Work Text:
They reached the door to the prop room where Jay immediately pivots and stares at him with a hardened look.
“What’s his name?”
Jake eyed him suspiciously. “Lee Heeseung, but he wants to go by Ethan now.”
“He’s smoking hot.”
Jake shortened the distance and pressed a finger into his chest. “Back off, he’s mine”
“Just because you share a class with him doesn’t mean shit.”
“It definitely does,” he pressed his thumb into his own chest, “I got dibs.”
Jay shrugged. “Says who?”
“Jesus.”
Jay looked off into the distance for a bit and Jake notices he looks like a philosopher. “I want to get in his pants.”
A gasp. “That’s sacrilegious.”
“Not Jesus you idiot, Ethan.”
“Still gross. You’re so vulgar.”
“You fucking hypocrite,” he spat, “I bet he walked into the classroom and your asshole instantly lubed up.”
“You are going straight to hell. I have dignity and self-respect, unlike you, whore.” He hoped his dramatic enunciation of the last word hit him in his soul.
Jay crosses his arms. “Oh, so I’m the whore now?”
“Always have been.”
Jay gave him a smug look. “Kristen’s party two weeks ago. One of us disappeared halfway through the night and the other had to carry him bridal-style to the Uber because he could barely walk.”
Jake threw his arms up, frantic. “It’s not my fault! I didn’t know Tanner was packing eight and a half, I wasn’t prepared for that!”
Jay leaned forward, even more smug if that was even possible. The guy reeked of confidence and cockiness everywhere he went.
“Point is, you’re more of a slut than I am.”
Jake huffed, not backing down. “Fine then, name me five guys that I’ve hooked—”
“Tanner, William, Robert, Jonathan, and that straight kid from Bio who cheated on his girlfriend because he wanted to know how it feels when a dude sucks him off.”
Jake froze. “Go to hell.”
Jay’s smug grin intensified, hiking up the left side of his face and leaning back. “So I’m right.”
“Okay but it’s different with Ethan. He’s not just some guy I’m trying to hook up with.”
Jay’s brow quirked up. “Do you have no self-awareness? You were practically on top of him the entire time back there. He made that lame ass joke and you absolutely keeled over in laughter like it was Bo Burnham.”
He put a finger up. “Bo Burnham’s not even funny.”
“Don’t speak about my gay awakening that way.”
“We have been over this. My gay awakening is David Beckham who is hot and sexy. Yours is Bo Burnham, who is fucking hideous.”
“He is 6’5 and has a personality.”
“I don’t care about height.”
“Liar. I know you want to climb Ethan Lee like a tree.”
“Do not.”
“You were acting just like one of those pick me girls, giggling into his shirt sleeve and playing with his cuffs and going you’re sooo much taller than me that’s crazy you could like pick me up lol!”
Jake closed his eyes, trying to keep his anger inside of him. “I will admit to the sleeve thing, yes, but I did not say that.”
“That’s the kind of energy you were giving.”
“You’re starting to piss me off. My interest in him isn’t sexual, we have a real romantic connection.”
“You’re delusional. I bet the romantic connection in question was eye contact for one millisecond.”
“Two full seconds, actually.”
“Get well soon.”
“And what makes you any different? You just want to get in his pants, I already have our wedding planned.”
He recoiled. “Jake Sim? Forming a long-lasting relationship and getting married? There’s no reality where that exists.”
He crossed his arms in defense. “Well, you’re witnessing it.”
“Remember that time Jonathan asked you out on a date and you literally grew physically ill?”
He tapped his foot against the floor. “That was because...I just got food poisoning,” he dismissed.
“You’re allergic to the word date or boyfriend.”
“Not true. I can say it with Ethan. Ethan boyfriend, Ethan date. See?”
They waited a second. Jake sneezed. Jay erupted into laughter, pointing at him, ridiculing.
“Something got in my nose.”
“Dude, you can’t be serious,” he ceased his laughing fit before donning a completely serious face. “Let me have Ethan once. I need him inside me just once then you can have him after I swear.”
“Park Jongseong. I promise you if there is one dick that you don’t take up your ass in this school you will live.”
He bit his lip, side-eyeing him. “Will I?”
Jake sighed, exasperated, stepping back and holding his hand as if he were about to collapse.
“There is no reasoning with you, you’re completely dickmatized.”
He put his hands together. “Please let me have him for one night. I can just tell he knows how to fuck, he’s got those eyes.”
“Get off of him, don’t you have that one guy anyway?”
