Chapter 1: A Return
Montpeiler, Vermont, Friday, November 16th, 2029
Vision tilts his head and his brows furrow as he watches Tommy pick up the greasiest slice of cheese pizza he has quite possibly ever seen. A long string of melted cheese stretches off the end, and Tommy’s recently-turned white tendrils of hair fall into his eyes as he eagerly gobbles half the slice whole. He really does need a haircut, Vision thinks, even as he purses his lips, only mildly disgusted, as this is by far one of the lesser disgusting things he’s encountered the boys doing since they’ve reached their teenage years. He’d help wash one too many stiff socks to know that.
William, on the other hand, is far more careful, resorting to a knife and fork, cutting up the slice in neat little bites. Thomas stares at him incredulously, just as Wanda comes to sit at the round dining table in the large open-concept kitchen with a glass of wine, placing a kiss to Vision’s white temple as she does so.
“Billy, seriously, you’re an embarrassment to the human race. The whole point of pizza is to forget the fucking knife and fork” Tommy scoffs, watching his twin eat his food carefully with precision. Unlike Tommy, Billy’s hair is styled and he routinely sets up haircuts for himself. His clothes are ironed, too, a point Vision both adores and finds fascinating about the other teenage boy.
“Language, Tommy. And considering you’re scarfing down your fourth piece like an rabid animal, I think Billy is absolutely fine,” Wanda says, throwing a wink to Vision, who smirks at her.
Thomas is not put off by his mother’s scolding, however, finishing the slice in mere seconds and guzzling a glass of Coca-Cola. The twins are headed to the Altman’s cabin for an extended ski trip this weekend, William hoping to spend most of his time with Teddy and Tommy taking his new Vision-is-yet-allowed-to-call-her-girlfriend, and Vision can easily tell they both are anxious to leave, although William in his quiet, mild-mannered way and Tommy in, well, his.
Wanda is anxious too; her vital signs more than indicate that. Hence, the wine, Vision assumes. But, of course, her nerves are for an entirely different purpose. At the thought, Vision’s eyes glance at the empty chair at the round dinner table, a chair that has stood empty for the past fifteen days. Inwardly, Vision checks the time. 5:48pm. They had expected Vizh home at around 5pm from a mission that had lasted over two weeks, and yet, so far, there was no word.
It was unlike his other way partner to not let them know if he was to be detained, but Vision also understood that, on missions, things often changed unexpectedly and often with little ability to let loved ones know of the altered plans. If Vision was being entirely honest with himself, he was slightly on edge as well. It had felt like the longest two weeks in Vision’s life, which was saying something, considering he was factoring in both before his death when he was galavanting around Europe with Wanda while she was on the run and after his rebirth, too.
Wanda catches him in the act of staring at the empty chair, giving him a sideward glance, as she audibly sighs.
“He was supposed to be back by five ,” she says, biting her lip in worry.
“What’s that, Mom?” William asks from the kitchen, where he is scraping off his plate and putting it in the dishwasher. Tommy, meanwhile, is still gnawing on the crust of his fourth piece of pizza, staring at them all.
“Your mother is worried about your father- ow,” Vision says, feeling the sharp side of her elbow jab in the ribs as she follows it up with a death glare.
“Mom, quit freaking out. Dad can handle being on an Avengers mission without you and Vision there babysitting him. Just because you two are veterans and Dad isn’t doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s been on the team for like three years now,” Tommy says, throwing down the last bit of crust and standing.
“Thomas, plate,” Vision reminds him, and Tommy sighs, stalking back over and picking up the plate and walking it into the kitchen.
“What time is it now, then?” William asks, walking back into the living room, his phone in hand. Wanda rolls her eyes at the teenager who is plainly holding a device that tells him said time, but Vision knows the twins are so used to asking either synthezoid that it comes second nature to them. And, if Vision is being honest with himself, it is a habit he doesn’t quite want them to give up, as Vision likes to feel needed.
“5:54pm,” he says, and then William stares up from his phone, eyes wide.
“Oh, shit,” William says. “Damn. They’ll be here any second,” the teenager says, quickly walking toward the hallway mirror and checking his carefully coiffed hair.
Wanda’s grin widens as she glances to Vision, and he returns it. Teddy and Billy’s relationship is not new, not any longer, but it seems they are not yet past the point where Teddy could apparently see William looking anything less than perfectly groomed. Meanwhile, Tommy yawns, sitting back down in the chair and leaning backward in it.
“Chill, bro. We’ve got like…three minutes,” he mutters, and Vision hears William grumble something about “easy for you to say.”
Vision frowns slightly, shifting in his seat. He’s in a basic navy blue sweater and dark slacks, appropriate for the snowy weather outside. Wanda likes blue best on him, saying that it accents his features, down to the Palladium core on where the Mind Stone once resides. He’s as white and pale as the day he emerged from the SWORD basecamp, with orders to end Wanda’s life, although years of nurturing by the entire family had seen the eventual return of his emotional processing and his personality from before his death, before Thanos. Although, much like his appearance, there are many things that remain…forever altered. These are issues, however, he has come to terms with, more or less.
