping anyone safe if you’re this exhausted.” Bea huffed. “Have you seen yourself? Face it, Mobius, you’re a liability right now.”

Mobius flushed with irritation, there was no need to make this argument personal, and this was crossing a line into rudeness.

“Mobius,” Loki said, placing a hand on the agent’s shoulder. “Loath as I am to concede it, she’s right. Let’s rest.”

Mobius turned his head, and got a good look at Loki’s face. The god was paler than usual, worn out from overusing his powers yet trying valiantly to hide it. The thought of Loki, weakened and vulnerable, calmed him instantly, and he sighed, embarrassment for his earlier outburst beginning to creep in. “…you’re right, Bea. Sorry about that.”

“Just don’t let it happen again. You're dismissed.” She gave Loki a significant look. “Thank me later.”

Loki nodded and breathed a silent thanks, thinking it as hard as he could and hoping she understood.

The moment they stepped back into the apartment, Mobius could feel his eyelids growing heavy. The adrenaline rush had worn off, and he was crashing hard.

“Mobius, can we—?” Loki started. He just wanted to talk, to ask if there was something wrong.

“Mmm.” Mobius smiled, more than a little weary. He pressed a soft kiss to Loki’s lips, effectively stopping his mouth, but then Mobius staggered, and Loki had to hook his arms around Mobius’ waist to help keep him upright.

“Sorry ’bout that,” Mobius said, giving in to a huge yawn. “Huh. Guess I’m more worn out than I realized.” Loki shook his head, smiling fondly. Mobius was particularly adorable like this, all sleepy-soft and pliant.

Loki stifled a yawn of his own. Casting duplicates of five different people wasn’t difficult, but it did require a lot of focus, and for once he found the idea of sleep to be quite appealing.

“Shh. Let me help you.” Loki could tell Mobius was moments from passing out, and just sighed as he helped him undress and pulled him into bed.

As Mobius curled against him, silver hair tucked up under Loki’s chin, Loki couldn’t help the way his heart ached to share that connection they’d had not so long ago.

We can talk about it later.

Loki awoke naturally, relaxed and comfortable after a good night’s sleep. He rolled over with a smile, his eyes fluttering open… to an empty bed. His heart plummeted. The lights were off, but he could see the yellow glow around the door from the other room. Back to work so soon? Really? Resisting the urge to scream into his pillow—into Mobius’ pillow—he picked himself up and began to get ready for the day.

I suppose it was only a matter of time.

Loki knew he’d miss it intensely, but knew that dragging it out would only hurt more. He swallowed the rising pain down as best he could. It wouldn’t be the first time a lover lost interest in him, though this time Loki had to wonder if he was losing his touch. A god, losing a human lover to paperwork of all things—that was a new low.

Occupying Mobius’ bathroom, he stared at himself in the mirror. Forcing down the gnawing doubts that something about his appearance could have caused his lover to lose interest, he still took extra time on his hair so that it fell just so. He contemplated adding more curves, a subtly different hint of temptation, but decided he wasn’t really feeling it at the moment. Instead, he just conjured himself an elegant, fitted tunic and pants in the Asgardian style. Scrutinizing his reflection, he adjusted the neckline of the tunic to show off his collarbones, and made sure the pants were snug in all the right places. If he was going to be ignored, he was at least going to feel good about the way he looked. If it just happened to make sure Mobius knew what he was missing out on, so much the better.

Perhaps I should consider moving back into my rooms, Loki thought ruefully as he paced back through the bedroom and out into the living room.

“Morning, sweetheart.” Mobius’ voice carried through from the small kitchen as he emerged with a fresh cup of coffee. His eyes skimmed over Loki’s body from head to toe, taking in his outfit. “Wow.”

“Hm?” Loki sauntered over, smoothly taking the cup from Mobius’ fingers and taking a delicate sip.

“You’re awfully dressed up this morning. What’s the occasion?”

“Oh, this?” Loki looked down, despite knowing perfectly well what he was wearing. He gave a small shrug and draped himself across the couch, stolen coffee still in hand. “Just thought I’d relax on my day off.”

