Chapter Text
The halls of U.A. sure fit their prestigious status, if a school could even manage that. Still, they were most definitely larger than Jujutsu Tech’s. Gojo didn’t mind at all honestly, it gave him all the more room to skip around and cackle maniacally over this whole plot. It wasn’t often that he got a chance to go here either, so he would milk this as much as possible. Even as he passed some of the teachers, and held his lucky stars that it was the off season for school, he couldn’t bring the airy feeling in his head down.
Finally the hallways and staircases ended, placing him smack in front of the doors to the notorious principal’s office. He could feel his grin splitting his face by now, eyes alight beneath his blindfold. Though he preferred his sunglasses, it was safer to keep the blindfold on. Waltzing forward, and letting his confidence drive, Gojo giggled internally once the doors opened on their own. Gosh, he forgot how much fun it was to play with the principal here.
Pausing where his seat was, Gojo leaned against it with his cheek pressing into his palm, “Yo, Principal Nedzu!” Someone grunted from elsewhere, startling Gojo a little. He hadn’t noticed the dark-haired man slouched in the corner, who was now staring daggers into the sorcerer. Nedzu didn’t abashed, only peeking around his computer to peer at his guest. Black eyes lightened under fluorescent lights as he took the man in. Gojo grinned, pushing the corners of his lips further, which got him a toothy grin in return, “Gojo! You’re quite early, you know?”
Snorting a little, Gojo covered his mouth with his sleeve, “I wouldn’t call an hour late, early Mr Principal.” The stout only laughed, eyes closing, “For your standards, it is almost as if it is 6 am. However, we do have pressing matters to attend to, yes?” Nodding in agreement, Gojo’s eyes flitted to the other man in the room, “Of course we do, but who’s the other guy?”
Said man grunted, shifting in what Gojo could now tell was an obnoxiously ugly sleeping bag. Still unbothered, Nedzu moved away from his computer and closer to the coffee table, “I apologize for not introducing you sooner, but this is Aizawa Shouta, the homeroom teacher of 1-A. Since your proposal includes the hero students, I felt it best to have a representative of staff from those classes.” He turned to the long haired guy, sweeping a paw towards Gojo, “Shouta, this is Gojo Satoru, he has come today with a proposition.”
Aizawa grunted, pushing himself to his feet, “I’ve heard of him, Nedzu. The underground likes to gossip, and he sure is the focus.” The steely gaze returned, “The strongest sorcerer in the Jujutsu world, huh? What could you possibly need to consult heroes for?” There was no bite in his words, even if they sounded like they were meant to hurt. Gojo leaned into his hand further, “Well that’s what the meeting today is for, right?”
He closed his eyes, knowing the effort was futile beneath his blindfold, “Let me sit then I’ll begin.” Removing his elbow from the back of the couch, he slunk forwards until he slid into the comfy cushions. From where he had been resting, Aizawa slid towards the other couch, taking his place beside Nedzu. Balancing his elbows on his knees, Gojo pinned Aizawa under his gaze, “Since you’re knowledgeable about me, I’m sure you know about curses?”
Nedzu hummed, beginning to pour tea for each of them, “Shouta is a Window as well, Gojo, but he functions as a mercenary type rather than a hired one. He’s mostly been working with Kyoto, though.” Cocking an eyebrow, Gojo leaned back with a whistle, “Quite the repertoire you have here then, Principal. It’s a good thing though, since that leaves some of the more gratuitous words out of the equation.”
Letting the stout finish, Gojo took a small sip of his tea, “As you both know, then, in recent times there has been an upturn of curses. Do you know why?” A small chuckle came from Aizawa, startling Gojo a little. He didn’t know the man was capable of laughing. “It’s very easy to pinpoint, if you know your history,” he seemed to be almost coy with his answer, leaving Gojo to grin wider, “Honestly, if you even knew what caused curses, it would be easy to pinpoint. The rise of Heroes has caused the upturn.”
Gojo could’ve almost weeped, for he was not looking forward to having to be logical. Nodding, he removed his elbows from his knees, “You know your stuff, hero. But that’s where my proposition comes in.” Placing his chin on the back of his hand, Gojo looked to Nedzu, “I want to merge the first years of Jujutsu High with U.A. to create a new course.” He could see from the corner of his eye when Aizawa stiffened, yet Nedzu stayed calm.
He took a sip of his tea, keeping eye contact with Gojo, “I assume the higher ups do not know you came here.” Releasing a small ‘psh’, Gojo shook his head, “You think they would even let me step onto the grounds without an ulterior motive? This is all me, baby.” Nedzu was silent again, studying Gojo with an intensity he hadn’t expected, “But are you here with an ulterior motive? Surely this can’t just be out of the goodness of your heart.”
Gojo didn’t know if he had any of that left, but he still let a saccharine smile grace his lips, “You’re so funny, Principal, has anyone suggested you become a comedian?” When silence graced his remark, Gojo ran his hand through his hair, “Of course I’m here with an ulterior motive, everybody has one after all.” Carefully hooking a finger beneath his blindfold, he lifted one side revealing a single eye, “I want to be designated as the teacher for the class. Class 1-S has a ring to it, doesn’t it?”