Suddenly, there’s a car honking from the driveway, and Vision quietly phases to stand as the boys grab their duffles from the foyer.
“William, Thomas, a word,” he says, and both the teenagers stop in their tracks, turning to him. Vision is, at this point, another father, certainly the authoritarian of the household. This had primarily arisen because he had been stoic and silent in the beginning, still unsure of his new role as a part of the family and because of his still crippled emotional association with most things. But in the years since he has called the Vermont chalet home, and has long since felt the return of emotion, he finds the role still somehow suits him, and anything that takes the stress off of his partners’ duties is something he’d gladly see to. He loves the boys like they are his own sons, their presence in his life paramount to helping him find himself again, and he, in turn, is loved back, treated like a third parent, a missing piece to the puzzle that now seems whole.
“William, I know that Teddy will be in close proximity for the entirety of the weekend,” Vision begins, and Tommy snorts. Vision needs only to just look in his direction, and then Tommy gulps, throwing him an apologetic smile.
“But please be mindful of the Altmans. It is their skiing cabin after all, and whatever rules they set for intimate excursions , you and Teddy should follow,” Vision says through a loving nod of his head.
“Of course, Vision,” William says dutifully.
“And you,” he says, glancing over to Thomas, who practically winces. “I know your relationship with Miss Thompson is new, but the same goes for you. And obviously, you would do well to keep in mind all that we’ve taught you about consent, communication, and the like,” he says through a small smile, and Tommy rolls his eyes although he is sure to offer Vision a respectful nod.
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” Tommy says. Both boys turn to leave, before Vision stops them once more.
“Hey…” he drops off, and as they turn, Vision simply smiles at them. William’s grin widens as he offers him a hug, before Tommy sighs dramatically and he mimics his brother. Vision tousles the boys’ hair as Tommy is desperately trying to pry himself from the synthezoid just as Wanda swoops in and kisses both of their heads, seeing them off. They both watch as the boys tramp out into the softly falling snow, opening the door to the SUV, and Wanda and Vision give the Altmans a wave from the doorway. And then Wanda is sighing, as she leans into her partner.
“I can’t believe he missed them,” she says wistfully, and Vision exhales, kissing her hair as he moves to shut the door behind them.
“It will be alright, darling. I’m sure whatever is detaining him, it is not life-threatening,” Vision says through a firm nod of her head, and Wanda sighs, staring up at him.
“I’m not sure that makes me feel any better,” Wanda says, and Vision chuckles a little, kissing her cheek before they both return to the dining room.
“You’re not…worried about him, then?” Wanda asks after a moment or two, moving to pick up the mostly-empty glasses as Vision turns on the faucet, Wanda handing him the dirty dishes.
“Worried? No. That would be irrational,” he says, rolling up his sleeves as she concurrently rolls her eyes at him, in a perfect impression of Tommy.
“Liar,” she says playfully, nudging him with her elbow as he fills the dishwasher and shuts it.
“What I mean is that…yes. I am thinking of him, but I am trying not to resort to… irrational forms of fear. And Thomas is right. Vizh has proven himself over and over again as an asset to the Avengers, just as capable as you or I. So I assume and hope that nothing negative has detained him. I love the man, the same as you,” he murmurs, moving to tuck a tendril of auburn hair behind her ear while they both still stand in the kitchen. She smiles at him, her worry forgotten for a moment, before she’s clutching her phone to her chest and biting her nail.
“Still…I think I’m going to call him,” she says, glancing down at her phone.
“Do not call him,” Vision says.
“I’m gonna call him,” she mutters,
“Wanda,” he says more firmly, grabbing her wrist. It’s then she looks up at him intently, a spark of something…in her eye. It’s indicative of the tension they both feel now, with one of them away. It had been more than three years since their relationship had become polyamorous. Months after the incident in West View, months after Wanda had found a way to make Vizh’s and the boys’ existence permanent, when Vision had found them in Vermont, he was a broken machine more than a man. It had taken a year of intense therapy and hours-long procedures, with the help of powerful, amazing women like Dr. Helen Cho and the Wakanda princess Shuri, to help undo some of the damage S.W.O.R.D. had wrought on him. He had resided in the basement then, reluctant to engage in any sort of meaningful way with a family he excluded himself from while mourning the loss of his lover to another, superior version of himself.
But as the first year bled into the second, Vizh had approached Vision, telling him he wished for Vision and Wanda to have the possibility of being intimate, if that was something they both wanted. For a year or so, it had continued on like that, the two men simply trading off being with Wanda, until things had…blurred, when they all three had found themselves in bed together, and even then, even after all the books on ethical polyamory, the monthly check-ins, the joint therapy, it had mainly been about Wanda’s pleasure.