Mobius caught the pointed look Loki gave to the pile of documents already strewn across the coffee table, and gave an embarrassed chuckle. “You’re right. This is supposed to be a day off, isn’t it?”

Loki tilted his head in mock-consideration. “You’ll have to remind me since I’m new here, but I’ve been led to believe that’s what emergency rest leave means.”

Mobius frowned. Loki was being awfully prickly this morning, and he could tell something was off. He couldn’t tell exactly what, and the fit of Loki’s clothing was awfully distracting. It’s almost like he—oh. Mobius felt guilt well up in his chest as he realized that Loki had been trying to spend time with him for days now, only to be ignored.

“Hey.” Mobius smiled softly, taking a step closer.

Loki looked up at him, his eyes curious yet guarded. Mobius licked his lips, chasing the remnants of his coffee, and caught Loki’s eyes as they focused on the movement. Bingo.

“Why don’t we take a trip somewhere today, just you and me?”

Loki’s eyes flashed back up to Mobius’, then down at his coffee. “Are you sure? You’re not too busy?” Loki looked pointedly at the stack of files on the table.

Mobius sighed. They were really important, but he could always stay up late and do them later. Right now, he could spend time with Loki and try to undo some of the damage he’d caused.

“Nah. Let’s go.”

Loki raised an eyebrow. “What, right now?”

“Why not?” Mobius grinned.

“Okay.” Loki stood, setting the coffee down on a folder, and crossed his arms. The movement drew Mobius’ eyes to the curve of his chest, the soft play of shadow against his collarbone where a lock of hair carefully fell. Mobius willed himself to look away, forcing himself to go grab his TemPad off its charger.

“Anywhere you wanna go, Lokes?”

“No, not really.” Loki gave another small shrug. “We can go wherever you like.”

Loki’s lack of enthusiasm was really telling. Mobius frowned, looking up from his scrolling. “Are you feeling okay? Should we stay home instead?”

Home. Loki felt a pang in his heart—I should be so lucky—but he really didn’t feel like arguing the point. He shook his head. “I’m fine.”

Something was definitely up, and now Mobius was determined to figure it out. Maybe a relaxing trip was just what they needed. With a careful look at Loki, he dialed in a special destination he had saved in his personal folder.

They stepped out of the orange Time Door onto a beach, the sand glittering gold in the light of dawn. Mobius breathed in the morning air, already warmed by the sea, but not yet hot.

Loki looked around, gathering his bearings, and glancing down at Mobius it occurred to him that he’d shifted into his Jotunn form without even consciously choosing to.

“Hey there, beautiful.” Mobius’ smile was warm, his lips already curling up in a grin that sent a shimmer of lust up Loki’s spine, followed by the sting of realization that maybe this was the only way he’d get what he wanted.

Mobius was clearly attracted to him in this form, but hadn’t shown nearly so much interest back at the TVA.

A sob welled up at the back of Loki’s throat, threatening to choke him, but he forced a smile onto his face, ignoring the way it ached. “Did you have something in mind?”

Mobius watched him closely, but his smile didn’t falter. “I was going to suggest swimming, maybe a few drinks… but you still look unhappy, sweetheart. Is something wrong? Would you rather go somewhere else?”

“Do you like me better this way?” Loki asked, blurting out the question without meaning to. His eyebrows scrunched with conflicting emotions, recalling an earlier conversation in a similar setting. His ruby eyes shone with unshed tears, and Mobius knew he’d missed something extremely important. “I can’t imagine why, I know I look like a monster.”

“What? Sweetheart—” Mobius began, but Loki wasn’t finished talking.

“What is it, the color? Or do you only like it because it’s new and interesting?”

Mobius frowned but remained quiet, listening carefully. Mixed emotions bled into Loki’s voice, and he wanted to at least try to interpret them correctly before putting his foot in it. Again.

“I watched it happen in the reels—people would proposition me,” Loki scoffed, biting his lip to stop its trembling. “I know I’m… exotic.” His eyes flashed with a familiar anger, and Mobius knew he was treading a fine line. “They wanted the triumph of conquering that monster they feared. So if that’s all you want…”

“Sweetheart. Loki.

