shotaro was overwhelmed with his busy schedule. he didnt think being and idol would be this busy? of course, as a trainee his schedule was tight as well, but being a newly debuted member in a not-very-new group is hard. especially if you dont speak their language.
hes trying his best to adjust, but everything went by so quickly and he just cant seem to find a time long enough to relax and process it all.
...which is why when its over midnight and its time for everyone to sleep, he spent it all on spacing out, letting his mind take over him, his burden of never feeling like he was never good enough clouding in his head, and ending up letting a tear fall down.
he tries to muffle his sobs, he doesnt want to wake sungchan up, he doesnt want to worry him. but sungchan did woke up, and sungchan does know that shotaro does this every night.
the next day has come and shotaro had only slept for an hour or two. he has no schedules today, so hes sitting in the dorm's living room, and proceeds to stare quietly into the thin air.
sungchan saw this and decided that this might be the time to comfort shotaro
"hyung.."
silence.
"hyung!"
sungchan quietly yells to wake shotaro up.
"O-oh.. what is it sungchan?"
he asked with his iconic eye smile,
"hyung. i know youve been struggling these past few days, and i know how you feel but please, look into my eyes"
shotaro was a little taken aback to hear the younger boy knew about it, but he obeyed him anyways.
"hyung, no matter what, lets survive our debut together okay? i know that its been hard for you since our debut and i know how its been taking over your mind lately but youre not alone, im right here with you. everything's gonna be fine!, lets survive our debut successfuly okay?" sungchan said, trying to cheer up the older one
shotaro was struggling to not break down right then and there. sungchan pulling him into his chest, and shotaro instinctively grabbing onto sungchan's shirt and crying into it.
shotaro feels amazing.
"feeling better now?"
ask sungchan to the japanese boy
"yeah..."
"dont forget, we're always gonna be there for each other ! "
sungchan and shotaro.. will always be there for each other.
