Chapter Text
Go ahead and call me a coward and say that I'm not strong
Because I'm not like you
"So Lil' dumdum, you seriously not gonna do anything about pigtails? Not even gonna try? Cause if you're not gonna go for her, I will. A body like that can't go to waste y'know." Boomer rolled his eyes, paying little attention to his green-eyed brother lounging across from him. He knew he should've gone straight to his room and mentally kicked himself.
Sitting in the living room and attempting to rest only encouraged the house villager to pick on him. At least if he was in his room he had the right to say 'get out'. "Tch, stay the fuck away from her. I bet Buttercup wouldn't like hearing the way you talk about her little sister." He shot back, his right leg bouncing on its own.
"Bah Butterbabes' fine, what she doesn't know won't kill her." The idiot smirked devilishly and Boomer almost felt bad for the green puff before realizing she would never allow someone like Butch to fuck her over and get away with it. Poor Butch actually. That was truly going to hurt.
"But it could kill you eh?" Just then Boomer felt the familiar gripping pressure on his chest and he was raised off the couch.
"Say another word and I'll pummel you to the ground, little brother. At least I have the balls to actually talk to my chicks." A glare was sent Butch's way and he let his brother go, pushing him a bit. Boomer rubbing his chest irritably, thinking to himself, 'What a brute. Always using violence to win his arguments.'
"I'm just giving her time to get to know me better, I don't need to rush anything." Boomer mumbled.
"See, that's what a coward with no strength in his sack would say."
'Oh, here we go again.'
"I'm not a coward." Boomer groaned, exhausted as Butch completely ignored him.
"That's your problem Boomer, you're a no balls having little bitch. That's why you're still a virgin." Boomer turned silent but the moron just kept going. "Just do what I does. Go up to the nearest hottie and lay down some smooth Butch talk, the ladies love that shit."
"I'm not you Butch." This time, he was silent, along with Boomer and the boy thought he'd finally gotten through his brother's thick skull. 'How about giving me some real advice and taking me fucking seriously?'
There was a small pause. "Wow. That's the smartest thing you've ever said dumdum, you're right, no one can lay down smooth Butch talk like me. Looks like your coward ass is on your own. Sorry, bud." He shoved Boomer's shoulder hard, cackling as if he'd just spat out the funniest thing ever.
Meanwhile, Boomer took the time to daydream about his last face-to-face conversation with Bubbles, remembering that he had chickened out of asking her about the new bakery shop that had opened downtown. They could've gotten some coffee or a cinnamon bun together.
'I am a coward.'
