Chapter Text

This was not how she expected her life would be.

You could hear them outside your house, and you refused to let them touch your babies. You would sacrifice yourself before you ever let them touch your babies. Once you and your boys decided to part ways you decided to drop off the map, it wasn’t hard seeing who your mother is being raised by a spy had its perks. Because you lived outside the city that made your children a bit sheltered, but they were two years old and you’d rather keep them safe and with you than staying somewhere you weren’t wanted.

Running into the twins’ room you located them playing on the floor quietly with some blocks grabbing their small backpacks you kept packed for situations of this, you placed one on the back of each of them and then crouched down in front of them. “Mommy loves you” You said. Pulling out a photo you showed it to them both. “Look at this picture ok and think of standing in front of this building. Once your there, walk in the door and go to the big desk you see ok.” They looked at you with tears in their eyes. “Where are you going mommy?” your baby boy asked. “You come too mommy?” your mini me says. You teared up yourself you’ve never been away from them from the time you knew they existed in your stomach. “Not right now baby but later I will come”. She nods her head at you, you hear the door give way down below on the first floor. “Go now ok.” You kiss them both on their cheek and smile at them as you hear footsteps running up the stairs.

Rushing to close the door to give them time to escape, you knew it was the only way to keep them safe. You knew that if you went with them, they wouldn’t stop chasing you or them. Sending them to the last group of people you would want to see but the ones you know will keep them the safest is what you must do. You turned around and they were gone. Knowing they were safe you basically surrendered. The door bursts open, and you prepare for a fight best to go down swinging than willingly letting them take you out the house. Grabbing one of the blades you keep always hidden on your person you let it fly, and hear it hit one of its targets. Gurgling from the agent can be heard as the body drops to the floor. A body slams into you and you let your arms and legs fly you for every punch that hits a target two more hits you back. You know this is a losing fight but just maybe you can make it out. A fist hits you right in the nose as your head snaps back it disables you for just enough time for them to subdue you. When you first heard them got wind of them being outside you had left a code for your mother to decipher when she comes looking for you.

In walks the last person you wanted to see. All fighting stops when he walks into the room. “Well hello sweetheart. Where are my grandkids?” He says. Your ears are still ringing slightly from some of the hits you’ve taken. You look at him crazy like what the hell is he talking about. “What are you talking about your not my dad. What do you want, why do you keep hunting me?” He ignores everything you just said. “We have much to catch up on.” He turns around and walks out the room and one of his top men walks up to you and grabs you. “Rumlow.” You say with the most disgust you can. He just smirks at you and grabs your arm to walk you out the room. “Search the whole house and find them.” Rumlow commands to the men.
