“I was informed that a Celestial was attacked and we're ordered to assist Admiral Kizaru. Let's set sail everyone!” The captain's loud voice rang throughout the ship.
“Yes Sir!” Everyone on board yelled back in union. Formation of white uniforms moving around the deck, with determination on their steps. Satisfied, the young marine captain smirked and looked around until he landed his eyes on the navigator.
“How long untill we reach Sabaody?” The young captain swung down from the masthead, landing near a red haired woman. She did not act surprised at this antic, and with a glance over at the map said with conviction:
“The wind is perfect today, with the current course we’ll get there after 15 minutes!”
“Awesome.” He grinned, cracked his knuckles “I can’t wait to catch all those damn pirates!”
“You look energetic today captain.” A swordsman smirked up from lower deck, swords clutched in his hands.
“Of course! I heard there are 9 newbies on the same island, this is gonna be so fun~” The other crackled “Things have been boring recently, I bet your swords are eager for a fight too Zoro.”
“Damn right Luffy.”
The long-nose marine next to him wasn't as excited as his comrades.
“Ahhh I suddenly develop the disease of “I will die if I go on land and fight 9 over-100-berries-wanted pirates”, can I just stay here?” He shuddered, which just made Luffy clap his back, and laugh cheerfully.
“Don't be like that Usopp! It will be really cool to fight all of them! And they better put up a nice fight or else I'll give them a good punch!”
"That's just what fighting is..." Usopp mumbled "I feel sorry for the pirate who has to put up with you."
The young marine burst into laughter again.

Unlike the cheerful mood on a certain marine ship, Supernova Trafalgar D. Water Law couldn’t believe his luck today.
First he got to meet the famous Dark King Silver Rayleigh and gathered some valuable information regarding Doflamingo. You would think finally he struck his lucky stars today.
But of course, that wasn’t the norm for the Surgeon of Death.
Later on, a fight broke out between the Kid pirates and the On Air crew that got the attention of marines. If that wasn’t bad enough, a damn Celestial Dragon wanted to make his precious Bepo a pet. Law would admit he couldn’t think straight when it came to his best friend's safety.
As soon as Bepo cried out when that clown pulled his ears, the surgeon lost his composure.
The moment he felt his knuckles throbbing, he already punched the guy in the face.
'We are so fucked' was his immediate reaction.
So there they were, running away for their life to get to the submarine before the Admiral and hundreds of marine fleets completely surround Sabaody. Standing next to him, Eustass Kidd laughed loudly:
“Holy shit Trafalgar, you absolute mad man! I can’t believe you, of all people, dare to punch a Celestial Dragon!”
“Can you just shut up and help me break through all these marines?!” He groaned miserably “And whose fault was it that these marines are here now?! If you and Apoo just kept quiet we wouldn’t have these many enemies!”
“I’ll admit that I’m at fault as well but you are the one that got the Admiral’s attention! What an attention seeker!”
“I swear to god if you say one more word I’ll-“
The threat didn’t even leave his mouth when a loud boom happened. A bright light from the distance caught their eyes.
“Damnnnn it’s Kizaru! Damn you really takes the whole ‘steal the spotlight’ seriously!” Kid whistled. The veins were about to pop out of Law’s head at this point. It didn’t help that Penguin and Shachi were screaming behind him. A hoard of marines were approaching them from both sides.
“ROOM!” “REPEL!”
So far it was quite easy to push back these guys, but Law couldn’t help feeling uneasy, especially when Kizaru was probably noticed of their current location already.
“Captain!” An urgent voice rang out from his Den Den Mushi. Law asked:
“I’m here. What’s wrong Ikkaku?”
“There are 20 more marine ships coming up from the north side! Me and Uni will have to submerge right now before they spot us! When you’re about to reach the shore please call so I can pick you guys up!”
“No need.” A plan already formed in his mind. “Just make sure that Polar Tang is hidden carefully. Prepare some cargo so I can use Shambles to teleport us all back to the submarine. That way you don’t need to come to the surface!”
“Roger that!”
As soon as the line went off, all Law’s hair suddenly stood up. The uneasy feeling rose up in his lungs-
“Yahoooooooooo!!”
A loud crash immediately halted all the pirates’ advance and a strong wave of wind immediately hit his face.
“Damn that felt good!” A cheerful voice rang out the battlefield, and as soon as the ash cleared Law could see a young man standing in a big hole, undoubtedly caused by the same person. In his arms are a furious green hair guy with three swords on his hip, and a blond man holding a burned out cigarette.
“Are you trying to kill us all?? How many times did I tell you not to flung us off the ship like that?!” The swordsman furiously shook the teen and in turns greeted with more laughter.
“Shishishi~ But that makes us come on shore much quicker!”
“Just quit it already, you clearly know we couldn’t force Luffy to do anything moss for brain.”
“What did you just call me?!”
Kid looked at him, confused about what’s happening. Law gave him a similar look, but he already recognized who they are.
Marines. And probably a captain and commanders.
Law immediately activated his ROOM and he could see the red haired pirate also arranged a barrier of guns and swords from all the defeated enemies.
Suddenly the playful mood from the trio dispersed like it never happened. The black hair teen grinned and charged towards them, unafraid of the sharp edges of all the weapons pointing at him.