“Steven? Lanyard kid? We’re just friends.”
“Friends don’t make out with each other after school every day behind the dining hall.”
“They can. If one of the friends is interested in a taller and handsomer guy.”
“Why can’t I have anything? I can’t have a hot guy just once all to myself?”
“Nope. Not while I’m your best friend.”
“That will be over shortly then.”
“Because you’re gonna ghost me or something? You know you can’t get rid of me.”
“No, because you’re going to fucking die in the most gruesome way possible.”
“Hello.”
Both of them jumped, literally propelling themselves into the air out of shock. They both looked to the right to see the doors leading to backstage wide open, Lee Heeseung standing there framed by the door, eyes darting between the two as if he himself just got startled.
“Uh...how long have you been standing there, Ethan?” Jake asked nervously, tone wavering with fear.
He shrugged. “I just got here. Heard some of the conversation though.”
Jay tensed. “Such as…?”
“You,” he pointed to Jake, “are planning on killing him?” he pointed to Jay.
Something sinister quelled in Jay’s features before he sprang forward, taking Heeseung by the hand.
“He hates me Ethan, and I don’t even know why! He’s so cruel!” He buried his head into his chest and even sniffled a bit, although there were no tears threatening to form within his eyes.
Heeseung was taken aback, Jake rolled his eyes.
“Stop being dramatic,” he turned to Heeseung, “he’s being stupid, this is just how we talk to each other. We’re best friends, right Jay?” He forced a smile onto his face, staring daggers at Jay who was currently coming in between him and his man.
Heeseung nodded slowly, information still processing in his brain.
“So...no murder?”
“Nope! Right Jay?”
Jay shifted, briefly glancing from behind Heeseung’s shoulder.
“Ethan I’m scared…” He mumbled like a small child, cowering behind Heeseung’s broad shoulders.
Heeseung was a little too kind and a little too gullible, much to Jake’s dismay, turning and taking Jay’s hand in his and giving him a cordial smile.
“Jake’s nice, he won’t do anything to you.”
Jake groaned.
“You guys cannot be serious.” He stepped forward brazenly, taking Heeseung by the arm and dragging him away from the menace. “Jay has to get back to class, so we should get going.”
“I do?”
“Mhm!” Jake nodded vigorously, coaxing Heeseung toward the end of the corridor, reluctant steps falling in line with more spirited ones.
“I believe it’s still break time though—”
“Break time’s over!” Jake yelled with finality as he succeeded in dragging Heeseung out of the hallway and shutting the door.
Jake was focusing more on fiddling with the straps of his backpack than the embarrassingly loud thumping of his heart in his chest. Every step he took only increased his nerves as he thought about meeting Ethan again, thinking about the same feeling he got when he was around.
He’d spent all day with him practically, only separating once the last class of the day came around. They’d accompanied each other to the library, the nurse’s office, the auditorium, the several courts they had for each and every athletic club imaginable.
But it was one encounter in the library that was stuck in his brain, playing on repeat.
He’d meant to grab a book from one of the upper shelves, but pouted as he strained, on his tippy-toes. And then, he felt his hands around his waist, and was suddenly lifted into the air.
His shock had rendered him unable to move, but then realized what he was supposed to be doing, and grabbed the book before he floated down again—but his hands lingered .
And then Heeseung, his larger frame towering over his from behind, leaned forward and spoke softly, soothing, almost a whisper into his ear:
“Thank you, darling.”
And swear to God, Jake almost came on the spot.
It was something about him—his soft-spoken tone of voice, his eyes always glancing down at him with an apprehensive kind of affection, his mannerisms equally gentle as they are confident—that just filled Jake with a sense of being protected, that this boy he’d known for only a few hours had deemed him as a priority.
There was a beautiful contrast in Lee Heeseung. Everything about him was so magnetic in a way that he couldn’t even fault other people for being attracted to him because he was just as much under his spell, probably even moreso. He was reserved yet had a commanding aura, quiet but his actions and body language and eyes did all the talking for him.
He was so tall and so powerful, everything Jake had dreamed about. It was safe to say that he was falling hard and fast.
And so when he turned the corner and saw him leaning against his locker, easily a head taller than it and looking down at his phone all nonchalant and bad-boyish, his heart thrummed even faster. He looked up as he approached, a smile finding itself onto his face too easily and too quickly for Jake’s poor heart that was already in overdrive, tucking his phone into his pocket and standing.
“Hey.”
“Hey.”
