Work Text:
Confessing that Silco was the first person you’d ever been with was not quite on the agenda when you’d walked into his office that one rainy evening. But then again, neither was falling into bed with him after he’d slowly removed your sodden clothes with firm yet tender hands.
There’d been a split second where your eyes had met as he gently tugged your coat from your shivering body, which had then rapidly turned into a desperate, passionate kiss, with hands grabbing at one another as he guided you into his bedroom.
Granted, you were a bit apprehensive when he appeared to want to go further than simply pushing his tongue into your mouth and smoothing his long hands across every inch of your body, but you were ready.
If there was anyone you wanted to share your first time with, it was this wonderful, complicated, irrestible man.
You’d felt an inexplicable attraction to Silco from the moment you’d met him, a devastating fascination that had only strengthened in its intensity the more you interacted with him.
And you had an inkling that he felt the same towards you, if the way his eyes always lingered just a little too long on your body was anything to go by. But it was always hard to tell with him.
So, you were beyond delighted when he’d made the first move.
Now, laying back on his soft bed, you still can’t quite believe that everything you’d been wanting to do since you’d first met Silco, had just happened.
The man himself is laying on top of you, his face buried into the crook of your neck as he pants, both of you simultaneously trying to get your breath back as you come down from your high.
And you must still be in a state of overwhelming ecstasy, basking in the afterglow from what you’ve just done with him, because when you finally catch your breath, you speak again.
“How do you feel knowing you were my first?” you blurt out to the ceiling above you.
A beat of silence passes before Silco slowly raises his head from your chest to stare down at you.
It’s dreadfully sobering the way his inscrutable gaze ticks over your face before finally catching your rapidly widening eyes.
Only then do you realise what you’ve just admitted to the Eye of Zaun.
Oh, fuck, why did you just say that?
“I’m your first?” he asks, his voice still hoarse and rough as his breath slowly comes back to him.
Well, you can’t backtrack now.
You nod your head sheepishly, avoiding eye contact with him, despite his own face being inches away from yours.
Instantly, Silco pushes himself off you, climbs off the bed, and wordlessly makes his way into the bathroom.
You watch him in muted horror, your heart resuming its rapid beating after it had only just begun to slow back down. But your panic subsides marginally when Silco returns with a damp cloth in hand. You lay motionless as he gently cleans you, his careful movements soothing your soreness.
It isn’t until he takes in your changed expression and tense body that he begins to look concerned.
“Did I hurt you?” he asks soberly, taking the time to visually examine your body again before his eyes flick back up to meet your own.
You laugh softly, finally relaxing now that you’re less worried he was upset at your confession.
“No, no, you were amazing,” you reassure him, reaching up to gently cup his cheek in your hand.
Silco discards the towel and moves next to you, pulling you under the covers with him until you lay at his side. He wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you towards him so your head lies on his bare chest.
A few moments pass where you almost romantically listen to his heartbeat before he breaks the silence.
“Why didn’t you tell me before?” he asks in a smooth, yet careful timbre.
“I don’t know,” you say bashfully.
You did know, but you didn’t really want to say it now that your thoughts were becoming more normal after the haze.
“But I’m glad it was you,” you hasten to clarify, lifting your head to look at him.
You hope he can see how honest you were being, even if you couldn’t yet tell him outright just how much this meant to you.
Silco catches your chin with his fingers and you match his movements by leaning forward until his lips are pressed against yours once more. His kiss is slow and deep and much more tender than any of the ones you’d shared previously.
Truthfully, you’re slightly overwhelmed by everything that had just happened and everything that was currently happening. You’d been pining for Silco for longer than you’d care to admit, playing a dangerous little dance with the kingpin in the hopes of eventually reaching this outcome.
But you never expected the ruthless industrialist to be this soft and caring.
“If I’d have known, I would have taken my time,” he interrupts your thoughts, speaking against your lips as if he didn’t want to pull away from you for even a second.
You appreciate the gesture, but to you, the way it had all played out had been wonderful in your eyes. Sure, it wasn’t quite what you were expecting, but it had been beautiful in its own way.
“But I suppose there’s always the chance to savour you next time,” Silco continues, his good eye suddenly darkening with desire.
Your own eyes widen at his bold statement and you pull back to stare at him in surprise.
“Next time?” you squeak.
You thought you’d been lucky enough to share this one moment with him, but the idea that he wanted to do this again with you was almost too much for your poor, infatuated heart.
Before you know what’s happened, Silco has deftly flipped you onto your back and is caging you in with his lean body.
He smirks as he slowly moves down, leaving the odd kiss against different areas of your sweat-gleaned skin, until you’re nearly gasping for breath.
Silco pauses at your abdomen, pressing one final, delectable kiss to it before his breath rumbles sinfully across your lower body.
“And by next time, I of course mean now.”
