Lumine just woke up realizing that it was already February 27 her planned date with Xiao was today. She groaned as she remember how she was still lacking sleep from her work last night, she stood up as Aether told her that her service heading to MOA was already there.
"Lumine wake up. your service is here" Aether spoke opening her bedroom door
"I am awake. can you tell him to wait and also invite him for breakfast I may take a while"
Aether just left informing her service and also getting to prepare breakfast. Lumine stretch her limbs before her attention was caught by a notification on her phone. It was from Xiao
Xiao: I'll be leaving now. take care
Lumine smiles before responding
Lumine: I am still laying on the bed though. Oh, where are we meeting? on the usual place or I will find you again?
Lumine giggle when she received a laughing reaction to one of her responses.
Xiao: It's alright. It would still take an hour before my ride. We could meet at the toilet. just kidding
Lumine laugh seeing his response, Xiao never failed in making Lumine smile or laugh at his responses. They continue to exchange chat and she couldn't help but sigh in amusement as Xiao was craving sweets instead of a meal. She couldn't help at how Xiao was trying to think of where they would eat just making Lumine giggle as she reads their conversation and Xiao being playful. She ended the conversation for a while to eat her brunch and also pack her stuff. As she was done getting ready as she responded to Xiao asking his whereabouts, upon receiving a reply that he was at MOA already Lumine panic and laugh jokingly responding 'speed. I will just leave the house' he informed her that he will just be at coffee bean chilling.
As Lumine was on the road heading to MOA she was chatting with Xiao and even apologize that she would be arriving late again.
Xiao: Don't worry about it
Lumine: I need sleep so I regained some
Xiao: It's okay you should rest more whenever you can.
Lumine: we will definitely do a lot of things when I arrived
Xiao: like what?
Lumine: that's a secret. hehe see you soon Xiao
Their conversation ended with Lumine feeling excited. Upon arriving at MOA she told her service that she will just send a chat at him on what time he'll be picking her up and soon bid farewell and started looking for Xiao. she informed him that she was already at MOA and asked his whereabouts
Xiao: I am inside of MOA still sitting at coffee bean. don't run now
Lumine laugh at his response before she decided to call him so that they can meet already.
Lumine went up and down the escalator as she cannot find Xiao making the young lad chuckle and telling her to climb another floor thus soon they met. Lumine laugh before she hugged him and ended the call.
"Wait before we stroll I need to go to the toilet"
Lumine just grab Xiao's wrist and drag him heading to the toilet.
"You know I can't go inside a ladies' room"
"You're not going silly Yaksha. Just wait for me here on the vanity area and watch my bag"
Xiao just nodded as Lumine went inside to take a little toilet break. After washing her hands and drying it she head out of the toilet and saw Xiao looking at the mirror and fixing his hair.
"I wish everyone is done already fixing themselves"
Xiao chuckled, "I already got ready at home since it's a hassle getting ready from the scratch at the mall"
Lumine panicked a little as she takes out her make-up kit. She tried putting on her make up as Xiao walk behind and lean on the wall with his arms crossed and his right foot leaning on the wall. He was staring at Lumine making the girl squeal and flustered
"Don't be like that I can't focus and I'm simping here" Lumine whines fangirling
Xiao laughs before walking closer to her and leaning on the edge beside her, his back leaning and arms crossed as he stares once more at her.
Lumine sat down groaning, "Xiao stop teasing me I can't finish and I am simping on you. You silly Yaksha"
Xiao laughs, "Okay okay I'll stop now"
Lumine stood up and continue doing her makeup, Xiao's eyes notice Lumine's hair accessory and decided to wear it making the blond girl watch him as he does weird poses wearing her hair accessory.
Lumine can't help it and grab her phone. Xiao look at her but she told him to ignore her and just pose which he obliged and soon she also took a photo of them together.
She laughs seeing the photo before posting it on her SNS account. Finally, she was done and she still hit Xiao for teasing her, he was aware already how she was weak on his charm and she often says that she simps on him and he just laugh as he was comfortable with her.
The two went out of the toilet and Lumine drag Xiao on the escalator where she was making him go first on escalator and she follow she even hugs the young lad as the latter joke to keep some distance as they are in public.
The two then started to stroll around the area talking and catching up when Xiao said he was craving sweets
"Let's find a Starbucks place to chill"
The two went on a search for a Starbucks and soon they saw one but it was a little crowded.
"Let's find the other Starbucks here"
Xiao suggested and soon the two just started to stroll around MOA and soon some kids recognized them and asked for a photo Xiao isn't good with kids so he's like having a hard time while Lumine was teasing him. After the parent of the kids thank them, the two smile and bid farewell before they started their stroll again soon they were recognized once more and people ask them for photos.
The two just smile and nodded as people took photos of them. After taking a couple of shots the two smile and continue once more, not until they reach a certain area of MOA.
A group of young girls squeals seeing them together.
"Are you two Lumine and Yaksha Xiao?" A young girl asked clearly excited
The two nodded making the girl squeal loud "OMG my sister is a fan. Can we take a picture?"
The two smiled before they pose and took pictures with them. When the crowd was kinda blocking the hallway some security guards started to tell people not to block the hall. When they were about to leave Xiao was grabbed by a girl which makes Lumine laugh as he thought the girl want a photo together with Lumine but she heard that she just want a photo with Xiao.
After the chaotic photo moment with some teens. Lumine was still laughing and teasing Xiao at how he looked so done and tired already.
"Never again are we walking on that path again"
Lumine laugh "So that is like our danger zone"
Xiao nodded chuckling and finally, the two arrived at the very first Starbucks they found.
