Chapter Text

"Make sure the bedroom door is slightly opened, rearrange the pillows to make it look like you're sleeping, and make sure you have a safe way to come back in." Chrissy went over his little checklist in her mind dozens of times before finally creeping downstairs. As expected, her dad was currently fast asleep on the recliner while the antenna TV played some random talk show. She waited right for when the show played one of its fake soundtracks and ran towards the door waiting to see if her dad had reacted even in the slightest way- nope, she was home free. The door was very carefully opened to not let the rusty hinges creak. Then it very, very carefully shut it behind her. Chrissy used her house keys to make sure the lock was secure, and then she headed down the driveway and onto the street to await her lover.

Eddie turned down the radio as he made the left turn to arrive at Chrissy’s Street, he wasn't planning on seeing her tonight but the way she sounded over the phone begging for him to come to pick her up for a few hours despite the fact they’d see each other the next day. His outfit was also a dead giveaway, he was unable to find his leather jacket and he knew the hellfire club would be pissed if they had to remake a new one for him again. Instead, he was dressed in baggy sleeping pants that refused to stay on his hips no matter how many times he tightened them and pulled them up, and some mystery stained ACDC shirt. As he approached his angel's house, her silhouette came into view. The long-lost jacket being worn over her sheer pajamas, Chrissy's bright smile forcing one of his own, that fucking thief. His finger that was already placed upon the button to unlock the passenger side had pressed to let her in as soon as she was close enough, the warmth from the car calming her senses from the painful cold of the outside. Eddie's eyes never left her as she sat beside him, an iridescent look not only in her smile that was still on but in her eyes. No wonder she needed to be with him that night. Eddie was all too familiar with that look, she wanted something. "Hey," Chrissy said in a tired yet perky voice, leaning over to his side and pecking his cheeks with her glossed lips. No one just wears lip gloss at night. She'd been waiting for him.

"Hi, sweetheart. Well, I, uh, hate to point it out but you have something of mine don't you?" Eddie's own voice was still raspy and exhausted just as he was on the phone only minutes ago. His head laid back lazily on the headrest of the driver's seat, eyes half-opened and his left hand on top of the steering and his right somehow snuck their way onto her knee as he slowly began to drive. Chrissy's eyes were the ones to be wandering his unnatural form right now. There was no Hellfire shirt, bullet belt, and chunky boots that announced his presence when he was heard from a distance which excited her. No, he was so, so vulnerable and his comfortable attire was so inviting. She wanted him. "Chrissy? Chrissy? Hey." The girl's eyes met up back with his, Eddie breaking the contact occasionally to look out on the road. She noticed his eyes darted to her torso. No. Arms? Shit, the jacket. He wasn't in his leather-clad cover either, all because of her. "Oh! Right, yeah sorry. I was just holding onto it for you. Think you must've forgotten it from one of our last visits, or something." Chrissy looked down at her fingertips that barely reached out of the sleeves that belonged to the young man beside her, fiddling with it. "Really? Was it that or did you just feel like you needed a change from that cheer cardigan you always got on?" He said with a tease while the thumb on his right hand gently caressed her knee. It almost felt like nothing but yet at the same time, everything as the butterflies in her stomach became less subtle. "Both? You can have it back if you-" Chrissy said apologetically as she sat upright to shrug it off, but his hand went up to her shoulder and made her sit back down. "No, no. You can wear it. Just um, I'm gonna have it back in a bit. Not now." He reassured her with a sweet smile, but she could've sworn she saw a twinge of mischievousness behind it. What could he have meant by that? Why not have it now? If anything she felt sorry. But the more he asked the more stupid it became. Their bodies were forced to sway to the left as Eddie made a very round and slow right turn, keeping his hand on her legs and her hand leaving on his bicep. They kept like that for a few more seconds until they were back straight on the road. His hand was still positioned the same, so she didn't see the point in moving hers. The silence had become a little too strong. It was funny really, despite all their encounters, both Chrissy and Eddie felt like younger kids again whenever they actually had to talk instead of fucking. It almost made him feel awful. Is that what Chrissy thinks about what they are? Fuck buddies? The rest of the car ride was spent in tense silence, Eddie's touch seemed genuinely comforting yet not many words were spoken. She could tell there was something on his mind. The view from the windows shifted from a suburban road to being surrounded by trees, minutes passed as the tires of his run-down Audi were driving over potholed roads and uneven mounds of gravel. “You alright?” Eddie asked in a disquieting way. “Hm?” Chrissy's blonde ponytail swayed a little as her head shot up to look back at him. “I know my place isn’t the best, y’know? I was actually thinking of maybe taking you somewhere nicer tonight for a change, so-” “No, please it's okay.” She interrupted with a quick yet subtle shake of her head. She could already tell they were close to his trailer, she can't wait for another minute to finally be with him despite the fact she was already next to him. Eddie shrugged with an acknowledging grin. “Right. It's not your first time, is it?” He said while making a left turn which pulled them into his neighborhood if that's what it could even be called. Such a straightforward sentence was enough to make her cheeks dusted with pink. Memories of nights at his place infiltrated her mind, making her clear her throat as she gave another nod. “Uh-huh.” Chrissy may have seemed like the type to be lavish enough to seem picky about the places she’d want to go, but that's not how it was the more Eddie got to spend time with her. At the end of the day, they both wanted the same thing, which was to spend any moment they had alone with each other. No one else, just the pair lost in their own fantasies. Here she was, sneaking off to be with him.

