Simeon felt warm as he hugged you close; your own arms wrapped around his back, lighting a match inside him. Voice a quiet whisper, you looked up at him with a blush staining your cheeks. “Your heart is beating really fast, Simeon.” His name sounded like ambrosia as it fell from your lips.
He nodded, his own face glowing crimson. You looked up at him with a thoughtful look on your lovely face. At first, he thought he'd done something wrong when your arms removed themselves from around his back. His doubts readily vanished when your hands moved to rest on his shoulders, helping you balance as you surged up on your toes, pressing your lips to his.
The kiss was quick but still left him starstruck. Your soft lips against his made the match you'd lit with your embrace expand into a forest fire. You were looking up at him shyly as he stared at you with wide eyes. Angels would kiss in the Celestial realm all the time, but it didn't feel like that. Never like that. Kissing between angels was always platonic, and that kiss felt like so much more.
He could see the moment the shyness on your face turned to insecurity, and you started to pull away. Simeon moved without thinking, cupping your face in his hands and bringing your lips back to his own. He needed more. He needed more of this feeling; like his blood was bubbling with the heat of a thousand stars.
You wrapped your arms around his neck swiping your tongue across his bottom lip, making him gasp into your mouth. Taking it as permission, your tongue began exploring his mouth, running along his own tongue in encouragement to do the same. He licked into your mouth, discovering all the secrets of you; the slight texture of your cheek from where you bit in when you were nervous, the warm metal crown in one of your back molars, the way your tongue easily curled around his own. Everything.
When you finally pulled away to breathe, you were both panting. Simeon felt like he had upon his creation, starlight pulsing through his veins and sunshine warming his heart. He looked at you with your bruised lips and heavy lids and didn’t know if he could ever return to the celestial realm. You’d ignited something in him that he didn’t think could easily be put out, something he didn't want to put out, and he wanted more. So much more.