"Isn't this the first Starbucks we went to?" Xiao asked
Lumine laughs "yep it's the same it's like they're telling us to stroll first before relaxing"
"I hope there's a chair I want sweets already"
Lumine just keeps laughing at how Xiao is being cheeky and it amuses her. Soon they found a spot on the window. Lumine ordered a tall caramel frappucino with a waffle sizzles with whipped cream and caramel syrup , while Xiao ordered a strawberry frappe with cake. The duo where chilling Lumine checking her SNS while Xiao was playing games on his phone.
As time passed Lumine was talking to Xiao about some things about her life and random words about the game they're playing. She knew Xiao as not the type who interact well even with her but she was happy that every time she would ask him to hang out or how they both say 'date' he would agree.
A moment later Xiao was then was looking at someone murmuring things like "don't look" , "don't approach us" , "go back" , "damn it we made eye contact"
Lumine who notices Xiao panic muttering can't help but laugh.
"Stop looking at her. She'll definitely come here you keep looking" she giggles
"Fuck they're nearing" Xiao response looking away as Lumine laugh again
When the girl he was looking walk past them Lumine laugh and look and continue to tease Xiao for it.
"Xiao uh oh they are gonna approach now"
"Don't jinx it Lumine"
Like what Lumine said they were indeed approach and the girl ask for a photo. They took a photo with the girl and say their thanks. When they left Lumine giggles teasing Xiao once more.
They soon return back to their relaxation where Lumine started talking once again about her own shenanigans when one of her friends suddenly tagged her on a post with someone took a photo of them together. She showed it Xiao and he got embarrassed
"I don't know you. I'm blocking you" he spoke clearly flustered
Lumine laugh "we're exposed"
The time passed by and Lumine notices that it was getting dark already.
"Hey let's go on the seaside now it's not that hot anymore" she invites and soon the two left Starbucks.
Xiao and Lumine were holding hands even thought they're not in a relationship Xiao is willing to show affection for Lumine and vice versa.
Lumine then remembered Xiao not even tasting what shaved ice is.
"Hey Xiao wanna buy the shaved ice before it closes."
"Sure"
When they arrived at the booth Lumine readies her phone and started recording it. Xiao was amazed by how big the rainbow flavored shaved ice is. Lumine couldn't help but tease and poke fun of him.
"You're so cute and precious"
Lumine smile as she continues to watch Xiao enjoy the shaved ice
"Stop that. You haven't even ate much"
"It's alright. I already tasted it so now let me enjoy watching you enjoy it."
Lumine then remembered she wanted to try a trend she saw on SNS.
"Xiao Xiao. Put this earpiece on your ear and try to time the music"
Lumine excitedly speak as she showed him the video. They listened to it repeatedly as they were walking to their special spot on seaside. After a few more minutes they both stops and Lumine asks him if he got it.
"I'll try but don't expect anything"
She giggled before readying her phone. She couldn't help her giggles as she finds him too cute and soon the video started. Lumine was really happy with the result as she didn't expect it to be so like him.
"Xiao let's ride the MOA Eye before we go to our spot"
Lumine invited before dragging Xiao as he lets her drag him. As they were waiting at the line Xiao teases Lumine who's scared of height and wanting to try the VIP for the ride but upon arriving at the cashier he changed his mind for thinking it's expensive. Lumine just laugh not really minding it was expensive.
As they hop in the cable, they were first sitting across each other not until Lumine place her bag across and Xiao sat beside her.
Lumine was amazed at the night view as she never get to see the view on seaside at night. She took her phone out and decided to take a video asking Xiao again that they'll take another one.
After doing the video Lumine close her phone and stare outside.
"I'm really happy you know. You alway brighten my day and I am glad that I met you"
"I just don't want us to be awkward you know..."
"Silly Yaksha, I know already and it's alright. Instead of feeling rejected by it, you still made me so happy just by being you and just by agreeing to my shenanigans. You know what happened in the past."
Xiao hummed as the two enjoy the scenery. When he realizes that they are already going down he felt disappointed and even whine to Lumine about how it didn't satisfied him.
When they were closer to the platform Xiao moved back across making Lumine tilt her head
"So that people won't assume something happened"
Lumine pause before realizing what he meant. It made her laugh as they were going down the cable and proceeding now to their spot on seaside.
As they were walking some people saw them and ask for photos which they stop and did a pose. Soon finding their spot the two of them sat on the pavement where Lumine enjoy the night breeze on the seaside.
"Ah~ I miss the seaside. I can finally unwind and enjoy the night" Lumine stretch her before hugging her knees.
The two then had a chatter just talking about their life from past to recent happenings on their life. Truth be told Lumine did had feelings for Xiao it's just that she was also aware already that Xiao is not interested in romance yet she doesn't even feel rejected. She wanted to feel hurt as she was rejected yet she didn't feel that at all.
Instead of feeling sadness and heartbreaking, she instead feel happiness and fulfilment she doesn't need to be in a romantic relationship with him rather she would rather be happy just being with him and both of them hanging out or rather they both say as date.
As it was getting later the two decided it's time to go home now. They were still walking hand in hand heading home but as the clock is ticking to midnight it is time to separate as the story is ending.
Both bid farewells and goodbye to each other with smiles on their face.
As soon as Lumine's back turned away from Xiao. She stood up straight and walk with a smile on her face, she was contented with what happened she was satisfied with how big he help her from unwinding. She knew that every time she is with Xiao every pain or sadness she felt would dissolved immediately as he is a bright sun that always brightens her dark life.
"Silly Xiao... How can I feel hurt from your rejection when you continue to just give me happiness and fulfilment in my life?"
She thought as she look up at the sky seeing the stars and moon shining brightly.