The Audi slowed down and came to a near stop in front of the mobile home she was all too familiar with. As soon as she heard the jingle of his car keys as the headlights turned off and the warm air came to a stop she went to open her door, only to see Eddie had rushed out from his side and slammed the door to open hers instead. “If you wanna come to my shitty place, the least I could do is make you welcome.” Chrissy snickered a bit at his expression and got out of the car, Eddie keeping a hand on her lower back as he guided her to the tattered front porch. It was such a small action that had yet made the butterflies in her stomach flutter a little faster. The keys were pulled out again and this time he chose the one to unlock the rusted doorknob, giving the door itself a bit of a shove to have it open. “Make yourself at home.” That she did. She walked in and immediately smelled of the smoke, weed, and strange essence of beer. The door was closed again behind them, and as Chrissy's eyes wandered again she felt something tap the front of her shoe before she took another step. “Shit, sorry about that. I would’ve cleaned up but you kinda called me last minute.” Eddie wanted to kick himself for how embarrassing it must've been but then again, she didn’t mind. “Don’t worry, Dad keeps cans of Coke around his recliner in the living room all the time. I’m used to it.” Heavy steps coming from Eddie himself were heard as he made his way over to the fridge, reaching for a beer and a beverage for her as well. “Speaking of,” His hand came up to reveal a Coca-cola drink, tossing it to Chrissy. She could almost feel her heart drop but fortunately caught it in her hands. “Thanks.” There was a bit of levity in her voice as a smile came on her face, keeping the drink in her hand. “So…what did you want to do?” Eddie asked as he cracked open the cap of his drink and took a sip from his beer as he awaited a response. “I kinda just wanted to see you? But maybe seeing a movie would be fine.” Chrissy’s response was plausible enough to make him wear a smile as well this time, giving a single nod and shutting the fridge door. “TV, right. Classic.” Going over to his boxy television in the center of the living room, he searched for the remote and pressed the power button to reveal any channel. Nothing but static. Eddie looked over at her with a sheepish look on his face as he mentally cursed out the inanimate object in front of him. The girl stood patiently as she watched him struggle to get it working. “So! That things beaten to shit. Um, you don’t mind going to my room instead, do you? Got one that works better than this.” His hand threw the remote to the side onto one of the couches for him to frantically search for later. Chrissy nodded. “Of course, I don’t mind.” To Eddie's surprise, she had already turned the other way to pace toward his room. A small laugh left his lips at the fact she seemed to have remembered where it was even if it wasn't such a big deal. Chrissy took only a few more steps until she had made it to his room. Posters of his favorite bands were stuck to the wall messily just like everything else was in his room. Clothes piled onto the end of his bed and others scattered on the floor around it. A single lamp to dimly brighten his darkroom. Of course, his beloved guitar he had shown off to her the first time she came over and only let her touch once. It was all so comforting because it was so..him. She took the view all at once in only a matter of seconds before she found a spot to sit at which was on the edge of his bed, the TV right across from it set upon the lowboy desk had already seemed to have been running on since he’s left the house. Chrissy took a seat on the spot which her eyes designated on and as soon as she did, Eddie walked in. Seeing him look almost homey with his current set of pajamas he wore with even a drink in his hand entranced her for a few seconds. He looked amazing. Pleasing to the eyes as if he were a cold pool on a scorching day. Her tempted thoughts were waved away as Eddie sat right beside her, the mattress underneath them squeaking from the springs it contained.

