Chapter Text
Midoriya and his mom had just gotten back from the doctor saying that he was quirkless. His mother, inko, knew that her husband wasn't going to react kindly. He had always been discriminatory towards those who have low ability quirks, she could only imagine what he like towards those without any ability. When inko arrived at the rather small apartment they lived in, she saw hisashi, Izuku's father, standing outside waiting their arrival. Inko knew that this was only because of his lack of knowledge in this current situation.
They all went inside, hisashi could see that his wife was nervous. She was never well at hiding thing's. He decided to see what happens, not letting his anger and curiosity get the best of him.
"How was the doctor's, kid?" Hisashi turned to his son, who was zoned out, staring at the ground. The sparkle in his eyes that was there, didn't seem as bright anymore.
"About that, hisa-" inko tried to approach the topic but hisashi cut her off quickly.
He turned towards her and the way his words was spoken, anyone could tell that he was going to do this his way.
"I asked izuku, not you." Inko could tell by the tone of his voice the he already knew something was up, and he was furious.
With the way hisashi talked to inko, it somehow broke izuku out of whatever trance he was in. Izuku looked up in what seemed to be shock, because he has never experience his father talk with that amount of malice.
"He turned back towards Izuku, who's a little shaken up. "I'll ask one more time, what happened at the doctor appointment?" Hisashi knew he may be going a bit far, but he doesn't care. Right know he is too blinded by his rage.
Izuku looked at his mother to see if she had the answer he was supposed to give. Sadly she did not.
So izuku did what exactly waht he was raised to do..."He said i was- i was Quirkless." He told the truth.
In that moment, inko heart dropped as hisashi's eyes glazed over with a crimson red that is only ever correlated with one thing.
Blood.
Izuku's eyes shift between his mother and his father, this was the moment panic finally begins to set in for him.
Hisashi got up and made his was to inko, the two frozen in place could smell his quirk starting to work.
"Is this true, and you better be honest. You know what will happened if your not." Hisashi backed inko in a corner that was just barely in Izuku line of vision.
Izuku's father looked at inko, with his patience running thin he waited for her answer. "Ye-yes the doctor said- he said izuku will never get a quirk."
Hisashi let her finish which was a surprised to inko, the time she's experienced him like this he was never this "kind". Although it didn't last long.
He no longer had any patience if you could could call it that, whatever it may be. It snapped. The next thing anyone knew was that inko's face had stung, izuku heard a noice that was loud enough to make him jump.
His father was on a blind rage spree that could only be described as terrifying. Both Izuku and inko was paralyzed with fear, all they could do is watch until hisashi calmed down.
But the yelling was getting alarming, it was at a point inko's neighbors we're exchanging veiws on whether or not they should go ask if they were ok.
When Izuku's father was tired of yelling at the two of them, when they clearly weren't listening. He escalated things, quickly.
Hisashi had turned on his quirk, letting it get hotter as it sat in his throat. He turned back towards inko and let go of the containment he had on his quirk, essentially murdering his wife.
Izuku being the one having to watch all of this promptly falls to his knees. He may be 4 but he completely understands what has taken place. Izuku has spent hours online rewatching the video of all might saving people. He sadly knows what it looks like when someone is no longer a conscious person, just a lifeless body.
He looks at his mother and recognizes the glazed over eyes, the stillness, and the absence of screams.
Izuku didn't realize that he had been letting out his own cries of help, along with actual tears.
Hisashi glanced at lzuku "this" he points and their house and inko, " this is your fault. Get that through your skull now, the faster your pathetic excuse of a brain can comprehend that, the easier this will be. Y'know if you hadn't be so goddamn useless maybe you could have done something about it, you could've saved your pathetic mother.
After the police showed up, Izuku's father stated to them that he was out at the store, when he got home there was a fire.
Somehow, someway, he was able to convince the police that he was just barely able to get his little boy out. When he finished talking to the cops, he look at midoriya's blank face, tears starting to form in midoriya's eyes...and his 'father' told him to never say a word or he would be next.
Because their apartment was unable to fixed, they were told the best option was to just move.
So they did, and when this happened. It ment everyone that they knew wasn't there, meaning no one was there to help Izuku.
Over the next year his abusive father made sure to he tortured Izuku Midoriya everyday, right up until he turned 5.
When his birthday rolled around he was sent to the U.S. to take his 'fathers' place as the number 1 villain, surpass his old man and then hisashi wanted midoriya to kill All Might. When he arrived at the airport, midoriya was taken to the wrong car.
There was a mix up on kids there happen to be two midoriya's. So Izuku, instead of being trained to take down the symbol of peace, he was put through the training for 10yrs to be the #1 hero or more so an assassin for the hero commission.