Until, well, it wasn’t. Until it was about the collective, and Vision slowly had grown to love and adore the version of himself Wanda had created as much as Wanda herself. He was an extension of Wanda, a replica of Vision, but his own person too, different from the original synthezoid in many ways, and completely alike in others. And that, that, had been when Vision had, despite its taboo nature to the outside world, found happiness once more. He supposed it made him pansexual, as well as polyamorous, although Vision wasn’t ever so pressed to place labels on the love they shared, because he couldn’t imagine being intimate with anyone else. It was simply… them. And they were happy. When Thomas and William both had turned 15, the three adults had sat both boys down and told them, much like when, five months earlier, William had come out as gay to them all, but the twins had already known or at least guessed for years, and accepted them with open, loving arms. Tears were shed, laughter was shared, and the family pressed on, more solidified than ever before.
But now, to have Vizh gone, after Vision was used to them all living under one roof, sharing the same bed, it felt, well, strange . Wrong. Of course, he made love to Wanda passionately most nights in Vizh’s absence—a long standing agreement between the three of them that if one of them was off on a mission the other could continue showing the other love as they deemed important and necessary— but to have Vizh gone for so long had made things feel, well…incomplete.
Finally Vision comes back to himself, frowning slightly.
“Would it reassure you if I sent him a message over the server?” Vision asks, finally giving in, and Wanda is nodding her head with enthusiasm. Vision sighs, closing his eyes so he can better concentrate.
It’s a quick message in computer code. It was their own way of speaking, something between Vizh and Vision, allowing them more private methods of communicating just like Wanda could carry on a conversation with either of them in her head.
What time can we expect you? Wanda is…somewhat antsy.
It takes a few seconds for a reply to come along the line, which in their own way is quite a bit of time, meaning that he most certainly is held up.
My deepest apologies. Captain Wilson has me assisting with search and rescue. There have been casualties. Late this evening. I’d hate for her to wait up. Take care of her for me. Love, V
“Well?” Wanda says as Vision opens his eyes, a slight smile on his face, to see Wanda tapping her foot with nervous energy.
“There have been casualties. He is assisting with search and rescue. He won’t be home until late this evening,” Vision says through a nod. Wanda frowns
“Well, I’m glad he’s alright. But he’s going to need to talk about it. Casualties…are never easy things,” she murmurs, biting her lip in thought.
“No they are not,” he says gently back, moving to place a hand to Wanda’s face. She leans into it, sighing, before moving back into the dining room to pick up the mostly empty-pizza boxes.
“This is ridiculous. Three perfectly capable adults here and only Vizh can cook,” she says through a bitter laugh, moving to stuff the boxes in the recycling.
“I would have attempted to pitch in, but during my last foray into cooking he banned me from said kitchen,” Vision says through a smirk, helping her with the rest of the clean up, wiping down the table as he goes. Wanda smiles as she turns back to him, her hands on her hips.
“I don’t know how he does it. You nearly burned the house down, and he only said something like, ‘Yes, yes, that’s quite alright dear, but perhaps stick to your other talents… like thoroughly satiating me and my wife, hmm?’” Wanda says in a truly terrible impersonation of their accents. Vision snorts through his nose, and arches an eyebrow at her as she walks into the kitchen to wash her hands.
“He said no such thing,” he murmurs, walking closer to her from where she stands at the sink.
“He was thinking it,” she smirks, and Vision only growls lowly in his chest.
“Mmmmm,” he murmurs, shifting her hair slightly so he has better access to her neck, softly kissing her pulse, and then kissing it harder. Wanda moans slightly as he bites down gently, as she takes a shuddering breath in.
“We should wait,” she breathes. He’s already hard and easily presses her erection toward her ass, moving a hand up underneath her shirt along her waist.
“We should not,” he murmurs to her. “He told me to take care of you.”
At that, Wanda spins on her heel, arching a brow in his direction.
“Did he now?” She asks, a playful smile on her features, as his free hand cups her cheek once more and she breathes out, closing her eyes.
“When will touching you ever not feel like the first time?” She breathes, as he gently leans down to take her mouth in his, sliding his tongue along her own, gently tugging on her bottom lip. It’s several long moments before he breaks the kiss, regarding her seriously.
“Death does that to people, I would assume,” he breathes out, and she exhales in mild frustration.
“Quit being morose,” she breathes, and something smolders in his eyes as he regards her.
“I do not believe I permitted you to give me orders,” he softly growls, then smirks as her heart rate spikes, and he works his way to unbutton her jeans, sliding a pale hand past her underwear, dipping two fingers into her warmth. She’s hot and wet, so ready.
And then, he captures her mouth again, this time kissing her more aggressively, as he works her with deft fingers. She moans into his mouth, easily submitting to him, and something in him tightens.
Because this, this, was another thing that had changed. Another difference. After everything he had been through, all the pain and heartache and loss of optimism over humanity, something had hardened within him. Perhaps it was because he had been helpless for so long, or simply because it was the way they worked best together, but Vision often dominated during sex, no matter who he was with. Wanda had a dominant side to her, as well, one she exacted with Vizh at times, but Vision very rarely offered himself up to either of them submissively.
