feat a horny miles edgeworth at the end and a phoenix who Gets It

Work Text:

"Aren't you tired?" Phoenix asked. Miles hummed, quietly asking for more clarification. They both knew he had gotten more than enough sleep the previous night. "I mean of living like this. Living like nothing's gonna get better. Living like there's no point to seeing tomorrow. It gets tiring after a while, doesn't it?"

Miles nodded. "Yes, it does. I grew tired of this cycle a long time ago, Phoenix. I have only two reasons to live. One of those reasons is you. The other is my career."

Phoenix chuckled softly. Miles, ever the workaholic. Since accepting the Chief Prosecutor position, his workaholic tendencies had only increased. "Why don't we," Phoenix murmured, lacing his hands with Miles, "take a vacation somewhere? Somewhere you've never been. I've been to your ancestral homeland. How about we go to mine?" He knew Japan was beautiful, and it was coming up on April, so cherry blossom season would be in full effect.

Miles shook his head. "No. I can't abandon my work like that."

"Miles, it's either you go on vacation now while you're not burnt out, or you burn yourself to the ground." Miles appeared unmoved, so Phoenix sighed and brought out the big guns. "I miss being able to spend time with you." He adopted a more sultry tone as he continued, "And if we go, I'll—"

He didn't finish his sentence before Miles said, "Okay, you win. Book the tickets. You know where my cards are."