Chrissy didn't know what to do or say, she wanted the tension between them to dissolve. She wanted to cuddle into his side, be a mess of tangled limbs under the covers as they slept, every corny thing she had read about and seen from others she craved it, not just with anyone though. Not with Jason either. “..Do you want to do that thing?” Chrissy asked as Eddie began to get comfortable in bed, his mind immediately going to another place. “What thing?” “That thing where you smoke and sometimes I do it too.” Eddie kicked himself mentally as he got up and went to his worn down dresser, placing his condensation bottle of beer on top of it while searching through the cabinets until he found what he was looking for; A rolling tray, small papers that had a parchment texture, and a small baggie with already grounded marijuana. “If you want to change the channel do so, if the remote doesn't work just get up and hit the TV a few times.” The movie currently playing was something that came out years ago but Chrissy didn’t mind it, the chemistry between the two actors wasn't plausible in the slightest which made it more of a comedy rather than a romantic soap opera. She had set her can off to the side of his nightstand as Eddie worked on rolling it up. Chrissy scooted back in his bed letting her back hit the wall until her temporary comfort had worn off into discomfort and she had resorted to lying down. It wasn't like she hadn't done it before even if it was just once. When Eddie turned around to set the rolling tray on the nightstand to catch any ashes, he was surprised at how easily the cheerleader made herself at home, it looked like the bed belonged to her instead of him. “Cmere,” Eddie took a seat on the bed and put a pillow on the wall behind him, then patted the spot next to him so Chrissy could take her rightful place.

Without any sign of hesitation coming from Chrissy, she sat up to lean into his side feeling a wave of drowsiness wash over her as her chin rested on his shoulder, watching him bring the blunt up to his lips temporarily holding it in between his lips as he flicked on the lighter and lit the end of it as it glowed in front of their faces. The lighter was promptly tossed to the side as he took his first hit, Eddie's weed was by no means top quality but hey, it got the job done. Soon enough he was feeling the buzzing sensation tingling at his fingertips. He noticed Chrissy had been quiet beside him and turned his head to look at her, only to find a pair of blue eyes gazing up at him- no, at his lips. “It's rude to stare y’know? How about you actually come here.” Chrissy had no idea what he was talking about until his legs were stretched out comfortably on the bed and he patted his lap as if the seating were reserved just for her. After a split second of uncertainty, she lifted her head and sat up on her knees to almost collapse on his lap. With her back pressed against Eddie’s chest, her eyes remained on the small screen and did her best to not feel as flustered, but with the way, his free hand snaked around her waist and rested atop of her thigh rubbing small circles with his calloused thumb as he too became engulfed in the screen? It was hard not to. “Ed?” “Hm?” “Can I try some?” Eddie held the joint out for her to take but she meekly shook her head and tilted back just so she could look up at him. “Not that way.” Eddie couldn't help but smirk as he took a drag and tilted her chin up just enough for her to part her lips and inhale the smoke he blew into her mouth ever so carefully. Chrissy had no idea how many times they repeated the process but eventually, the remainder of the blunt that was the size of about a pinky was set down on the tray and all that was left were messy uncoordinated kisses. At that point, they both knew exactly why Chrissy had wanted to meet up so late into the night, and it only made sense to act upon it now. The movie was nothing but background noise but when Eddie pulled away leaving the cheerleader breathless and flustered, it suddenly became of interest to him. “Eyes on the screen sweetheart.” Of course, this fucking tease made her look forward as he tugged on the silky pink hairband holding up her hair, the blonde locks falling onto her shoulder just so he could move some of her hair out of the way to nip at the back of her neck, his favorite indiscreet spot to mark her.

A hand slipped its way until her pajama bottoms easily shoving her underwear to the side as he dragged his finger to the entrance of her cunt, Eddie felt needy most of the time so their foreplay consisted of her thighs wrapped tightly around his head and her nails pulling on his scalp, but right now? Eddie just needed to feel her fall apart so he could properly fuck her. One finger turned into two which became three. Chrissy desperately ground her hips down onto the part of his palm that was pressed against her clit, practically riding his fingers seeking any kind of relief. The effects from the weed she puffed on only moments ago might've made her more sensitive than usual because soon enough her pleasure-filled sobs became louder than the long-forgotten movie, she clenched around Eddie when his fingers curled into the spot he had been ignoring for the sake of her hearing her beg pathetically. “Oh fuck, Eddie I'm gonna-” He stopped, pulling the most magnificent whine from the angel on top of him, and boy was she a sight to see. The loose, thin straps of her shirt had fallen off of it and her chest was constantly rising and falling. She was a mess but an annoyed one due to her ruined orgasm. Before the repetitive complaints began rolling in, Eddie already answered the question she was going to ask, "why?" “Shh, don't worry about it. You’ll get what you want, just