And, right now, he wants to fuck her on this very kitchen counter. And he’ll be damned if anyone is going to stop him. His member is hard beneath his clothing, and now he easily phases away the visage of a sweater and slacks, quickly phasing Wanda’s jeans off her. She gasps sharply, hands scrambling for purchase on his torso, as he easily hoists her up on the kitchen counter and enters her with one easy push. She gasps, and he growls slightly, as he brings his lips close to her ear.
“You’re going to make me come at least twice before you find your release,” he orders, and she nods desperately, as he pulls out and shoves inside her once more, all the way to the hilt. He’s big, he knows he is, but Wanda likes it rough and hard, if her nails digging into his back are any indication. Again he shoves himself inside her, fucking the woman who isn’t is wife, but who might as well be. She moans, and he feels through their muted link her quickly approaching climax. He frowns, sharply biting down on her pulse, reminding her to stave off. She cries out, taking advantage of a house without the boys’ presence as he pumps himself inside of her, her ass bouncing on the counter as he comes quickly, filling her with his seed (knowing of course, he’s sterile and cannot impregnate her). He slows his pace only for a moment before he’s hard again, and falls into fucking her senseless once more. Wanda moans, tears in her eyes.
“Vision,” she begs, and he frowns, quickly sliding her off the counter and turning her around roughly to take her from behind. She cries out as he sheathes himself inside her again, and his fingers find her clit, rubbing it just light enough she won’t come from it but just hard enough that it’s torture. He smiles, taking pleasure in how she writhes, knowing it’s taking everything in her to keep from coming.
“Good girl,” he breathes into her ear as she shudders.
“I can’t. I can’t, baby,” she sobs, and his grip on her waist tightens.
“You can. Take what I give you and be grateful,” he growls, and speeds up his pace, knowing he’s close again. She’s begging now, a slew of Sokovian curses flooding from her mouth, before he feels the cresting wave of pleasure and he gives her what she needs, now roughly thumbing her clit.
“Now,” he says, and she immediately comes, milking his cock in the most mind-numbing of ways, and they’re both moaning as they come undone, him spilling into her once more, Wanda practically gushing around him. For a moment, he stays inside her, both of them riding the aftershocks of their pleasure, as he gently soothes the bite on her neck with a swipe of his tongue and the massage of his lips.
“ God, Vision…” she says, panting, as he finally slides out and she turns back around, staring at him, eyes wide. He smiles, easily lifting her up in his arms, intent on leading them to bed.
—-
Vizh is, in one word, exhausted. The aftermath of the event is something he has toiled with over and over in his mind, as the QuinJet lands quietly in a field outside of their two-acre plot. He says his farewells to Sam and Sergeant Barnes, and then is slowly hovering, glancing at the blankets of freshly fallen snow in the dark.
Almost two weeks of staking out the building in Phoenix, waiting for the terrorist to make a move, only to almost be too late. They had ended up targeting several Mosques in the area, and while Vision had seen most of the people to safety, one wrong miscalculation, or inability to predict the terrorists’ methods, had led to a collapsed roof, killing four. He had stayed after to assist Sam in any way possible, and now, as his eyes glance at the cozy house on the hill he calls home, his heart aches. It did not not help matters that he hadn’t been alone, apart from both of them in well…since before the Hex was taken down on that fateful Halloween night, long before Wanda had made him and the boys permanent, long before Vision had sought them out, seeking help, long before they were a family.
He frowns slightly, still hovering so as not to make noise as he phases inside the house. Vision will, of course, be awake, neither man slept, but right now Vizh wishes he could. It would take weeks to process the data, to somehow make heads or tails of what had happened, where he had gone wrong. He frowns slightly, glancing around the quiet, darkened kitchen and living room. Everything is immaculate, and it is no surprise. Such is Vision’s way.
It still amazes him, to no end, the ways in which the two synthezoids are both remarkably different and alike to one another. Of course, they share many of the same hobbies and indulge in the same pastimes. A love of literature being one, a habit of being incredibly competitive in Chess being another. Lately, it was also a swell of home improvement projects, both Vision and Vizh working to see if they could get a decent compost system up and running. Vizh had felt mildly guilty, leaving in the middle of the project, although he had little choice in the matter being called out onto a mission. Idly, as Vizh hovers through the house, he wonders how William’s calculus test went, if Thomas is actually calling Cadence his girlfriend yet. He had, of course, missed seeing them off for the long weekend at the Altmans, but it is only a weekend, and he is certain he’ll be calling them tomorrow, whether they want him to or not.
