Intro
Hi everyone, thank you for being here. I’d like to explain some things about this story before we get right into it.
I'D LIKE TO MENTION THE WARNING TAGS - Specifically the Rxxx/Non-Con one: ( I actually ended up taking this one out of the archive warning because it was just too daunting to see immediately on this work, and it's not what the entire story is about.) NO ONE ON ASH'S TEAM HURTS HER. There is a chapter with some non-consensual touching, and I wanted to include that in the warning tags just to be safe. Ash does go through some mental obstacles after the non-con chapter, and does spent a little bit of her time reflecting on it. But don't worry- SHE'S OKAY. If you don't want to read Ash working through a problem like this, this work may not be for you unfortunately, because there is a lot of internal struggle involving some other issues as well. While something does happen to her, I didn't write it in a way that totally upset and disgusted me, so I think it should be okay for most readers. Just keep it in mind and use your best judgement. I of course, will add a TW in the note before this chapter.

Next, if you haven’t read “Break the Walls”, I suggest you head over there first since the events in this story happen months after that one. 😊 If you don’t want to read “Break the Walls”, I’ll give you a short run down on the basics.
Ash/Ashes is written as a reader insert. She is written as a cis woman with little descriptors about her, so that mostly everyone who reads in her place can feel included, or insert themselves into the story. Ash is a lead Scientist on Kamino, responsible for Clone Trooper Development. She is originally assigned to The Bad Batch for an entire year to study their mutations for a Senate bill and is expected to make some conclusions about the enhancements of CF-99 that will determine the future development of all Clone Troopers. Anyways, she’s a pretty important gal with a lot expected of her. Ash DOES have a relationship with everyone on board the Maruader, but there is very little mentioning of that in this story (very little sexual references/touching), very much unlike Break The Walls.
There is a lot of internal struggle and internal conflict in this story with Ash. She deals A LOT with overthinking and worrying; So much so, that there are A LOT of nightmares she’ll be experiencing while with the guys. Her nightmares are scary, and she does often perish in them. (Don't worry, she's doesn't actually die.)
I can’t give too much away here, so I’ll be adding any potential trigger warning in the notes. Most chapters will have notes at the beginning and end. Just wanted to give a small heads up for that.
I hope that some of you are interested in Ash’s story when she’s not getting down and dirty with the members of The Bad Batch. Break The Walls was VERY sexy, and this story isn’t. But there will be more in the future!