Loki looked at him, frustrated to the verge of tears.

“What?” he snapped.

“I love you.” Mobius reached out, cupping Loki’s cool cheek in his palm. He smiled, putting every ounce of affection in his entire body into his adoring gaze. “It means so much that you show this part of yourself to me. That you trust me enough to show me something you were taught to despise.”

Loki squeezed his eyes closed against the easy, honest affection, a frozen tear slipping down his cheek. Mobius brushed it away with his thumb and continued.

“I love every part of you, no matter what you look like.”

“But you don’t—you only want to sleep with me when I look like this,” Loki said, opening his eyes only to frown at him.

“That’s not true at all.”

“No?” Loki raised an eyebrow.

“Have you seen yourself? I have definitely wanted to jump you right there in the middle of the hallway. I’d say you have no idea how attractive you are, but you absolutely do. ”

Loki couldn’t stop the crooked smile that crept onto his face at Mobius’ flattery, and he blinked away some more tears. “Oh?”

Mobius kissed his cheeks, wiping away tears with his thumbs. “I know you do, because you use it to drive me crazy all the time.”

“Who, me?” Loki batted his frosted eyelashes, playing coy.

“You are so hot, Loki,” Mobius continued, a grin teasing at his lips. “Sometimes I can’t believe you’d be interested in me, of all people. You could have anyone you want.”

Hurt flashed across Loki’s face. “It’s you I want, not just anyone. You’re the one who…” He paused to gather his words, skipping past understands me, believes in me, loves me as too close to the truth for comfort.

“You’re the only one who wants me.”

“Loki…” Mobius looked at him—watching the way his fragile confidence balanced on a knife’s edge. So often Loki was all false confidence, a show of snark and seduction to hide his true feelings. To be trusted with those honest emotions was more than he’d ever expected, and while he knew Loki would read the look on his face and understand his meaning, he still wanted to say it, to speak his own feelings into reality. “No matter how you change your body or stay the same, it’s that wonderful heart, that incredibly clever brain of yours that fills my heart with so much love I honestly can’t believe it sometimes.”

Loki’s face went through a convoluted series of emotions—shock, bashfulness, and finally settled on a casual, sultry expression. “So why wouldn’t you come to bed with me, hm? I know you heard me,” he teased.

Mobius bit his lip, remembering exactly how hot that had been, how close he’d been to just abandoning his paperwork and taking matters into his own hands, and mouth, and…

“I did, but…”

“But?”

“I have to keep you safe.”

“What?” Loki quirked an eyebrow, irritation blazing in his eyes. “What part of ‘I’m a god’ did you forget? I don’t get hurt.”

“I didn’t forget. And yes, you do sometimes.”

Loki glared, insulted.

“Loki.” Mobius took Loki’s hands in his own, brushing his thumbs in a soothing gesture across Loki’s knuckles. “With all the chaos out there, the chances of us running into something—or someone—dangerous is pretty high.”

“Mobius…”

“Let me finish, please,” Mobius asked, squeezing Loki’s hands to hold his attention. “I’m sorry I ignored you. All that paperwork… it’s to make sure that nothing goes wrong on our missions. I already lost you once. I can’t stand the thought of losing you again.”

Loki watched him closely for a beat, then exhaled a long, deep sigh. “I… I understand.”

“You”—Mobius caught himself before launching into additional explanation—“you do?”

Loki rolled his eyes, but his lips quirked up in a tiny smile. “Of course. You’re mortal, Mobius. Don’t think for a moment I don’t know what that means. But you don’t have to do it all yourself.”

And oh, Mobius hadn’t thought about it like that.

“I… you’re right.” Mobius muttered, nodding as the reminder of their reality struck him. Time worked differently in the TVA, but there were no guarantees. Mobius’ existence was a blip in the lifetime of a god, and while he wanted to spend more time with Loki in the long-term, instead he’d ignored him and denied them both that time together. Worse still, he hadn’t explained any of his thoughts and had just brushed off Loki’s advances, making him feel like he wasn’t enough.

“I’m really sorry, Loki.” Mobius lifted his hand and pressed a kiss to Loki’s knuckles. “I should delegate more, and stop trying to take everything on myself.”