relax.” What was so upsetting about his little words of reassurance is that he didn't seem serious. Knowing Eddie and his nature, this edging could go on for what felt like forever. He was a mastermind at bending how time felt between the two of them when it came to fulfilling their physical desires because Chrissy had become like putty by even the most simple yet sensual touch that made her body feel like it was on fire and her lower half rearranged. Minutes would pass and he'd make it feel like hours. She loved every bit of it. After another ruined orgasm Chrissy was sick of it. Her eyes met his once more Eddie let out a breathy chuckle when he saw her expression and before he can give her a snarky comment Chrissy surprised him with “go fuck yourself.” Oh. She knew it was a dumb thing to say when he raised his eyebrows, a scoff leaving his mouth this time instead of his usual devious laughs. Eddie withdrew his fingers, taking her hand and repositioning it to rest where he once was. "Actually, since you want it so bad, do it yourself. Go on, show me how you like it." Chrissy looked at him in disbelief, had he actually expected her to do it? “I know you know how to. I bet you think about me while doing it all by yourself, right?” The shift in his tone of voice became a form of mockery and his teasing only aggravated Chrissy but yet she couldn't find the courage to show it, not now. She despised him for this. Hated how she only thought about the two of them in every possible sinful position as she started playing with her neglected clit, hated how she could feel him playfully smirk against her neck and caress her shoulders all the way down to her forearms as she rubbed herself in all the right places to suffice her desperate cravings. They both could tell by the way her back had started arching and her teeth sinking into her bottom lip with a sharp intake of breath, she had finally come undone as she finished what Eddie had started, making her body immediately slump backward onto Eddie as he was petting her now frizzy strands of hair out of her face, carefully brushing his fingers on top of her bangs once Chrissy came down from a climax.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" Eddie gently rubbed her sides as she turned back to look at him. “It was. It doesn't feel the same.” He jestered, pinching her cheek while his cooking came off as rather condescending. "I'll take care of you now, alright?" Chrissy was gently lifted and pushed off his lap. She thought she was meant to sit beside him but his hands that glided to her thighs only told her to face him, straddling him as he gave kisses to her bright pink lips as if they were to make up for him being bothersome just seconds ago, to which she gladly accepted. Her knees bent once more and Eddie's arms had held her close and tight. The kisses started as pecks, short and sweet. Until they had both grown to want more again, the sensation between their legs begging to exude some feeling of satisfaction, but synchronized this time. Before the struggle could go on any longer, Eddie made sure his hold on Chrissy's torso was secure before he leaned forward so she was now underneath him. No words were exchanged at that moment which was probably the best for the two of them. Their actions spoke louder than words alone ever could. Chrissy's head was set down on top of a pillow, Eddie preparing his position between her legs by simply having her open her legs and press against his sides. Her delicate hand went up to have a hold of his jaw while the kiss still lasted. A sudden tug was felt on her top. There were multiple moments Eddie felt upon her breasts and had railed her with her skirts and underwear still on and he's even seen her without them, but his unexpected desire of him wanting her bare torso and body exposed sent a quick nerve of panic to her mind. "Wait." She separated her lips from his for a moment, her large eyes making contact with his. "Why, what's up?" Eddie asked with a heightened sense of concern in his voice. "I..Can't I keep the top on? I just don't like it to be- seen?" Just hearing herself trying to explain that she'd rather not expose her greatest insecurities to Eddie made her feel a little bashful, and nervous. Would this be a turn-off for him? Did he find it uncanny? Cretinous? Paranoia came over her as what could have been going on through his mind flooded her thoughts. The silence was short but to her, it felt like forever due to her contemplation until Chrissy felt the bed dip deeper as Eddie had straightened back up. Ready to clothe herself again, she had heard two clicks and the room had gone dark beside the small TV being their last weak source of light. Not even a second after she could just feel Eddie hovering above her again, a kinder and comforting feel to his kiss this time. "Look, I can't even see you. Is that better?" A rumble of laughter that had brewed in the girl's chest had crept up and found its way to burst into a sound of amusement, along with a nod to his genuine question. "Yeah, that's better." Luckily they could somewhat still see one another's silhouette by the TV, so Eddie got right back to it as he carefully peeled the silk top off of Chrissy until she was now fully nude under the sheets with him. While he dusted kisses back down to her shoulder, she had found the ending hem of his band tee and pulled it over his head, leaving him with a bare chest. There she could see his collarbone had been decorated with some tattoos she remembered he'd shown her in the forest the day they'd met up again since middle school. Her mind was infiltrated yet again when Eddie's hand snuck to one of her breasts and massaged it carefully, a gentle moan coming through the thin space of her lips.

