Alex was sitting on their bed, arms wrapped around their legs. Their chin was laid on their knees. And they were crying.
Alex, the most powerful supervillain ever. Alex, the immortal entity who had murdered countless hero's, not feeling a shred of guilt. Alex, whom all but one single person feared, was crying.
They new it was pathetic, and they hated it.
But they cried. They cried about how much of a failure they were for letting themself be so vulnerable. They cried because they knew they only hurt those around them. They cried because of how much of a disappointment they were to their parents.
They cried about Morgan, oh dear sweet Morgan. Morgan was the best thing that ever came into their life. They loved Morgan, with all of their heart. It was getting to the point where they couldn't physically go more than a few days without seeing their best friend, they became so pathetically dependant on them.
And it hurt. It hurt so badly, because they knew, they knew Morgan could never love them back.
So they cried.
They were pathetic. And they hated it.