“Yes, you should.” Loki fixed him with a haughty glare, more for effect than to express any real ire. His eyes were still a bit sad, and Mobius continued, not wanting to leave the apology unfinished.

“I’m sorry I made you feel unwanted, or that I only wanted you for part of who you are. I’d love to make it up to you, if you’d let me…?” He brushed his lips across the back of Loki’s hand and offered him a sweet smile.

Loki huffed, vaguely annoyed with himself at the way he knew he’d forgive Mobius instantly. He loved the infuriating Midgardian too much not to. It was an appalling weakness, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Take me back to your apartment and show me.”

“Can do.” Mobius’s smile widened, his eyes growing heated as he brushed kisses against Loki’s fingertips.

“Actually—” Loki pursed his lips, considering. Stepping closer, he twined an arm around Mobius’ waist. “Since we’re already here, we might…”

“Take advantage of the location?” Mobius smirked. “I’m serious, though. I’ll make love to you in any form you choose.”

Loki flushed, his cheeks darkening at the reminder of Mobius’ desire. “I suppose I’ll choose to believe you, for now.” Loki leaned in, cool breath ghosting against Mobius’ lips. “You’ll just have to show me again later.”

Mobius smiled, shivering with the thrill of arousal more than the chill. Or is it the same thing, really, he thought, as Loki’s lips skimmed his own.

“As you wish.”

Desire swept through him as their lips met and Loki leaned down, pulling Mobius tightly against him, tugging him close with one hand twined into short silver hair. Loki’s other hand rested at the base of his spine, firm against his backside, guiding their hips to grind together in a delicious press of friction. Mobius’ hands tangled in Loki’s dark locks, clinging for dear life as Loki drank him in, the intensity of their kiss building until Mobius felt dizzy, lightheaded from the lack of air and the blood pooling in his hips.

“Hah—Loki, you—” Mobius spoke between gasps, his chest heaving to fill with air before Loki was dragging him in again, exploring the taste of coffee on his tongue, reveling in the slick, perfect heat of his mouth, the careful graze of teeth against his lower lip as Loki nipped at him.

Mobius was aching in his slacks. Pressed flush as he was against Loki’s body Mobius could feel the truly impressive erection resting against his belly, and he swallowed hard against the way his mouth began to water at the thought of it. Loki was much bigger like this—more than a head taller, and broader to match—and Mobius loved to savor his true form this way. To worship him properly, as befits a god-prince.

Loki’s broad hands kneaded at his ass, squeezing the soft flesh and lifting him slightly, pressing a finger against Mobius’ hole through the fabric.

Mobius moaned into Loki’s mouth, and Loki pulled back with a soft chuckle.

“God, Loki,” Mobius gasped.

Loki hummed in question, smirking against Mobius’ lips.

“Can I help you?”

“I need you.” Mobius was desperate, his limbs shaking as Loki stoked the heat of his arousal into a wildfire. “You’re so hot…

“Hot?”

“Not hot. Uh, cold?” Mobius cast about for the right words, distracted by Loki’s continued teasing, thick fingers pressing up between his legs, grasping firmly and lifting him just enough to leave no doubt in his mind as to Loki’s superior strength.

Mobius let out a wordless groan, rocking his hips back against Loki’s grip.

“Loki, I just—hah—I need you.”

“Hmm, is that so?”

Mobius nodded frantically, and Loki’s mischievous smile spread into a wicked grin, giving his ass another squeeze before setting him down and pulling away.

“Perhaps I should ignore you for a bit, just to make you suffer.”

“I deserve that,” Mobius gasped, his legs threatening to give out from under him as his feet wobbled in the sand. He sagged as Loki let him go, stepping back to look around.

“Where did you intend to bring me, Mobius?” Loki asked with an innocent smile.

“There’s, uh, a beach house up there.” He gestured up toward a stand of unusually large palm trees.

“Perfect.” Loki’s smile was all teeth, and he gently patted Mobius on the ass as he sauntered up the beach, not looking back to see if Mobius was following.

