Where was he?
You whipped your head around, in hope to find any glimpse of his presence. You barely got the time to register what had happened before you were on the ground. Your legs had given you up.
The adrenaline finally wearing off. Usopp, who was on the fishman's shoulder quickly got off him and ran towards you. You could see that his face were panicking as to why you suddenly fell. "Are you okay?!" He let out a squeak. "L-Law... have you seen him anywhere? Is he okay?" You asked frantically.
You were panicking. Of course you were panicking. You knew how much Law had wanted to avenge Corazon. He had told you that the night before you guys arrived at Dressrosa. What if he had gone too far that it had killed him?
Finally, due to the concusion that you had during your fight, you were knocked unconsious with Usopp panicking even more.
The light footsteps and movement woke you up. It was night. But it wasn't too dark as the moon lighten the night a little. You shifted your body a little, not noticing how your body was tied to somebody's back with their hands under your thighs. "You okay?" The voice asked.
It was indeed familiar. Too familiar. You tried your best and squint your eyes a couple times, trying to get rid of the blurriness in your eyes. "Law?" The male hummed. "You're alive..."
He didn't know how to respond to this. So instead, he tightens his hold on you. The whole crew was ahead of you. Luffy being on Zoro's back. The others were walking on their own just fine. "You scared me..." He suddenly spoke up, breaking the short silence that you had.
"You were pale. I thought that you died," You could hear the slight tremble in his voice. Your arms that was dangled by your side slowly made their way around his neck. You tighten your hold and rest your head on his shoulder. "I was worried about you too, you know..."
"I thought that you made some stupid decision and decided to die or something," You muttered. He chuckled softly. "I don't plan on dying. Not when you don't know how I felt about you," You gasp. This wasn't how you had expected your day would went right after you wake up from your 2 or 3 days sleep.
You could tell that he was trying to find the right words to say. (More like the author trying to not make Law ooc 💀)
"I... I'm in love with you..." He finally said. At that, you brought your head close to his cheeks and leave a peck. A smile made its way to your face before you went back to your last position, placing your head on his shoulder.
"I love you too,"
