Work Text:
Tweek opens his eyes to see that he is sitting on a stone carved bench. The engravings of flowers on said bench looked so elegant.
He looked up to see that he was in a field of green, as far as the eye can see, just a freshly cut green grass covered field. The sound of birds chirping could be heard in the distance.
He stood, feeling weightless as he took a few steps, stopping.
“Where am I?” Tweek spoke, his voice light and quiet.
The breeze ruffled his hair, tossling it gently out of his face. The airy breeze upon his face felt nice. Only a few clouds stuck in the sky, rolling away. The sun shone brightly, rays dancing upon his pale skin.
He felt nice. He shut his eyes, feeling at peace.
“Where am I?” he asked himself again, this time more of a whisper.
He opened his eyes to realize he was walking. He didn’t realize he had even started walking, didn’t feel his legs moving on their own accord.
“Where am I going?” He then asked himself.
Then everything before him changed, he was still in the field but he saw all of his friends and acquaintances from school.
“I’m going to become a professional football player,” Clyde chirped with a squeal as he was suddenly wearing a pros uniform and running off with a football clutched in his hands as he joined a hurd of other football players. Clyde was suddenly an older age, early twenties as they ran away and out of view.
“I’m going to become a lawyer,” a new voice said.
Turning to look, Tweek watched as Kyle started to walk up the courthouse steps which suddenly appeared from nowhere, aging as he went up, wearing a very formal and expensive looking suit and nice tie.
“I’m going to become a bartender,” another voice called out.
Turning again, Tweek saw Stan who stepped behind a bar, aging up as he picked up a few bottles of alcohol and mixed them, tossing and twisting the bottles in an expert sort of way, mesmerizing Tweek with his spins and tosses.
“I want to become the president,” a shrill yet soft voice called out.
Turning, Tweek looked over at Wendy who stepped behind a podium, aging up and suddenly wearing a beautiful suit which looked pretty good.
“I want to become a chemist,” a deeper voice said.
Tweek turned again to see Token mixing chemicals and suddenly he too was aged up wearing a white lab coat holding tubes and vials of chemicals.
“I want to become a vet assistant,” a familiar nasally voice droned on.
Tweek turned to see Craig stepping behind a counter, aging up and wearing scrubs and looking at a genuine pig on a steel table slab as it ran around in circles before settling in place.
“Craig!” Tweek called out. He ran towards his now older boyfriend, his hand reaching out for him.
Craig didn’t disappear like all the others did. He turned to look at Tweek with an almost shocked facial expression.
“Tweek what are you doing? Where are you?”
Tweek looked at Craig confused.
“I don't know where I am!” he screeched, running up to Craig and stopping dead in front of him.
“What are you going to be doing?” Craig asked as he bent over to be more level with Tweek.
“What am I doing? I..I don’t know what you m-mean,” Tweek stuttered in panic.
The easy going breeze started blowing harder, the wind whipping at Tweek’s hair, making it fly around crazily.
“What are you going to be doing as a career? What are your plans? You don’t have any plans.”
Tweek looked at Craig scared before looking down at his shaking hands.
“What am I doing? Where am I?” Tweek questioned before looking up at Craig with wide worried eyes.
“What am I going to do!?” He screeched, afraid.
Craig suddenly disappeared, leaving Tweek alone in the field.
“NO! Craig, come back! Please don’t leave me!!” Tweek yelled out, turning around in a circle, the world was spinning and turning. He was getting dizzy and nauseous. Everything was moving way too fast! He kept spinning, trying to stop, but he couldn’t stop spinning.
Everything was getting blurred and he couldn’t make anything out anymore.
Then suddenly he felt as if he was falling, his breathing hitched and his stomach dropped like he was on an amusement park ride.
Then he landed on his rear, hard. He looked up, he no longer was in the beautiful field. Now he was, what he could only describe as hell. Rocky ground, rough rigid mountains and sharp cliffs. The ground was black and the sky was red. Fire could be seen in the distance.
“Where am I!?” Tweek yelled as he gripped the sides of his hair and yanking.
He could see people in the distance falling from cliffs into a lava pit, screams echoed in the air.
“Where am I!?” he yelled again, clenching his eyes closed tightly. Tears began to form, leaking from his closed eyelids.
The screams seemed to get louder, echoing all around him. All he could hear was those damn screams of people in pain.
“Let me out! Let me out of here! Craig! CRAIG, HELP ME!!” Tweek screeched loudly, although he couldn't even hear himself scream because the screams of people all around him was just that loud.
“CRAAAIG!!” Tweek screamed as he fell to his knees, ripping his pants and slicing his knee on a sharp rock. Blood dripped from his wound, but it didn’t stop like a normal wound would have, it just kept bleeding. Blood pooling all around him. It was like an ocean of blood, then a wave of blood pushed him down under.
He couldn’t breath and he reached a hand up towards the surface as he was pushed deeper and deeper under the blood ocean. He was losing air and he felt like he was about to suffocate. His mouth gaped open to try and take in a gulp of air, but all he got was blood pouring down his throat and then he was choking. But the more he choked, the more he couldn't breathe.
He tried yelling for Craig again but his vision was spotted black and then nothingness. No sounds, no feelings, no vision, just nothing but inky blackness.
Then Tweek was gasping as someone shouted his name very loudly in his ear. He sat up, hands clutching his fast beating heart, thumping against his chest heavily, fast, and loud.
He felt tears cascading down his reddened cheeks. Sweat dripped down his forehead and mixing with his tears. He could hear his breathing, loud, labored, and heaving.
He felt something touch his back and he looked up. From the light of the full moon illuminated Craig’s face. He looked shocked, almost scared and he too was breathing kind of hard.
“Honey, breath, try to calm your breathing. Holy shit, what the fuck did you just dream of?”
Tweek felt his lip tremble.
“C-Craig?” Tweek whimpered, his voice sounded harsh and worn as if he had been using it.
“W-What ju-just happened?”
Craig looked taken aback.
“I don't know. You had a nightmare, I’m sure because you were tossing and turning. You even were screaming in your sleep for me. I tried waking you up, but you didn’t wake up and it sounded like you were in pain. I was really scared for a minute there,” Craig admitted, his voice lowering.
Tweek’s breathing had calmed down as his heartbeat slowed a bit.He seemed to still be crying though.
Tweek dived right into Craig’s chest, crying. Craig wrapped his arms around Tweek, pulling him into his chest.
But the nightmare woke something in Tweek, what was he going to do with his life when he got to high school? Everyone else knew what they wanted to do and was heading towards those goals but Tweek was still unsure what he wanted to do. He didn’t have enough time. It was way too much pressure!
Tweek knew he would have to figure this out, but for now, he just wanted to be comforted by Craig and wail into his chest and be held by his protective arms.