Aizawa sighed, melting further into the cushions, “So you want a class of sorcerers, right? But what does that have to do with me?” Letting his blindfold fall back down, Gojo crossed his arms and looked to Nedzu. The stoat coughed, placing his cup down, “Shouta, if this class is approved, they will be working very closely with the hero courses. Since you are the only heroics teacher to have active contact with Jujutsu society, your class will be the first to know about curses next year.”
Obviously that was not what the man was suspecting, if the way he froze was any indicator. His eyes grew crimson as he glared towards Gojo, “You want to expose teenagers to curses?” Gojo raised his hands, but let his smirk stay, “That’s quite hypocritical, y’know? Seeing as I’m the one teaching teenagers to fight curses. But, yes, I do think it’s a good idea. They’ll encounter them one day, especially if the way the statistics have been continues.”
Letting out a sigh, Gojo placed his hands back to his lap, “Aizawa, you seem like a reasonable man.” That got the teacher’s attention, his crimson gaze replaced with the inky black from before. Gojo continued, “Would you rather these kids learn about curses now and even potentially reveal any future Windows, or would you rather let them die in the field, facing something they couldn’t hope to beat.” He knew he had gotten the man hooked, especially when Aizawa slumped backwards with a grunt, “Fine. But if you,” a finger was jabbed towards Gojo, “are going to be a teacher, I want to co-monitor any conjoined classes.”
Once Aizawa was seemingly onboard, Nedzu clasped his paws together, “Wonderful! I believe this will be the start of an amazing future for both heroes and sorcerers. Aizawa,” the man grunted, “you’re dismissed to begin your lesson planning. Gojo.” As Aizawa stood to leave, Gojo turned to look at the principal, “You’ll need to come up with an excuse for the higher ups, yes? And of course you’ll have to inform your current first-years. You have quite the busy time ahead of you. You’re dismissed as well.”
Gojo stood, ignoring the nagging at the idea of actually getting this through to the higher-ups. Dusting his pants off, he stepped forwards towards Nedzu, “To a wonderful partnership between heroes and sorcerers.” Nedzu’s paw slotted into Gojo’s hand, but the principal bore into him, “Do not make me regret this, Satoru.” With that warning, Gojo took his leave. Giving Aizawa a cheeky wave, which made him groan in annoyance, the sorcerer left the premises of the hero school. Now for the hard part; convincing the higher-ups that this was a beneficial idea.

Letting a little hop enter his step, Gojo made a beeline for his classroom. He let the feeling in his chest fester, replaying the faces the higher-ups made at his suggestion. Honestly, it felt a little too easy to get this passed, but he assumed it must’ve been the fact that he was essentially pawning Itadori off to someone else. That dampened the feeling a little, frustration bubbling at the idea of the higher-ups' treatment of the boy.
Dismissing the frustration, he pushed the door open to his classroom. To his further delight, his students were sitting there conversing among themselves. He was lucky that they started school so it would be easier to make this offer. Placing his hands on his hips, he watched as Megumi’s face slowly grew paler at the sight of him. Ah, children, how fast they grew. Quickly, the boy shoved his peers and pointed to Gojo, letting the other two know he was there.
Both of them jolted, straightening up as Gojo walked behind the podium at the front. Leaning casually against it, he grinned at them, “Hey there, kiddos, we’ve got some big news.” Itadori leaned forwards, a grin matching the sun spreading over his face, “Oh, oh! Do we get to go on another mission?” Kugisaki scoffed, pressing the boy’s head down, “He would’ve just said that flat-out if it was a mission!” Letting the two bicker a little, Gojo’s gaze flitted over to Megumi, who was intently studying his face. Seemingly, the teen found something he didn’t like, face souring.
Waiting a moment, Gojo motioned for the two other students to stop fighting. Megumi pursed his lips, “You’re excited about something. If you wanna tell us so bad, just spit it out.” Already used to the sharp tongue of the boy, Gojo let a grin grace his face, “Of course, Megumi. Let’s rip the bandage off right away.” Glancing at the students over his sunglasses, Gojo grinned sharply, “You’ve all heard of U.A, yes?”
Itadori was almost vibrating at the seams once the school was mentioned, however Megumi looked like someone had just spit lemon juice at him. Of course the boy would react like that, Gojo simpered internally, he was raised by Jujutsu sorcerers who had a staunch hatred for heroes. Still he remained quiet, letting Itadori speak, “That’s the biggest hero school in Japan, of course! I mean, you’d have to be living under a rock to not know about U.A.” Gojo nodded, grin softening at the edges, “Correct, Itadori! With that enthusiasm, I’d think you wanted to be a hero when you were younger.”