“Sweetheart, roll over,” Eddie whispered into her ear even though they were the only ones in the house although he knew he was going to get shit from his neighbor once the sun came up. Chrissy reached out for one of his hands once she was on her stomach. This made him get butterflies. It never failed to make him blush when she acted all needy for him. Eddie's hand scrambled for the nightstand making sure to press the forgotten blunt down onto the cheap wood to put it out, then he opened the small drawer and mindlessly felt around until he felt the plastic wrapper he was looking for. The condom was brought up to his teeth so he could tear it open while the hand that was previously laced with Chrissy's momentarily let go to shove down his sleeping pants and boxers just enough to roll the condom on without feeling fabric brush against his cock. Eddie took her hand again and pinned it right above her head putting his weight on his forearm so he wouldn't crush her. Inch by inch he pushed into her cunt until he heard a painful muffled whine- muffled? He squinted in the darkness to see her face buried into one of his pillows, but that wouldn't do at all. Her head was lifted by a soft tug of her hair, Eddie leaning forward just enough so they’d be in whispering range. “Just us two sweetheart, go ahead and let me hear.” Chrissy oh so wanted to shake her head and say something contradicting, about how it was still embarrassing. Yet both of her wrists were suddenly pinned behind her back so she couldn’t even think about trying to cover her mouth. He tried to not push her past her limits, being cautious with his thrusts but Chrissy wanted more of him. Sure it could be attractive when he took his time with her, rutting mindlessly into her while they slowly approached their climaxes but right now she was craving something different, something that would leave her unfulfilled until she got a taste again. “Eddie, I need you.” He had to force his hips to stop, lord the hold this dearest girl had on him. “But you have me, sweetheart.” “All of you Eddie.” Chrissy knew she had won when she felt him huff against her neck and pull out of her, a little squeal escaping her lips as he manhandled her onto her back.

He knew he was ruined for any other woman the minute her hands reached out for him in the dark, gripping onto his hair to steal some kisses from him. He knew he would never look at anyone else the same way he did with her when her thighs came to wrap around his waist, desperate pleads spewing from her as he rammed back into her, giving Chrissy exactly what that precious little heart of hers desired. “You’re getting it all now, gorgeous. No more bullshitting you, I promise.” His pinky linked with hers even though there was no way in hell he was going back on it. Gentle pulls to his hair turned into nails dragging down his back every time his hips pushed her further into the mattress. Chrissy marked her claim on him now psychically as the lines went from a pale pink to deep red as she repeatedly went over the same spot. "Can you hang on a little bit for me? You're getting me there so close sweetheart, just keep going." Just as Chrissy had expected, the time dragged on longer and longer merely from how his words made her insides melt due to the familiar warmth and suavity it all carried. Eddie didn’t even notice her choked sob babbling about how she was so close but he did notice the way her back arched off the bed as she came. Her face imitated the reaction one would get from a painful feeling, except hers showed pleasure and absolute exhilaration just as how Eddie felt when he gave a final shove from his pelvis right into Chrissy's. Once both of their senses came back, Chrissy could've sworn Eddie had muttered her name in a subtle voice. "Fuck, Chrissy..shit." If they weren't in the obvious circumstances they're in right now, she would've thought she had done something wrong but his voice was laced with satisfaction and disbelief from the feeling she had exchanged with him for the pleasurable penetration he had finally been generous with near the end of their session. He was still inside of her considering they were both coming down from a climax, absorbing each other's radiating warmth despite the effort it had taken for them to reach their high. As difficult as it was to part ways with the glorified sweetness in between Chrissy's thighs, he had to kiss it goodbye. Slowly it pulled out and it made the girl beneath him sigh in disappointment that it was over but also a relief to feel relaxed once more. "So uh, wanna do the honors?" Eddie said with a light chuckle as they both looked down at his cock that was still wrapped in the transparent rubber, now slightly opaque due to his filling. Though he said the phrase in a joking matter, she had already reached down and carefully slipped it off, not wanting his mess to stain the sheets. He watched in amusement as she finally got it off, tying it up which Eddie took in his hand afterward for him to toss in the half-filled bin next to his nightstand.