However, because Midoriya Izuku was the wrong kid, they would bully and abuse him for not having a quirk...until one day he did.
Midorya had been at this training facility for about two years, so he's pretty used to the treatment they give him.
Early one morning, one of the top agent's that were in charge of teaching the kids decided to pay Izuku a visit.
And while izuku was used to being woken up earlier than the others that were training right along side him. He was just put through the ringer and he could barely stand up.
So even of he wanted to, be couldn't do anything to stop this man from torturing him.
All he did after the man had left was lay there in a puddle of his own blood and hope that he would still be able to run later, if not that just ment more punishment.
He expected to have to clean up a bunch of wounds and cuts, maybe even so bruises. But to his shock and others, there was nothing but a scar.
That day they found out at the age of 7 he had the ability to control the 4 elements and possibly more. He had been told they were calling his quirk the 7 dragon's, because of the ancient storys that had been passed down generation of a power just like his.
Although, all he thought of when they named it that was his sperm donner. On the brighter note he also has he mother's telekinesis, it was just 3x stronger. Which was why it took so long for it to show.
His body just wasn't ready yet.
The 7 dragon's quirk is 7 different elements that dragon's were able to control in ancient times when they were still alive.
Midoriya didn't just get one of them like other people have claimed, he got all of them rolled into one very powerful quirk.
All of what he can create or control is fire, water, earth, air, ice/snow, metal, and electricity. And his 3rd part of the quirk was powerful healing, which was summed up to reasonable for everyone because of the storys they were all told as children.
When the higher up's found out that midoriya could heal himself and others, the medics and nurse's had put in a class to learn how to help other's with it. From then on he was helping the nurse's the best he could.
When he came to training, he wasn't as lucky with the older agent's, no one who had a healing quirk was. They would make sure that midoriya was hurt beyond what they would do to a normal human being who didn't possess his healing quirk.
midoriya was stabbed, sliced, burned, shocked by electricity, if you could name something tortuous, he probably had to suffer through it.
He learnd very quickly that he was not to speak unless spoken to, and he definitely had to leave to stuttering behind.
Once he tried to stand up to one the assholes that would bully the newer kids, while he got a few good punches in, he was beaten with a bat that one of thet guy had and anyone with a strength quirk threw him around until he could barely breath.
Out of all of the 'lessons' he was put throug, the burning by fire he had gotten used to long before this prison they call a training facility.
All he could remember during the abuse he dealt with, was his 'father' burning his mother till her last breath right in front of him.
And him getting away with it was enough to get izuku to push through anything.
He felt like he was responsible for her death, one because his 'father' would always say that she was gone because he was so useless, and he two because midoriya wasn't able to stop his 'father' from hurting her.
So he would deal with the training and the jackass's here if it mean the next time he sees his 'father', he gets to be the reason he goes down.
He wasn't sure how long it would take, he didn't think it would only take him 8 year's though
Izuku has been pushed to the limit's for another 6 years after his quirk came into the picture
He normally would be released from the training facility in two more years, but he's been trained so much with his quirk that he could easily overpower anyone they threw at him. It got to the point that they made him train without his quirk for the last 2 and a half years he was there, not that that was any different then what he did when he first got to the facility.
So when the time came for him to leave, there were tears from some, cheers from other's, but overall he was gonna miss most of the people who raised him. They were definitely better then his sperm donner, at least in Izuku's opinion they were.
Even though he was dreading going home he had to leave. So he got on the plane and for the 13 hours he thought of what the hell he was going to do about his 'father'.
Izuku got off the plane, he still hadn't thought of a solid plan to have his 'father' arrested. He was basically untouchable. It made Izuku have a weird feeling the only way he could describe it, was nervousness,
'Guess i did get my mothers anxiety, huh.' He smiled slightly as he recalled the few memories from before his life went to shit.
Izuku quietly think about his 'father' as he waits to be picked up from the airport.
'What if he got worse, the agent's didn't really let us see the newspapers unless it was significant. They never really told us what was considered 'significant' so it was just a waiting game when it came to that stuff.
After izuku waited for almost 30 minutes for a ride, he thought it was more sensible to walk.
It wasn't a far walk from the airport to the small apartment that the hero commission was paying for until he was 18.
Only when he was about halfway there, he felt as if he was being watched. So he stopped under a bridge of sorts. Looked around and out of the corner of his eye he saw what seemed to be slime or even a sludge.
Once the what he assumed to be a villain realized that he had been seen, it lunged for izuku. And of course izuku did an easy sidestep so he could get a better look at whatever was trying to attack him.