“GOMU GOMU NO PISTOL!”
The metal barrier immediately broke off and behind him the other two speeded up, focusing on Kid. Law raised his hand, SHAMBLES the pirate captain away. He heard the annoyed groans from the attackers and smirked.
But his cockiness didn’t last long before a punch went just pass his face.
“Tch!” He jumped back, and before he could comprehend the stretching limb went after him again. Law pulled Kikoku up in the air just in time to prevent the next blow and the impact rang against his ears. He heard an amused chuckle from the other guy.
“Oh~ Your power is really strange!”
“Yours is stranger.” ‘Armament Haki huh’ Law felt dread crept up, this guy wasn’t going to be down quickly. A quick glance to his left and he could see Kid was busy defending against the duo who were attacking him in sync.
“Your opponent is me!” A kick to his gut made his footing faltered, blood rising to his mouth. The teen was clearly annoyed and pissed off seeing the pirate not focusing on him. He tried to open up the ROOM but was forced to raise his nodachi when the other advanced. Law didn’t know if this was intentional or not but clearly the rapid attacks were preventing him from using his power.
He had faith that if it kept up he could fight an equal fight against the young marine, but Kizaru was right after them and stalling here would put himself and his crew in a bad spot. He knew asking the red haired to end the fight with this young marine was futile when it seems the marine duo was giving him just as much trouble. Meanwhile the enemies were regaining their formation and soon would corner them from all sides.
Law who was known for being a tactician, decided to make a bold move.
He lowered Kikoku and braced himself for a strong blow from the black haired marine.
“Ack!” The other teen certainly didn’t hold back at all, he could hear his rib cracked already. But since all his punches were meant to render him weak with no killing intent, Law gritted his teeth and raised his fingers to open up ROOM.
Luffy was just about to take advantage when his whole body went rigid and got lifted up in the air. He was interested in flying but not like this – he thought – and started spinning uncontrollably. The pirate smirked at him and raised his nodachi, cut off his limbs. Amid the heated battle he found that even though the other could use Haki, he wasn’t skilled enough to cover the whole body and caught one’s weakness was his speciality.
“What the- Why am I still moving?” He asked out loud, bewildered. He had never encountered such a power in his life.
“You should already know that I’m a Devil Fruit user. Now I don’t have time to play with a brute like you, it’s a shame but I must go.”
Luffy suddenly felt an anger rise up.
“How dare you?!” In spite of his missing arms and legs, he stretched his neck and head-butted Law in the chin, causing his ROOM to drop. Law coughed out few drops of blood, eyes wide. What the hell-
“Fight me! Don’t you dare walk away from me like that!”
‘This guy is insane.’ The Hearts captain decided. “Admit you lost already, you clearly cannot pick yourself up.”
“But I did land a blow on you.” The marine bited back. Law sighed, putting Kikoku on his shoulder, ROOM already formed on his hand again.
“Yeah but you still messed up. And in a fair fight I doubt you would overwhelm me, also right now I’m not as concerned about you as the Admiral on my ass.”
The other huffed, not believed what he said at all.
“Yeah right, just put me back together and you’ll see who’s stronger.”
“I just said-“
“Trafalgar!” Kid’s exclaim brought the surgeon back to the current state around them. Killer appeared in time which gave Kid an opportunity to push the duo enough for him to grab Law. “We need to go, now! Your polar bear said that Kizaru was catching up to us!”
“Right.” As he was about to turn away the teen yelled at him again.
“You! Come back here, put me back and fight properly!”
Seeing the marine bouncing towards him with his limbs all over the place with fuming cheeks, Law couldn’t help but let out a snort. The satisfaction strangely drained today’s frustration away and he found the other’s attempt to be weirdly… cute.
“I’m not an idiot like you” While the young was spluttering ‘who is an idiot you damn pirate-‘
“The name is Trafalgar Law. If fate allows it, we’ll meet again.” He didn’t know what made him reply to the marine, but he couldn’t care less at the moment.
The teen stilled for a moment, then broke out in giggles.
“… Monkey D. Luffy, I’m going to be a Fleet Admiral!”
‘A fellow D. … Very interesting.’
“Ambitious.” He smirked. “ROOM! SHAMBLES!”
The pirate group soon disappeared from the battleground, leaving Sanji and Zoro fell flat on their ass attacking air. The blond rushed over to Luffy whose limbs were still scattered on the ground:
“Luffy! Sorry we couldn’t get them! And how are you still alive like this?!”
“Trafalgar’s power obviously. This is what happened when you didn’t check up all information on these pirates before engaging in a fight!” Zoro put his three swords back in scabbards. The other was rolling around like a kid, finding his body parts to be funny rather than scared - much to both of his friends’ dismay.
“But not knowing is way more exciting! And I like this Tra- Trafal- Tora- Torao!”
“Okay whatever, we need to group up with Admiral and other fleets. There are other rookies on this island beside him and Eustass.” While Sanji was putting all Luffy’s parts together, Zoro rang up the Den Den Mushi to get the positions of the remaining pirates.
Luffy was still in a trance; he felt humiliated, angry but excited and hopeful all at the same time. The young marine captain wished to see that strange pirate again. And he would surely capture him next time.