One of Eddie's hands made its way up to Chrissy's now messy hair despite him having brushed through it with his fingers at the start of their heated activities. The light golden strands were patted down, pushed away off to the side from the beads of sweat that had been produced from her forehead that clung to her bangs. "You did amazing, gorgeous. Are you okay?" She had seemed to look more exhausted, almost fatigued by the look in her eyes compared to the other moments they've spent together after sex. "I feel..good. Great." An almost inaudible giggle came from her lips, hands pressed against Eddie's chest in the darkness. Yet he could practically see just how bright her smile was, maybe from the TV that was still running on and on. "Still got that good stuff in your system, I see." Eddie grinned while he straightened his back until he was no longer hovering above Chrissy. A soft hiss of pain came from while he moved his shoulders back, the stinging sensation coming from his back. He ignored the feeling just for now as he got up from the mattress and felt around the sheets for his shirt, Chrissy slowly helped herself up as she did the same. Once he finally found his ACDC shirt, he tossed it over to Chrissy. "You can wear it. You already took my jacket, so might as well complete the look." His voice again was heard with that usual tone of playfulness, Chrissy rolling her eyes with a suppressed smile while she put it on, no questions asked. After he could tell that she had it on Eddie turned on his lamp again to reveal an almost brand new-looking Chrissy. Her hair was less of a mess but it was obvious she's been through something to make it look the way it is, the large shirt covering everything besides her bare legs that weren't quite veiled by the blankets. If only he could take her all over again, but he knew it was all done when a yawn had come out of Chrissy. Eddie turned away to the side as he pushed his boxers back up to conceal his length, as well as his sweatpants. Off to the side, he could see in his peripheral view that his hair was a frizzy mess more than how he usually intended it to be, and he thought that was all the damage she had done. Until he heard an exclaimed gasp from Chrissy the more he faced away. "Oh, no. I'm so sorry." A hand was brought up to her mouth a little from her sudden shock and soon pointed right at his back. "Hm?" He finally looked at the mirror he had once observed, only to see what she had meant. Long, deep red scratches that looked as if some rabid house pet hadn't had the best encounter with him. Some went in the same directions and others were a mess. To Chrissy's surprise, he let out a prideful laugh. “It was that good?” Even if she knew Eddie at this point, knowing he wouldn’t be pissed or afraid of some scratches on his back, especially if they were caused by her, a heavyweight of guilt had been lifted from her shoulders.

“Good’s an understatement.” She responded as she had her legs crossed now, her eyes looking for where her clothing could’ve been. For all, she knew it could have been lost in what looked like a sea of blankets. While Eddie was checking the condition of his back which had just felt like it had been lacerated, Chrissy's eyes caught sight of the silver tabletop alarm clock that was set on his nightstand. “12:45.” “What was that?” Eddie asked as his focus was broken by her voiceless whisper. “Nothing. It's just..it's getting late. You don’t mind if I stay here tonight do you? If you can drop me off on time back at home tomorrow. I have plans with Jason and I don’t want to make him upset. Again.” The entire atmosphere of the room had changed. Whether it be Chrissy’s sudden discernment that was unnerving or the way Eddie had turned back around with a shirt in hand he had found from the back part of his swivel chair. “Are you serious?” His eyebrows furrowed as the remaining upwards grin on his peach-colored lips had quickly turned into a flat line, his expression almost taken aback. “What?” “Jason? You’re joking.” A scoff had managed to be heard from him, Eddie pulling down his Hellfire shirt and pulling out the extra length of hair from the back of it to rest on his shoulders. “Yes, Eddie. Jason. My boyfriend?” The bed elevated a bit as she stood up, the shirt falling just to the right length so both private parts were properly concealed. While searching for her clothes she didn’t have to look at Eddie to know his arms were crossed, leaning against the lowboy drawer and shook his head. “Boyfriend. Does this boyfriend of yours knows that you’re going behind his back and fucking probably the only person he could ever truly hate and look down on amongst everyone else in school?” Once Chrissy reached for her underwear and bra which were wedged in between the wall and the mattress she spun around fast enough her hair hit her back in the face. “Eddie, that's not fair.” “Am I wrong though? I mean, the only thing that's stopping him from wanting to beat the shit out of me after years of mocking him and his little “laundry basket” playing friends is me ever being around you. If he finds out we’ve been doing more than that he’ll-” “What, Eddie? What is the worst thing Jason could possibly do? See, that's your problem. You immediately assume that everyone in your life will react the same or simply hate you because you’re different. Jason isn’t like that.” Eddie could not believe what he was hearing. A lot of despicable words and lies could’ve possibly come from Chrissy’s mouth, but her trying to justify and make Jason seem like an awesome guy just crossed the line he drew when it came to morals. “I don’t? Do you think I don’t know how he treats you like shit? Casting you off to the side when he’s with the boys while you’re clinging onto that stupid sleeve of his varsity jacket that he thinks makes him more superior than everyone else? It's like- like to him you’re practically nothing.” His voice was starting to get more heated with resentment. “What makes you think I don’t feel the same way with you!” Chrissy retorted as tears started brimming her eyes. For a perky and usually bubbly girl like Chrissy, she kept a lot of feelings and thoughts to herself. Pushing them to the back of her mind or sucking it up and swallowing her dignity to keep the peace. That included her losing touch with what was once a genuine relationship with Jason, and now she felt used like a cum dumpster for Eddie. Was she just nothing to people she cared about now? A pretty ornament just to bring amusement to those who laid their eyes upon her? The large gap between them was filled with the silence that was the aftermath of her clap back. They both didn’t know what to say at that point. That was until a simple sentence could hold so much insult and slander. “Right. ‘Cause, you know what? I could’ve fucked any other one of your little cheer girlfriends. But it has to be you.” It was Chrissy’s turn to stay silent. Seconds passed as the built-up frustration in both of their