'It's a sludge villan, meaning his body has a large amount of water..this should be a peice of cake. He looks like a low grade villain'.
Izuku got close enough to touch the villan and tried out his plan of freezing him, just to see if it would work. And Izuku was right, it did.
Seconds after Izuku froze him, All Might showed up searched for the villain, and to his surprised to see said villain frozen and what looked like a 13 year old standing next to the mess.
Izuku turned around and had seen the number one hero, of he had heard about him, if not from the training 'school', it came from the hatred his sperm donor has for the man.
Even most of the people he had grown somewhat attached to and would even call family (or what he thinks what a family is supposed to treat you like) had very mixed feelings about the number one hero, most of which were not on the positive side.
Some even down right despised him.
And everytime he had asked why, they told him he would find out soon enough.
Although he knew that all of the articles he read were definitely ran by the hero administration, so anything that could ruin this mans reputation even in the slightest, was definitely destroyed.
The only thing left was the word of those who witnessed it, and that was if the hero administration didn't get ahold of them to keep them quiet.
No matter what the consequences be.
So even 8 years later, he doesn't know exactly why he was horrible, but he had a feeling he was about to find out.
Izuku looked back at the solid mucus like villain and saw that he was starting to melt.
"You may want to hurry up and take the villain into custody, before the ice that is keeping him from escaping completely melts." As izuku finishes talking, all might finally decided to say something.
"I can see that you've taken care for this villain for me, i assure you i had this uder control. And quiet frankly i wish you would have waited for a hero to help you instead of using your quirk young one. Seeing as it is illegal to do so without a license. You could've gotten a severe punishment that im sure your parents would appreciate having to deal with."
The way all might had said the word villain, Izuku raised an eyebrow.
He always been taught and full heartedly believed that yes they are villains, and some may turn to that side of things because they just wanted to, and that the actually enjoy hurting, ruining and even killing innocent people and their lives.
But the majority had no other choice in the matter. Most shunned for the quirk they have or lack there of. Some never got to morn an important lose and went mad over it. Some never had a safe place, so when they finally found one, no one is going to give it up so easily.
The souls that were tortured, used and abused that were never given the time to heal always ended up hating the society that depicted them as a monster until they became one and anyone that defended the administration, were right under them one the list.
They're human, they deserve to be given a chance. Izuku was put through vigorous training to look at a villain and see if saving them was an option before the Hero Administration got a chance to kill them.
Izuku was getting a peek into what his parental figures were taking about.
And after doing his job, he had the nerve to lecture him.
"If you had everything under control, i would have been attacked (we all know izuku was plenty fast enough to beat said villain for hours without breaking a sweat, but all might didn't need to know that.) not that you've payed attention to that fact in slightest.
"How ironic, the number one hero breaking the first rule after apprehending a villain.
"'Always make sure the victim is ok and doesn't need medical attention, if he/she/they do in fact require such needs. Proceed with caution and calmness so you do not cause further injuries and anxiety to the patient.'
"But you know that right all might, with all the training and decades of practice. There's no way of forgetting. You just ignored it didn't you?"
Izuku Midoriya read him like an open book the very second he got chance.
The look on all might face, shaped into one of slightly fearful, it almost made izuku want to keep tearing into him until he found out why he was so horrible according to the very agents who he was raised and trained by.
But sadly it was stopped when all might suddenly wasn't what he looked like 30 seconds ago.
Izuku blinked a couple time, just to make sure his eye sight hasn't gotten any worse.
He had always questioned anyone about their quirk. He totally geeked out when someone would talk to him about them.
The biggest mystery for Izuku when it came to quirks, was All Mights.
No matter how much research he did, no matter how much he bugged the administration about it.
Nothing. He couldn't find anything, the pro hero in question always dodged the question, one way or another.
With the way All Might fought, the amount of strength he held. Izuku knew there was more to his quirk then what was reasonable.
It probably wouldn't be so hard to figure out if izuku could find his legal name. But it feels like the hero administration erased that part of history.
"Damn it, i ran out of time. This wouldn't have been a problem if you just stuck to law. You look perfectly fine, if you needed medical attention you wouldn't be trying to reprehend the pro hero that has had plenty of training to know the signs of injuries, which you haven't shown in the slightest.
"Now, if you run along and keep your mouth closed about this, we won't have any problems."
Izuku almost looked amused, excited, if you will.
He was finally putting things together. It was starting to make sense.
And All Might, the supposed best hero in the world, had the nerve to push him aside without having the knowledge of who he was.
What a mistake that would be.
"Now, now All Might, or is it the name Toshiori Yagi the one you prefer?