It’s with this thought that he phases quietly upstairs to the master bedroom, gently passing through the door. He tiredly smiles as soon as he lays eyes on them. Wanda’s hair is everywhere, and she’s asleep in the middle of the king-sized bed, her favorite spot. She’s asleep on Vison’s chest, while the synthezoid has one arm around her and a book propped open with another. Vision’s eyes glance over the cover. For Whom the Bell Tolls. Hemingway. So he’d finished Proust then, for the second time over. It’s then as Vizh lifts his gaze upward does he find his counterpart regarding him intently, his eyes a wild and eclectic blue. Vision tries to comfort him with a smile, before tiredly phasing out of his uniform and into simple black briefs, pulling back the covers on the right side of the bed and groaning slightly as he lays down.
“Are you alright?” Vision murmurs, and Vizh exhales through his nose.
“Physically, yes,” he mutters, staring up at the ceiling.
Vision’s white chest is bare, the symmetrical patterns slightly different than his own. But there’s a tenseness in his musculature, and Vision can easily detect concern in his partner’s features.
“Tell me,” he murmurs, setting down the book softly on the bedside table, changing posture very carefully so as to not wake Wanda. Vizh turns to his side then, frowning slightly as he does so.
“The casualties were…unexpected. The roof of one of the Mosques collapsed. I am not certain if it was a miscalculation on my part or not, but…” Vision drops off. The synthezoid frowns slightly, looking off into the distance for a long moment, most likely in the internet accessing the debrief, before his eyes snap back to Vizh.
“Wilson’s report says it was due to an unforeseen explosive device that was launched from a neighboring building, not because of your predetermined calculation of the Mosque’s structural integrity,” Vision says softly, still frowning slightly as he stares at him.
“Yes, but-“ Vizh begins.
“Vision,” the synthezoid reprimands. Vision, like Wanda, rarely uses his full name, as Vizh had adopted the nickname early on after Vision had found them so they both weren’t looking up at the same time when Wanda addressed either of them. Vizh frowns, glancing down at his sleeping wife, gently moving to brush a tendril of hair off her forehead.
“I would be, how does Wanda put it, a ‘broken record’ to say that I think, when Wanda summoned me into the world, she intended to keep me far away from the fighting,” he says gently, before looking up to the other synthezoid once more.
“You are not incorrect,” Vision says through an exhale, before smirking at him. “You do sound like a broken record, darling,” he smirks, and Vizh snorts, before Vision continues on.
“And yes she had no intention of you fighting during West View’s inception, but you have since necessitated the ability to act to protect humanity regardless, especially considering your powers and your reverence for life,” Vision says, quietly walking Vizh through the logic. Vizh can, and has, made similar logical conclusions, but for some reason hearing the words spoken out loud, coming from someplace other than his own mind, helps put Vizh at ease. Vision knows this; it’s a loving gesture, one that he’d offer a thousand times over.
Vizh sighs through a sad smile, before glancing to the closed bedroom door.
“How were the boys when they left?” He asks..
“How do you think? William is getting a weekend with Teddy. He was ecstatic,” Vision says through a small smile, obviously lost in the memory, as Vizh’s heart warms at the love clearly written on the synthezoid’s features, a love Vision sometimes has a hard time seeing inside himself, even though it is plainly there.
“And Thomas?” Vizh asks. Vision’s smile grows, glancing over to the synthezoid.
“Nervous. Since…” he begins, and Vizh easily finishes the sentence for him.
“Ah. Since Miss Thompson was coming along, yes?” Vizh adds, and Vision chuckles softly through a handsome grin.
“Quite,” he says, before his smile falls slightly, eyes capturing Vizh’s own. Immediately, Vision’s heart beats quicker in his chest, as he takes in the sight of his counterpart. This was a man he had once feared bringing into their home. A man he was envious of, for he had been the man who had fallen in love with Wanda long before Vizh had come into existence. When Vizh had approached Vision about becoming intimate with Wanda, it was because Vizh saw the unhappiness in a man who had lost everything and a woman who did not wish to choose, who loved them both equally.
When Wanda had started becoming intimate with them both, the tension had eased slightly, although the jealousy sometimes was hard to bear. It was an issue they had discussed, and small steps were taken to help them understand just how Wanda managed to love them both, sometimes watching one another be intimate with her, and sometimes, eventually, taking part. It was around then Vizh had realized that it wasn’t just Wanda any more. It was them, their story. And he wanted in, he wanted to woven into the fabric of who they were. And as Vision had shared the couple’s bed, it was then that Vizh realized, it wasn’t only them, but it was him, too. The man who had been stripped down and rebuilt by cruelty, and who had still managed to crawl his way out of the muck and grime to reclaim his own humanity again, and had even re-sworn to protect those who had done monstrous, unspeakable things to him.
Love didn’t begin to cover it. It was respect and reverence and temptation and longing and passion and the profound knowledge he would lay down his life for either of them, just as he would his own sons. Sons Vision also loved and treated like his own.
“Come here,” Vizh says softly, and Vision smirks at being told what to do, but complies with Vizh’s faux-order, leaning in to gently press his lips to Vizh’s own. Vizh deepens the kiss, reveling in the feeling of his partner’s lips, so different from his own and from Wanda’s. Something deep in Vision’s chest rumbles, and Vizh exhales into the kiss as it breaks.