eyes melted away. Now Eddies reflected regret, as Chrissy’s showed desolation. In a blink of an eye, she had already turned around and grabbed the rest of her clothes that were scattered on Eddie’s bedroom floor, storming out his doorway and to the restroom a little further up and to the left of the hall. Eddie followed suit, even if she most likely wanted the opposite. The sudden lack of noise made him uncomfortable, feeling the guilt grow and multiply in size like a tumor, the feeling branched out to every limb and area of his body and mind. Before he could get a hold of her he had already heard a loud slam of a door and the lock click, Chrissy isolating herself in the bathroom. “Chrissy, Chrissy please, that's not how I meant it. Listen.” His voice heightened in anxiety as the side of his body slammed against the wooden door that was the barrier that had made it harder for him to show what he was going to say was genuine. “You’re not brainless like those other chicks, alright? You’re different, you actually mean someth-'' Another click was heard and the knob of the door had twisted, but the door swung a little too hard on him. As if she had kicked it to make sure there was no chance of him getting a hold of her. Chrissy dashed out as she put her hair back up in a ponytail and marched her way from out the halls and to the living room. Eddie could see from the corner of his eye in the bathroom she had left behind his ACDC shirt as she changed speedily fast to tail it out of his house. He jogged fast enough to catch up to her side and took wider strides, blocking the front door before her hand could even reach for it. “Eddie, move. I wanna go home.” “I’ll give you a ride in a bit but just hear me out.” She shook her head once more, her eyes squeezed shut for a moment and her head tilted down as if trying to block out his pleading voice. “I’ll walk home, hitch a ride. Just let me go, I don't care.” Eddie scooted to the left and blocked the handle, only fueling Chrissy’s agony. “For fucks sake just listen; I didn’t mean it the way it came out.” The blonde had her arms crossed this time, looking up at Eddie in the most heart-wrenching way. She was only giving him one chance so he had to make it count. “I don’t want to fuck any other girl. Any cheerleader. You mean more to me- than just some fuck buddy. I don’t know how this,” Eddie pointed to both him and her, “came to be, but I just know it was meant to happen. Maybe this isn’t the best time to admit but you are by far, the best thing that has ever happened to me. It doesn’t matter what we do, I just like being around you, seeing you, and talking to you. It’s the best I’ve felt in such a long time and I know this can’t happen with anybody else.” There was yet another silence. Somehow heavier this time. Chrissy eyed him up and down. She knew at that moment she had his raw beating heart in her palm, ready to demolish it at any given moment by shoving him out of the way and leaving to never see or talk to him again if she wanted to. But the thought of it alone made her stomach churn in pain. She gave in. She pressed her lips as if holding back a sob that dared to escape. The once greenish-blue eyes that watched him in adoration now hid as her eyelids squeezed in affliction. How was she supposed to respond to something like that? It was an apology, explanation, and confession all meshed into one fabricated speech. Chrissy opened her mouth to speak, but a whimper came out, realizing how she failed in becoming the one in charge of making him writhe in pain, she brought her hands up to her face. Tears fell down her face and managed to show themselves despite her attempt at concealing the overwhelming emotions. Eddie could only watch with darting eyes as she choked out crying evolved into wailing sobs. With no one else to seek shelter with, she leaned her head against Eddie’s chest. It was the last thing the culpable metalhead expected, but there it was. His potential lover completely shattered all because of him, still looking for any sort of comfort and refuge in the same person who had caused the damage. He felt her sobs shaking into his chest, his arm instinctively coming up and around her. Eddie held her tight. His chin rested upon Chrissy's, feeling kisses press onto the top of her head. “I don’t know.” Chrissy managed to form three words through the violent crying. “What?” His dark brown eyes gazed down at her, his left hand cupping the back of her head and holding her close. “I...I don’t know what we are, Eddie. Please just tell me that. What are we? What am I to you?” Her voice was innocent and disoriented. Just as hesitant as she was, Eddie had taken a small sigh, both thumbs from his hands moving ever so carefully side to side as they rubbed a small area on her arm and her head. Thinking. Thinking before he spoke this time. “I’m just as lost as you are.” Chrissy wanted to jolt in pain from his answer and push him away, but his second response came faster than the first. “But I do know I want to be yours. So badly. I want to be there with and for you wherever. I want you to be mine. But I don't know if I can have that. If we can have that.” Chrissy didn’t have to know why he said that. She knew it perfectly well. “Jason.” She muttered, feeling Eddie give a small hum as an answer and his head slightly nodding. “I care about you, Chrissy. I never meant to hurt you, I wanted to do my best to treat you better than he could. I will admit that almost everything I’ve said was a dickhead move, but I will stand for the fact that Jason is unworthy of you. Just give me a chance of giving you what you deserve. You’ve made me so goddamn happy. I want the same for you. Please?” Eddie knew it was all too cheesy to say but it was honest, genuine. He loved Chrissy and he thought he was doing enough for her to just know it and feel it. Clearly not. Chrissy turned her head up to look back up at him, her eyes bloodshot and her face wet. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to ask so much of you. Being with you makes more sense to me than when I’m with Jason. I knew it for a while. Jason didn’t feel the same way about me as I did for him. He just loves the idea of me. I’m just not used to hearing it come from someone else.” Eddie's hand that was once resting at the back of her head was now wiping the trail of tears from her face. “I’m sorry too. Really. You definitely don’t have to be.” The two stared at each other again. Now in comfortable silence. The guilt was not as deadly as before, and Chrissy’s stay had been rid of with Eddie's everlasting promise of taking care and loving her unconditionally. “You’re an ugly crier, you know that?” The silence was now broken by a chuckle coming from him and a soft gasp from Chrissy as she smacked his shoulder in annoyance. “Shut up, just shut up.” As disappointed Chrissy was that the silence was ruined by a small fit of laughter he had brought out from her, she was mostly relieved that it lifted her spirits.