He backed away from the locker to let Jake open it, leaning sideways against another one and staring down at him with his usual stoic face that gave him the impression that there weren’t many thoughts behind those eyes. He liked that in a man.
“Thanks for waiting for me. And agreeing to get food with me.”
“No problem. You’re sweet.”
Jake huffed. Just sweet? He wanted to be more than sweet. He wanted him to say “yea sure, then after that we make out in my car because you’re so hot and sexy.” He should’ve been thinking about his physics homework but he was much more interested in the science of getting a sexy man to want to fuck him.
“Also because I need someone to show me around the area. I can only look at the Maps app so many times.”
Jake threw his head back in laughter.
“Yeah I know, that app…it’ll get ya.” He watched as the smile grew the slightest bit bigger in triumph. Laughing at his jokes is definitely the way to get in his pants, whether he looked ridiculous or not.
He finished packing his bag and they were off, walking down the hallway and mumbling about idle things such as how their first day of classes went and whether the schedule was confusing or not and why the word syllabus was so fun to say.
Jake did his best to push himself into Ethan’s side as much as possible while they navigated the heavy traffic of high school hallways after dismissal, looking up with puppy-dog eyes and an apologetic smile as he was so tragically inconveniencing him at the close proximity. Every time he leaned in though, he got another good whiff of his cologne, despite the fact that it had faded a bit since it was now the end of the day.
They reached the parking lot and then idled a bit, Jake taking initiative.
“Um, so, I think we should ride in one car, just for convenience’s sake.”
Heeseung nodded. “We can take mine.”
Jake grinned. “Perfect.”
They started to walk again, now toward one of the further corners of the student parking lot, before Jake tugged his sleeve as he had now gotten in the habit of doing.
“Also you can just drop me home after.”
Heeseung stopped. “Oh, how will you get to school tomorrow then?”
Jake employed the puppy-dog eyes again, planning to make an advance, take it a step further. “Well…I was thinking maybe you could pick me up tomorrow?”
He raised an eyebrow, considering. “Yeah sure, no worries.”
Success. He was such a master at flirting.
Before they could get any further though, Jake caught a familiar tuft of blond hair floating closer in his peripheral vision. His heart dropped.
“Hey guys!” His best friend greeted with a level of cheeriness he only sported right before or after a dick appointment. He grimaced, the realization that he was about to steal his man from him started to sink in.
He hated whenever they fought over boys because Jay always had the charms to come out on top, meanwhile the only thing Jake had to his name was being cute. But Jay wasn’t cute, Jay was sexy, and it pissed him off.
“Hi! Your name’s Jay right?” Heeseung replied cordially.
Jay clasped his hands. “Aw, you remembered?”
“Of course,” Heeseung gave him a smile. Jake’s skin crawled.
“So uh...what’s up? You guys going somewhere?”
Heeseung looked between the two, anticipating Jake would answer. However, the boy stayed quiet, staring daggers at Jay as secretly as he could, whenever Heeseung’s gaze wasn’t directly on him. He was imagining very violent scenarios in his head.
Heeseung finally got the notion that he wasn’t keen to speak, and so he did instead. “Umm…well we were just going to get something to eat, probably walk downtown for a bit just to see things…” his voice trailed off as he continued to look between the pair, Jake’s dejected mood a stark contrast to Jay who was very excited to be here.
He perked up at this. “Oh cool! I could eat.”
He imagined an anvil falling from the sky and crushing him like in Looney Tunes.
Heeseung’s smile widened. “Cool! The more the merrier.”
He seemed content. Jake gave the smallest smile he could muster.
“Yup. Great.”
They started walking together, slowly, and it felt more like a funeral procession with the way Jake’s head hung low and Heeseung’s mind was evidently a little boggled as he quickly picked up on the tension. Jake, however, wasn’t going to forfeit the battle just yet. He floated closer into Heeseung’s side—slightly riskier as they weren’t in a crowded space anymore—and grabbed hold of his arm, not just the loose fabric of his flannel sleeve.
Heeseung peered down at him. “Is something wrong?”
Jake groaned softly as he pressed his face into his arm for a bit then looked up and pouted in a way that made his lips stick out, making them more pronounced than they already were. He hoped they looked kissable. “I just got dizzy all of a sudden, I don’t know.” His eyes glazed over with something ditzy and lost.
The way Heeseung’s face softened up made it all worth it though, the stoicism turning into something sympathetic and kind. “Oh that’s no good. Are you still fine to go out?”
