I was killing time in the university's cafeteria. I had just bouth and iced coffee and was looking for a seat, it was after lunch so there were some open seats here and there.
I could hear steps rushing to the cafeteria, the doors slammed open and I could hear a voice shouting
"imai san!!"
"EH? ah... Sayo...."
She was breathing heavily as she had run all her way here, she looked like she was holding something back, her face looked angry.
The atmosphere was suffocating, I felt scared by it, so I step back and was trying to run away, but as if she read my mind, she grabbed my writs to stop me.
"Please don't run away"
"I... I'm not running away"
"That's a lie. Even now you are walking back. Recently you have been avoiding me"
She put strenght on her arm, and was not letting me go, she got close to hear my answer,
"Do you hate me know?...."
"You're wron..."
"Did you get tired of me? Did I become distraction for you? was I always....troubling you....? Or did you find someone especial?"
I wanted to scream that she was wrong but the words died on my thorat, I really saw Sayo for the first time and was surprised by what I saw. I couldn't see her face well, and the arm she was holding me with was shaking. The other people in the cafeteria, were looking at us, it was not a good situation, I sat her down and got away from her hand.
"Sa...Sayo for now, let's go to a different place where we don't stand out. Let's mo......."
Sayo looked up while sitting down on the chair, tears were rolling from her eyes, and falling to the floor. I froze, I couldn't finish speaking. While crying she desperately tried to continue.
"You don't,,, deny it.... don't push me away from your side... I´m sorry...!! I'm sorry for making you come with me... I'm sorry"""
Her tears kept falling, she was crying her voice was giving out, and she kept crying and apologizing. But she looked straight into my eyes and continued
"but,... please don't leave my side....don't go anywhere please.....I love, I love you. I love you Imai san!"
This was Sayo's desperate confession .
ah, I'm sorry sayo,
Sayo who usually never cries, is balling her eyes out in front of me.
I felt guilty for making her cry, and also for making her confess in this situation.

I don't want her to be sad anymore, Sayo is taller, but even so I opened my arms, and held her in my chest, I got close to her ear.
"Imai...?"
"Sayo, Listen. I love you Sayo. I really love you. I can't be withou you. I only feel calm when I'm next to you. I want everything from you. Your crying face, your smiles, everything, all."
I kissed her ears, her eyes and cheeks. I licked her tears.
"Would you give me all your tears to me? if you want to cry I'll lend you my chest. If you want to smile doesn't matter when or where I will run to your side...
That's why, please ... don't cry alone anymore"