In the end, Chrissy ended up sleeping in Eddie's bed even if it was just three good hours before they had to get up. Her head was splitting from the number of tears she shed that night but in a way she didn't regret it, it felt like a breaking point in their relationship. Once the sunlight spilled into his room he carefully woke Chrissy up with a bowl of cereal and a tall glass of water. It wasn't breakfast at the Five Seasons but after the long night she had and the even longer day she was about to go through, she needed all the energy she could get. Soon enough Eddie was outside starting the car while Chrissy was inside making sure she looked presentable. Her masterminded foolproof excuse? She was at one of her girlfriends' house, of course, she spent most of the time getting ready at Eddie’s place so she could just change out once she arrived home, to save time of course not to have an excuse to use his shampoo or have to borrow a pair of boxers from him since her underwear was pretty much ruined. The drive back to her house was silent but not the anxious one that was going on at her drive to Ed’s, this time her hand was placed atop of his which was currently on the gear shift. Then the car stopped at her block “So.. I'll see you later?" Chrissy asked as she unbuckled her seatbelt and placed her hand on the handle waiting for his response. "I've always got an eye on you, trust me." He let go of her hand and blew her an over-the-top kiss to lift the empty feeling he knew they both felt as their shared time had come to an end. Responding to his playful gesture, she caught his kiss mid-air and placed it in her pocket, appreciating how much he was trying to keep that bright smile on her face for those around her to see. Eddie felt anxious, feeling his throat dry as he parted his lips preparing to say those meaningful three words that had been on his mind all night, but before he knew it the car door shut and Chrissy began to walk towards her house. With a sigh, he began to drive back home. It didn't feel right. After an entire night of everything with lust, arguments, apologies, and confessions, he couldn't just back out on this now. "Don't be a pussy, Munson." With a switch of his mind as soon as he reached the edge of her neighborhood, Eddie's car swerved immediately towards the left and back in the direction of her house. She had to feel the same way and maybe, just maybe, if he said it first she would say it back without hesitation. His heart rate increased as he ignored the speed limit in hopes of catching her before the time was lost, and just as his heart pumped with adrenaline it easily felt as if it stopped and sunk into his stomach. As he approached her place once more, this time Eddie spotted the familiar shiny sports car parked in front, with her so-called boyfriend leaning against the freshly polished gleaming door. He could feel his already fragile heart shatter when he saw the blonde who was previously dressed in his clothes come out wearing a basketball letterman jacket over her outfit. The sight alone made Eddie want to sink into the seat and perish as he saw Chrissy greet him with a big smile on her face and a hug while Eddie often received an awkward hello and an occasional side hug. Trembling hands tightened their grip on the steering when he pressed on that gas and sped off. He tried to ignore the feeling of his car feeling incredibly empty without her in the passenger side. He forced himself to ignore the burning tears welling up in his eyes and spilling over his waterline, the car was pulled over on the side of the road as he tried to recollect himself, He hated the gasps and sniffles coming from him. He hated that he would do anything to be Jason, he deserved to be going out on dates instead of being isolated in a car or having to hike into the dangerous woods just to spend time with her. He wanted to be the one seen with her in public and receive all the affection she openly gave Jason. His lungs begged for air as the sobbing continued, he shouldn't be taking this personally at all. They both had their clean-cut reputations- no, it was that she had an imagination to maintain. As the hics and whimpers began to subside, Eddie thought of something he was certain was true; He’d never have her love to keep.