“ God,” he finally breathes, staring at the synthezoid. “That was far too long.”
“Yes, it was,” he murmurs, eyes never leaving him, just as Wanda stirs between them. Vizh smiles, staring down at his sleepy wife, who yawns slightly, turning towards her husband.
“Vizh? You home?” She murmurs and he smiles at her, moving to gently cradle the side of her face.
“Hello darling,” he says and her lips turn upward as he leans down to gently kiss her, and she smiles through the kiss, before Vizh pulls away. And then she frowns slightly, looking back and forth between her two partners.
“You two have got to talk somewhere else…I swear to god, I never get any sleep,” she grumbles, and Vizh chuckles quietly as Vision’s lips purse into a would-be frown.
“Would you not have us in your bed then, my love?” Vision teases her as he runs a hand up her body, and she only rolls her eyes at him.
“I thought you could use your binary-whatever to talk and still easily be in my bed,” she mutters and Vision playfully smirks.
“I feel rather insulted, darling. We’d never resort to something as banal as binary to speak to one another,” he says, casting a side glance at Vizh, who warms at the coy, suggestive glance.
“Perhaps the intent was to wake you up,” Vizh murmurs, swiping a thumb along one cheek. She grumbles again, but is eyeing Vizh intently.
“Kiss me again. I missed you,” she says, and he smiles at her, leaning in to take her mouth more deeply this time, his tongue sliding against her own as Wanda sighs into the kiss. Vizh can feel Vision’s eyes on them both, and something tight coils inside him. As the kiss ends, Vizh watches as Vision idly traces a path up and down Wanda’s side from where she has turned into the other synthezoid.
“You know,” Wanda says, a playful spark in her eye, as she lies on her back once more to regard her other lover. “Vision was worried sick. He wouldn’t shut up about it. Right, babe?” she says through a silly grin, and Vizh smirks, as his eyes lift up to his counterpart.
“That so?” Vizh teases, and he watches, delighted, as a bluish tint flows to Vision's cheeks in a rare blush.
“You may be heartbroken to hear, darling, that I…managed to maintain my composure. She speaks of herself. Although…we both missed you, immeasurably,” he murmurs, threading a hand through Vizh’s own, and Vizh’s brow arches upward as he kisses Vision’s pale hand softly while Wanda smiles knowingly at them both.
At her smirk, Vizh glances down at her, smiling devilishly, before he slides his hand out of Vision’s and it finds its place between her legs as he moves to kiss her neck, tracing over the bruises, easily phasing out of his briefs as he does so.
Wanda lets out an adorable squeak, before she breathlessly adds, “Vizh!”
Vizh’s chest rumbles in laughter, as he moves downward, trailing a line of kisses between her breasts.
“Can you blame me for wanting to make up for lost time?” He breathes against her skin, before sucking firmly on nipple, to which she moans.
“He makes a fair point. I have had far too much time with you alone, dear. I cannot say I blame the man,” Vision rumbles, moving to lay down more alongside them.
“Thank you for agreeing with me,” Vizh says after he lets his lips off of Wanda’s nipple with a small pop.
“Of course,” he says, electric blue eyes dancing.
“I hate it when you both gang up on me,” Wanda grumbles, and Vizh turns to her, an odd smile on his lips.
“You love it,” Vizh teases, as his fingers continue to toy at her entrance, trailing through her folds.
“Darling,” he murmurs into her ear. “You’re so wet.”
Wanda smiles mischievously at him, before glancing towards Vision who is watching them both intently.
“I was… sated earlier,” she breathes.
“Mmm,” Vizh hums, as he moves lower, kissing a trail down her abdomen, before he finds his place between her legs, giving her center a long lick upward that has Wanda gasping.
He pauses, glancing upward to watch Wanda’s face, before he hears Vision’s voice, filled with lust, urge him onward.
“Don’t stop,” he breathes, and Vizh nods knowingly, easily sliding two fingers into her as his tongue dances circles around her clit. He can feel, up above, Vision is tending to Wanda’s breasts, and it’s a few steady strokes and a fair bit of pressure at the bundles of nerves of her center before she’s easily coming undone, gasping for breath as she exhales into Vision’s mouth. Gently, Vizh laps at the moisture, tasting and reveling in the sweetness, before crawling back up to the pair of them, just as Wanda arches a mischievous brow at him, flipping Vizh over on his back.
“Ever the gentleman, pleasuring me when you were the absent one,” Wanda coos, and Vision rumbles in agreement as Vizh takes a haggard breath in as Wanda kisses her way down his body, making sure to run her tongue along the seams where vibranium meets red, synthetic skin.