Mobius grimaced as he willed his legs to work properly, holding off his arousal as much as possible as he hurried awkwardly after Loki. By the time he reached the beach house’s wide porch, Loki had already disappeared inside, and his soft noises of approval could be heard through the open door.

The room was more spacious than Loki had expected, with an extra-large bed at its center, surrounded by romantic sheer curtains cascading down from the ceiling. Loki noticed with pleasure that not only was the ceiling high enough to stand comfortably, the bed was long enough for him to stretch out even in his Jotunn form. He did so, draping his long body over the bed’s surface, ridding himself of his clothes with a simple gesture.

Mobius reached the door and was immediately treated to the sight of Loki spread out in his full nude glory, fingertips idly teasing his length as he sighed softly, smiling up at him. Mobius’s knees threatened to buckle and he managed to stagger forward to the edge of the bed, a smile tugging at his lips. Loki looked every bit the majestic prince, surveying his domain.

“You like the accommodations, I take it, your majesty?” he teased.

Loki quirked an eyebrow, but smiled, picking up on how Mobius expected this to go.

“Hmm, they’re… adequate.”

Loki let out a breathy sigh as he conjured some more lubricant, stroking himself as gently as he liked, teasing himself into a heightened state of arousal. He arched his back, writhing into what he knew was an appealing pose, slightly tousled and utterly fuckable.

Mobius leaned forward, beginning to crawl onto the bed, and Loki clicked his tongue. “You can join me when I’m good and ready, Mobius. You did make me wait quite a long time, after all.”

Mobius swallowed loudly, his hands clenched into fists as he restrained himself from moving. If Loki wanted him to wait, he would wait. “Okay.”

Loki continued to tease himself, stroking his incredible length oh-so-slowly, each little moan and whine falling from his lips making Mobius’ breath catch in his throat, his arousal aching in his hips. He was burning up inside, aching for it, like he’d been lost in the desert and Loki was a tall, ice-cold drink of water. Gods, what he wouldn’t do to get that absolutely gorgeous cock inside him. At this point he didn’t care how—he’d swallow him down, choking himself until his jaw ached, he’d ride him, ice numbing the delicious burn of the stretch, or let himself be held down and taken—all he wanted was to be thoroughly ruined.

Mobius swallowed hard, imagining the taste of Loki’s spend on his tongue, filling his mouth with icy bliss, sweet-salt and refreshing. Loki gasped, his hand beginning to move faster as his own pleasure drew nearer. He was an absolute vision of loveliness, dark hair splayed out on the pillow, his azure skin vibrant against the snow-white linens.

Mobius swayed, absolutely dizzy with lust, and Loki held out a hand to steady him.

“Sit, if you must.”

Mobius shook his head. He’d hold out as long as he could, Loki deserved that much. His eyes tracked Loki’s hand, hypnotizing in its rhythmic motion. His ears perked up as Loki’s breath hitched, panting a little with the rising tide of his pleasure. He could smell Loki’s clear arousal—rich and sweet yet a little ice-sharp. It was no different from how he smelled any other time, come to think of it, just more so—and just waiting beside the bed, his knees threatening to lock and his heart beating wildly in his chest, it occurred to Mobius that he was experiencing Loki in a way he’d never done before. Watching him was familiar, but every other sensation added an extra layer of nuance. He sighed happily, his lips curving up in a smile.

Loki grinned back for just a moment, obviously pleased, and gave in to sensation. Mobius couldn’t take his eyes away from Loki’s expression as he gasped, his chest heaving as he came, pulsing slush over his belly, his eyes squeezed shut and his brow knitted with the intensity of the orgasm flowing through him. After a moment, he relaxed, blinking slowly up at Mobius with a dazed smile.

“Mmm, that was just what I needed.” Loki’s voice was pitched low, and Mobius swore he could feel the words pressing individually against his skin. Loki lifted his hand away from his cock, eyeing a smear of icy come that had spilled onto his thumb.

Mobius’ eyes flicked over to follow the motion, and he licked his lips again, his mouth suddenly too dry to speak.

Loki flicked his tongue out and tasted it, making a thoughtful face before looking back up to gauge Mobius’ reaction. His blue eyes were dark, his face paler than usual with the effort of keeping himself together.