At this, he nodded vigorously.
“It’s not too bad, I’ll just stick close to you. Like this, okay?”
And he returned a reassuring smile at him. And he had to resist the urge to send a villainous smirk Jay’s way, who definitely knew what he was doing with the passive side-eyes he caught. Now who’s jealous?
As they stepped from the road up onto a small grassy area that separated the parking lot into different sections, Jay tripped slightly and his books fell onto the grass.
He brought a hand up to his mouth. “Oh my gosh, this is embarrassing.”
Heeseung was quick to respond. Far too quick. “I’ll get it for you.”
“No I got it!” Jay intervened.
And Jake could’ve combust into flames and burned down the entire school as he knew what was coming, he knew his best friend like the back of his hand. He didn’t miss the small detail of Jay slightly hiking up the back of his t-shirt so it didn’t spill down over his waist as he stepped forward in front of the pair and bent down, hands gliding smoothly down his legs. His pants hugged him perfectly and as he incredibly slowly leaned forward to retrieve his books, it gave both of them a front row viewing of his ass, round and perfect. He even heard him moan when he got all the way down there and started picking up his things.
Jake flicked his eyes nervously to Heeseung who, unsurprisingly, had his gaze glued to the curve of Jay’s ass, ogling it unapologetically. He couldn’t tell whether he was shocked or aroused or affronted, but with the way his mouth dropped open and something like lust pointing lasers directly at Jay’s ass, he quickly grew weary and frustrated.
He was wishing several misfortunes upon his best friend at the moment. He wished his pants tore apart at the seams and he was left looking like an idiot. He wished he didn’t have such a fat, juicy ass that was such a useful weapon sometimes it was unfair. He wished they’d been a little faster from the locker and into the car so they wouldn’t have had to deal with him in the first place. He wished he’d followed through in that promise of a grueling demise sooner.
Jay stood and turned, a pleasant smile forming as Heeseung’s eyes snapped upward to meet his and the daze dissipated, catching him in the act of staring. He knew he had gained the upper hand if his smirk were any indication, and it made Jake want to claw at his own skin.
“Jay,” he called, “I forgot my wallet in your car.” He gave him those eyes as he motioned toward an arbitrary direction, not actually knowing where he parked.
“Yeah, sure,” he gave Heeseung a wink as he followed behind Jake toward a more secluded area. He hoped it was secluded enough so that they wouldn’t get caught again.
They rounded a corner where they were out of earshot of Heeseung and the rest of the students loitering around the parking lot.
“You need to kill yourself.”
“Whoa whoa whoa, the fuck did I do?”
“You know exactly what you did and you know that that was the final nail in your coffin, you’re going to suffer an eternal damnation in the pits of hell.”
“It will all have been worth it once I get that man between my legs.”
“Please shut up. Just shut the fuck up. And please talk about something other than dick for once.”
His frown lengthened, picking up on Jake’s emotional intensity. “Someone’s a little bothered.”
“Of course I’m fucking bothered!” He exclaimed, hands thrown up in the air as was the usual reaction when his emotions started to elevate. “You are ruining my life. ”
“You said that exact same thing when you found out that Steven's into me more than you.”
He put a finger up, shaky with rage, and shut his eyes. “That’s only because he said the sex wasn’t good which is wrong, he just has no idea how to fuck.”
“Not true.”
“He wouldn’t know the word foreplay if it hit him in the head.”
Jay took a step back and a breath, taking in Jake’s form all clad in anger and spite. “So how am I ruining your life exactly?”
“I told you to back off of him. He’s mine, I got to him first, and like I said, we have a real connection. I don’t just want to fuck him I wanna, like, hold hands with him...and stuff.” He stammered, his words tumbling out like they’d just been put in a blender.
Jay shook his head, dismissive. “I’m just not convinced, especially after watching you guys do…whatever the fuck that was. I’ve seen you make moves on guys you’ve hooked up with before and that was definitely a fuck-me-tonight-and-then-don’t-text-me-after kind of move.”
He couldn’t believe he was so predictable. He never stopped to think about how he was recycling the same advances over and over because they simply worked every time and there was no need to innovate. It was all surface level just to show sexual interest and nothing more, and so how is he supposed to show romantic interest?
What even was romantic interest?
He grunted, then stepped forward and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Jay, my bro, my bestie, my everything, can I get vulnerable for a sec?
Jay reasonably tensed, the sudden change coming out of nowhere. “Uh….sure?”