"There is no need to be so hostile. Honestly, i'll leave and never bother you again. But first, i need you to answer a question or two."
While Izuku had a good idea of what was going on, and at the moment he didn't have a reason to care.
But one of the questions happen to be a personal one, one that could easily determine someone's character.
When the Hero Administration found out about the biological connection Izuku had to one of the worst villains to walk the earth.
Some don't even believe he's real, but izuku is living proof that he is.
Half of the Administration wanting nothing to do with izuku, the other half decide to use him to their advantage.
So, why not have a little fun messing with a certain pro hero at least while he's able to. After all his boss is probably going to give him a lecture later, one long enough it should be considered illegal.
His train of thoughts were cut short when All Might's shock wore off.
"How do you know that name, it- it should have been erased off any public record's." He finally spoke, it was shaken, but oddly in an angry way.
"That's not important, but if you must know. You'd be surprised what you can find if you dig far enough. Now if i can recall correctly, 6 year's ago you were severely injured in fight with wildfire or better known historically as all for one.
"If i've analyzed this without error, that injury of yours is the reason your on a time limit, the one you slipped up about just a couple of mins ago.
"At the very moment i don't like you, but if you would be interested, i could heal it. I may not like you but you are the number one hero, you still save lives
It may not be in a correct way, but i can't deny that the society depends on you. So to my better judgment, if i can help, i should.
I'll deal with the consequences, whatever those may be."
All Might took a minute to comprehend what all was said.
But when he did, all he did was stare at Izuku for a moment.
"Kid, i don't know what your talking about. One you have a ice quirk, two all for one is just a myth. So run along before we have problems."
All might turned away, shifting back into his other form.
Not without coughing up a lung of course.
Izuku was slowly becoming more annoyed with the pro hero.
Izuku debated for a moment and decided to show All Might what he meant.
As All Might walked towards the mealting villain who was barely conscious and put them in a bottle he found close by.
Although behind him, Izuku's hands were glowing a prominent shade of green.
With enough focus, izuku was able to find the general area without seeing the injury.
And with one thought, izuku was able to heal the injury no other doctor could.
All might stumbled a bit, fell after he realized what had happened. He lifted his shirt and all that was left was a large scar in place of the injury.
Of course All Might, who was still in a decent amount of shock, turned around fast enough to cause whiplash to not only him but to people who just had to watch it.
Izuku stifled a laugh, he found it a little amusing watching the number one hero be speechless because of the amount of shock and surprised he was experiencing.
"What did you do? How- How did you do it? You have an ice quirk. Who are you?"
It wasn't a surprise to izuku that All Might was finally starting to ask questions.
"One- i healed you
Two- i think you know that answer, and if you don't. Oh well.
Three- you may or may not get as answer after my next question.
You know all or one, or you prefer to call him wildfire. Right?
Of course you do, you've only been trying to take him down for years.
Well, he has a kid.
Shocking, i know."
Izuku knew he was being sarcastic, but honestly he didn't know when we was going to be able to have another chance like this. So he was making the best of it.
"I happen to know them, they've always wanted to be a hero. But with everything they've had to go through and deal with, not to mention the knowledge of who they're related to and the constant reminder of it, they never tried nor do they want to anymore.
As sad and aggravating as it is that they've been treated so horribly that they no longer feel the want to help like they used to, that's not what matters at the moment.
What does matter is the question i need you to answer with what you think is the complete truth, do you think they could be a hero, All Might?"
Yes it was selfish, and izuku knew that. But he needed the answer. He can wallow in self-hatred later.
Which he would regret later but that's for future izuku to deal with.
"You really think the child of the worst villain in history would make a good hero. They're probably going to end up like them, if they aren't already. If they were to do anything that had to do with being a hero and it got out who theu were related to, it would be horrible. The image they have to the public would be ruined." All Might stated loudly and annoyed as if it was common sense.
Izuku knew better than to take it to heart, but after being told that more times than he can remember from everyone.
If not the exact idea, it was along the lines of izuku not being the 'right fit' for the job of a hero. He was better behind the scene, in the shadows, he was just another killing machine for the system.
All he wanted to do, more than anything, was to bring that system.
Help the lost and troubled soul's that no one bothered with. The kids who have been labeled as the lost causes of society.
It's cheesy as hell, but izuku plans on taking everything down one way or another.
"I see, all i can say now is i hope you have the day you deserve, Yagi."
All Might scowled at his legal name being mentioned but it didn't really matter. Izuku had turned around and was almost out of sight.
All Might to grab the bottle that had fallen out of his hand when he izuku had healed his wound.
The only problem was, the bottle was empty.