“God,” Vizh breathes, just as she reaches his achingly hard cock, peppering it with soft kisses before taking the tip in between her lips. He lets out a shuddering breath but is quickly silenced as Vision leans downward to capture his mouth once more, and as Wanda’s lips slide around his member, he moans into Vision’s mouth. The synthezoid quickly bites his bottom lip in retaliation, as Vizh’s hands still travel upward around his neck to hold the man closer to him. When Vision finally breaks the kiss, Vizh breathes harshly against him.
“I’ve missed you. I’ve missed this,” he murmurs, and Vision smiles at him before swiping a white thumb over his red lips, just as Wanda sucks, and Vizh audibly moans.
“Darling,” Vizh hisses, as Vision has already phased through the bed, standing behind her, caressing her ass. Wanda moans around Vizh as Vision swiftly seats himself inside her, and Vizh nearly comes right then and there at the sight of it.
It’s frantic, their bodies connected as Vision is agonizingly slow at first, and Wanda matches his movements, before he speeds up slightly and as Vizh hits the back of her throat he can’t help but begin thrusting, fucking her mouth. Wanda is beautiful like this, full of both of them, and Vizh knows it’s her favorite place to be. And then, it’s as if Vision can read Vizh’s mind, concurring through a hoarse and raspy voice.
“God, look at you, Wanda. So full of both of us, his cock shoved down your throat while I fuck you seneseless,” Vision mutters, and Vizh groans at the synthezoid’s words.
Vision quite suddenly lands a hard slap on her ass, Wanda’s moaning making a humming vibration around Vizh’s cock, and Vizh has a fistful of her hair, and it’s a few more upward thrusts and he is spilling himself inside of her mouth, and she drinks him down greedily. Vision isn’t finished yet, but Wanda comes off Vizh, and he watches them, sprawled back on the bed, propping himself up on his elbows. Vision fucks her mercilessly, eyes dark and wanting, before he shudders, hands clutching her hips as he comes inside her. Wanda is panting now, as he gently pulls her up to be flush with his body, murmuring into her ear as he cups her face lovingly
“Are you alright, my love?”
He’s checking in. Vision, especially, is far more dominant, and he often sees to it he doesn’t push either of them too hard or too fast. Vizh knows deep down the other synthezoid fears he sometimes loses himself in their lovemaking, but Vizh also knows that Vision always resurfaces, and always loves first and physically indulges second.
“Yes, green,” she whispers, and Vision nods knowingly. Vizh is already hard again, cock aching as Wanda’s eyes find Vizh’s own and she smiles as she finally catches her breath, moving to hover over him.
“What do you want?” She coos into his auditory receptor, and Vizh moans something incomprehensible. She smirks at him, hand ghosting over his cock.
“Speak up, baby,” she murmurs, and Vizh glances at Vision, who is standing there still, hard again, staring at him darkly.
“I want you to fuck me, and I want him to watch,” he murmurs to both of them, as Wanda offers him a wicked smirk.
“Fair enough,” she says, and with a wave of her hand, the strap-on appears, a dark red dildo already fastened to it. Vizh’s eyes widen as Vision easily tosses Wanda the lube as he mounts the bed, on his knees. They both watch as Wanda drizzles some of it onto her hands. Vizh lies back, fully prone, as Wanda works the lube onto the dildo, before smirking, trailing her fingers along his ass, before dipping two inside of him. Vizh lets out a strained whimper as Wanda pushes his legs back more, demanding better access. Vision watches darkly, and even though pre-come drips down his glistening cock, he does not touch himself. It doesn’t matter. Knowing his counterpart is watching is half the reason Vizh is as aroused as he is. Of course, it had taken years to get to the point where any of them was comfortable with an us, but now that they are, oh now that they are….
You love this, don’t you? Love it when I watch her fuck you, Vision communicates across their channel, the computer code landing right in Vizh’s cerebral cortex, and he shudders as his eyes flutter shut.
Two weeks had been far, far too long.
And then, it’s another finger, her hand pumping in and out of him, and the stretch is delicious and tight and good.
“I think he’s more than ready,” Vision demands raspily, and Wanda throws a devilish glance at him, before readying herself at Vizh’s entrance.
And then, Vizh feels the tip of the dildo at his entrance, Wanda offering him a tilt of her head, her own version of checking in. He nods desperately, not wanting to wait, not wanting to ease into this, and Wanda must pluck the thought from his mind, because she’s sliding in now all at once.
The sounds Vizh is making are nearly animalistic. Breathy whines, mewls, and moans as Wanda fully positions herself inside him. She slides back out, and then back in again, and Vision’s eyes darken as Wanda begins to fuck him in earnest while she stares at him with all the love and adoration in the world. Vision is now idly stroking his own member, but when Vizh lets out a more audible groan, Vision growls, quickly phasing through the bed again and taking up a position behind Wanda. There’s a pause, and he knows he’s asking for her permission to enter her, and she nods slightly, before he’s easily sliding back into her wet and hot and dripping cunt. The first time Vision moves with them, the feel of the extra strength behind the push nearly does Vizh in.