“What if Ethan and I are soulmates, but we will never know because your gorilla grip bussy got in the way of our love?”
Jay gently took his hand from his shoulder and set it down, swinging limply.
“I’ll make you a deal.” Jake perked up, eyes a little doubtful but clinging onto hope. “We fuck, strictly sex, no kissing, no dirty talk, nothing. And then, I tell him that your hole is even tighter and also, um, you’re into whatever he’s into. I’ll improvise.”
Jake wound his mouth inward, disgruntled. “No.”
“Why not?”
“If you fuck him before me it’ll break my heart. We’ll get married and I won’t even be able to focus on us because I’ll keep thinking—ugh , my best friend got to you before me, our love will never be genuine.”
“You’re being dramatic.”
“And you are being an ass.”
“You are what you eat.”
“What?”
“What?”
They both stared at each other, arms crossed and guarded.
Jay spoke up first.
“I’ll give you a day.”
Jake immediately leaped in joy inhumanly high. “Oh thank you so much thank you so, so much Jay I’ll pay you back someday.”
“Yeah yeah, I’m giving you exactly 24 hours. If I don’t hear any updates by tomorrow afternoon I’ll be standing at his car with a bag of condoms and lube and I’m not saying sorry.”
But Jake was already running back toward the car, looking back and shouting, a smile ear-to-ear on his face, “LOVE YOU!” And he even flew up his arms and made a big heart before turning and running at full speed toward the love of his life. He was leaning against the car, all badboy-ish again, and Jake couldn’t help but think fuck, he’s so sexy.
“Hey.” Even the way he looked up from his phone and his eyebrows jolted a little bit was sexy.
“Hey,” Jake breathed, only a little winded from the slight jog he did to get back.
Heeseung looked a little way behind him then refocused. “Jay isn’t coming?”
He shook his head. “He forgot that he had...uh...his niece’s birthday party...at four...so uh. Yeah.”
He didn’t seem too suspicious, or if he did, then he wasn’t inclined to pry any more.
“Got your wallet?”
“Hm?” Then he remembered the excuse he used to get him alone. “Oh! Yeah! Right here.” He tapped his pocket and with a slight nod, both of them piled into the car.
Heeseung stuck the key into the ignition and he felt the vehicle start to rumble, and he should’ve been planning their outing but he couldn’t stop thinking about the events that just transpired. He couldn’t stop thinking about the way Heeseung was practically licking his lips at the sight of Jay’s ass, he couldn’t stop thinking about him calling him sweet and cute. Maybe he wasn’t enough for him, maybe this wasn’t going in the direction he wanted.
Heeseung took hold of the stick and gave a cursory glance behind—which he looked very hot doing by the way—before Jake stopped him.
“Hey, can I just say something really quick? I need to get something off my chest, I think.”
He looked a little caught off-guard, but not really concerned, as he put the car back in park and turned toward him.
“What’s up?”
And all the confidence drained from his body and he felt like an empty tube of toothpaste with the way he wanted to roll over into himself and he wished he wasn’t being stared down by those doe-like eyes anymore. He sighed.
“I’m making myself sound really stupid by saying this, but Ethan, you’re really fucking hot, and I really like you. And I don’t know how to navigate this really because it’s kind of weird...I don’t know, like it’s never been like this before...like I want to be around you...and I like talking to you…and I think that—”
“Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa,” he stopped him by putting a hand up, “Jake, where is this coming from?”
He gulped, fear and regret starting to set in.
“Uh...I’m sorry just...I’m on a time limit here so I figured…”
“Jake,” he looked at him with maybe the most stern face he’d seen him have in a while, “Jake, forgive me for being so forward, but I know. Your...uh...your actions, I guess I can say, have been very...well...for lack of a better term, direct. I think anybody would be able to tell.”
He scrunched his face, the words stinging.
“Yeah...yeah…”
“And that feeling you’re feeling...of wanting to be around somebody, of enjoying being around somebody. I think those are called having feelings for a person.”
He nodded like an elementary school child being taught something. “I see…so I have feelings...for you?”
Heeseung nodded. “It certainly seems that way.”
Anxiety and his fear of rejection started to rear its head. “Do you...do you feel the same way about me?”
He breathed out softly through his nose as he turned his gaze away and looked out through the windshield.
“Jake, I certainly think you’re cute and I like being around you, and I like when you’re clingy and when you smile, and I think your lips are so full and so gorgeous, and I’m not ashamed to admit the thought of kissing you has come up once or twice.” He looked back and was met with a rather stunned Jake, and grinned. “See? You’re so cute.”
