The gang are now all in Hawkins, struggling to pick up the pieces after Vecna won. Some members still feel the divide left by the drama of the fight, and one especially is feeling heartbroken and devestated. Alone and vulnerable, Will begins to be haunted by illusions of Vecna- and it wants Will on his team.
As everyone races to stop it before the gates open and Hawkins is destroyed, Will and Mike will have to finally face themselves and the shattered remains of their relationship.

I am changing some aspects of relationships/actions to fit a Byler narrative. Also, this is a dark fic+ I do take some liberties with Vecna’s abilities as well as Will’s.
