Zero didn’t know what part of Giga City he was in anymore. All he knew was he had one of X’s boot attachments and he was worried to death about his partner. He shouldn’t, he knew it was foolish when X proved he was capable on his own so many times. The blue hunter even had an upgraded body that allowed him to use a powerful armor at will.
Zero gripped the shoe part in his hand tighter. He shoved the current opponent onto the ground. The enemy in his grip stumbled onto his back and Zero aimed his saber at their neck. The rebellion reploid was shaking in fear.
“I’m giving you to the count of 10 to tell me if you’ve seen a blue reploid with the other slipper.”
The enemy reploid’s jaw hung dumbly open.
“W-what?”
“9.”
“Wait, I don’t know—“
“8.”
“HELLLLPPP!!!”
The rebellion canon fodder tried to make a mad dash for it. Zero exhaled, why did they always have to make it difficult?
Well, difficult for them, not so much himself.
With a flick of his wrist, the reploid was torn apart with his z-saber. Zero saw the body go limp, just another motionless reploid in the increasing trail he was leaving behind. He lost count how many, he would have thought by the 5th they would realize fighting back was as pointless as running away. From the corner of his eye, Zero found another guy. The poor reploid honestly thought he could outrun the red hunter.
Zero dashed ahead to cut him off then picked the rebellion soldier up by his collar. He tried not to sound so desperately frustrated that no one would talk to him.
“Ok, humor me. Have you seen a guy who has the other one of these heels?”
“FOR THE LOVE OF EPSILON—-“
“STOP FIGHTING BACK AND ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!!!”