“Ethan, I…wait, so you are into me?”
He shrugged. “I mean, I suppose.”
“And you don’t want to fuck Jay?”
His eyes widened with shock. “I...excuse me?”
“Come on, you saw him. You’re saying you want me over him?”
“Jake, I think you have the wrong idea,” he placed his hand on Jake’s thigh, and he knew it was meant to be a calming gesture but it kind of turned him on. “I’m not looking for…” he sighed, thinking about the correct words to use. “I’m not that kind of person, I guess I should say. Sure, your friend has a really nice ass—”
“Oh God— ”
“But, I’m not going to jump on someone just because of that, I care more about them as a person. I’m not looking for...I believe you call it a hookup? Is that it?”
Jake hummed. “Oh...okay I get it...I do, I do…” But something inside of him was still hung up on the distinction between feelings and wanting to fuck him. Could they both co-exist?
“I assume you usually uh...you do hookups, right?”
Jake nodded, now embarrassed. “Yeah, that’s kinda my whole...my whole thing…”
Heeseung still held some reservations. “I mean, I’d be willing to give us a try, but I really wouldn’t like to jump headfirst into it with a hookup. We can take it slow, that is if you want to try.”
And he scrunched his nose because he wasn’t expecting it to go like this. He was expecting either a ew no I don’t want to fuck you or a yes let’s head back to my place now! But this left him in the middle of nowhere, in uncharted territory. He didn’t know what people did at the beginning when they wanted to have a relationship with somebody.
“I...I don’t know if it’s what I want…” He muttered, but then looked up and the pang of slight sadness crossing over Heeseung’s face was enough to make his heart shudder with guilt.
He remembered the way his hands wrapped around his waist at the library, he remembered the smell of his cologne, he remembered the smiles he gave him. Of course it turned him on, but was there something else?
“Well...we can still try it, right? That’s what going slow means...we don’t do anything too hasty and we can see if we like it, yeah?” Heeseung was almost pleading, but Jake could tell that this was pretty much his last stand.
He’d always dreamed of his life being like those coming-of-age movies: getting picked up by a dashing young man, going to a restaurant on a date, or the fair, or shopping, holding hands under the moonlight, dancing, laughing, drinking. Maybe it wasn’t too late for that.
“We could give it a try,” he said smally, then looked up, more resolute. “I want to try, Ethan.”
The pleasant smile returned to Heeseung’s face, the worry and apprehension evaporating as soon as he heard the words. He didn’t look overjoyed, but it beat the disappointment he was experiencing after hearing he may have just been rejected.
“Great.” He had his hand at the top of the steering wheel and returned his gaze outward. “Great, great, great. Cool.” He nodded, then turned back to him. “So, are we ready to get going?”
“One more thing,” Jake held up a finger, “just humor me here, okay?”
Heeseung grimaced. “In the small amount of time I’ve known you, Jake, I already feel like you’re going to say something ridiculous.”
Even though it was basically an insult, he grinned mischievously. “Okay but seriously, I need you to tell me whether my ass is fat or not.”
This drew a long sigh from Heeseung, the near future flashing through his mind as he had to quickly come to terms with the fact that he’d be dealing with Jake Sim and all of his antics for at least a little while. He could handle it though.
“Jake, I’m not going to—”
Before he had the chance to finish, Jake was already adjusting himself, turning away from Heeseung in order to stick his butt out, sandwiched awkwardly in the cramped passenger seat.
“Jake?”
“You can touch it, it’s okay!” He inched his ass closer, wearing one of his tighter pairs of jeans.
Heeseung quickly realized that it was better to humor him instead of trying to refuse, and so, he tentatively reached out and grabbed a handful of Jake’s left asscheek.
“Fuck.”
“Jake.”
“Sorry.”
He recollected himself and sat down properly.
“So?” His eyes were wide with expectation, foot tapping nervously as he awaited the verdict.
Heeseung’s eyes darted to the side awkwardly. “It’s...I mean it’s fine Jake, I really don’t care how fat your ass is.”
“Is Jay’s fatter?”
Heeseung looked in the opposite direction entirely, staring out of his own driver’s window.
“I’m not answering that.”
“Fine,” Jake rolled his eyes, “I wanted to see if you’d lie for my sake or not.”
He swiveled back around with a small sigh and those signature kind eyes.
“So can we, finally, leave?”
Jake nodded solemnly. “I suppose.”
And then, they were off.