“You look a little parched, Mobius. Why don’t you come here and have some?”

In the blink of an eye he was scrambling across the bed, faster than Loki had ever seen him move, bent down on hands and knees licking the melting slush off of Loki’s chest and belly with long, messy laps of his tongue. Loki groaned, throwing his head back with a bitten-off curse.

Mobius made only a soft, pleased noise as he continued, licking up every trace of spend with his scalding-hot tongue. His attention was entirely focused on this task—the offer Loki had extended to him—and he would carry it out to completion. He wanted all of it, he needed it with every fiber of his being.

“Mobius. What an interesting little human, so obedient.”

Loki threaded his fingers through Mobius’ hair, catching him mid-lick and tugging his head upward to meet his gaze. Mobius’ eyes were hooded with arousal, his tongue out and his moustache damp with slush. Loki had never seen him so… biddable before, and his cock twitched with how appealing that idea was. That expression told him he could do anything he wanted, and Mobius would comply willingly and enthusiastically. Still, he had to be sure.

“Is this what you want, darling?” He tightened his fingers in Mobius’ hair, and he arched his back with a soft gasp. “To submit to me—to a Jotunn prince?”

“Only—hah—” Mobius panted, swallowing his last mouthful of slush. “If that’s what you wanna give me.”

Loki frowned. He hadn’t had positive experiences regarding this form until Mobius, but thinking about it, the pang of fear and anger never came. Seeing Mobius’ arousal wasn’t new, but to be this aroused, this trusting, this willing to be manipulated, and giving the choice to Loki to be rougher if he wanted… Loki blinked back the beginnings of tears.

“Loki?” Mobius blinked, and his eyes were a little closer to normal. “I don’t want you to be uncomfortable.”

This man is incredible. I truly am lucky.

Loki hummed thoughtfully. “Mm, you’re lucky I’m feeling so generous today.”

In a flash, Mobius found himself splayed out on the mattress, face down as Loki manhandled him into place. Mobius reached up to fumble at his belt and yelped as Loki hauled him back onto his lap, spreading his thighs to provide better access.

“Why would you deprive me of this, Mobius?” Loki growled, kneading Mobius’ backside with both hands, spreading and squeezing the cheeks. He began to stroke a finger along the cleft, lining up the pad of his finger just over his hole and pressing with his thumb at the delicate stretch of flesh below it. Mobius let out a muffled whine, his face pressed thoroughly into the bedding. Every single touch was calculated to drive him wild, and Loki knew that he knew.

“Hah… I didn’t mean to…” Mobius finally managed to turn his head in order to speak, and reached back up to his belt to try and remove the fabric layer keeping Loki from touching him directly.

Loki huffed softly in annoyance, and Mobius gasped as his clothing disappeared in a shower of sparks and he suddenly felt the full chill of Loki’s thighs against his belly.

Mobius felt himself lifted as though he weighed nothing, his heart skipping a beat as his hips were angled upward—and then a cool pressure prodded at his entrance. The head of Loki’s cock brushed against it as he rocked his hips forward in a gentle rhythm, teasing and pressing in a thrilling combination of icy chill and delicate skin. A strangled groan forced its way out of Mobius’ throat as his mind faded to static with the continued sensation. He wanted more so badly, but he knew Loki would make him wait even longer if he asked.

All he could do was gasp, his arms folded helplessly beneath him, his face angled roughly into the sheets as Loki continued moving, rutting against him and coaxing his own cock back to full, glorious hardness. It wasn’t until he heard Loki chuckle that he realized he was babbling, a combination of Loki’s name and a variety of helpless pleas, the breath punching out of him with each slick slide.

“Loki—hah! Please—please, I need you—”

“If you need me so badly, you’ll take what I give you.”

“Yeah, yeah I will,” Mobius agreed, nodding frantically, his cheek smushed against the mattress.

Loki gazed down on the little human before him, so desperate and ready to be taken, Mobius’ cock flushed red and hard where it dangled untouched between his legs. Loki couldn’t help the shiver that rolled through him—he wasn’t used to taking this kind of aggressive role, but it was an interesting change, to say the least. Especially with such an enthusiastic partner.