“God. Darling,” Vizh mutters, although he isn’t sure at this moment which one he’s talking to. And then Vision establishes a merciless pace, and they move as one, her strength absorbing the shock and rolling her hips to offer Vizh the reverberations. Vizh’s hands touch Wanda in earnest, traveling aside and along Vision’s own as they both toy with her breasts, while Vision’s lips worry the pulse in her neck. At one point, Vizh’s hands travel towards his ignored member, and Wanda only smiles, opening her eyes and blocking his hand.
“Let me, love,” she whispers, and then she is working him quickly, as he makes a strangled sound at the added touch. Vision growls, moving a hand off of Wanda’s hip leaning forward more, to clasp his hand in the other synthezoids.
Check in, he communicates to Vizh and Vizh alone.
Green, he says back. Keep going, he urges, even as he audibly lets out a breathy whine.
“Tell me,” Vision snarls. “Tell me what it feels like.”
“F-full,” Vizh hisses, and Wanda moans at their words.
“You look so good underneath me, baby. Taking me to the hilt, ” she murmurs before a particularly rough thrust. Wanda locks eyes with Vizh and her hand clasps around theirs, as she easily comes undone, and Vizh groans, feeling the aftershocks of her orgasm in his mind. Vision quickly speeds up his pace, forcing them all closer to the edge. It doesn’t take long, the stretch of the dildo and the pressure from Vision’s thrusts and his wife’s grip on his cock easily undoing him, and he’s spilling onto his own stomach just as Vision shudders and snaps his hips into Wanda, pouring himself inside Vizh’s wife once more.
They easily collapse onto the bed, Wanda conjuring the strap-on out of existence once more, as she lays her head on Vizh’s chest, still breathing heavily. Vision gently lies down on the other side of her, gently traces along the seams of Vizh’s red, synthetic skin and vibranium on his arm as easily as he runs his fingers over Wanda’s own. They are an entanglement of limbs as Vizh wipes a strand of hair from Wanda’s brow, and Vision threads his fingers of his free hand through Wanda’s.
“God,” Wanda murmurs, and Vizh lets out a breathless laugh.
“My sentiments exactly,” he responds. Vision is silent, but he nuzzles them both with his nose, as Wanda already begins to drift, and Vizh finds himself being lulled into a desperately needed slumber.
—
When Vision pulls himself out of the sleep Wanda had vicariously pulled both synthezoids into, his eyes open quietly. His partners are still both asleep, entangled in each other. Vision smiles softly, moving over them to place his lips on Vizh’s forehead, next to the Mind Stone, and then on Wanda’s temple. Then he’s quietly phasing out of bed, gently opting for a pair of navy sweatpants, remaining shirtless. He dutifully stretches his body, a body that he once loathed but has come to respect again, as he quietly walks to the window, glancing out at the fresh blanket of snow. He clenches his jaw in contemplation. Time has passed so quickly in these last few years. The boys were already juniors in high school, and soon would be on their way to college. He still recalls those early days, when he would take them both sledding, the boys no older than ten or eleven. Now, for the most part, they’re much more interested in boyfriends and girlfriends and training for Young Avengers missions, but what he wouldn’t give for another afternoon at the top of the far slope, pushing them down the icy banks. Vision exhales silently through his nose, glancing back once more at the lovers in his bed, deciding to let them sleep as he sinks through the floor and into the kitchen.
He goes about his tasks deftly with a routine precision, setting the kettle to boil water, snagging an orange from the fruit bowl on the counter. Wanda had been right in that Vision is a miserable cook, but preparing tea for her is an age-old, cherished pastime. He works quietly, practically humming to himself as he goes. It’s in moments like these he feels his returning humanity the most, when he understands he no longer has to live in fear. That he is a part of a family, experiencing a love that he never thought he’d feel again.
It’s just as he’s finishing the tea as he hears voices from upstairs, and Wanda yawns as she comes down the stairs in her morning cotton robe and pajamas. He smiles at her as Vision sets the tea on the kitchen island. She smiles at him in thanks, moving to kiss his cheek as she takes a seat on one of the bar stools. Vizh phases into the kitchen then, albeit somewhat groggily as he opens the refrigerator and assesses their inventory of food. Vision comes up behind him, leaning his chin on Vizh’s shoulder gently as he stares into the fridge as well.
“I apologize if the groceries are…lacking. We are hopelessly lost without your abilities. There was a lot of take out for Wanda and the boys,” Vision murmurs, and Vizh turns to him, flashing him a dashing smile, gently kissing him on the cheek.
“It’s no matter, dear. I’ll get this house back in working order soon enough,” he says, before plucking out two eggs from the fridge. Vision smiles faintly as he watches Vizh work, before taking a seat next to Wanda.
“Thank god he’s home,” Wanda whispers to Vision through a smile. “We almost starved without him.” Vision chuckles, squeezing her hand in encouragement.
“How right you are,” he murmurs, and Wanda doesn’t miss his innuendo as Vizh glances up from the mixing bowl and whisk, eyes dancing in the early morning light.