That got a miffed chuckle out of the boy who nodded assent, “Yea, but when I was diagnosed as quirkless the other kids weren’t exactly encouraging about that dream.” The rage grew in Gojo at the thought, yet it wasn’t as if he was entirely unaware of the treatment of quirkless people. However, it didn’t matter, as all Jujutsu sorcerers were quirkless. Bodies that held the capability to utilize cursed energy just did not have the capability to also host a quirk factor. That was why Gojo also kept an eye on any people registered as quirkless, in case any potential sorcerers slipped out of their radar.
Still, Gojo sent Itadori another grin, “Just think, since you’re quirkless it means you were meant to be taught by me!” That got a small grin out of Itadori so Gojo counted that attempt as a success. Returning to the topic at hand, Gojo clasped his fingers together, “However, I didn’t bring it up for no reason. As of the start of the U.A. school term, you first years will be transferring over to the new Class 1-S.” Now that got Megumi on his feet, “You’re saying we have to be taught by some nobody at a hero school ?” The word was spit with so much venom, Gojo got a little worried that Megumi had ingested some.
Tutting a little, he jutted his finger forwards, “Now where did I say you would be taught by some nobody? You aren’t getting rid of me that easily.” Kugisaki caught on, eyes growing wide, “So that means…?” Placing his finger to his chin, he gave them a smirk, “Meet the newest faculty member of U.A! Now let me explain a little more.”
Taking the packets he had Shoko make for him onto their desks, Gojo continued leaning against the podium. He gave them some respite to read, picking at his fingernails. Deeming that enough time had passed, he knocked his knuckles against the wood of the podium, “So if you didn’t get the gist of it, we sorcerers have found a connection between rising curse numbers and the rise of heroes. As such, I, as your wonderful teacher, proposed to U.A. and the higher-ups a sort of coalition. If we taught the up and coming heroes the consequences of their actions, and the danger curses presented to the world, we could potentially begin to see a decline in newly created curses.”
Megumi was frowning, paper clutched tight in his hands, “So where do we come in? Why do we have to mingle with hero hopefuls?” Tapping a finger against the surface beneath him, Gojo sent a smirk to the boy, “Wonderful question Megumi! You all will be helping us form a bridge between heroes and sorcerers, the bad blood between us has gotten to enough of a point it needs to stop. You will be working closely with the class of 1-A.” His ward looked like he was going to speak, but Gojo just tapped the podium, “Don’t worry, Nedzu made sure he chose a capable class. The teacher is a Window who works with Kyoto, and has close contact with sorcerers in the field, so he’ll be helpful to rein his class in.”
That seemed to satiate the young sorcerer, who leaned back with a huff. Kugisaki didn’t seem to be finished as she twirled one of her beloved nails, “So what, we’ll be twiddling our thumbs waiting in that school for heroes to understand they need to be careful?” Gojo scoffed, “You know the higher-ups wouldn’t allow that. We’re short handed as it is with sorcerers. You three will still be going on missions, but unless they are of utmost importance, your attendance to U.A. will take priority. You’ll also be housed in a shared apartment near the campus.”
Trying to catch Megumi before he got upset again, Gojo twisted to the two boys, “This was a rule from the higher-ups, not U.A.” It seemed to click with Megumi what that meant, which only made the boy frown deeper and gain the same internal rage that Gojo held. Huh, maybe children really do take after their parents.
Humming internally, Gojo gave his students a wink, “So, we’ll be moving you guys soon. Is everyone alright with this? I’m not heartless, I won’t force you to participate.” Nobody made any move to argue, not that it seemed Itadori even would’ve entertained the idea. He was still vibrating behind his desk, leaving Gojo to chuckle a little, “Well then, go pack up your rooms.”
Two of the three nearly sprinted out of the room, pushing and kicking each other to make it to their rooms first. Megumi watched his mentor, warily approaching him, “Is it a good idea to keep Yuuji away from so many sorcerers?” Elbowing the teen cheekily, Gojo stuck his tongue out, “It’s Yuuji now, huh? Not Itadori?” Seemingly catching his slip-up, Megumi’s face was quickly ignited in scarlet, “You know what I mean.”
Lowering his eyebrows, Gojo removed his blindfold and looked at Megumi, “I’ll be right there with you guys, you know that. If anything happens, I’ll still be the one responsible for reporting it. So nothing’s really changed, it’s mostly just a change of scenery and an updated education.” That seemed to calm the boy, who gave him a nod then finally left to go pack.
Sighing, Gojo pushed his hair a little, “This’ll definitely be an interesting year.” He sure hoped U.A was ready. They needed to watch out, after all, especially if Class 1-S and their teacher was coming.
Grinning a little, Gojo made to chase after his students.

Somewhere deep underground, a man’s phone went off. Quickly he opened it up, squinting at the notification. A grin split his lips, pulling at his scar. His hand found purchase on his companion’s head, pulling at the leathery skin, “That’s quite the payment, isn’t it? Why don’t we see what they have to offer?” The creature said nothing, only gurgling at the man. He chuckled, green eyes boring into the phone.
His shoes slapped against the ground, eyes roving for a name. Tugging at the splitting skin of his lips, his face returned to a sneer, “You better follow through with this, League of Villains, or else you’ll find out why they call me the sorcerer killer.”