Conjuring some lubricant in his palm, he poured some over Mobius’ waiting entrance, pressing in with a long, thick finger. Mobius groaned, and Loki worked his finger inside, teasing, and watched with intense pleasure as it slowly disappeared into him, one knuckle at a time. He could feel Mobius’ heat, the spark of warmth within him that was so different from Loki’s natural form, yet so familiar. Intimately so, he thought, working his fingers in a slow, patient rhythm, adding lubrication until Mobius was relaxed, his hole utterly dripping.

Mobius breathed hard beneath him, overwhelmed by sensation—the finger inside him teasing but not enough to really satisfy him. Loki pulled his hand away long enough to slick himself, and then Mobius groaned, the sensation of being so thoroughly filled overwhelming every other bit of sensory input as Loki pressed inside.

The sight of Mobius beneath him, oddly small and tangibly fragile from this angle, was a thrilling rush. He moved slowly, extremely careful not to injure his mortal lover, but the blinding heat of Mobius’ body was incredibly compelling and he found himself struggling to maintain control.

“Fuck, you feel amazing.”

Mobius mumbled something incoherent, and Loki chuckled as he began thrusting his hips, plunging into delicious heat, his earlier frustration rapidly dissolving.

The willing submission, the absolute trust Mobius placed in him was intoxicating, and he knew that even having come once, he wasn’t going to last long.

Sliding a hand under Mobius’ belly and up to his chest, Loki lifted him with incredible strength, propping Mobius up against him as he continued to move with shallow thrusts.

“Look at you,” Loki purred, “so hungry for my cock. Simply gorgeous.”

“You’re gorgeous…” Mobius murmured, smiling with adoration.

“Shh, kjærlighet.”

Mobius nodded dazedly, wordless grunts and sighs escaping his throat as Loki moved him as easily as a toy. ‘I wouldn’t mind that’ drifted through the haze of his mind like a wisp of cloud, and he relaxed against Loki’s chest, the cold-marble of his skin hardly registering beyond a pleasant chill. Just like that, impaled on a glorious cock and held tightly in Loki’s embrace, all his stress—of running the TVA, the piles of unfinished paperwork, the constant thoughts racing around in his mind to keep everyone safe—faded to the merest whisper.

For the first time in weeks, Mobius felt at peace, and Loki felt powerful. Not in a “kneel before me, mortals” kind of way—he felt strong, and somehow worthy of the praise he’d demanded for so long, and that was now offered freely and without hesitation. It was humbling, and Loki blinked back tears as he felt Mobius fully relax in his embrace. In order to begin to repay him, he brought his free hand up to stroke Mobius’ neglected cock.

Mobius gasped, a renewed bolt of need arcing up his spine, and Loki hardly stroked him twice before he was moaning wordlessly, coming in molten spurts over Loki’s fingers, shaking apart as Loki came again as well with a splash of ice.

He hardly noticed as Loki lowered him back down to the bed and cleaned him with a ripple of magic. Every nerve in his body hummed with pleasure as he drifted into a peaceful doze with Loki curled around him, once again in his warm æsir form, soothing him with soft touches.

Loki awoke some time later feeling pleasantly refreshed, with a familiar ache in his thighs. He rolled over with a smile, remembering only at the last second his utter disappointment from the last time. This time, however, his lips found silver hair, and his smile grew as he pressed a kiss to Mobius’ head, looping an arm over his chest and snuggling closer.

“Mornin’, sweetheart.”

“Mmm.”

“Feeling better?”

“Much.”

Mobius smiled, his moustache tickling as he pressed a kiss to Loki’s chest. “I’m sorry we didn’t do this sooner.”

“I’ll forgive you, on one condition.”

“What’s that?”

“…let me do that again.”

Let you? You mean switch?”

Loki smirked. “Something like that. The sight of you beneath me was inspiring, to say the least.”

“Here I was thinking I’d have to beg for it,” Mobius murmured, his face heating slightly with the admission.

Loki grinned, pulling Mobius closer. “Oh, you can count on that.”
